"What do you mean I can't see him?" Hawks glared at the president of the Hero Commission. The pro had been waiting anxiously with Miruko while Dabi was being tended to for a good hour or so before he was told that his boyfriend would be okay. Just as he got to Dabi's room, he saw two HPSC agents standing in front of the door, denying him access.
"Until we receive the results from the DNA test, I can not permit you access to his room," the president explained. "Seeing as you were the one to claim that he is Endeavor's dead son."
"That's because he is," Hawks replied. "And you're just using the test results as an excuse. I know full-well that you're not going to let me inside no matter what."
"Precisely," the president returned his stare. "He is a dangerous member of the League. You have gotten close enough already."
"Fine," the blonde sighed. "At least let me go with you to see the results."
"I'm sorry, but I can not allow that either." Hawks stared at her in shock.
"What?" the pro asked.
"As I said before," the president replied, her face betraying no emotion. "You have gotten too close to the mission. You will see the results after I do." Before Hawks could respond, Miruko stepped in.
"Then allow me to accompany you," she requested. "I wasn't assigned this mission, so I have no relationships with the League or Dabi. Fuyumi is accompanying her father here, so Hawks will have someone to keep him company while he waits." The two women didn't break eye contact.
"Very well then," the president agreed. Hawks released a sigh of relief and gave his friend a thankful look.

Not too long after, Endeavor and Fuyumi arrived. As soon as she saw Hawks, Fuyumi immediately gave him a comforting hug.
"Ms. Fuyumi," the president addressed her. "You will stay here with Hawks while Endeavor, Miruko, and myself go get the DNA test done."
"Understood," Fuyumi replied. Once the three of them were gone, Hawks just rested his head against her shoulder.
"I'm scared, Yumi," he whispered to her.
"I know, Kei," she replied, gently rubbing his back. "I know."
Hawks just watched the guards, looking for any opportunity to sneak his way into Dabi's room. After about 15 minutes, he finally got his chance.
A third agent knocked from the other side of the door. As soon as one of the guards started to open it, Hawks made his move. The pro dashed towards the door, but was caught by the guards before he could make it inside.
"Let me go!" He struggled against their hold. "I have every right to see him!"
"Close the door," one of the guards told the agent inside.
"No!" Hawks shouted. "Touya! Please! I need to see him!"
"Keigo!" Fuyumi spoke up as she tried to pull the winged hero away. "What has gotten into you?"
"Let me go!" Hawks continued to struggle as his eyes threatened to start crying. "Touya!"
