It has been a couple of days since the students went home for Christmas, and in that time it has snowed,covering the school and grounds in a blanket of white crispness. I awoke one morning to something small poking me in the face,I open my eyes and see a niffler looking back at me
"Sniffy?"

The niffler hands me a piece of parchment that is in his tiny paw before scurrying off,I sit up and rub my eyes before reading the note
"Make sure to dress warmly for today,G.G" I know it's from Gellert,I wonder what he has in mind for us today. I get out of bed,do my morning routine and then pick out some warm clothes for the day. Winter boots,jeans and a thick purple jumper.

I head down to the common room and see Gellert sat on a sofa with Sniffy beside him
"Good morning, Sweetheart" Gellert says when he sees me
"Good morning to you as well Gellert" I say walking over to sit beside him"How did you manage to get Sniffy to give me that note?"

"I trained him" Gellert says
"That would have take ages" I say
"OK you got me,I gave him some gold coins to do it" Gellert says
"Really?" I ask shocked
"No,its actually chocolate coins" Gellert shrugs.

"You actually parted with chocolate, are you ill?" I ask playfully
"No cheeky,it saves giving him real money" Gellert tells me
"So what's the plan for today?" I ask
"Wait and see" Gellert says,if their is one thing Gellert Grindelwald is really good at its being mysterious.

After eating breakfast we head back to the common room and I pick up my coat
"I wish you would tell me where we are going?" I ask Gellert for the tenth time
"You have to wait and see" Gellert tells me as we walk. I find out our destination soon enough, as we arrive in Hogsmead.

We wonder around the village but not many shops are open due to the snow. We of course stop at Honeydukes and stock upon sweets,we then head back to the school as it begins to snow again
"Are you warm enough?" Gellert asks me
"Yes" I tell him,but my chattering teeth betray me.

Gellert takes off his black trench coat and puts it around me
"Gellert you can't give me your coat,you'll get cold" I protest
"Sweet Chaz I love the cold,plus I'm more concerned about you getting sick" Gellert tells me
"If you're sure?" I ask
"Positive" Gellert says,we carry on back to the school and head back to the common room.

Once inside I sit down close to the fireplace,its not time for dinner yet. Gellert sits down beside me and wraps his arms around me and pulls me closer to his body
"Feeling warmer yet,sweetheart?" Gellert asks quietly
"Much"I say as I snuggle closer to my boyfriend, enjoying being alone with him in the empty common room.
