Kalyani is lying on the bed with tears flowing from her eyes....Manik is sitting beside her...Manik felt pity looking at Kalyani's situation...Manik started to think whether he committed any sin in taking Nandini to Shekhar's home.....Kalyani is all the time crying thinking about her daughter..Though Manik is convincing Kalyani, his mind only brought the scenes in which Nandini angrily spoke to Kalyani...He didn't expect that Nandini will react this way to Kalyani.....Manik is also worried for slapping Nandini...To add on to it..he is now angry on her for not informing him while going to her father's home....

When Manik is drowned in thoughts...Kalyani called him....But he didn't react....Second time Kalyani touched him...

Manik came back to senses..

Manik : "What Dadi?"

Kalyani : "Manik! Call Raj...I want to talk to him..."

Manik : "Dadi!...Now you should not talk to anyone...Let the two days to pass by....Till that be quiet and take some rest.."

Kalyani : "No Manik!...I am fine now...If you didn't call Raj now I will go myself go and meet him"

Saying this she is about to get up...

Manik : "What Dadi? You are behaving like a child"

Manik continued : "Dad is not at home now..He has gone to leave Nandini at her father's home"

Kalyani stammeringly : "In....She....Shekhar's home? Then....Is...Nandini not at home? She went without telling me?....Is she hating me Manik?...Saying Nani ! Nani!...she will always come around me in this home? Won't ....she come to me hereafter?....Is ...she decided...that she didn't need me?"

Hearing Kalyani's lamentings...

Manik : "Dadi! Please be quiet.......It's not like what you are thinking...She will come here again...She can't be separated from you and mom for so many days...Surely she will come Dadi...Don't worry...Now relax yourself Dadi...For me please"

Saying this Manik sidehugged Kalyani....

After keeping silent for sometime...

Kalyani : "Manik! I did wrong Manik...I did wrong..Nandini's anger on me is justified...Her hatred for me is also correct only..."

Manik interrupted with high voice : "Dadi !"

Manik calmly again : "Dadi...You wouldn't have done anything wrong....I know about my Dadi...Whatever you had done has some reason for it...Like that only you had done with Shwetha bua too...Your tears are saying that how much you love Shwetha bua...Dadi! Nandini will understand it soon...Till that have some patience..If you deteriorate your like this...I can't bear it Dadi....You only have concern for your grand daughter....Not for me at all...Won't you listen to me?"

Kalyani chuckled hearing this and started to laugh...

Manik : "Why are you laughing Dadi?"

Kalyani : "Now your face is just like how you keep when you are in childhood and when we support Nandini...That time you will get very angry on us....Now also you are doing the same..So I started to laugh"

Manik with fake sadness : "So what...From then till today you and mom are giving importance only to her...Where you are thinking about me?"

Kalyani chuckled : "Don't put over scene Manik,....Enough of your actings my dear...Like this only you betrayed us by telling that you hate her....Atlast you had fallen in love with her under our nose itself...I won't believe you hereafter..."

Manik smiled sheepishly being caught redhanded

Kalyani started to laugh seeing his expressions....

Manik thought that he succeeded in changing the mood of Kalyani.....

Manik made Kalyani eat after saying some more sweet nothings and made her sleep after giving her usual sleeping pills...

After Kalyani slept, Manik came out of her room..

Seeing Manik coming out .....Nyonika quickly went near him..

Nyonika : "What happened Manik? What is Mom doing? Is she slept?"

Manik : "Mmmm...Now only she slept...She is laments too much...Somehow I convinced her and made her sleep"

Nyonika : "Why you told me not to come to Dadi's room? Is Dadi angry on me for hiding Nandini's identity for years?....Since you told me not to come by that side...I can't concentrate on my work itself"

Manik : "Mom! Please stop...Dadi didn't say anything..I only told you not to come...If you had come Dadi wouldn't have slept...She might have started to enquire about Swetha bua to you....If she does so she will surely spoil her health..."

Manik again : "Didn't Dad come yet?"

Nyonika : "He is on the way Manik...I don't know what Nandini going to do there when she doesn't wish to go there...I feel pity for Manik"

Manik : "Why she doesn't wish for?...That's her father's home right?...Then what happened to your princess?"

Nyonika told all the happenings before Nandini went to Shekhar..

Manik angrily : "Mom! Your to be daughter in law has got too much arrogance...That's why she is doing like this...See what she is doing now after keeping silent for so many years?..I don't know how she is going to trouble Shekhar Mamu there?"

Raj came to the home that time...

Nyonika : "Raj! What happened? Did she talk angrily to Shekhar Bhai? What bhai told for that? I know he might have got worried"

Raj : "Nyonika! It's not like what you are thinking..."

Raj told briefly about the happenings there...

Nyonika breathed in relief hearing that...

Raj : "Nyo! Where is Mom?"

Manik worriedly : "She slept dad...I gave her sleeping pills to make her sleep...I felt pity for her Dad....You could have told her in the beginning itself after Dadu's death and united Shwetha bua and Dadi....Or you could have atleast told her that Shwetha bua died and Nandini is her daughter...So she could have alteast seen her face before she dies....See the situation now...All are worried so much"

Raj : "How could I told her Manik? After your Dadu's death, she is very much broken....At that time, when Shwetha came to see her, she didn't even wanted to look Shwetha's face....She told that if again Shwetha come she will kill herself..How Manik? How could we tell her without knowing her mentality?"

Raj continued : "But Manik....I thought when Mom came to know about Nandini she will get angry on Nandini and ask her to leave the home...But it's surprising that she cried a lot knowing this.....I didn't expected this Manik..."

Nyonika : "What Raj? You are not understanding at all...Who is Shwetha for Mom? Her own daughter!...Her blood!...Mom will have sure feelings for Shwetha ...but she might have hidden all those till date..When she came to know about Shwetha's death today...she can't bear it...She is thinking that she committed a mistake..."

Raj : "It's past now....Even if all worry now, Shwetha won't come back"

Raj continued : "Manik! Nandini told that she forgot one book on her table...Tomorrow you go and give the book to Nandini and also drop her to the college"

Due to anger on Nandini,

Manik : "Dad! Tomorrow I have some work"

Raj : "What work?"

Manik stammered : "That...That..."

Raj : "Whatever the work is.....Finish the work which I assigned now and then go....She told that the book is very important for her...I have an important work tomorrow...You only have to go..."

Since Raj told this like a order, Manik nodded his head in Yes...
