Recap : Misunderstandings are sorted out between Manik and Nandini...Kalyani asks Nandini's hand in marriage for Manik to Shekhar while he is drowned in thoughts...

All are eagerly waiting for Shekhar's answer who is drowned in the thoughts...

Raj  :  "Shekhar! What are you thinking?  Tell us your decision whatever it is.. Don't think for us..."

Nyonika :   "Yes bhai...She is your daughter...You might have some wishes for her"

Hearing this Nandini and Manik panickingly looked at Shekhar...

Kalyani sadly  :  "Are you not happy with this proposal Shekhar?"

Shekhar  :  "Nothing like that mummyji...I have a small confusion...So only..."

All looked at Shekhar questioningly...

Shekhar  :  "That....Yesterday my sister called me...She told me that she had convinced her husband and they both are going to come today here. She also told very happily that she is going to ask Ammu's hand in marriage for Dev...That's why..."

Hearing this Kalyani worriedly looked at Raj...Raj consoled her to not worry through his eyes..

Nandini panickingly and worriedly looked at Manik...

Having lost her patience, 

Nandini stammeringly  :  "Dad....What you told her?"

Shekhar  :  "I didn't said anything to her dear...I kept quiet and is waiting to decide when they come..May be it is my sister's wish...But I don't know what her husband is saying...So only I didn't think over it..."

Nandini sighed in relief knowing that her father didn't give promise to anyone without asking her...

Nandini looked at others who also had the same expression..

Nandini worriedly looked at Nyonika and pleaded through her eyes to talk to her father...

Nyonika worriedly  :  "Bhai...We are very sorry that we made you feel embarrassed..We came up with decision only because Manik and Nandini are in love with each other and also because of my wish that Nandini will become my daughter in law itself...We failed to think about your sister's family and even Dev have the right to marry Nandini..."

Shekhar smilingly  :  "Nyonika! Now why are you feeling embarrassed this much?  You only have the same right or more than right the  that my sister have on Nandini...You only have all the right who fostered my daughter without letting her feel that she is a motherless child made her what she is today..In front of your love for my daughter, all our wishes are very small"

Kalyani proudly looked at her daughter in law...

Kalyani  proudly  :  "What you are saying is right Shekhar.. Nothing can stand before my daughter in law's love and affection...She is really a God's gift to us..She is always patient and at the same time responsible in our family...Amongst the those who hate mother in law and sister in law these days, she had supported her sister in law when she was alive and also foster her daughter like a own mother...Unlike me who failed to be a mother to my own daughter itself...I had committed sin that I could not even see my daughter's face for the last time"

Kalyani's eyes welled up with tears and is about to cry when Manik rushed to her and hugged her to console her..

Manik  :  "Relax Dadi"

Shekhar smilingly  :  "Mummyji ! Why are you still thinking about the bitter memories in the past? Atleast we can try to create some happy moments now..."

Kalyani wiped her tears with her saree..

Kalyani confusingly  :  "Happy moments means?"

Shekhar happily  :  "I am wholeheartedly giving my daughter's hand in marriage for your grandson Manik"

All got shocked but happily for a second...

Nandini happily rushed to Shekhar and hugged him :  "Daddy!"

Manik too came running and hugged Shekhar on the other side happily  :  "Thank you Mamu...Thank you so much"

Shekhar happily hugged his daughter and son in law on either sides...

Raj :  "Shekhar!"

Shekhar smilingly  :  "Tell me Sambandji"

Raj  sternly  :  "I will beat you....We are always friends ....I will kill you if you call me with that word"

Shekhar  chuckled  :  "Just for fun Raj....I just wanted to check how that word sounds to you...Before that you are threatening to kill me right? Do you have also the thinking that I would call you like that...Never ..Go away"

Raj chuckled  :  "Idiot....I even forgot what I was about to say in the shock I got when you called me like that"

Raj continued  :  "Shekhar  ...I am happy that you agreed for Manik and Nandini's marriage...But what about Anupama di  ?"

Shekhar smilingly  :  "Raj! My Di will understand If I speak to her..."

Harsh Voice  :  "Your Di will understand....What about her husband ? He is already very angry on you that you didn't marry her sister...He is now coming here after controlling his anger"

Hearing the harsh voice, all looked at the door step where Ashok dixit is standing angrily and Anupama Dixit is standing behind him shiveringly..

Shekhar with happy face rushed to them  :  "Jijaji...Come...Come inside jijaji..."

Ashok looked at Anupama...Anupama pleaded through her eyes to get inside"

Ashok angrily  :  "Anupama! Since you requested and also told that we will ask your brother's daughter's hand in marriage for Dev, I tried to forget the past and came here...But here your brother seems to fix some other alliance for his daughter...Did you bring me here to watch this? And you are asking me to come inside too!"

Anupama worriedly looked at others..

Kalyani smilingly  :  "Son...Your anger is justified ....Whatever it may be, come inside and talk...Come inside son"

Ashok who thought for a while came inside the home

Anupama sighed in relief and also at the same time also in fear that what would happen further..

Nandini and others invited them jointly..

Kalyani  :  "Be seated son"

Kalyani :  'Nyonika! Bring something to drink for them"

Nyonika went to the kitchen..

Kalyani :  "Ammu...You too go with her...Go and help your bua"

Nandini went to the kitchen turning and seeing Manik often...

Kalyani smilingly to Ashok  :  "We all are happy that you forgot everything and came here...I too kept this anger for so may years and lived all these years even without knowing about my daughter's death...We, the ones who saw the caste failed to see what is there in our children's heart..If I had blessed my daughter to live happily, she would have been alive by this time...All because of fate...What we can do?"

Kalyani continued  :  "Manik! Come here"

Manik came and sat near  Kalyani on the sofa...Kalyani held his hand...

Kalyani smilingly  :  "He is Manik....Raj's Son.."

Manik smilingly  :  "Hai uncle"

Kalyani  :  "Don't call him uncle Manik...Call him Tauji"

Manik  :  "Okay Dadi"

Kalyani told Ashok and Anupama about Manik..

Kalyani smilingly  :  "Manik and Nandini are in love with each other"

Hearing this Anupama became very said...She was very happy that her brother's daughter could become her daughter in law..Anupama worriedly looked at her husband Ashok...

Ashok angrily  :  "I knew it ...I already knew it that you people will do something like this..This Shekhar will always look at me like an enemy since I separated him from his sister...First he didn't even talk to me for that...Then gradually he started to talk nicely to him...Since I liked his nature and also my sister loved him, I decided to get them both married..But what he did? He didn't respected me and run away with your daughter...My sister tried to commit suicide...By god's grace she survived...."

Hearing the same old story again, rest of them don't know what to speak further..

Ashok angrily again  :   "I know that all are thinking that why I am talking about the old story again....and not about present...I can very well understand what you all are thinking...What I am saying is I will not let go of Dev's marriage alliance easily just like what I did for my sister in the past..."

When they were talking, Nandini came from the kitchen with a tray full of sweets..

First she went to Ashok Dixit..

Nandini smilingly  : "Phupha! Have  the sweets"

Ashok smilingly looked at Nandini..

Ashok smilingly  :  "Everyone see her...Knowing that I am going to talk about good news my bahu came with the sweets..."

All were worried hearing this..

Nandini who cannot understand the situation clearly just gave a small smile to ashok and served others sweets and is about to go and stand in a corner when,

Ashok smilingly :  "Why are you standing there dear? Come here...Come and sit near your mummyji"

Nandini also did as what he said.

Anupama worriedly took Nandini's hands in her hold..

Ashok wickedly smiled  :  "What happened Shekhar? I think that you are scolding me in your mind"

Shekhar hesitatingly smiled  :  "Nothing like that jijaji...I am very happy that you forgived me and came to my home today"

Ashok laughed  :  "With the same happiness, send your daughter as my bahu....If you did like that..I will be very happy...My wife that is your sister will be very very happy..."

Nandini worriedly looked at Manik who is thinking about something deeply..

Sensing Nandini's hands shivering, Anupama pressed her hands giving assurance and ask her to be patient through her eyes..

Nandini again looked at Manik..

But Manik still didn't turn to her side and is drowned in thoughts..

Manik  suddenly  and calmly  :  "Did Dev knew about this marriage proposal Unc...sorry Tauji?"

Ashok smilingly  :  "Yes..he knew...I asked him..Only after his acceptance to the marriage proposal, I came here to ask for Nandini's hand in marriage..."

Manik and Nandini stunned to hear this..

Anupama also looked at Ashok in surprise..

Ashok smilingly  :   "This is not even known to Anupama itself..I only told Dev that we will give surprise to Anupama by fixing marriage with Nandini.."

Malhotra Family worriedly looked at each other...Even Shekhar is drowned in thoughts as what do further? 

Manik stood from the sofa..He quickly went out of the home..

He fisted his hairs in frustuation...He felt as if is whole body is burning..

With so much anger in him, Manik pulled out his mobile form his pocket and dialled Dev's number..
