Naira and kartik and the entire families of Goenka's, singhaniya's and Maheshwari's were in Rishikesh. The reason was there anniversary. The city was special for them. It was here they first met, fell in love, kartik proposed naira, there marriage. Numerous memories were linked to this place.

Kartik and naira had decided to celebrate there anniversary with just the ashram kids and there families at the ashram. The ashram was decorated. As soon as the clock hit 12 there entire family shouted :- happy anniversary.

Kartik and naira cut the cake. After feeding the cake to each other they fed the rest of there families. Kartik and naira danced on there anniversary with there families, with the ashram kids and with each other. After sometime the families went back to the cottage while kartik and naira had decided to stay in the ashram.

Kartik was sitting on the bench in the garden. Naira was sitting on his lap. His arms were wrapped around her waist while his face rested on her shoulder.

Kartik :- yakeen nahi hota ki hamari shaadi ko ek saal ho gaya.

Naira :- mughe bhi.

Kartik :- aaj bhi ache se yaad hai mughe jab maine tum yahin par uss shaadi ke jode mein dekha tha. Uss pal mughe dobara tumse pyaar ho gaya tha.

Naira smiled. Kartik kissed her neck causing naira to lean into him more. Kartik turned her face and kissed her on the lips. Naira reciprocated. After sometime they separated.

The whole day they spent doing various sports adventures and in the evening the couple went for a camping.

Kartik was sitting on the snow with naira's back connected to his chest.

Naira :- mughe toh ye abhi bhi sapna lag raha hai.

Kartik pinched her on the hand.

Naira :- owww. Kya kar rahe ho ?

Kartik :- yakeen dila raha tha.

Naira :- aise.

Kartik :- toh aur kaise.

Naira :- kartik tum bhi na. Kabhi kabhi bas.

Kartik :- acha. Thik hai. Naraz mat ho. Badla lelo.

Naira :- kaise.

Kartik forwarded his cheek.

Kartik :- jaise tumhare mann kare.

Naira kissed him on the cheek.

Kartik :- owwww.

Naira :- kya hua. Jor ka laga.

Kartik :- haa.

Naira :- kahan.

Kartik pointed towards his heart.

Kartik :- yahan.

They both laughed as kartik kissed her cheek.

Naira :- happy anniversary kartik.

Kartik :- happy anniversary naira.

Naira :- aakhein band karo.

Kartik :- kya hua?

Naira :- karo toh.

Kartik :- ok.

Kartik closed his eyes and naira separated from him.

Naira :- kartik. Aakhein kholo.

Naira was on her knees holding out a rose towards him.

Naira :- mughse shaadi karoge.

Kartik just laughed and pulled naira towards him causing both of them to fall on the snow. Naira was on Kartik's chest.

Kartik :- haa. Aur vo bhi abhi issi waqt.

Naira smiled.

Naira :- I love you mendak.

Kartik :- I love you too sherni.

The families returned the next day. A month later was the wedding of naksh and kirti. The dates of all the functions was set. The invitations were sent. Kartik and naira were getting nostalgic as the functions were coming. It was reminder of there wedding. They were not jealous of the grand wedding which was being held for keerti and naksh. They knew there situation was different when they were getting married.

Today was the engagement of naksh and kirti which was being held in a hotel. The families reached there and rings were exchanged. After the ceremony kartik called naira under a table.

Kartik :- apni aakhein band karo

Naira :- kya hua?

Kartik :- arey karo toh.

Naira closed her eyes.

Kartik :- acha ab kholo.

Naira opened her eyes to see kartik holding out a ring. Naira was surprised. Kartik took her hand and put it on her finger. He brought her hands to his lips and kissed it. Naira smiled. No matter how much time it had been she  was always overwhelmed by his romantic gestures.

Later at home during night time kartik was lying on the bed exhausted from the day. Naira was lying on his chest. Her face buried in his neck. She was sleeping. She was exhausted. She had taken a lot of workload of the wedding upon herself. Kartik looked down at her as she was peacefully sleeping. He kissed her forehead and gently caressed her hair. Naira made a sound of satisfaction in her sleep as her arms came around him and she hugged him even tighter. Even in there sleep they always searched for each other. Kartik too closed his eyes and went to sleep holding her tightly in his arms.

Naira got up in the morning. She felt something on her waist. She realised it was kartik's arms. She slowly got up and looked at his face. He was sleeping peacefully. Naira smiled and kissed him on the cheek. She was about to get up when suddenly his arms pulled her into him. Naira's head fell back on his chest.

Kartik murmured :- naira. Itni dur kyun chali jaati ho bar bar.

She looked up to see he was murmuring in his sleep. Naira smiled. Even in his sleep he was murmuring her name. Naira closed her eyes and again went to sleep. After sometime they both woke up at the same time. Naira slowly got up with kartik supporting her as got up himself.

Kartik sat on the bed leaning on the headboard while naira laid against him.

Kartik :- good morning.

Naira :- good morning.

Naira :- chalo. Bahut der ho gayi hai.

Kartik nodded. They both got up and got ready for the day.

Slowly a month passed. Keerti got married to naksh and everything retuned to normal.

It was after some days when both recieved a great news and shared with the rest of there family.

They both were smiling widely. The whole family was in the living room. Kartik couldn't control his excitement.

Kartik shouted :- DADI.

Dadi was startled and so were the rest of the family.

Suhasini :- arey Kittu kya hua? Aise kyu chila rahe ho?

Kartik :- aaj mein bahut khush hoon.

Manish :- arry par hua kya?

Kartik just hugged him also. Meanwhile naira hugged Swarna and Surekha.

Swarna :- arey kya hua hai?

Surekha :- aur nahi toh kya. Dono kuch bol hi nahi rahe hai.

After a moment kartik and naira were standing together while there family gave them a questioning look.

Kartik :- khush khabri ye hai ki aap sabka promotion ho gaya hai.

All :- kya?

Kartik :- haa.

Akhilesh :- promotion. Kaisa promotion?

Kartik :- arey family vala promotion.

Manish :- matlab?

Kartik came near dadi.

Kartik :- dadi. Aap pehle unmarried the. Uske baad married hue. Phir maa bani. Phir aap dadi.

Dadi kept nodding.

Kartik :- ab dadi ke baad kya aata hai.

Dadi :- dadi ke baad toh parda.....di.

As if realisation dawned on everyone.

Dadi :- matlab naira maa ban ne wali hai.

Kartik nodded while naira blushed.

Swarna and Surekha immediately came near naira and hugged her.

Dadi :- arey suna. Manish suna. Hum pardadi banne wali hai. Surekha jao jaldi se nazar ka saman lekar aao. Naira idhar aao.

Naira came near her and touched her feet.

Dadi :- hum bata nahi sakte ki tumne hummein kitni badi khush khabri di hai.

Manish and Akhilesh hugged kartik.

Akhilesh :- bhai saab. Aap dada ban ne wale hai.

Manish :- aur tum bhi.

The entire family hugged each other and celebrated. Sweets were fed to everyone. Luv kush hugged naira.

After sometime kartik and naira were in there room. Naira was in front of the mirror while kartik hugged her from behind.

Kartik :- niche dekha. Sab log kitne khush the. Ye khushi sirf tumhari wajah se hai naira. Thank you. Thank you so much.

Naira smiled.

Naira :- iss khushi ke liye tum bhi utne responsible hi jitni mai. And thank you kartik. Pata hai aaj kya hai.

Kartik :- haa. Aaj hi ke din do saal pehle hamari pehli mulakat hui thi.

Naira :- inn do saalo mein mughe sab kuch mil gaya kartik. Meri family, mera pyaar sab kuch. Aur ye sab sirf tumhari vajah se possible hua hai.

Kartik kissed her.

Naira :- ab bas ye pregnancy sahi se ho jaye.

Kartik tuned her around.

Kartik :- Don worry naira agar koi bhi problem hui toh hum dono milke samna karenge. You and me.

Naira hugged kartik.

Naira :- I love you kartik.

Kartik :- I love you too naira.
