"Get off of me!" You yelled at Zane. Zane laughs," Now, now, don't wanna start trouble, or your wounded friend will get hurt." He said it with such spite in his voice, you flinched. You turn towards Aaron, still pinned. He didn't look back at you, he was curled into a ball of pain and blood. You face back to Zane," Please, you now have me, let him go." Zane grinned. "Oh, sweetheart, that's not how it works, we need him for luring you into my command." Zane summoned his guards. They lifted Aaron up and he grunted in agony. His eyes were half closed, but they were still looking at you. His dark eyes couldn't be more hopeful. How could he be hopeful in a state like that?
Without moving his lips, he was saying Don't obey him.
Zane finally got off, but only to send guards to hold you. One guard on each arm, and one behind you. You tried to fight, but their grasp just got tighter. You take one last look behind you towards Aaron. A guard was hovered over him, with a sword to the back of his neck. "Get up and walk!" The guard yelled, forcing his sword into Aaron's neck. Aaron growled and tried to stand. He fell right back down.
The guard kicked him hard. Aaron let out another grunt. You struggled with getting free to help, but it was useless. Aaron can barely stand, let alone walk.
"Zane! Please, please... Just let Aaron heal, please I'll do anything!" You plead. Zane stops walking from his spot in front, and everyone behind him stops, including the guards dragging you. Aaron mumbles," (y/n),...no.." You ignore him. He doesn't look back at you, but Zane snaps," Ugh, fine." With a wave of his hand, Aaron his magically healed. Aaron fumbles getting up, then is put into chains. You couldn't look him in the eyes. You disobeyed him.
Zane makes everyone trek into the forest, no horses or anything. If you weren't so worried about what is going on, you would have taken in the fact that your feet were dying.
You, Zane, Aaron, and about one and a half dozen guards had been walking for hours. And you seemed to be the only one bothered by all the exercise. Must be that I ran like 10 miles to Phoenix drop..
You also wondered what is going to happen to that village. Zane did just up and leave after you arrived, so is he going to leave them alone? Oh, I hope so... And I hope Aaron doesn't hate me, but I did save his life, right? You sigh.
