Alya's POV

What was happening?!

First Adrien asks Nino and I to help him catch a villain— and we start to think he's gone a little insane because he wants to defeat a super villain— and now, he says he's Chat Noir!

THE CHAT NOIR!

Was I that blind that the cat superhero himself sat right in front of me and my best friend? How did I not see the similarities before? Blonde hair, green eyes, sometimes cocky personality. How could I have been so stupid and oblivious?!

"Well," Adrien trailed off, sheepishly. "I may or may not have been the cause of the situation."

My eyes widened in complete horror. And without even looking at Nino, I'm sure his eyes had widened as well.

Adrien caused this problem?!

"What?!" I narrowed my eyes at him angrily. "You— the superhero— caused an akuma?!"

"I..." he hesitated to say.

"Well?" Nino spoke up, urging him to continue.

"It wasn't my fault," Adrien finally blurted out. "It was an accident."

An accident?

Is it just me or does that sound like some lame excuse?

"What did you do?" I asked, narrowing my eyes at him as I crossed my arms.

He sighed, defeated. "Look... I um... didn't know Ladybug's indentity at the time, but I still loved her. But... when Marinette told me she liked me, I–I... just... I never admitted it, but I actually have always... kinda well... maybe have liked Marinette."

Huh?

He LIKED Marinette?!

How does this even make sense?

He just admitted he loved Ladybug!

Stupid banana boy!

"Wait... you like Marinette? But you rejected her feelings." I said, my eyes furrowing in confusion.

"I know, I know what I said." Adrien rubbed the back of his neck. "It was stupid... I know."

"Why'd you reject her then?" Nino asked, interjecting.

"Because," He sighed, "I thought my feelings for Ladybug were stronger. I had trouble deciding which girl I loved more. But, now I realize that..." He trailed off, as if he was contemplating on what to say next.

"That what?" Nino questioned, eager to hear what Adrien was going to say next.

Adrien exhaled shakily. "...that I love both."

You love both Adrien?

Seriously?!

I mentally slapped myself at his stupidity.

"Adrien, I hate to break it to you," I crossed my arms. "But, if you ever want to have a relationship with either one of them, you can't love them both romantically."

It was almost as if he smirked at me before he replied, "Unless they're the same girl."

*SCREAMing in the background*

"What the heck are you doing Dippy?! Making Adrien smart!! He's been such an idiotic dweeb this whole entire book and now is when you decide to give him a brain?!"

*Pats the air with hands* "Okay overly dramatic reader... would you prefer Nino be the oblivious one?"

"Um...."

*rubs hands together evilly* "Hehe. I like that idea of mine."

*eyes widen at realization* "Although I must say, not many changes will need to be made."

Haha... poor Nino.

If you're not that overly dramatic reader, don't worry about it.
Only some people, like myself, think that Adrien should shut his little trap.

I am bored with my life so why not talk to myself?
