Naira and pungi went inside kartik room. He was sitting on his bed and saw them.

Kartik:- ab kya hua miss jwalamukhi.

Naira glared at him but then pungi elbowed her.

Naira :- vo main woh

Kartik :- hmmm......

Naira :- main vo main, main main ....

Kartik :- kya main main. Bakri ho kya.

Naira :- bakri nahi mein sherni hoon.

Kartik :- vo toh dikh raha hai. Jaldi bolo jo bolna hai.

Naira looked at pungi but she gave her a stern look. Naira sighed.

Naira:- vo mein ye kehne aayi thi ki.......

Naira went quiet after this.

Kartik:- rehne do . Tumse naa ho paega.

Naira glared at him.

Kartik :- bar bar kya ghur rahi ho. Mughe pata hai ki main kitna handsome hoo.

Naira :- tum aur handsome. Shakal dekhi hai apni aaine mein.

Kartik :- haa bahut baar. In fact aaj subeh hi dekhi thi.

Naira :- tughe toh mein...

She was about to move towards him when pungi stopped her.

Kartik( in sign language):- rehne do pungi. Ye sirf lad sakti hai. Sorry ya thank you nahi bolna aata ise.

Naira was genuinely surprised when she saw this and thought :- isse kab pata chala ki pungi bol nahi sakti. Aur isne pungi ka mazak nahi udaya. Ab toh sorry bol hi deti hoo.

Naira quickly said :- sorry.

Kartik was shocked.

Kartik:- hain.

Naira :- kya hain. Ek baar bola samagh nahi aata kya.

Kartik :- vo maine suna nahi. Ek baar phir se bolna.

Even though naira glared at him , she said sorry again.

Kartik :- hey ganga maiya. Ye kya sun liya maine. Kya ye sach mein ho raha hai. Iss sherni ne mughe sorry bola. Ab toh Qayamat aa jaegi bahut jaldi.

Naira:- jyada natak matt karo samghe. Chal pungi.

Naira and pungi went back to there room.

Next day:-

It was morning time. Naira came out from her room. She saw all the kids were eating bread pakora for breakfast.

Naira:- wow bread pakora. Mughe bhi.

She took a bite and loved it's taste.

Naira :- hmmm. Bahut acha hai. Kisne banaya.

Kartik from behind :- maine.

Naira was startled:- tum kab aaye.

Kartik :- arey janab. Hum toh hamesha se yahi par the par aapki nazare kamzoor thi.
By the way thanks meri taarif ke liye.

Naira :- meri nazar bilkul thik hai. Vo kya hai na mendak ko subah subah dekhne ki aadat nahi hai mughe. Aur ye jhooti taarif mat lo.

A kid from behind :- arey didi sach mein. Bhaiyya ne hi banaye hai.

Kartik smirked at her:- tum kach keh rahi thi na.

Naira :- nahi toh. Main kuch nahi keh rahi thi.

Kartik just smiled.

Kartik (thinking):- haaye kitna ladti hai. Kitna jhagadti hai. Par ye kitni cute hai yaar.
Maan karta hai ki isse dekhta rahoo yaa iski baatein sunta rahoo.

Kartik was staring at her. But naira was unaware of it. After some time he came out of his dream land.

Kartik decided to do something today. So he asked the kids:- bacho abhi toh tumhari holidays chal rahi na school ki??

Al the kids :- ha bhaiyya.

Kartik:- Toh kyun na hum sab Rishikesh ghumne chale.

All the kids got excited. Now naira was looking at him.

Kartik :- vaise bachon. Kya tumhe yaha par kisi ache se guide ka pata hai. Jo mughe ache se Rishikesh ghumma sake bina kisi ladai ke.

Naira glared at him. She knew kartik was purposely teasing her.

Kid:- bhaiyya hamari Tina didi se acha koi guide nahi hai.

Kartik smirked at naira :- ohh acha miss Rishikesh. Kya aap humme ghumane ka kasht kar sakti hai.

Naira reluctantly agreed.

After some time:-

All the kids were in Kartik's jeep and naira was sitting beside him. For some reason this made kartik very happy.

They were roaming around Rishikesh and naira was sprouting facts and places to him.

Kartik :- vaise tumhe toh kaafi kuch pata hai miss Rishikesh. Kabse ho yahan par.

Naira said slowly :- pichle 5 saalo se.

Kartik did notice that she was not comfortable with this. So he decided to drop the topic.

Kid:- bhaiyya bhaiyya bhook lagi hai.

Kartik :- acha ye baat hai. Toh chalo phir.

Kartik took them to a hotel which was owned a by his family.

Naira :- kartik ye bahut mehnga hotel lag raha hai.

Kartik :- Don't worry about it. Bacho jisko jo mann kare, Jaisa maan kar rahe utna khao. Ye aapke bhaiyya ki treat.

All the kids got excited.

Naira saw this and a smile emerged on his face.

Kartik saw this and was mesmerized by that smile.

She looked so happy.

All the kids had lunch and after some time they came back to the ashram.

At evening:-

Kartik had just come out of his room and heard all the kids cheering.

He came outside and was shocked to see naira dancing.

Kartik was mesmerized. He noticed every single detail in her. Her graceful steps. The way she smiled. The way she moved. The way her hair twirled. He was so enchanted that he didn't even notice when her dance stopped. He came out of his trance when all the kids started clapping and went towards her.

Kartik :- yaar maana padega. Mughe toh laga tha ki sirf ladna jaanti ho. Par tum mein  toh aur bhi talent hai.

Naira smiled. Kartik thought of teasing her but decided not to.

Naira was going towards her room. When she suddenly twisted her leg.

Naira :- owwwwww

Kartik came running inside.

Kartik :- kya hua.

Kartik held her hand.

Kartik :- tum thik ho na.

Naira :- haa main thik hoo.

Naira started walking when she suddenly stumbled. Kartik caught her.

Kartik :- dikh raha hai kitni thik ho.

Before naira could say anything. He picked her up bridal style. She was shocked to say anything. He laid her gently on the bed. He went outside and brought some ice to rub on her ankle.

Naira was surprised to see this side of him. She knew he can be irritating but the whole day today she saw a different side of him. His caring attitude towards the kids. Towards her. She realised that he was good person from the inside.

Naira :- kya hum dosti kar sakte hai??

Kartik :- hain?

Naira :- kya hain. Dosti ke liye pooch rahi hoo.

Kartik put forward his hand. As soon as naira was going to shake it. He pulled it back.

Naira :- kya!! Jyada attitude mat dikhao. Dosti karni ho to karo varna phutto yaha se.

Kartik :- dosti kar rahi ho ya dhamki de rahi ho.

Naira :- ok ok. Let's forget the past. Bas ab genuinely . Will you be my friend??

Kartik :- of course my lady.

They both shook there hands with smiles on there faces.
