Recap : Shekhar and Dev's conversation. Nandini doesn't know where Manik is taking her....

Nandini is sitting beside Manik worriedly as she is getting late for the college. But when she saw the place where Manik parked his bike she became very happy

Nandini happily : "You could have told me that we are going to Sona di's home"

Manik : "Why should I say? You found that the way is not of your college. Then why can't you find this is the way to Sona's home?"

Nandini : "No... I didn't. I was tensed about getting late for the college"

Manik didn't wait for her to reply and went inside the home.

Inside Sonakshi's home....

Sharmila is serving breakfast for her husband while he is reading newspaper.

She saw Manik and Nandini coming inside.

Sharmila : "Manik!....Nandini dear....come come...come inside"

Rajeev also welcomed them with smile.

Rajeev : "How are you Manik ? How is your studies going?"

Manik : "Yeah Mamu. Studies are going well.. Did Sahil went to college? Mom told Sona has fever.....Did you take her to a good doctor?"

Sharmila smiled at Rajeev seeing his care for Sonakshi.

Rajeev proudly : "Hey Manik! I myself is a specialist. You are talking about good doctor. Who will come and treat my daughter when I am there to treat her"

Manik teasingly : "Yeah..yeah very special"

Rajeev glared Manik : "Hey Manik! Till now all the surgeries done by me are successful"

Manik again teasingly : "I too....told the same meaning Mamu"

Rajeev : "I know you teased me.....Okay leave that. Now come and have breakfast.... You will like your bua's cooking right?"

Manik : "No Mamu. You eat. Just now we had our breakfast"

Sharmila : "Okay sit.. I will bring coffee"

Manik : "No bua.....My stomach is full. You give whatever to your daughter. Dadi even scolded her this morning that she didn't eat breakfast properly"

Nandini immediately : "No..no I don't want... I ate breakfast properly"

Sharmila hiding her laughter, .... with serious face : " I found that you both are afraid to eat my breakfast, right?"

All chuckled knowing Sharmila's fake anger!

Rajeev enquired Manik about Raj's business. Manik too patiently answered him.

Rajeev : "What Nandini? You are very silent since you came....Are you angry on your Dad?"

Nandini : "What Dad! Why should I be angry on you.....You were talking something important. So I kept quiet....Where is sona di? Is she sleeping?"

Sharmila : "No dear. Now only she had her breakfast and went to her room."

Nandini : "Okay Mom!"

Then Manik and Nandini went to Sonakshi's room.

Author's Note :

Nandini used to call Rajeev and Sharmila as Mom and Dad. Because as I said already What sonakshi says....Nandini adopts it and follows it

Nandini knows very well that Raj and Nyonika are not their parents. The reason is our very own Manik who never left any chance in pinpointing that she is an orphan and Raj and Nyonika are his parents.

Manik used to say : "My parents are not your parents. You don't have parents at all. They are dead...."

As Manik grows.....he stopped saying that!

Manik till now didn't even ask to Nyonika about Nandini like who is she? where are her parents? He once got to know from his dadi (Kalyani) that she is the daughter of Nyonika's friend ....His anger for Nandini reduced over years. But he used to always tease her.....make her cry....

Sonakshi saw Manik and Nandini at her room entrance.

Sona : "Hey! Are you people crazy? What you both are doing here? "

Manik : "Hmmm. Someone told me that a monkey living here is not well. So we came her to take it to a veterinary doctor"

Sona for one second nodded her head without understanding . Manik and Nandini chuckled.

Sona understood and angrily : "Hey you crazy man....I am not in a mood to argue.....I am so tired...Yesterday night I had fever of 104 degree celcius...Sahil only looked after me all the night. Do you know that?"

Manik : "Is it? Sahil looked after you all over the night? It's very surprising....Doesn't it Nandini?"

Nandini don't know what to answer. Nandini likes Sahil very much. She doesn't want to let down him in front of Manik.

Manik looked at her and chuckled understanding her situation.

Nandini : "Di! Is bhai not at home?"

Sona : "He went to college today early itself....I feel pity for him. He didn't sleep even for a second"

Manik : "Sona Sona....enough.... I can't bear it...The fact that he looked after you is itself surprising me. Now you are praising him.....I will drown in surprises now....My small heart will not bear more than this... it will burst.....If I came to know that you will be saying all this....I wouldn't have come here.."

Sona : "Let it be........Nandini and you came together. Now it's very surprising for me. What's the matter?.....Hey Nandini! I thought you will be in college"

Nandini looked at Manik.

Manik : "Mom told me to take Nandini to college......I don't feel good without seeing you...That's why I came here straight from the home....Now, how are you?"

Saying this Manik kept his back side of palm on Sona's forehead. Sona body is still burning in fever.

Manik : "Fever is still there...Did you take the tablet now?"

Sona : "Not yet....Now only I had my breakfast....I don't like to eat tablet itself. Even I feel like vomiting thinking about the tablet"

Saying this Sonakshi made faces.

Manik sternly : "Where is the tablet?"

Sona knowing Manik's anger showed the table on which tablets are kept.

Manik took the tablets and looked for water in the room. But it was not there.

Manik to Nandini sternly : "What are you looking here and there? Go and get warm water from Bua"

Nandini rushed out of the room.

Sona : "Hey! Why are you always threatening her? I feel very pity on her. She is quiet and only doing her things. But you are always torturing her...."

Manik : "Where did I threaten her? Is it wrong to ask to get some water?"

Sona : "If you are keep on threatening her like this, then...."

She stopped seeing Nandini entering her room.

Manik got water from her.

Manik : "Now open your mouth"

Sona : "Am I looking like a baby to you.... Give that to me"

Saying this Sonakshi took tablets from his hand and ate it making faces.

Manik : "Okay now.. Take rest....If it gets late more than this....she will start to cry"

Saying this he looked at Nandini.

Manik to Nandini : "Come..Let's go" Nandini nodded.

Nandini : "Di!...Take care of yourself. Sleep well. I will call you in evening"

Sona : "Okay Nandini....In evening, don't stop anywhere and get back to home on time. Okay?"

Sona to Manik : "Manik! Can you drop Nandini home from college in evening too?"

Manik : "What? Evening too? ....No chance. You and Mom only made her this much scared and frightened....You both are keeping her on your heads....Then how will it become a habit for her....No one will be there to look after her all the time!"

Nandini : "Di! Don't worry about me...I will come to home safely. Navya is there na..."

Manik : "Can you see the Madam's courage.....She now too seeks the help of Navya....She is a college student. Still she needs someone by her side....If this situation continues...then how she will go to the job......Then for what purpose she have to study? She can sit in the home, eat and sleep"

Hearing again Manik's acussations...Nandini started to cry.

Manik : "See...she started...Whatever say...she will start to cry immediately"

Hearing this Nandini started to cry heavily.

Sonakshi glared Manik .

Sonakshi sternly : "Nandini! Now for what are you crying?.....That's why he is teasing you....He is only saying that you should be brave....Don't I told you that you should not cry like this for silly things. First wipe your tears"

Nandini wiped her tears.

Nandini sobbingly : "Di! I too trying to be brave only....But I can't.....I am scared.....That boys....."

Nandini stopped saying and bited her tongue for blurting it out and started looking here and there.

Manik narrowed his eyes and looked and Nandini

Manik : "What you told now?....What boys?.....Why you stopped in between....Tell me fully!"

Nandini looked at Sonakshi for help.

Sonakshi : "Nothing serious Manik.....When we go to college...the boys present there will tease the girls. She is saying that only"

Manik : "Your college boys?"

Sonakshi : "Yes....our college boys only"

Sonakshi continued : "It is an usual happening in every college Manik. But she is taking it as a big this and getting scared!"

Manik kept quiet for a while.

Manik : "Okay Sona...We are leaving now..Take care"

Nandini : "Di !....bye"

Sona : "One minute..."

Saying this Sonakshi opened her cupboard, took two big chocolates and gave it to Nandini.

Nandini accepted it happily : "Thank you di !"

Manik : "Are you still leaving this habit of giving chocolate to her?"

Sonakshi smiled : "Here have this...."

Sonakshi gave another chocolate to Manik. Manik took it and broke it in to 2 halves.He gave one half to Sonakshi and he ate the another one.

Sonakshi fed the half bar chocolate to Nandini which Manik gave her....

Manik and Nandini left for college after informing Rajeev and Sharmila.

Manik and Nandini are very much quiet all the way.

When Manik stopped the bike near Nandini's college, she got down from it.

Nandini with a small smile : "Thank you very much"

A dimple formed in her cheek when she smiled. Manik noticed it.

Manik pressed the dimple on her cheek.

Nandini stunned for a second....and gave a what look.

Nandini stammered : "Wh...at?"

Manik sternly : "Don't you know how to eat the chocolate?....You ate the chocolate like a child..smearing it here and there! No one can change you"

Thinking that Manik is again scolding her Nandini's smile dropped, hung her head down and went to her class.

She didn't even think that she herself didn't touch the chocolate first. It's Sonakshi who fed the chocolate to Nandini....😜😜
