chapter 16 

Derrick Pov

I set at the lunch table looking around for Sylvia I wounder why she didn't come today? And to speak of it where the heck is my sister . lunch time my sister didn't I glace up to see Carter and Justin come take a seat beside me.

"what up man where's Ally Justin asked"
I shurgged "she didn't come today poping the tatter tot into my mouth. " neither did Sylvia I say.

"I tried to call her but she didn't answer Justin cut in, yeah I tried to Carter says now texting at his phone.

He was starting to get on my last nerves, my sister is everything to me and no guy is going to play her like a dime and put her back on the shelf,  "Carter" I say, not realizing that I used my Alpha voice.

The phone still in his hand eyes wide. " if you not texting Ally then  put that  phone down.

He looks at me and put the phone down,

"if you don't wont  to be with my sister then you should tell her, don't have her walking around here crying over you, she's a good person and she doesn't understand us. She's human." I didn't realize that i was almost over the table into Justin grabbed me.

I could see the fear in Carters eyes,  looking at me without saying another word, I sigh  claming down.

"your hurting her being with Joyce, i had to ask it was inching at me.

"why did you reject her I asked him, and I tell you that Carter looked  like a deer in headlights,
So I continues, "That day when she mind linked you, I knew it then she's not one of us, so I know she's your Mate. My voice has gone to a whisper.
"why." I asked Carter, not knowing what I was asking.

He was now looking down before he looked me dead in the eye. Was he challengeing me.

"I don't love her he" spoke load and clear,he didn't even bat a eye lashes and just like that he got up and left, leaving me and Justin staring at each other.
