[With Y/n and Heller]
Y/n and Heller began their hard adventure towards their vendetta against Gentek and BlackWatch. Father Guerra then aided Heller in their hunt for Colonel Rooks by helping them hack into Blacknet, which allowed the two to eventually track down Rooks. However, Heller decided not to kill the Blackwatch leader because he realized that he could get information from Rooks and use it to disrupt Blackwatch operations.

Later on, BlackWatch discovered that Father Guerra was aiding the Prototype Duo and sent out their forces to kill him. Guerra called in Y/n and Heller to tell them that BlackWatch force are attacking him outside is church. Heller said that they are on the way. But Guerra told them that they are coming from all directions, so they should stay away.

They replied with "screw that" and rushes to the church to save the priest. After dealing with the forces, the two that confort Guerra who is mortified that they attacked a church out of all places and laments they they shouldve let them take him. Heller rebuted that and told him to get somewhere safe. Father Guerra told them that he is heading into the green zone for safety.

After consuming many Gentek scientists, Y/n and Heller eventually located Dr Koenig, who convinced them that he wanted to help and directed the duo to Project Orion, a Blackwatch super soldier program. Y/n and him worked together to successfully stopped Project Orion, leading to them receiving the devastator power but, after consuming the lead scientist, Y/n discovered that Koenig was trying to get him and Heller killed. He explained this to the AWOL soldier who was equally pissed as well.

Koenig, after realizing that Y/n and Heller is coming to end him, contacted Blackwatch to evacuate him, but there Prototype Duo massacred the soldiers guarding the base where he was hiding. During the evacuation, Koenig boarded one of the gunships and ordered the pilot to attack Y/n and Heller instead of evacuating. However, Heller destroyed the gunship, causing Koenig to fly out of his helicopter.

[In the alley]
Y/n and Heller jumped down to find the good doctor collapsed on the ground, still clutching his side as Heller grabbed the back of his neck with his Tendril arm..

Heller: It's over doc.

As he shifted his other arm to claws while Y/n had both claws ready to eviscerate Koenig, the doctor..smiled?

Koenig: *chuckles* oh, on the contrary, it's just begun.

Then he lashed out with a backwards kick that sent Heller flying backwards into a car, leaving a dent in it as he fell to the ground. Using Y/n's shocked expression to his advantage, Koenig grabbed the black haired man, headbutts him hard and roundhouse kicks him towards another car..

They stood up feeling disoriented as Heller groans..

Heller: What the fuck? What are you?

He was met with another kick to the face from the doctor. Koenig lifted his arms to shoulder height before familiar black and red tendrils covered his arms, then receded to show two axe like blades at the end of his arms while the doctor looked at Heller and Y/n with disgust.

Koenig: I'm what you could have been.

Then he disappeared and reappeared in front of Heller, stabbed him through the chest and threw him over his shoulder. Y/n charged forward with his Claws, but however; Koenig blocks the attack inches away from his face and slashed at him inbrtween his chest and his neck..

Koenig: I'm what you two were supposed to be.

They stood ready as the doctor simply paced back and forth before them, moving with much more grace then he had before.

Koenig: I'm going to prove that to Mercer. Prove he's mistaken about you.

He attacks with his axe arms,, but Y/n and Heller manages to dodge..

Koenig: And when he sees how flawed you are.. I'll be there, watching, while you both die.

Koenig preform a B-Twist motion, while trying to slice at them again. Heller and Y/n caught his arms and gave the crooked old man an upper spice to his chest. The old man lands on his feet and shrugs it off..

Y/n: Son of a bitch.

[Fight!]

The doctor charged forward while swinging his arms with no room for mistake. Heller fought with his claws as best he could, blocking and slicing when he could, but the doc got in more hits than he did before leaping back and wiping his mouth with a smug grin.

Koenig: Oh please. You two can't beat me no matter what you do.

Y/n: Are you so sure about that?

Heller and Y/n charged with their claws in hands, as the three Evolved battled it out in NYZ's Yellow Zone.

Koenig: You're so slow, Boys. All those useless muscle weighs you down.

Heller: You'll see how useless it is when I'm ripping your head off.

Y/n switched to his tendrils and use his Black Hole ability on Koenig, stretching his Biomass onto the doctor and shooting out more to pulling in objects that crushed him.

Koenig: What do you two hope to prove here?

Heller: I'm not here to prove anything. I'm just want to fuck you up.

Koenig jumped up and tried a downwards slash at the dup, but they dodged out of the way and the blade got stuck on the ground. Heller used this chance to jump over the doctor, stick his tendrils to Koenig's back and throw/slam him to the ground..

Y/n charged forward, leaped onto Koenig while he was in the air, flipped him over and kicked him in the air. Using his enhanced speed, Y/n then proceeds to hit him with multiple claw swipes in all directions before delivering a hard kick to the back ..

Koenig took a moment to breathe from Y/n's attacks before he healed himself..

Heller: We can do this all damn day, Koenig. Only thing you're doing is stalling.

Koenig: If you kill me, Mercer won't be pleased.

Y/n: We'll worry about that as soon you are a bloody pulp.

Koenig, feeling that he is gaining no room decides to go up to the rooftops to give himself an advantage. However, Y/n and Heller are in pursuit and stopped on top of a warehouse. Koenig then began to act like a berserk animal, slashing his arms around wildly until Y/n appeared before him. Then his eyes locked on and he swung both arms at the young man for a two handed slice. Y/n raised his claws up and caught both attacks, not budging except to sink into the ground slightly from the force.

He gave the doctor a blank look then took his left blade arm in a secure grasp, and quickly brought his Claw down to slice it off before consuming it. The doc howled in pain as he shifted his other arm to normal and clutched at the stump of the other one, falling to the ground in pain. Y/n moves out the way as Heller stalked up to him as the doctor stayed down then lifted him up by his neck. The doctor gave him a hate filled glare as he snarled, with blood running out of his mouth and turning his beard red.

Koenig: *last words* You want me to beg, Heller? Is that what you want?

Heller snarled right back as he threw the doctor face down on the ground..

Heller: I want you to shut up and die!

He grabbed the doctors back in both hands in claw form, slammed him to the ground and repeatedly punched the doctor into a bloody pulp before finally smashing his head open with his boot and consumed him. And be sucked into the most important memory to date.

[Memory]

Koenig: I must say Mr. Mercer recruiting the evolved from inside Genteck's ranks is pure genius. We'll rocket through their power structure, why Sabrina Galloway has already been nominated for CFO.

Heller was looking through Koenig's eyes as he saw the hood face of mercer as he said:

Mercer: Then I suggest you follow her example. I'll need everybody in place for what need to be done in the Green Zone."

Koenig: Of course, sir.

And with that Heller was pulled out of the memory. Y/n kneels to Heller's level and asked.

Y/n: What did you see?

Before he could answer he heard a loud thud above him with the shout:

???: HELLER! WILSON!

Heller snapped out of his trance as he whirled around with one hand in claws the other tendril. He looked up with a snarl on his face, with Y/n in a defensive stance as they looked up at a standing outline of Alex Mercer. He looked down with his usual expressionless face, but his eyes were cold and angry

Mercer: Hello James...Y/n. How's life treating you?

Y/n: Screw you mercer. You know how life's treating me and right now it's pretty damn shitty.

Mercer: *gives off a chuckle* Such venom. I gave you everything. And this is how you repay me? By killing Koenig, who I needed ALIVE!?

Heller: Then you should have told us that there were more of us running around. Especially some insane crazy mad scientist motherfucker.

Mercer sighed as he jumped down and began to walk towards them at a slow controlled rate, almost like a strut with his hands at his side waving vaguely to his sides.

Mercer: So now you know. We're in Genteck, We're in Blackwatch. Our eyes and ears are everywhere."

James slowly relaxed as the realization dawned on him.

Mercer: You're building an army.

Mercer: *raises his left hand and clenched it* and soon, there will be enough of us for me to lead a charge that will wipe Genteck and Blackwatch from the face of the earth.

Y/n: *uncertain*...and the virus?

Mercer: What?

Heller: The virus goes too, right?

Mercer looked at the duo again and spoke, with a clear and level voice, and his eye's still dead looking..

Mercer: Of course. All part of the plan.

And with that cherry parting, mercer turned and leapt into the darkness above them. Though none of them relaxed for a few minutes to make sure he was gone. Heller shifted his arms to normal as his phone rang.

Heller: Father.

Guerra: You and Y/n need to come see me in the green zone. Athena's got some bad news.

Heller: Same here. Mercer's been feeding us a line of bull shit. He's up to something.

Guerra: James, you don't know the half of it.

James sighed, this sounded like it would send his day down even further.

Y/n: Wait, Father. how exactly did you get to the Green Zone? All the bridges are out.

Guerra: Not the airbridge. Blackwatch transport helicopters flies people in and out of the zones. I bribed one of the pilots to take me there.

Heller: Hmm..not much for bribing. i think we'll just bodysnatch some poor bastard and and steal his seat. I'll call when we get there.

[Timeskip]
After getting a night's rest, Y/n and Heller headed to a BlackWatch base with an airbridge and consumed some pilots before entering the helicopter

Y/n: Hey, Father.

Guerra: *turns to Y/n and Heller walking in* It's great to see you in one piece.

Heller: No reason to worry father, we've picked up some tricks. Now what did you want to show us?

The priest's face fell into a sad look as he pulled up a simulation of some sort.

Guerra: this. This is a simulation of the first infection of New York, when it was released at Penn station. One of Athena's contacts did the math to make this.

As they watched, a red circle began to spread outward at a rapid rate, with a death counter and graph along the side rising rapidly.

Guerra: Now the second outbreak.

This simulation resembled the first, except the circle spread farther faster, with the death rate climbing just as fast. Heller was confused.

Y/n: What did this have to do with mercer? They had other things to worry about.

Guerra: Now watch what happens if we reverse the flow, basically see where the infection started then we get...."

Heller: Father we have...

Guerra: THERE!

Heller looked at the screen again and felt his insides turn to ice as he looked at the address of the second outbreak.

Heller: You have to be kidding me. The second outbreak happened in the same spot as the first? How?

Guerra: *tapped a few keys* This is the footage that Athena got at Penn station the day of the second outbreak.

The two crowded around the screen as they watched. It showed the place being deserted except for some homeless people who were sleeping fitfully on benches of the train platform, which was dirtied and scattered with broken pieces of the station. As they watched, they saw a figure begin walking from the outer rim to the center of the room. He came into the light with his back to the camera but had on a jacket with a familiar design on it, with a gray hoodie covering his head.

Y/n clenched his fists as he watched the figure crouch down and seem to ripple as a light red mist emitted from him. Then he stood up and snapped his arms out at his sides, releasing a blood red mist. The mist covered the homeless in seconds as it drifted outside, leaving them to squirm on the on the ground in pain and begin to change into walkers. And then the figure turned around and seemed to look at the camera as a wide grin split the shadowed face of Alex Mercer.

Heller banged both hands on the desk before turning away with his head in his hands. He saw the images of his apartment being a mess, with his wife lying dead on the ground, drenched in blood while a torn and bloodied teddy bear lay next to her body, with Maya nowhere in sight.

Heller: He killed them father. Maya and Colette.

Guerra: I know James. And I'm sorry. But I'm afraid we've reached a dead end. I have nothing, Athena had nothing, and we have no new information to go on

Y/n: Wait. *turns to Heller* What about your memories?

Heller: Huh?

Y/n: Think back of the soldiers and scientists that you consumed. Maybe it can help.

Heller shifted through his grief and anger, and then shoved it to the side to search through the memories of those he had consumed to look for some scrap of information that could set them on the right track. Then he remembered something he saw in Koenig's memories

Koenig:...why Sabrina Galloway is already in line for CFO..."

Heller: Sabrina Galloway. Mercer had her spying on Genteck; she's one of his Evolved."

Guerra: I know that name...*gets up and searches a bin* it's somewhere...here...*picks up a file* YES! HERE IT IS!

Heller turned around as he saw father grab a file from the stack next to him and open it. It showed a woman in her mid-30, brown hair in a ponytail while her face looked like a super models, her brown eyes looking coldly back out of the picture.

Guerra: Look, it was in Blacknet. Lieutenant Riley is holding a briefing about her later today. If you can get in on that briefing, then we might get a lead on her whereabouts.

Y/n: Sound's like a plan.

Heller: *turned to Guerra* What's the closest Blackwatch base in the green zone?

Guerra: The closest one is about 6 blocks from here. You should be able to find someone there who's part of the briefing.

Y/n: Ok, then. Lets get to work.

[Timeskip: Taking the Castle]
Heller and Y/n infiltrated a briefing with Rooks using their BlackWatch Uniforms to enter unnoticed.

Rooks: My company is heading up whats left of Koenig's team, which means your platoon has just become part of that detail.

Heller: *disguise* They reporting to Doctor Archer, now?

Riley: *to Heller* You will request permission to speak before opening your mouth, shit stain!

Rooks: Thanks to recent breaches of security, you will be given only the information you need. All other Intel will remain between Lieutenant Riley and myself. Additionally, so neither of us have to sirens time un-fucking your screw up. Lieutenant Riley will be commanding this mission. Dismissed.

The troopers salutes before walking off to their mission. Heller and Y/n follow them until they had to split up..

Riley: Ballista Four Four, the first group of scientists in transit Site One. Pickup and transport to Site Two. I am sending coordinates now.

Soldier: Roger, Castle. We're Oscar Mike.

As the Prototype Duo were jumping rooftops, their phones started to ring to be Father Guerra. They answered it.

Guerra: What did you two find out?

Heller: Thr scientists are already here. They're being flown in from the YZ.

Y/n: Were on our way to "Meet" them and possibly get a lead on this Doctor Archer.

Guerra: Alright, good luck.

He hung up as they landed near the tall building where the scientists are expected to be at.

Riley: Ballista Four Four, Koenig's first group has touched down at Site One. What's your ETA?

Soldier: Castle, this is Four Four, we are five Mike's out, over.

Riley: Quit sitting on the throttle and move some ass! We've already lost too many of these guys.

Y/n: And they'll lose even more.

They ran off the building with such speed and climbed up. They unfolded their disguises, much to the shocking of everyone.

Y/n: Time to feast.

Both of them charged at the now afraid scientists and began consuming them one at a time while soldiers shoot at them..

Soldier: *alarmed* Castle, this is Viper Four One! Heller and Wilson is Here, say again, Heller and Wilson is here!

Riley: Shit! Four One, maintain position and wait for Ballista Four Four to arrive. Engage them both if you can.

Y/n gets done snapping the neck of the scientist he's holding before consuming him.

Y/n: Wow..these guys know nothing about Mercer.

Heller: They must not be involved.

Riley: Gentek is reporting they're lost contact with Koenig's team. The fuck is going on up-*realizes something* Oh, Shit! It's gonna be them!

[With Riley]
Riley: *speaking with Rooks* Site one is compromised. I don't know how they knew, but it was the Prototypes.

He moves aside two ORION soldiers to pass through to the Tank.

Rooks: Heller and Wilson cannot get to Site Two. DO NOT fuck this up, Lieutenant.

Riley: I'm already on it, sir.

He climbs on top of the Tank and motions the driver and the ORION soldiers to move.

Riley: Lets roll!

The Tank then drives with the large soldiers following behind.

[Back to the Prototype Duo]

Heller: Father. This little bitch, Lieutenant Riley: He's second in command under Rooks, right? If I were to "take his place"..Bet I could get a whole lot of useful information.

Guerra: You do what you need to do.

Riley: Mako One, this is Castle! Change of mission: James Heller and Y/n Wilson is in the grid! Set up a full zone perimeter and report all sightings. I want those cocksuckers in fucking bodybags!

Y/n: Such Language.

Y/n sees four Tanks surveying this zone. Heller tries his Hunter Pulse to get a read on the Commanders location, but gets nothing. Something about thise tanks must be jamming it from revealing Riley.

Y/n: Alright, let's split the workload. You go after two tanks, while I get the other two.

Heller: Sounds like a plan.

The two split up in search of Riley on the tanks.

[With Y/n]
He morphs his hands into Claws and divebombed onto the front of a tank, and sinks his claws onto the ground, forcing out a large Groundspike that sent the vehicle flying and falling back into a explosion.

Y/n: *yanks claws from ground* What's up, Fuckers?

Soldier: It's the second test subject!

Soldier#2: Kill him!

They started shooting as Y/n brought up his shields, bashing the soldiers in his way. He unleashed a Barrage of Tendrils, splitting a bunch in half, some dismembered and one bleeding to death. One of the tanks took aim and fired, but with good timing, Y/n brought up his shields, making the round ricochet back to the tank, damaging it. Y/n takes notice of the minigun attachment on the tank as he he jumps on top to get one. He used his biomass to harden his arms until they were metal-like and ppunded on the Minigun, loosing it up and then with brute strength, rips it off..

Tank driver: Oh my God, he..he just ripped of my fucking minigun!

Y/n then unleashed a hellfore of bullets on the tank, which slowly did some damage until it exploded.

Y/n: *looks at the Minigun* I'm keeping you with me for the time being.

He puts it on his back and jumped towards the second tank. He used his strength to rip off the top of tank with the driver in it and slam it back on the body, making the vehicle explode..

Y/n: Ok, not here. Let's see how Heller is doing.

[With Heller]
The soldier laid waste to two of the tanks with some rocket launchers. One the Tanks hatch opened to reveal Riley getting out of the flaming tank. The explosion from it, blew the lieutenant a few feet away as Heller sees this.

Heller: Alright, There you are! Not so tough, are ya, Riley? WHERES YOUR SEDATIVES AND YOUR PLATE GLASS WINDOW, HUH?! WHERES YOUR CLOSET FULL OF ZOMBIES NOW?!

Riley: Jesus Christ! Somebody kill this psycho!

Y/n comes in and shreds most of the BlackWatch surrounding Riley as Heller grabs him by the neck and hoisted him up.

Riley: *chokes; Last words* Fuckin Freak! Rooks is gonna kill you!

Heller: Not if he thinks I'm you.

Then he jabbed his elbow hard on Riley's back before snalping his neck and consuming him and pulling him into the web of intrigue.

[Memory]

Reily was walking besides rooks as the Colonel speaks about Koenig..

Rooks: have you managed to pull up any Intel on Koening's location?

Riley: *shook his head* no sir.

Rooks: *frustrated* damn it. He had full access to all the white light storage facilities, and a couple times he deliberately concealed where he was going and what he was doing. Makes me question him and his team." Then Heller was pulled back out.

Heller pondered what he had learned. Koenig had been evolved, and he had concealed what he was doing while having access to white light stores. That combo did not sit well with him at all.

Y/n: How bad was it?

Heller: *looks at Y/n with preoccupied eyes* Bad. Reilly saw rooks saying that Koenig had access to all white light stores and concealed what he was doing. That, on top of being mercers evolved, is not a good thing."

Before Y/n could respond, Heller's phone rang. As he looked at the display, he saw that it was rooks calling and quickly changed into his new riley disguise. He answered the phone and heard rooks say in a pissed voice

Rooks: Castle, this is checkmate, where the fuck are you?

Heller cleared his throat first before he said in Riley's voice

Heller: *as Riley* this is Riley... uh I mean Castle. Sorry, things got a little crazy for a second.

Rooks: No shit! Get your ass to a secure location, Dr. Archer is missing.

Riley: Roger that.

Heller hung up and then called father as he shifted back to his normal form.

Heller: Father, Archer is missing. Blackwatch has no idea where she is, but she was working on that white light program. That and being handpicked by Koenig, she has to be an evolved.

Guerra: I'll have Athena look into it, but how we would need to know where she disappeared?

Heller: Don't worry, now that I have Riley's identity, Rooks will tell me anything I need to know. Me and Wilson are heading back now. We'll see you in 5.

Guerra: See you then. *hangs up*

Heller: Come on, we've done our damage for the day.

And with that statement, they both jump back towards their hideout.

[The next day]
It was later in the afternoon the next day when Heller, Y/n, and Guerra decided to get back on archers trail. Heller and the group went a few blocks from the apartment while Heller shifted into riley. He dialed up rook on his phone and set it for face to face with the other 2 out of the shot.

Rooks answered overlooking the touch table in the middle of the base he was currently in.

Rooks: Rooks here.

Heller: *as Riley* Can you send me Dr. Archer's last known location?

Rooks: *shook his head and rubbed his eyes with one hand* Archer's gone. She and her people disappeared after Heller and Wilson killed off Koenig's team. The last member of Archer's team to go missing was a Dr. Gutierrez. I'll send you his last known coordinates.

Heller: Roger that. *looks to Y/n and Guerra as he turns back* Archer and her team went dark after we killed Koening's team, but we do have the location of the last member to go dark. It's a small park that's down town.

Guerra: I'll be here if you need me.

[Timeskip]

They got there in a few minutes and landed on top of a apartment complex.

Heller: Spread out, look for anything out of the ordinary. If you spot something, just come back to me.

Y/n nodded and as he watched, he noticed movement in the corner of his eye. He quickly turned his head and saw 3 Blackwatch soldiers standing side by side. One of them was looking right at him, and he thought he faintly heard a "oh crap," from him. Y/n quickly stepped back until he could watch what happened without being seen. As he watched, the soldier that had spotted him seemed to look between the two besides him. He settled for the one on his right. As He and Heller watched, the soldier raised his right arm, pointed 2 fingers, and then jabbed them into the neck of the soldier next to him.

He quickly took his finger out and walked away as Y/n's eyes remained glued in horror and fascination as the soldier that had been jabbed began to groan and gurgled horribly as the other one said

"Soldier": Hey, what's wrong bro?

The "soldier" then ran towards another one and grabbed his shoulder to get his attention.

Soldier#2: What is it, man?

But as Y/n, Heller and the two soldiers watched, the body of the now dead man exploded like a bomb, sending out tendrils and latching on to people, vehicles, and other things before sucking them into an explosion of blood and shrapnel.

Heller: See right there..that is the shit.

Y/n: Yeah. *looks to the left to see if the person was still there* Damn. Where did he go?

Heller sent out a hunter pulse and saw it rebound off somebody a few blocks down.

Heller: Got him.

Y/n followed Heller to the disguised Evolved and they landed into him.

Y/n: You're dead, asshole.

As Y/n reaches to grab him, the said soldier quickly grabs his arm and fling him over to the floor. The Evolved dropped his gun and shifted into his true form, with the typical ax blades coming out of his arms. He was a middle aged man, having blond hair and sunglasses while he sneered at them.

Evolved: well, well, look what the dog dragged in. heard a lot about you Heller, and your sidekick.

Y/n: *gives him the bird*

Heller: *shifted to his sealed blade arm* Then you know that you bastards haven't been much trouble against us.

Evolved: Maybe, but those were the generation one that mercer made. After seeing what you could do, he decided to help us evolve even more.

Y/n and Heller quickly swung their swords as they turned just as the evolved swung his ax arms. The blades meet with a clang and stopped, the arms of everyone trembling slightly while the evolved simply smirked. They began to trade blows back and forth, the evolved managing to keep up with their speed and strength with little to no trouble. Y/n and Heller jumped backwards after the evolved tried a scissors cut, both panting slightly as they bought some distance. Heller entangled the bastard with his multiple Tendrils as Y/n then used his Blade to give huge slices to his torso, making him scream in pain. The fight ends when Y/n stabs through the man, forcing the evolved on his knees. Heller and Wilson grabbed the evolved with one hand and then jabbed him in the chest to consume him together. But both Heller and Y/n instantly got the memories before either of them had a chance to consume the body.

[Memory]
The evolved was looking at Gutierrez who was handing him a letter.

Gutierrez: This is from archer and Koenig. You've taken precautions on this right?

Evolved: *snort* as he took the letter* You know where this heading harry, do you really think I'll risk pissing off Alex Mercer?

Gutierrez: *nodded in satisfaction* Deliver that to base Adams and don't waste any time.

[End of Memory]
Heller and Y/n shook their heasd as Heller looked at the body of the bio bomber in his hand. Then he felt something shift in the body and looked to see several tendrils beginning to grow out of the body.

Y/n: It's gonna blow!

Heller quickly threw it down a nearby alley just as it exploded, sending out tendrils just like it had with Blackwatch guard.

Heller: *chuckled* Damn, that'll be handy.

Y/n: It sucks ass that wasn't him, but he was taking a message to someone at base Adams from archer. Let's go see if that 'someone's' Gutierrez, shall we?

[At base 7]

They arrived at the base in a few minutes, overlooking it from a nearby building. Heller sent out a pulse for it to rebound from inside the building.

Heller: Archer's pen pal is in there. Any ideas on how to draw him out?"

Y/n scratched his chin as he thought for a minute and looked over the setup of the base. Then as he was looking at the base commander, he got an idea. He smiled evilly as he pointed at the base commander

Y/n: I think an exploding solider might do the trick, don't you think?

Heller: Agreed. Why don't you set it off?

Y/n: Don't mind if i do. *morphs into a Blackwatch trooper* Ok, it won't work if they see the real me.

Y/m walked in and spotted the commander standing where he had been before, behind a row of 5 soldiers, all of their back to the commander. Y/n began walking towards him.

[Y/n's P.O.V]

I walked with purpose towards the commander from behind, being careful to keep an eye on the nearby soldiers, but they just ignored me as I walked past. I quickly walked to the commander, past him, and then grabbed him from behind in a head lock. Before he could cry out, I quickly gathered some bio mass to my index finger and jabbed him in the neck before releasing him and quickly walking away as he began to gurgle and convulse.

He began to spit out blood and scream in pain as his body began to move like snakes were trapped under the skin. Naturally the nearby soldiers took notice of this and were pointing their guns at the commander as he fell to his knees, body writhing more violently before tendrils shot out, catching his five soldiers, a few wooden crates, and a gas tank and reeling them all in. the resulting explosion of blood and gore caught everyone's attention and sent the entire base into high alert, with guards pouring out of the base to cover the exits and entrances.

Y/n: *smiles beneath his helmet and thinks* Damn, that work better than I expected it too.

And just as well as he felt done, Y/n suddenly heard several screams coming from the base. Y/n turned his head to see a evolved Blackwatch guard with his blade arms formed running out. The guard stopped for a brief second before his masked gaze locked onto him.

Evolved: Y/n Wilson. You'll never find Dr. Archer. That search will end here with your death.

Y/n: Hmph..then it's a good thing that I'm not alone."

Heller then jumped next to Y/n with his Claws out, ready to fight. Y/n snapped his head as he heard a guard speak:

Guard: RED CROWN, COME IN, WE HAVE Heller AND WILSON AT BASE ADAMS, ALONG WITH AN INFECTED HOSTILE! REQUESTING BACK UP, OVER!"

Red Crown: Copy that. All units at base tango and base Charlie divert forces to base Adams, over.

Y/n and Heller charged at the evolved guard as he blacked their strikes..

Evolved: Is this really the best you two can do? Pretty shitty if you ask me.

Y/n: Buddy, you'll eat your words when I'm crushing your skull.

[Timeskip because this one is just same as a normal Evolved]
After wearing him down, Y/n used his Claws to stab through the man's
Eyes and through his head, making him scream in agony before Y/n consumed him and gained a new memory.

[Memory]
The evolved was looking right at Gutierrez as he asked

Evolved: Dr. Gutierrez, are you sure this effect will propagate?"

Gutierrez: Even a small sample introduced into a large specimen will cause the conversion process. Archer just needs the exact process.

Evolved: And it'll really do this thing that you described?

The doctor laughed as he handed him a flash drive of some sort and spoke..

Gutierrez: Rest assured, once he makes the connection, Alex Mercer will control every last drop of white light in existence, down to the molecular level.

[End of Memory]
Y/n shook his head. This wasn't good. If mercer could control whitelight, and the whitelight could mutate at his will, who knew what evil he might unleash on this city. Then he felt a hand on his shoulder and spun around to see Heller, looking concerned..

Heller: you okay Y/n?

Y/n: Yeah, but I just found out Mercer may be able to control whitelight at will. The said whitelight can mutate into anything he wants it to.

Y/n's phone started to ring as he picked it up to be Father Guerra. Father had called and told them he had found Gutierrez; he was hiding at city hall and hadn't moved for a few hours.

Guerra: But you should hurry over there and get him before he changes location.

Heller: Were on it.

[Timeskip]
The two was overlooking the location as they waited for Gutierrez to leave the building. The building itself was pretty typical, huge and imposing with white marble everywhere, but the location would be trouble. Since it was in the middle of the city in midday, there was simply herds of civilians that could get caught in the cross fire, and since it was the middle of the city, they would have to deal with Blackwatch pouring in from all sides.

Heller: This is going to get messy.

Y/n: I know. I hope we can try to reduce damage to civilians.

Then Heller felt something powerful come out of the building. He turned and sent out a hunter pulse to find that something. The pulse bounced back to show that Gutierrez was walking out of the building, seemingly alone while simply looking like a human to all the world.

The Prototype Duo ran towards Gutierrez as Y/n and Heller had both fists up in a boxer pose, ready to shift either to the weapon he would need. Gutierrez immediately spotted them and shifted his arms to ax arms, causing a panic as the crowd saw this and began to run away screaming while Gutierrez paced back and forth across the stairs, eyes never leaving them as he said.

Gutierrez: Well, well, Jimmy Heller and Little Wilson. I've been wondering if I would get the pleasure.

Heller *growls* Great, tell us where Archer is right fucking now.

Gutierrez: *laughed* Not even if you asked politely.

Two more evolved appeared then, one leaping besides Gutierrez while the other jumped of the top of city hall, doing a back flip to show off on the way down. Both had arms like Swiss army knives, but thicker to allow for heavier blows.

Gutierrez: Now it's time to put you all in your place.

[Fight!]
The two random Evolved charged like rabid animals, swinging their Bladed arms towards Y/n and Heller. They were forced to block with their claws and then strike back.

Gutierrez: You poor, poor fools.

Realizing that their strikes are becoming too much, Y/n and Heller jumped to get more breathing room, all the while Gutierrez and his men followed them. They landed to a base where their fight continues.

Eventually, Y/n and Heller decided enough was enough as both Prototypes emitted a reddish aura, raised their legs and stomped the floor, reminiscent of the Groundshatter move from the first game that launches Gutierrez and his minions upward. Acting like fragmentation grenades, they unfolded their arms and "explodes", releasing all biomass they had gained from consuming the infected and key individuals.

The two evolved started to feel weakened and that left left then open for the two Prototypes to end their lifes and consume them. Gutierrez was by himself with his minions consumed. He looked at Heller walking towards him and panted.

Gutierrez: How...the hell... did you...get this strength?

Heller looked at Gutierrez with cold eyes and didn't bother to respond as Heller sliced off Gutierrez's head and consumed the remains.

[Memory]
Gutierrez was standing by silently as Archer and Mercer were talking.

Mercer: Dr. Archer, has your team completed your goal?"

Archer: *smugly nods* Implantation is 98% complete Doctor Mercer. Nearly every existing store of white light is treated.

Mercer looked at archer with the eyes of the devil, staring down to her soul

Mercer: Not good enough. I want all of it.

Archer: *looked shocked* you...want me to go back? But sir, the risk of exposure...

Mercer: *cut her off with a growl* the risk if you don't go back will be far greater, I assure I understood?"

Archer hung her head as she spoke in a submitted tone.

Archer: yes sir.

[End of Memory]
Heller shook his head. Not good. If all the stores of white light were almost treated, then Mercer would make his move soon. He and Y/n then jumped away for a moments rest. A few minutes later, Heller cell ring as he saw it to be Rooks. He morphed into Riley and answered.

Rooks: cutting to the chase* Riley, call off the wild goose chase, the goose turned up.

Heller: *surprised as he said in rielys voice* Who? Archer? Where is she?

Rooks: She's at a whitelight depot. Forget about her and get back here, we have work to do.

Riley: Understood sir. Just curious, which depot?

Rooks: *annoyed voice* I'll send you the report, now move your ass.

Heller: Roger that.

Y/n: We need to get to archer now, before she disappears again.

Heller nodded and then looked at his phone as he received the report. According to it, Archer was at a depot about 2 miles from here.

Five minutes later, The Two was standing outside the perimeter of the depot, overlooking the set up. The depot itself was a factory like building you would see in the city, with brick work and smoke towers, but it was surrounded with easily a square mile of land, all of which had guards and tanks, as well as whitelight tanks in it, along with viral sensors in a few places, and some scientist running to and from. With their scientist form, they sneaked inside base.

Guerra: *calls and shows them camera footage* Ok, Athena tape into their security cameras.

Heller: I see that. This is good..real good.

Guerra: *shows them a view of a female scientist in her lab* That's her, guys. In the secure room at the back. Athena says the door DNA-locked to Archer herself. I don't think you can get in there.

Heller: Then we'll just have to get her out. *overlooks the area* Those tanks are filled with toxic gas. If I burst them.. shell come running.

With that, they get to work on causing a rift in the base. When a solider came around on his rounds and walked past him, Heller quickly covered his mouth and jabbed him in the next, injecting the bio bomb strain of virus into him. Before leaving, he quickly took two grenades from his belt. Heller and Y/n walked across the room and stood between two of the other contraries and waited for a second.

All of a sudden, there was a tearing sound that was heard through the room and then several tendrils snapped out from behind the container Heller had bio bombed the man, grabbing several scientist and 2 Blackwatch guards, as well as some explosive gas containers before reeling them in to explode in fire and blood at the container. The container itself was dented and several tears in the metal began to spew a light green gas.

The reaction was immediate. The scientist began to yell and run for the exits while the Blackwatch guards began yelling into their radios and a base alarm began to blare. Archer yelled over the intercom.

Archer: GET THAT GAS CONTANIED!

Heller quickly took the two grenades, popped the pins, and threw them at the two silos for them to explode on contact, blowing a hole in them, releasing the gas from them. The room was filling quickly as Heller saw it begin creeping into the room archer was via the ventilation system, and archer began coughing. Heller and Y/n was protected due to the mask that came with their disguise.

Y/n went to the last silo with two BlackWatch troopers near it. He then snuck behind the two guards behind him and jabbed two fingers into them, injecting them with his Bio-Bomb strain before walking off. Like with Heller, tendrils erupted from the two grabbing explosive barrels before reeling them in to explode in fire and blood at the container, which explodes.

The gas had now filled the entire room and one guard had been killed from being blasted against the wall from the explosion with enough force to snap his spine. The other had enough sense to step against the wall when it hit and was still alive when archer stumbled from the room coughing like she had the plague.

BlackWatch Soldier: DOC, WE NEED TO GET YOU OUT!"

She ignored him and stumbled to the wall towards a large red button, which she promptly hit, causing a female voice to announce.

Loudspeaker: ALERT, EMERGENCY VENTILATION ACTIVATED!

Several giant fans along one wall roared to life, sucking the gas rapidly into night sky while archer stopped coughing and breathed deeply. The guard grabbed archer's shoulder gaining her attention.. but would almost be his fatal mistake

BlackWatch Soldier: DOCTOR! DOCTOR, I WILL DRAG YOUR ASS OUT IF I NEED TO, NOW COME...

The guard never got to finish his sentence as archer's arms shifted to ax blades and she whirled around to stab him several times in rapid succession in the chest. The guard stood for a second gurgling before she took both arms and cleaved him in half across the chest. As the half fell to the ground with a wet thud, archer walked to look down at Y/n and Heller, who was facing her with is arms ready to change as she pointed at them with the tip of her arm.

Archer:it was a mistake to come here.

Heller snorted as the air cleared enough for him to change to his real form with his Blade forming while Y/n gets his tendrils.

Heller: Don't think so Archer, you got info we want.

Archer: Just try to take it.

[Fight!]

And then the real fight began. They both disappeared to clash in midair, both their arms trembling before they pushed each other away. Heller and Y/n went skidding across the floor, knocking away tables while archer flipped and landed with her feet on the wall. She pushed off towards the duo at high speed, too fast for an average person to see, but Heller and Y/n brought up the flat side of their blades to block her before Heller makes his claws and slashing her across the chest, forcing her away.

This went on for several minutes, all at hyper speeds until archer was slightly panting while Heller still wasn't using full power. Archer smirked then began laughing as she crossed her arms

Archer: Not bad, now let's call in some friends.

Her energy spiked as she spread her arms and roared at the ceiling like a lion, only it was a brawler roar. A few seconds later, 4 brawlers came crashing through the ceiling and landed on all fours, cracking the floor while glaring at Heller and Y/n with hate fill red eyes. archer began laughing and said

Archer's: Looks like you're outnumbered, Boys.

Y/n: Ok, that's new.

Archer jumps away from her Brawler pack as the 4 infected roared and charges at Heller and Y/n. One leaped at Heller, grabbing him and taking him to another room as Y/n is dealt with the other three and Archer herself..

Archer: It's such a shame I have to kill a handsome man like you.

Y/n: Yeah, um..how do I say: "You are one crazy ass Skank" without offending you?

Archer: *eye twitched from that*
Kill him!

The brawlers charged like a raging bill, trying to sink their teeth onto Y/n. He leaped away from their jaws and use his Groundspike ability to send a large array of spikes to impale them and throw them in the air. One of them bled to death was the other only suffered a impaling to the shoulder, but was forcefully stuck. Y/n then charges with his bare hands and gives the thrid one on the ground it a sickening punch to it's lower jaw.

The Brawler tried to bite back, but Y/n clamps it's mouth with his right hand and held it's left arm from trying to see him as he laid down a load of punches to it's face.

Seeing the Brawler disoriented enough, Y/n gave it a swinging hard closed fisted punch, grab the top of it's head and held it back while holding the bottom jaw. The Brawler roared angrily before Y/n with his strength pulled the bottom jaw down so hard, brutally ripped apart, splitting it in half to the waist and exposing its organs.

Y/n tossed the dead infected into the ground hard before looking up at Archer..

Archer: Intresting..

Archer leaped into the air before she got herself ensnared by Y/n's Tendrils and pulled towards him. He them slashes off one of Archer's bladed arms, before ending her with his claws stabbing through the back of her head before he consumed her..

[Memory]
Archer was working in a lab with one other scientist, but the lab was otherwise deserted as archer handed the other a vial.

Archer: Be careful with that sample Jenkins, it's worth more than you are.

Jenkins: *takes the vial and looked at it carefully* Doctor Archer is it true? That the culture your injecting into the whitelight...it was taken from Alex mercer himself?

Archer: *working on something else* That's right, and that is why you will treat it with reverence...or suffer the consequences.

Y/n shook his head as the memory cleared. He spun around as he heard the brawlers roar and charge him. He was about to strike them down before he felt a sense of connection to them. Acting on impulse he yelled in an echoing voice:

Y/n: STOP!

The brawlers skidded to a halt before Y/m and backed up slightly before bowing their heads and lying on the ground, like dogs that had been scolded.

Y/n: Neat. Follow me.

Y/n then heads out of the lair with the Brawlers following behind him.

[With Heller]
He just got done killing off the two Brawlers, just as a bunch of BlackWatch Soldiers and two Orion grunts come up under him.

Soldier: Sir, we got him trapped. What are your order's?

Rooks: Take him down.

Y/n: *lands next to Heller* Archer's taken care of. Also got a new power. Watch this.

Y/n emits a reddish aura as he raised his arms separately stomped on the roof and emitted a bellow while expelling his energy. Two Brawlers then jumped next to Y/n, much to Heller's shock.

Soldier: Oh, shit. Wilson's still alive, and he...it's like he's controlling the infected!

The brawlers then make quick work of the soldiers and Orion's before jumping back to their master. A BlackWatch Strike chopper flying in next to them

Pilot: Checkmate, this is Catapult Four One. We are fully engaged with tango primaries, over.

Rooks: Roger that Four One. Do notnlet those two escape. Checkmate out.

Y/n commands the Brawlers to attack the Helicopter. The Pilot can only scream in horror as the Two Infected leaped and charged at the Helo with such force, it exploded upon their contact.

Heller: Heh..hungry little fuckers ain't ya?

The two then witness a pair of Tanks coming their way with cannons at the ready. Y/n, seeing that his Brawler pack is done enough for today decides to initiate one more command. He points at the tanks.

Y/n: End this!

The brawlers then jumped in between the tanks and bubbled up before exploding into various amounts of tendrils that caused the tanks to explode.

Y/n: Nice. Wonder if they'll fetch my slippers.

Heller: That shit is impressive.

Y/n: Thanks. Lets get out of here.

Heller and Y/n then moved and jumped out of the base to call it a night.
