After assuring Ro Mahi took Samaira to the kitchen to fetch water for her. Sam relaxed a bit in Mahi 's arms and was observing what he was doing. After taking a feeder and filling it with warm water Mahi went and settled near the large window on the couch and made Samaira drink the water... He looked at the girl giving him looks like admiration and love.

Mahi : Tum sach mein mere Ro ki tarah ho.. vahi aanken vahi gaal..

Sam started giggling listening to Mahi

Mahi : You know your dad was my first kid. He was the first one to make me realise that I can become a big brother too.. Someone can look up to me as I look at Dada.. He was so nervous when he came into the team and I felt as if I want to take him in my shield and protect him from the whole world.. Till then I was the younger one be it in my house or in the team but when my Ro came I became the elder brother.. I've never told anyone that Ro is my first kid and also the closest to me.. Vi is very close too but when he is sad and depressed I feel like motivating him giving him strength.. but when it's Ro I can't stand him being sad and broken.. Tumhe pata hai mein kisi ke bhi aason dekh sakta hun par bas tere papa ka nahi ... himmat hi nahi hoti uske paas jaake usko bolu ki Ro sab theek hojayega... My Ro is the sweetest person... usne kabhi mujhse Kuch sawal nahi kiya..... tabh bhi nahi kiya jab usko 2011 ke world cup team mein usko nahi liya ya tabhi nahi kiya jab meine Virat ko vice captain banaya.... mera Ro sirf he samajhta hai ki uska Mahi bhai galat kabhi nahi ho sakta...

Mahi was getting emotional and was chocking.. seeing him Sam kept her tiny hands on his face and gave a toothless grin..

Mahi : When your dad was not performing well when he was in a bad phase I did not let him go out of the team.. everyone in the management were against me selecting Ro but I fought with everyone and backed my Ro.... tumhe pata hai voh log poochte the ki "MS why are you backing Rohit even when he is not performing?" Par mein jaanta tha mera Ro sabse achaa hai bas usko chodna nahi... voh log nahi jante the mera Ro kitna achaa khelta hai ye sirf mein hi jaanta hun... ab dekha tumhare papa sabse achee batsman hai... aaj jab sab Ro ke bare mein bolte hai to Dil ko itni Khushi milti hai....

Seeing Mahi beaming with pride Samaira started clapping her hands...

Mahi : Baki sare jo bandar join hue team mein... tumhare chachuuuss... sare ke saare bandar tho hai par saare bohot achee.. sab aake tumhe hi dekhna chahte the par sabse pehle mein aagaya..

Mahi made a ticklish action and Samaira started chuckling in delight..

Mahi : Ro is my first kid ... he's so special for me... tum uske bachee ho Sammy uske jaise hi ho.... I promise you I'll always be there for you.. whenever you want me you'll find me next to you.. mein jaanta Hun ab tere baad aur bhi chote chote bache ayenge hamari family mein.. I'll promise the same things to them too because I love everyone equally but YOU ARE SPECIAL..... VERY SPECIAL..

Samaira though did not understand what Mahi was speaking but she did understand the emotion... no one can miss that warm loving look Mahi was giving to Sammy.. She understood too so Sammy just gave a grin and kept her head on Mahi's chest. 

Mahi was so happy seeing he became close to this lil angel and he kissed gently on her forehead.. He is sure he can do anything in this world to make her happy.

The next day Ritika woke up and saw a sleeping Ro beside her and no trace of Sam in their room. Confused she started looking for her everywhere and finally saw Mahi and Sammy sleeping on the couch. 

She felt the scene so adorable that she wanted to freeze the time but it is not in her hands so she did what was in her hands. She ran back to her room brought her phone and clicked few pictures. She can capture the moment right!!. 

Hearing the click of the camera Mahi woke up from his slumber and saw a grinning Ritika..

Ritika : Good morning Mahi bhai!

Mahi : Good morning... Why were you taking a picture?

Ritika plopped beside him and told in an excited tone

Ritika : You both were looking adorable so I captured it in my phone.. (Mahi smiled seeing her explaining like that)... Aapko pata hai Ro was so worried about Sam being cranky with new people. He was thinking Sammy would behave like that with you guys also. Par mein bol rahi thi aisa Kuch nahi hoga.. because you guys are family not outsiders right?

Mahi : Right! You are more intelligent than My Ro Rits!

Ritika : You tell this in front of Ro naa

Mahi started laughing....

Ritika : Achaa you go and freshen up I'll take Sammy with me... aaj aap yahi ho Ro ko aap hi utha lena... aaj mein nahi uthane wali usko

Mahi smiled at her and gently passed Samaira to her and went to his room.

He did not feel bad when CSK lost to MI in the finals. Infact he was happy seeing his Ro playing with Sammy in the field.. No one would miss the serine smile on Mahi's face after loosing..

After the match when the whole bunch of hooligans camped in Rohit's house and Virat and Harry were arguing over being Sammy's favourite chachu... 

Mahi smiled when Sammy giggled seeing her chachus arguing over her from his arms... 

A voice in his head told him.. You are going to be her favourite... and that gave rise to a happy wave passing through his heart.....
