*One Month later*

*Kat pov*

    "Let me just check you out and then

you can go home." A bubbly nurse smiled and left the room. My recovery from near death had shocked everyone, except Slendy of course. I still haven't seen Toby but it dosent bother me as much anymore. Jeff was sitting in the chair next to my bed. I was sitting on top with my legs dangling over the side. We waited for a while in silence until the nurse came back.

    "Ok your all good to go!" I jumped off the table and ran down the hallway, into the lobby and out into the world, with Jeff running behind me.

    "Let's go home." He led me over to an alley. We waited for a minute or two before Slendy appeared next to us. He seemed happy. We each grabbed a tentacle as he teleported us back to the slender mansion.

    "KAT!" BEN and Sally jumped off the couch and tackled me in a hug.

    "Hey guys." There was some stomping and rapid foot steps from upstairs and then some crashing as Maskey and Hoodie came falling down the stairs.

    "KAT'S HOME!" They yelled at the same time as they too tackled me. Eyeless Jack was the next one down, closely followed by; Laughing Jack, The Expressionless, Smile, Grin cat, and everyone else. They all surround me, welcoming me back. Everyone was there, except Toby. I didn't care. If Toby wants to be a butt, then I won't stop him. I realized something.

    "Guys, Guys!", everyone quieted down, "I haven't eaten real food in weeks." I ran to the kitchen, stuffing my face with random food items, I didn't care what, as long as it was food. After a while I walked out and went up to my room. I sat down on my bed, sending up a cloud of dust.

    "Bleck!" I tried my best to wipe the dust off. When my bed was covered in less dust I sat down and played on my computer. I heard a knock at my door.

    "Come in!" I glanced at the door to see Toby walking in. I scowled and looked back at my computer.

    "What do you want." I didn't take my eyes from the screen. He closed the door and leaned against it. It was quiet for a while.

    "If your not going to say anything then leave." I snapped. Toby sighed, looking hurt. I didn't take my eyes from the screen.

    "I-I just w-wanted to say, I-I'm sorry." He stuttered. I paused the screen on my computer and turned around to glare at him.

    "I'm sorry? I'm sorry! Toby you broke my heart! Shattered it to pieces! The heart break nearly killed me! Then you disappear for weeks!" I lower my rising voice,"I-I, I love you Toby, and I thought you loved me back, but I guess I was wrong." I turned away from him. Toby left and the tears I had been holding in, came. I put my head down in my pillow to hide my sobs.

*Toby pov*

    I closed the door to Kat's room and walked back to my own. There I sat on my bed wondering why I didn't respond when she told me she liked me. On the inside I had rejoiced when she told me, but in the outside I was still mad at them for kissing. I thought she would never want to see me again, so I only came when she was asleep, watching from the window if the shift was already taken. My door opened and BEN poked his face in.

    "You wanna play videogames?" He gave me a hopeful look. I nodded. Videogames should help me get my mind off Kat.

*Kat pov*

    I heard a knock on my door.

    "Who is it?" I asked once I knew my voice wouldn't betray me.

    "Jeff." He responded as he opened the door and walked in.

    "What's up?" I asked, trying to sound as normal as possible.

    "We're all playing videogames, you should join us." I smiled. The last time we played videogames I was taken to Sandman and Herbert's territory.

    "Don't you rember the last time we played videogames? I'll be there in a sec." I laughed as I closed my computer and Jeff left. I plugged in my computer and walked over to BEN'S room. Videogames should help me forget Toby. I was soo wrong. I walked into the room and saw Toby, Jeff, and BEN getting the game set up. Whatever if I want to play videogames then Toby won't stop me.

    "So what are we playing?" I asked as I grabbed a controller and sat down next to Jeff.

    "Mario Cart." BEN put the game in the console.

    "Are we doing the point system thing again?" I asked as I we choose out our characters.

    "Yep." Jeff replied. I chose Mario, Jeff chose Bowser, BEN chose Luigi, and Toby chose Yoshi. We got to the stage selection screen.

    "Oh do coconut mall!" I yelled out. BEN  shrugged and chose coconut mall. I was going to win this time.

*************Some time later*********

    I lost. Again. BEN and Jeff had tied for first with 12 points each, while I got 11 points and Toby got 10. BEN and Jeff started whispering to eachother and glancing at us. They finally broke apart with huge smiles on there faces.

    "So what do we have to do?" I asked cautiously. Suddenly Jeff grabbed Toby and me by our waists and slung us over one of his shoulders.

    "HEY! PUT ME DOWN!!" I yelled as they ran down stairs and threw us both into a small, dark broom closet.

    "HEY!" I tried to open the door but it was locked.

    "This is your dare, you two have to stay in there for 24 hours." They both started laughing hysterically.

    "And don't try to get help, only we have the key to unlock the door." They both started laughing again. The laughing grew quieter and quieter as they left us. I sat down.

    "Ok this is boring I'm out." I stood up and was about to teleport out when Toby grabbed my hand.

    "Wait! Take me with you, I don't want to be stuck here." I signed.

    "Fine!" I teleported back to my room, takeing him with me. He let go of my hand and walked back to his room.

    "HEY HOW DID YOU GET OUT!!!?" He came running back into my room with BEN and Jeff hot on his tail. They stared in shock at us.

    "We didn't want to do this but now we have no choice." Jeff tossed his knife with practiced excellence and the handle hit me right between the eyes and I blacked out. When I came to I was in the small dark broom closet with Toby tied to me. I wasn't 100% tied to Toby, just our wrists, ankles, and stomachs were tired together. When I get out, heads will roll. I was leaning up against Toby on one of the walls. He was still unconscious.

    "Hey!" I head butted him gently. Nothing.

    "HEY!" I did it harder. He shifted a bit but didn't wake up.

    "EY YO TOBY!" I bashed my head against his. He opened his eyes. He looked confused for a second then he remembered what happened and groaned.

    "This was all Jeff's idea, I know it!" Toby closed his eyes.

    "Why would Jeff....oh." I forgot that Jeff was there when it happened. There were a few minutes of awkward silence.

    "Let's look for a knife or somthing sharp." I nodded. We pushed off the wall and walked around. It was very awkward for me because Toby was the tallest. I couldn't exactly reach the ground. It didn't help that it was nearly pitch black in here. Eventually we found a dagger. Toby cut off our ropes.

    "Yes free at last!" I rubbed my wrists. Toby just leaned against the wall. I looked away and sat down on the floor.

    "M-maby we c-could t-t-teleport?" Toby asked after a while.

    "No I don't want to get caught again. Jeff and BEN might do worse things to us." I shuddered. I didn't want to end up tied to Toby naked or anything like that. Toby nodded.

    "I think Jeff sent us in here so we could 'make up' or whatever." Toby shrugged at my statement.

    "I-is it t-true? Wha-what y-you s-s-said earlier? A-about l-loving m-me?" Toby stuttered. I nodded. Toby got up off the wall and walked over to me, sitting down next to me.

    "Why does that matter?" I asked, putting my head down so he couldn't see the tears forming in my eyes. He was silent for some time. Then I felt him push my chin up. I looked into his face.

    "I-I l-love y-you t-t-to." He was ticking like crazy, but still had his hand under my chin. His fingers would twitch every so often. I suddenly realized that we were both leaning in to eachother. Then we kissed.

A/N

    I'm sorry I had to make Toby a jerk in the first place but from now on he is no longer a jerk.

Kat: So is this what you ment by 'other plans'?

Me: yep

Toby:*comes out of the corner he's been crying in sence last chapter* R-realy? I'm no l-longer a j-jerk?

Me:*nods*

Toby: YES!!!!!!! *fist pumps the air*
