Death Is A Welcome Distraction
My feet led me out the door, past my puzzled family looking at Ginny in confusion.
Everything reminded me of Fred.
I ran to our camping shed and began to stuff a bag full of necessities.
Tent. Me and Fred had come up with a couple of joke shop products during our time in there.
Lamp. Me and Fred had created a giant fire dragon that breathed fire from that small bit of flame.
Blankets. When me and Fred were younger, we would bury ourselves in blankets and pretend we were in different lands filled to the brim with pranksters.
Finally, I yanked the door opened to leave, sick of the memories.
"George thank goodness! The book isn't what everyone thought. I know that you don't want to but we have to kill Fred!" Harry Potter exclaimed urgently.
Hermione stood behind the great hero with the tattered paper recover and a repressed sob in her throat.
I gave a solemn fake grin and shoved past them muttering, "He's taken care of for now."
Hermione was persistent though and followed after me.
"George you can't just hold him somewhere!
He needs to be set free!
It's cruel to keep him alive just for him to suffer and,
GEORGE!!"
I slammed the door to our house in their faces.
