It had been one year since we created  raid the village. Miss Peregrine had announced that we would visit Miss Quail's loop. It was a loop for rare peculiarities.

     We were bound to leave the next day. The loop was in Austria and it would take a day to get there. When Miss Peregrine announced this we immediately ran upstairs to pack.

     The next day we were on our way.
We arrived at the loop by sunset. Miss Quail greeted us and we could all see she was a cheerful woman. Next to her stood a girl that looked about ten. Her hair was chocolate brown and reached her shoulders. She had blue gray eyes that had long eyelashes above them. She wore a midnight blue dress and a black cloak. "Helena say hello." Miss Quail told the girl. "hi." She whispered so quietly I could hardly hear her.

    We walked inside where the other kids were watching a movie. Miss Quail took us to the dining room where food was prepared. I watched Helena walk out of the room. After finishing I walked upstairs to my appointed room.
I slipped on my nighting gown. I walked downstairs where the kids were watching the movie. Horace had already sat down on a leather couch. I sat down next to him and he seemed to smile. I held his hand and layed my head on his shoulder. He looked down at me and continued watching the movie. I fell asleep slowly only hearing the sound of the movie.

      I was awaken more than halfway into the movie. Horace was asleep and shivering in fear. I shook him awake and he looked at me with scared eyes.
"Kaylah... what happened?" He asked "Nothing." I said hearing the hesitation in my voice. He could hear it to but didn't question any further. He went back to sleep with out a word and I continued to watch the movie.
