Anger and rage fueled me. Shifting, quickly my bones cracked and morphed. I felt my back press down and being pulled back, as I got on all fours. My legs bent inwards, snapping and falling to the ground. I notice he was doing to same, I saw brown fur sprouting out of his back. I stood tall and proud, taller than most. The necklace enlarged with me, fitting to my body. My fur followed the wind in it's endless journey to nowhere. Midnight, I blended in with the night sky. Some gawked at my height, I was as tall as an alpha. He and I were the same height, although you could see my muscles were more defined.

"No wonder they call her alpha," someone lost in the crowd spoke. They were all watching, but there was only one person I wanted to witness this.

I lunged at him. Full force, he came back at me. Flying through the air, smacking into each other. I grab ahold of him with my paws, pushing him back. He wiggled his way out of my grip. We circled each other. I bared my teeth, threatening him. He came charging, dirt being ripped from the ground. Flying has he got closer. I skidded under him, he fell into the dirt. The once clean were now patch of dried up dirt scattered randomly. I huffed, waiting for him to get up. Looking over at him, I glare then quickly turn back to my appoint.

He breath started to pick up again, heavier and heavier. He charged once more. Fast, if at all possible more furrocious. Drips of blood and drool follow down him fur. I noticed it out of the side of his mouth. I waited patiently. I stood to the side, as he rammed into me. I stumbled, as he stumbled too. I stopped once his was back on his feet, he shook his fur not paying attention to me. He was oblivious that's when I rammed back into him. He body jolted back, slamming into an old oak tree. It cracked, he slid down. His body laid on the ground. I walked over pressing my paw on his chest.

I've won.

He shifted accepting defeat. His human body as tore up as his wolves. Slashes ran across his face, his body was probably no different. He got up from under my paw, more or less I released him. He stood in his full naked glory, but I didn't pay attention nor did I care. "So you won what do you want now, my land, my pack?" he asked standing. His face was crimson red. The cockiness was lost, replaced with a weak and pathetic pup.

Him bowed his head submissively, handing me his position. "No," I state bluntly. I pulled the shirt over my head.

"But you won, not killing me was merciful. At least take my pack," he gestured

My body broke, my neck snapping back into position, my entire body shrunk. Until I was human, or as human as I can be.

"I don't want you pack, I just did this to prove a point," I look over at the king. "So you still think i'm not good enough to help them train, I think we all know that's not true," I look at the alpha king, he was smirking. Arms folded over his chest, he said nothing. So I walk away I just need a minute, I headed back to my room.

Just before I passed him, "You went easy on him didn't you," he latched onto my arm.

"I told you I just did this to prove a point," I continued walking, then I stopped turning back to the alpha. "You pathetic," I turned and smirked.

I went upstairs, I had to get out of these clothes. I smelled like a boy, I sniffed it once more. I hate his smell. I ripped it off of me, it fell on the floor. I went to take a shower, to get the sweat and blood off me.

Once I got out I put on bland clothing. I didn't I wasn't in the mood to try. I felt like spending the rest of the day in my room, I grabbed a book. And started to read. But there was something stopping, an eerie feeling that didn't sit right. What's going to happen now, are we going to get kicked out? I couldn't tell whether that was a good thing or not. I let go of the book and it falls onto my face, my hands fall with it."I'm messing everything up," mumble into the book.

The intercom button rang, with a whistling tune. I walk to press the down holding the button. "Yes," I answer in a monotone.

"The Alpha King would like to see you in his office," I grown once the call ended. I should just pack my bags now. I walk out my room and down the endless flights of stairs. I near the door, I stop to look at it. To prolong the time, to not hear those that are just dancing on his tongue. I look at how the wood caves in little steps. The cherry oak, faint lines of brown hidden among the red.

"I can smell you Daniella, come in," I huffed, opening the door.

"Just get it over with, I know my... 'pack' has brought nothing but violence. So just get it over with," my hand drop to my sides.

"What-," I didn't let him continue.

"Yeah we're a nuisance, we'll leave but we're not helping in the war," I turn to walk out. But he stopped me.

"What are you talking about, you're not leaving anytime soon. Whether you want to or not." He stole a pause, "But, maybe I was wrong," he looked stern his straight face never faltered.

"What?" I start, then I heard the second part of what he said, "What!" my eyes were bulging out of their sockets.

He continued. "I think you deserve an alpha position, you can also help train wolves. I see what you are doing with them, and I see where they get it from," he finished.

"So when's my coronation?" I ask.

"Next week," he answered. "Now I need to take care of some business now go,"

I walked out of his office. I closed the door satisfied. I almost jumped in excitement, me an official alpha. The smiled could not be pried off of me.

His office was nearby the dining hall, dinner was starting soon. I could I started walking down the corridor. I couldn't even fully enter the hall without an disturbance.

"You fight well, the others can learn something from you," Max finished.

"Huh... great, thank you," I tried to keep it short and sweet. I tried to brush right past windpipe. "Can't you see I don't give a shit," I hold a few feet in the air. His hand clawing for me to release him. I noticed everyone was watching, I didn't care. "Why do I have to keep telling you, I don't care that we're mates. I don't feel anything, and soon you won't either, but for now if you come near me one more time I will snap your neck," I look back to everyone, "If you keep this up we'll all be rogues," I slowly lower him. "If anyone messes with my pack again I will kill your beta, then your alpha and you'll all be worthless mutts!" I held on to each word, as my eyes turned red. I wasn't even going to eat dinner, I walked away.

What is with everyone today? I took a breath, I could feel my heart slow. I couldn't believe my outburst. What is going on with me today? The moment I said that I couldn't help but to look down at my necklace.
