The article „Der Rassismus ist allgegenwärtig" written by Jurik Casper Iser and Johanna Roth and published by „Zeit-Online"on the 7th of June 2020 addresses racial discrimination within America and how it's affecting the lives of blacks.

Since the last couple of weeks, people be protesting on the streets against police violence and thus for the lives of blacks.

That people of color are disadvantaged can be justified by many studies, which were made to indicate how different white and black people get treated in their everyday life. Concerning the household income, it has been proven that black people have a significantly lower income than white people. Though, this can be justified by the fact that people of color do not have a high qualification and accordingly do not have a well-paid job. In contrast to white teenagers - who are well-paid - black teenagers get paid worse, which again stresses the contrast between whites and blacks. The biggest difference provides the capitals white and black families own. While white people own 171.000Dollar a year, black families own only a tenth of this sum. This isn't only increasing the gap between rich and poor but also proves the unfairness towards black people. Efforts to reduce this difference failed. Also, since the coronavirus become a part of our lives – it also brought about negative effects within society, especially for black people. The number of unemployers increased within the black community, in particular black women. They are not only become unemployed due to tot the coronavirus but also become homeless. The probability of whites becoming homeless concerns only a tenth, whereas it affects more than the half of black people.

Moreover, the penal system is being criticized for its racial acts. Black men for instance are more likely to be arrested, in particular black women. The drug addiction of black people can't be seen as a valid substantiation, since the probability of whites to be drug-addicted is as high as the ones of blacks. According to the text, black people are most likely to infect themselves with the virus due to tot the inability to finance medical supplies. So that the death rate of blacks is higher.Among other things also because of their workplace, which cant be done at home.
