*Kat pov*

    I was running faster and faster, not looking where I was going, I tripped over a crack.

    "SHIT!" I fell on my face. I scrambled to get up, feeling a tentacle brush my side as I stated running again. He was right behind me. I ran faster and faster. He was constantly behind me, I could feel him.

    [STOP.] Slenderman commanded. I just ran faster.

    [YOU HAVE BEEN ORDERED TO STOP, STOP!] His voice had an annoyed tone to it. I kept running even though my strength was failing me. I started gasping for breath with tears streaming down my face. I remembered the pain I felt when Slenderman and Trenderman fought over me. I kept running slower and slower against my will. My legs felt like they were about to give out. I kept running the best I could but it wasn't fast enough because I felt a tentacle wrap around my waist.

    "No...let me go...please..." I gasped out in between gaps of breath. I struggled in his grip. He brought me up to his face.

    "No....don't hurt me again..." I gasped as I tried to squirm out of his grasp with tears streaming down my face. I go limp, I can't fight an immortal force.

    "please...don't hurt me again." I wimpered, my head down. I felt one of Slenderman's tentacles push my chin up. I looked into his face, my vision blurry from the tears. Blood started leaking from between his tentacles from my wound. He grabbed my arms and examined my gaping wound. He looked surprised.

    [I-I'm sorry.] I looked up in shock. He was apologising?!?! Blood was still seeping through my wound spilling onto the ground. I began to get light headed. I coughed up blood.

    [Are you ok?]

    "I'm *cough* fine *Cough Hack*." I shuddered and slumped down in his grip. He lifted my face up again. I looked into his face, feeling even more light headed. I saw flashing lights in the distance coming closer.

    "you *COUGH* should run." I weakly pointed at the fastly approaching cop cars. *BANG BANG* they were shooting at us. Slenderman grabbed me out of his tentacle and held me close to his chest as he ran into the woods. Night was falling as we teleported back home. I was still in Slenderman's arms. I coughed up more blood into my hand. I leaned my head against Slenderman's muscular chest and closed my eyes. I was so tired. I just want to go to sleep.

    [No stay awake!] Slenderman shook me.

    "just let me sleep, I'm so tired." I moaned.

   [SOMEONE HELP KATHLEEN IS DIEING!] Slenderman yelled out. Dieing? That's a funny word. Slenderman put me down on the couch as a bunch of blurry figures ran into the room. One of them came up to me. He looked familiar. His amber eyes were etched with concern. 

    "Kat? KAT!?" He looked straight into my eyes and I looked back, not sure how to respond to this familiar looking stranger, then his name popped up into my mind.

    "T-Toby?", I whispered and he nodded, "Good." The pain was starting to numb a bit. Good. The pain was unbearable at first, but now it was a dull ache. I sighed.

    "MOVE OUT OF THE WAY!" A masked man pushed Toby away and started examining my stomach, I can't imagine why. Toby gets up and goes over to my head. I look at him. Tears start to stream down his face.

    "WHY ISN'T SHE HEALING GOD DAMMIT!!" The masked man yelled, Jack, Eyeless Jack I think that's what his name is, but I'm not sure. He pulled up my sleeve.

    "OH SHIT NOT GOOD! NOT GOOD!"

    [What is it?!] Eyeless Jack started threading a needle and pushed it into my side.

    "AAAAAAAAAA" The pain was terrible. I just wanted to rest and they start sticking needles into me.

    "She dosent have a proxy mark, not from you, and not from Him." Jack said as he pushed the needle into me again.

    "AAAAAAAA" I started hyperventilating the pain was so intense. Toby grabbed my hand and looked into my eyes.

    "Hey it's gonna be ok-" another needle stab."AAAAAAAAAA" tears were rolling down my cheeks and I was gasping for air in between sobs.

    *Cough* I wiped the blood from the side of my mouth.

    "Ok I'm done with one side I need to get to the other." Slenderman picked me up and flipped me around so my other side faced Eyeless Jack. He quickly threaded another needle.

    "no no please I just want to-AAAAAAA-rest." He stabbed me with the needle in mid sentence.

    "No you can't rest now Jack needs to stitch you up." Toby pried open my closing eyes. I felt a small pin prick of pain in my side. I groaned. Another pin prick.

    "Uhhh guys she isn't reacting the needle, she can't feel it anymore!!" Toby started freaking out.

    "Don't..worry...Toby...I feel....fine...now..no more...pain." It was getting hard to breath. Eyeless Jack took out some large medical bandages and wrapped my sides up. I looked over to the corner of the room. There stood my mom. She waved at me, and I waved back. Toby turned to see who I was waveing at.

    "Who are you waveing at?" He asked me with concern. I ignored him.

    "One second mom just let this nice man finish wrapping me up." I started to get up. Slenderman pushed me back down. I looked at him.

    "Don't worry I'm not gonna leave. I just want to say hi to my mom. I haven't seen her if forever." I explained but he held me down. My mom started walking towards me.

    "Oh nevermind she's coming to me." I whispered. It was so hard to breath, maby I should just stop. It would be so much easier. I stopped breathing and felt a little bit better.

    "NO YOU AREN'T DIEING ON MY WATCH!" Toby yelled out from beside me. He pushed on my chest. I started breathing. I glared at him.

    "What was that for? Breathing hurts.*Cough* Can I rest now? I'm so tired." *Cough* blood came out of my mouth, but I was too tired to move my hands to wipe it off.

    "No you can't rest now." Eyeless Jack spoke from my side. I felt the bandage he put on me with my hand. It felt smooth and rough at the same time. I looked up, my mom was leaning over me, she started bending over to kiss me. The front door slammed open and someone came running in.

    "NO KAT DON'T LET HER KISS YOU!!" someone vaulted over the couch and pushed my mom away from me. My mom looked hurt.

    "She can't die yet, sorry mom but you'll have to wait." The familiar looking stranger yelled at mom and told her to go away. Mom looked at me and mouthed "I love you" before disappearing into thin air.

    "no mom come back." I whispered. Toby was still right next to my face, looking into my eyes. I looked back at him, his eyes were teary. I lifted up one of my arms and wiped a stray tear off his check. The stranger leaned over my face. He closed my eyes. Thank God! Some rest finally. I opened my eyes when I felt the environment shift. I was in Dad's dream chamber.

    "K!" He ran up to me and hugged me, really tight. I hugged back.

    "In so glad you're alive!" He whispered into me ear. We pulled away.

    "I don't have much time, but just know this, I will never hurt you ever." He kissed my head.

    "I love you K, don't you ever forget that." The dream went dark.

*Toby pov*

    Sean closed Kat's eyes. I gulped did that mean...

    "She's not dead, Zalgo just wants a word with her." Sean informed everyone. He kissed her head than ran out.

    [Who was that?] Slenderman asked.

    "Her brother." I replied not taking my eyes off Kat. Her breathing was faint and I could barely hear it. Slenderman gently picked her up in his arms. She sighed in her sleep and leaned her head against his chest. He walked her up stairs and set her down on her bed. She seemed sad to be let go and whimpered a bit in her sleep. He looked surprised that she missed his presence.

    "We shouldn't touch her for a while." Eyeless Jack stopped Slenderman from picking her up again.

    "I'll keep watch over her tonight. To make sure that she doesn't...die." Eyeless Jack suggested.

    "I'll do it." I volunteered. He shook his head.

    "No. You don't know what to watch out for. I do. You can keep watch when she isn't on the edge of life and death." I was about to argue but Slenderman shook his head. I leaned over and kissed her forehead before waking out.
