girl meets farkle's choice

"HI, I'M Riley Matthews, and these are your John Quincy Adams middle school morning announcements." She said.

She was practicing for the announcements.

"Why are you even rehearsing?" Sophia asked.

"I'm going to get it perfect this time." She said.

"And you're on." The boy said.

"Hewo, I'm Miley Flatshoes and these are your flurning amousenits." She said.

Maya laughed.

"Today's lunch in the cafamatorium will be hot males."

"Hello, news lady!" Farkle said.

"Carpool!"

"Far-"

Maya laughed, "Carpool?!"

"And here's your Farkle science moment." Farkle said, "The Junior Entomology Society has once again nominated me for a Buggie Award for my research paper on the orange dancing spider."

"Congrats, Dr. Farklestein." Sophia said.

"I hope this is your year." Maya told him.

"Oh, I never win." He said.

Sophia sighed, "Awesome."

"Wish I could go, but I don't wanna and I'm sure tickets are impossible." Maya said.

"I have two."

"Then I just don't wanna." She said.

"Awesome."

"Which one of you will be Farkle's choice?" He asked, "I'm telling the world. Farkle must finally choose between his sweet angel whose smile lights a path to goodness or my dark demon who unleashes in me something so terrifying I really wanna know what it is or the smiling angel demon who is colorful yet scary."

"Thanks, and I'm not gonna be there when you find out, Carpool." Maya said.

"And there it is, John Quinciatti.
Flankle juices bequeen yama, sofa and symelf." Riley said.

Maya laid down on the floor and laughed.

History: Mr. Matthews

"Who's the greatest ally of the United States?" Mr. Matthews asked, "Farkle?"

"I'd like to help you, sir, but I got a lot of things on my mind." He said.

"Are you tense, Farkle? Is it Buggie Award season?"

"Yes, and I know that once I've chosen between Riley, Sophia, and Maya for the dinner, I'll actually be letting the other two go."

"I'll go. I'll go right now."
Maya said.

"I think it will be sad when Farkle doesn't love us both the same." Riley said.

"Yes, two of you will be crushed.
You will, however, receive the Farkle home game as a consolation prize." He said.

"Ooh, what's that?" Riley asked.

"It's this game where the loser goes, "Farkle."" He said.

"So who is the greatest ally of the United States?" Mr. Matthews asked.

"Ask Farkle." Sarah said.

"Canada." He said.

He stood up, "You want me to say Canada. You want to explain why or do I have to do everything?"

"Everything. You love that." Mr. Matthews said.

"Look, I really want one of you at the Buggies with me to pick me up when I lose again to my archnemesis Smackle." He said.

"Smackle?" Sophia asked.

As previously stated, Sophia used to like Smackle but it disappeared after a while.

"What kind of parents name their kid "Smackle," Farkle? Oh." Riley said.

"It's just interesting that all of our thoughts turn to other allies first when Canada is right next to us.
Perhaps it's because we know they'll always be there for us that we take them for granted." Mr. Matthews said.

"Farkle, I'm going to make the ultimate sacrifice and let you go with Riley or Sophia."

"Yeah, well, I'm going to make the ultimate sacrifice and let you go with Maya or Sophia."

"How about you leave me out of this. Then I'll make the ultimate sacrifice and let you go with Maya or Riley."

"I decide! You hear me? This game is Farkle's choice." He said, "Prepare to go through the emotional gauntlet of love."

"Okay."

Train Station

Farkle had taken the three out on a "trial date".

"Thank you for my smoothie." Riley said.

"Extra thick so you can eat it with a spoon." Farkle told her.

"You know me very well." She laughed.

"That giggle is my favorite sound in the world. I know I've told you I've loved you since the first grade, but I don't think I've ever told you why." He said.

"Farkle."

"Hold that thought." He said.

He rolled towards Maya.

"Have a little pretzel with your mustard, Maya. I know how you like it."

"I'm eating this, then I'm leaving." She said.

"My eighth birthday party."

"Don't remember it at all."

"Bing!" He said.

He pulled out a skateboard.

"You kept this?" She asked.

"You tried to do a kick-flip off the park bench. You were not ready for those moves."

"Still got the scar."

"It was the only time I've ever seen you cry."

"Why did you keep this?"

"It was the only time I've ever seen you cry."

"Farkle."

He finally rolled over to Sophia.

"It's finally my turn, your smiling sweet little angel demon is ready for whatever you have, but it will not make me smile." She said.

"It won't?"

"It won't."

He pulled out a box and she sat her pizza down.

"See I'm not smiling."

"Open it."

She looked at him and down at the box.

She carefully opened it.

"Where did you get this?"

It was stuff the Maya, Riley, Farkle, and Sophia buried when she turned was six. It had her dad's watches and patches, she had some of her mom's stuff in there too.

Sophia looked and saw a drawing that they all drew together and a picture.

It was Sophia and Farkle.

He was down on one knee.

"We buried it."

"Where was it?"

She honestly had forgotten about the box until now.

"The park, I went back with my dad and got it."

"You had it all this time?"

"I was waiting for the right time to give it to you."

"Farkle-"

He rolled back to Riley.

"Have you been seeing someone else?" Riley asked.

"There's only you." He said.

"Don't think it's going to be so easy to get me all emotional over some little object that shoots me down memory lane." She said.

"Bing." He said.

He pulled out a hippo.

"Hazel the hippo. You're alive! You gave me this when you sat with me in the hospital when I had my tonsils out. I lost her and never had the heart to tell you. How did you know?" She asked.

"I bought two of them, you know, just in case, you lost the one I gave you." He said.

"Thank you, Farkle."

"Thank you, Farkle."

"Thank you, Farkle."

The three girls looked at each other, "Are you speed-dating us?"

"Welcome to what's going on! As you know, being nominated for a Buggie is the highlight of my life." He said.

"We realize that." Sophia told him.

"I wanna share my happiness with someone special if I win, and if I lose, I want someone who cares about me to be there. So I wanna make sure I make the right choice. Thank you for a lovely evening."

He smiled at them and went on his way.

"Wow." Riley said, "He's paying the bill."

"I should've eaten more." Sophia said.

Three boys approached the girls.

"Hey, yo, you still hungry? 'Cause, we're gonna get some pizza, so we're thinking-" One of them started but Maya cut him off.

"Stop thinking it's not you."

"What's she mean by that?" One of the other boys asked.

"What my brothers Sheldon and Barry don't understand is that because of our demeanor, you think that we're a couple of oafs." The tallest one said.

"Is this true?" Sheldon asked.

"I'm afraid so, Sheldon." Maya said.

"Oafs?!" The two asked.

"We are sorry to hear that." The tall one said.

"What's the other two think, Cisco?" Barry asked.

"You should find out by asking." Cisco said.

"What do you think other two?" Barry and Sheldon asked.

They stood in the girl's face.

"I think you're way too close." Riley said.

"Your breath smells like dog food." Sophia told Sheldon.

"And what are you gonna do about that?" Cisco asked.

"I'm going to make sure your, not the only bad dogs going to the pound." Sophia said.

The boy stood closer towards her and looked at her in her face.

"Do it."

Before anything else could happen Farkle walked up.

"I may not look so tough, and I don't say "yo," but I'm insane when it comes to these three, so what you're gonna do is run down the platform screaming until you reach Broadway." Farkle said.

"I just don't see us screaming until Broadway." Cisco said.

"Who do you think you are anyway?" The other two asked.

"Oh, me?" Farkle asked.

He pulled a spider out of his pocket.

The three boys ran away.

"I'm Canada. A little taken for granted, but I'm always there for you." He said.

He knocked on the table and walked away.

"You know what? I've decided to go with Farkle." Riley said.

"You don't have to. I'm going." Maya said.

"I said I'm going." Riley said.

"Actually I'm going with Farkle."

"I will mess you up."
Maya said.

"Then I will clean me up."

"No one can beat me, I'm the smiling angel demon."

"Riley, Sophia, what are we doing? Are we really fighting over Farkle?" Maya asked.

Sophia looked over her shoulder and saw Farkle standing there.

"Yeah, and I'm gonna win." Riley said.

"It's on, Hopeman, Matthews."

John Quincy Adams Middle School

Maya, Sophia, and Riley sat on top of the bench in the hallway.

"So did you text him last night?" Sophia asked.

"No. We agreed not to." Maya said, "Farkle's choice, remember?"

"Did you video chat?" She asked Riley.

"Absolutely not. We agreed to do nothing to influence him."

"Did you ask Farkle to come to your place?" Riley asked Sophia.

"Nope. Farkle's choice, Farkle way, Farkle chooses."

"That's the deal." Maya said.

"Ladies." Farkle said.

"Farkle." They said in a "flirtatious" voice.

"Thanks for the text, Maya."

Riley nudged Sophia causing her to push Maya.

"I enjoyed the video chat, Riley."

Sophia stood up and sat on the other side of Riley.

Maya pushed Riley backwards.

"I also liked the cake your Nana made me Sophia."

Riley grabbed Sophia's arm and pulled her down.

"But I'm gonna need some time to myself to make this difficult choice." He said.

"And Maya, Sophia, and I agreed we would do nothing to influence your decision." Riley said.

The two of them stood up.

"Yeah." Sophia muttered.

They walked towards the lockers.

"Lookie what I found." Maya said.

Maya pulled the spider out of her locker.

Sophia wasn't afraid of spiders, but Riley on the other hand.

"You forgot to scream." Sophia told her.

"Thank you." She said.

She screamed and ran off.

"An Arizona blonde tarantula." Farkle said.

"Well, of course."

"You can't do this, Maya!" Riley shouted from the top of the stairs.

"What I love about this species, it's the perfect mate for my orange dancing spider." He said.

He pulled his spider out of his locker.

"Yeah."

"This is completely unfair." Riley said.

"Look at these two."

"So vastly different and yet so wonderful together."

"Well, of course."

"They seem to really- She bit his head off! Oh my heaven! She bit his head off!" He shouted.

"Just like our lives are gonna be together."

"I don't know whether to laugh or scream." Sophia said.

"No." Riley said, "Maya and Sophia are not the only ones who likes spiders, okay? I happen to love them too."

"Really?" Sophia asked.

"Then you would have no problem if I put this spider on your head and you wore it like a hat?" Maya asked.

"A hat, you say?" She questioned.

Maya placed the spider on her head.

"I know this is out of your comfort zone, Riley. I'm really impressed you would do this for me." Farkle said, "Yeah, I still can't decide who I'm bringing to the Buggies. You all are still even."

"Hi, dad, this spider is laying her eggs in my brain." She said.

"Yeah, okay."

Later that night

Maya and Sophia knew Riley would do something to affect Farkle's choice so they went to her window.

They saw Farkle and Riley talking.

The two of them slammed on the window.

"Ignore those big birds." She said.

"Our bay window!" They shouted.

They couldn't open it.

"Locked! Ha." She said.

The two crawled on the other side where the window was opened.

"How did you do that?" She asked.

"You tried to lock us out of your room?" Sophia asked.

"Not cool."

"You're interrupting my alone time with Farkle?" She asked, "Not cool!"

"You're actually fighting over me?!" Farkle said, "Cool! Except you're fighting and it's my fault. Can one of you tell me why you'd even want to go with me to the Buggie Awards?" He asked.

The three of them said nothing.

"Yeah. Well, I can tell you why I've always loved you both. I can't think of one of you without thinking of the three of you. I withdraw my offer. I'd rather go alone than hurt my three best friends. That's my choice." He said.

He crawled out the window.

"Not cool." Riley said.

"What is this feeling?" Maya asked.

"Awfulness." Riley answered.

"We're ruining the greatest night of Farkle's life." Sophia said.

"We actually let him come between us." Maya said.

"We did." Riley said.

"How could we ever fight about that?" She asked.

"Because he's great." Sophia said.

"So great." Maya said.

"For the rest of our lives, let's never settle for anyone less than Farkle." Riley said holding both of our hands.

Buggy Awards

After an eventful two hours in Riley's closet, they made it just in time for Farkle.

"No, you're not." The three said.

"Whoa! Three of 'em, huh? Playa!" Jane Lynch said, "Okay, the National Junior Entomology Society is pleased to award the Golden Buggie to Smackle!"

The four of them were heading towards the door.

"This should be the happiest moment of my life, except these girls of middling intellect are interrupting it." Smackle said.

"Oh, us? We're Canada." Maya said.

"We're his greatest allies." Riley said.

Sophia smiled, "He sits right next to us and we'll never take him for granted again."

"Oh, Canada we stand on guard for thee!" They sang.

They headed out the door with a smile on their face.

John Quincy Adams Middle School

"Morton, John Quintaneros.
It is me, Siley Cashews. What a leak it has been, right, Yama and Sofa?" Riley asked, "Somebody has some sage trite. Anyday, flanken may have lost his boogies, but curtainly won far tarts."

Maya died with laughter she looked like she had to pee herself.

Riley messing up her lines per usual.

Sophia sat there looking dazed and severely red.

This life thing was doing them just fine.

"Unbelievable."

"I think they're prefect."
