Hawks was pacing back and forth in his living room. It had been three days since Katsu had given him his warning to leave Dabi. The blonde hadn't seen or heard from the yellow-eyed male in that time either. Hearing his phone buzz on the table, Hawks looked down to see a text from Dabi.

"About 10 minutes from the apartment. I'll see you in a little bit."

He picked up his phone and typed a quick response.

"Okay. Love you. <3"

He sighed heavily before continuing to pace back and forth.

Ten minutes later, Hawks heard the familiar sounds of his villain boyfriend returning to their apartment. He made his way over to the front hallway to greet him.

"Welcome home, Tou," Hawks gave Dabi a warm smile.

"Hello, Kei," Dabi greeted him as he hung up his hoodie. "God, have I missed you." He paused once he grabbed Hawks' hand. "You alright? Your hand's shaking." Hawks averted his gaze.

"Can we talk about this inside?" he asked. Sensing that something was off, Dabi just nodded and followed the pro into the living room.

"What's wrong?" Dabi asked as they sat down on the couch. Hawks hesitated for a moment before taking a deep breath.

"I... got into contact with Katsu..." he started.

"Katsu..." Dabi paused to think. "You mean the guy whose profile you brought back on our anniversary night?" Hawks nodded.

"He... he warned me to leave you..." he continued. "But I can't do that. I love you too much, Dabi!" Tears started rolling down his cheeks. "I don't know what he plans to do, but I don't want to lose you again! You matter too much to me." Dabi pulled him in for a hug and let the blonde cry out into his chest. He gently stroked Hawks' head as he comforted him, not stopping until he heard nothing but a few sniffles.

"Hey," Dabi gently cupped his boyfriend's face in his hands. "I'm not gonna let anything bad happen to us from now on, alright? I'm gonna keep you safe." He rested his forehead against Hawks'. "You're my whole world, too, Kei." Dabi lifted his head after he got a chuckle out of the pro. "That's actually part of the reason why I went to go talk with Shig."

"Really?" Hawks asked. Dabi nodded.

"I went to go talk to him about-" The villain was cut off as movement from the corner of his eye caught his attention. His eyes widened and the next thing Hawks knew Dabi was throwing himself on top of him. "Get down!"
