"Dadi!" - Manik called .

But Nyonika came for his call.

Nyonika smilingly : "What Manik? What do you want? You can call me for whatever you want? Why to call Dadi? Don't you know, she will have difficulty in breathing when she climbed up the stairs...."

Manik teasingly : "To call you? But you was, is and will be busy in taking care of your princess right? Then how will you come to my call? That's why I called Dadi?"

Nyonika's smile dropped hearing his reply!

Manik chuckled and pinched her cheek smilingly.

Manik : "Mom! You became sad suddenly.... I just teased you... Don't I know about my Mom? I can even write a book on how will you take care of me"

Nyonika smilingly : "Enough! Now don't praise me so much because I don't like it.. You till now didn't told me why you called?"

Manik : "Mom! My watch is missing!... Dadi only cleaned my room yesterday. That's why I called Dadi"

Nyonika : "Watch? Did you searched carefully? It might be in your cupboard!... Where will it might go?"

Manik : "I searched everywhere.. But I didn't get it!'

Nyonika : "Okay! Let's ask you dadi itself"

Saying this Nyonika went down to the living room while Manik followed her.

In Living room.....Kalyani is sitting in Sofa and Nandini in floor.

Kalyani is oiling Nandini's hair while her eyes are closed. Manik saw this while getting down from the stairs

Manik in a sharp tone : "Why your princess doesn't even know to oil her own hair?

Hearing Manik's voice Nandini shivered and is about to get up.

Kalyani sternly : "Now why are you getting up Nandini? Don't move !"

Saying this she pressed Nandini's shoulder who again sat on the floor.

Kalyani to Manik : "What dear? Mom and Son has come together. What's the matter?"

Manik : "Dadi! You told that you cleaned my room yesterday.... Now I didn't find my watch. I searched everywhere in the room... Where you kept that?"

Hearing what Manik asked Nandini's heart stopped beating and her whole body freezed!

Nandini in her mind : "You are dead Nandini today.....!"

Kalyani : "I didn't see your watch! Yesterday, I didn't cleaned your room... I had severe pain in my back. So she only cleaned your room"

Saying this she looked at Nandini proudly!

Nandini with fears in her mind : "Now you are gone! Nani herself hooked you....Today I'm over....In normal situations itself, he will glare at me whenever I cross his room.... Now when he came to know that I went to the room, I don't know what he is gonna do?"

Note : Nandini will call Kalyani as Nani because Sonakshi calls her like that. Same goes with Nyonika whom she calls as Bua... She does everything what Sonakshi says... 😍

Manik wickedly and said to Nandini : "Ohhhhhh.....Is it Dadi? Thank you so much Nandini.... Then you only cleaning my room for the past one  week? The room is looking perfect. Thanks Nandini...."

Nandini got her actual answer when he mentioned : "Ohhhhh....Is it? Dadi" and remained quiet...

Nyonika proudly : "Yes Manik... Nowadays...Nandini is becoming more responsible. She even doesn't allow me to do some works and do it herself....See the home itself is looking perfect because of her"

Manik smiled.

Manik teasingly : "Mom! What is surprising in it? She is doing Interior designing. She is doing project with this home. Am I right Nandini?"

Nandini didn't said anything. She just smiled.

Manik sternly asked : "You won't open your mouth right?.... Okay...leave that....Did you see my watch?"

Nandini stammeringly : "Wha....t....wat...ch..I..didn't...se.e any!"

Manik to all : "Okay then..Leave it. I might have misplaced it somewhere!"

Manik to Nyonika : "Mom! Where is Dad? Did he took all his medicines?"

Nyonika : "He is in the room. He is getting ready for office"

Manik angrily asked : "Mom!.... Yesterday he is not well. What is the need to go to office immediately? I told him to rest for 2 days and then go to office right? That time he nodded his head and now he is leaving for office.... Is it necessary to go to office in this condition?"

Raj who came out of his room heard Manik.

Raj : "What happened Manik? It seems you are angry!"

Manik : "Yeah I am angry at you..... Is it necessary for you to go office today? Shall I take leave for my college and go to office?"

Manik is doing MBA Final year. Manik took this course, since he want to help his father in his business. But Raj wished Manik to become a doctor. But he didn't want to instill his wish in Manik.

Raj wished to see atleast Nandini to see as a doctor.

But Nandini will faint as soon as she sees the blood!

Manik will go to office in semester holidays and tries to learn everything. That's why he is asking today also to go to office!

Raj : "No Manik...I have an important meeting today"

Manik : "What Dad? You are important for me more than that.. You cancel that meeting!"

Raj smilingly : "No Manik. It's not possible. I have to discuss about the important project. I am perfectly alright. Don't treat me as a patient and lock me inside the home....I am requesting you"

Manik chuckled : "What dad? Why are you requesting me... Okay do as your wish. But take care of yourself"

Raj : "To take care of me, there are many people - Your mom... My mom.... my princess... all are there. That too... Nandini after my first heartattack, she is spending all the hours after she comes from college near me and taking care of me. She even take and come food to my room itself"

Hearing again Nandini's praises, Manik made faces!

Manik : "Enough Dad! You too don't start that!"

Manik to Nyonika : "Mom! I am hungry. Is the breakfast ready?"

Nyonika : "Ready Manik... Sit.. I will serve you"

Kalyani don't like talking while eating. Hence all ate silently and left for their respective works!

Nandini after taking bag from her room came out of her room searching something in her bag.

She bumped into someone.

Feeling pain on her forehead she hissed......Manik too hissed feeling pain of his chest because of the unexpected bumping!

Ofcourse our Nandini has the height of Manik's chest only!

Manik angrily : "Hey ....are you crazy? Won't you see your path and come. Why had you bumped on me like this?"

Nandini in fear stammered : "Sor...ry"

Manik angrily : "Who want your sorry?... Do you know why I came here? "

Nandini shook her head in no...

Manik asked : "Where is my watch?"

Hearing this again Nandini's throat became dry in fear.

Nandini stammered : "I didn't....see...it"

Manik glared Nandini. Nandini looked at him.

Nandini stammered : " That.....watch....Yesterday..when I cleaned your table...your watch fell from the table and broken!"

Manik : "I knew it...after looking at the way you rolled you eyes.... I knew it...."

Nandini : "Sorry! I will buy you a new watch for you"

Manik : "When you will buy it for me?"

Nandini : "Very soon!......As soon as my pocket money reaches the said amount....I will buy you a watch!"

Manik : "How much you saved till now?"

Nandini : "That I don't know now. I have to check it!"

Manik : "Okay..... Whatever you may keep.... Now you give me thousand rupees.... I get the rest from you later"

Hearing this... Nandini widened her eyes.

Nandini : "That much amount? I don't think I have that much amount!"

Manik : "I don't know what you will do? But I want money now itself. Or give my watch. Do you know it is so expensive?"

Nandini : "How much is that watch?"

Manik : "Why do you want to know that? Now tell me whether I will get the money or not....?"

Nandini : "I have kept it in the cupboard. Shall I go and take?"

Manik sternly : "Don't say it... Now do it!"

Nandini went to her room and came out of her room while counting the money.

Nandini gave the money to Manik : "I have only 860 rupees...."

Manik took 800 rupees and gave the balance 60 rupees to her.

Manik : "Here...take this for your expense. I am not heartless to take all your money"

Nandini : "Thanks... Shall I go now?"

Manik : "Mmmmm...go...go now"

When she heard this, she is about to move suddenly when she again heard his voice

Manik : "hey! stop there itself"

Nandini looked at him innocently.

Manik : "Hereafter...you only have to clean my room....Dadi is not well. Mom is looking after household chores..... You are free right?.... So hereafter you only have to clean my room... But you should not damage anything? Okay?"

Nandini nodded her head. When Manik signed her to go, she ran out of the home...!
