It was time for sangeet. Kartik and gayu were going to dance together which didn't happen as gayu injured herself so he was dancing with his wife. Both were lost in there own world. They forgot for a time that they were dancing in front of everyone. They only had eyes for each other. They only separated when gayu came between them.

Kartik and naira were in Kartik's room. The door locked. Kartik sat on the chair with naira on his lap and there arms around each other. His face was buried in her neck as he inhaled her sweet scent. He couldn't control himself and started kissing and licking her neck. Naira bit her lips as pleasure invaded her body.

Naira :- kartik ruko. Hum ye abhi nahi kar sakte.

Kartik :- I know. Main toh bas tumhe tease kar raha tha.

Naira glared at him while kartik just laughed.

Someone knocked at the door.

Mishti :- bff?

Kartik :- haa mishti.

Mishti :- rose bhabhi aapko bula rahi hai.

Kartik :- yaa. coming.

They both got up and kartik pulled naira again in his arms.

Naira :- kartik chodo. Niche jaana hai.

Kartik :- itne pass hokar bhi kabhi kabhi aisa lagta hai ki tum bahut dur ho.

Naira :- chinta mat kijiye patidev. Main hamesha aapke dil ke pass rahoongi.

Kartik :- haaye.

They both separated and went downstairs. Naira arrived a bit late than kartik as not to cause suspicion.

The next day shayari was held in the Singhania house. Kartik wrote for naira which he presented in front of everyone. Naira knew it was for her and blushed at the words. It was after the shayari when all the females were putting mehndi except for naira kartik came to know something interesting.

Devyani :- naira tum bhi lagwa lo thodi si.

Kaveri :- kahan Devyani. Tughe pata hai na ki usse mehndi bilkul bhi pasand nahi hai. Bachpan se hi mehndi ko dekh ke mooh bana leti hai.

Kartik was surprised to hear that bcoz during there mehndi naira didn't even complain once.

Finally kartik got the chance and pulled naira aside.

Naira :- kartik. Kya kar rahe ho ? Romance nahi kar sakte abhi.

Kartik :- tumhe mehndi pasand nahi hai.

Naira shook her head.

Kartik :- toh tumne hamari mehndi wale din kuch kyun nahi bola.

Naira :- kyun ki wo mehndi uss insaan ke liye thi jis se mein iss duniya mein sabse jyada pyaar karti hoon. Aur uske liye ek baar toh kya main hazar baar mehndi lagwa sakti hoon.

Kartik smiled and kissed her forehead and pulled her into a hug.

Kartik :- love you.

Naira :- love you too.

It was then they heard akshara and gayu talking about rashmi's necklace. Akshara and naira went for the search of it where akshara got into trouble and was helped kartik and naira. Kartik was looking at the mother daughter duo who were hugging each other. He knew they still loved each other. He just had to remove the misconception naira was having around her mother.

Finally it was time for bachelors party. Unknown to them both boys and girls were in the same house. Girls decided to scare them when they came to know.

Naira was looking for kartik when she heard a voice and saw an upside down person. Naira fainted.

Kartik was horrified. He quickly came down and sat beside naira.

Kartik :- naira, naira aakhein kholo, main hoon kartik, naira please please aakhein kholo. Naira, I am sorry, oh god, gayu-

He stopped talking when he heard a laugh. It was naira who was laughing. Kartik sighed in relief before he pulled her to his chest. Naira was surprised by his reaction and stopped laughing. Kartik pulled back.

Kartik :- kya tha ye? Huh. Aisa mazak kya koi karta hai. Kuch ho jata tumhe toh. Jaan nikal gayi thi meri. Please. Aaj ke baad galti se bhi aisa mazak mat karna. Tumhe kuch ho jata toh mein apne aap ko zindagi bhar maaf nahi kar pata.

Kartik pulled her back in the hug.

Naira :- mai bas mazak kar rahi thi kartik. I am sorry agar tumhe hurt hua. Aage se aisa mazak nahi karoongi.

Kartik :- please naira. Agar tumhe kuch ho gaya toh mein ji nahi paonga.

Naira :- shaant ho jao kartik. Kuch nahi hoga mughe.

After sometime they had dinner and were about to go to sleep when naira received a message. She quickly looked at it and closed her phone.

After sometime when everyone was sleeping, naira snuck out of the room and went outside the house. Kartik was already there. He turned around to see naira and opened his arms. Naira ran towards him and hugged him.

Kartik pulled back and looked at naira and kissed her. They pulled apart and leaned towards each other with there foreheads touching.

Kartik :- bahut tadpaya hai tumne naira.

Naira :- main bhi utna hi tadpi hoon kartik.

Kartik :- tumhe pata hai jab dadi ne hame shaadi se pehle milne se mana kiya tha toh mere se raah nahi gaya tha. Ek din mein aa bhi raha tha par Papa ne rok liya tha. Vo do din do saal ke barabar the.

Naira :- mera bhi un do din bilkul mann nahi laga tha.

Kartik brought his hand up to her face and naira leaned into his hand.

Kartik :- lekin jab maine tumhe uss shaadi ke jode mein dekha. Tab main vo do din bhul gaya. Mere samne uss waqt duniya ki sabse jyada khoobsurat ladki meri dulhan bankar aa rahi thi.

Naira blushed at his words. And leaned into his body.

Kartik :- itne dino se tum saath ho bhi aur nahi bhi. Tumhare bina ek ek pal bahut mushkil se kat ta hai.

Naira :- mera bhi ek ek pal ek ek saal ke barabar hai tumahre bina.

Kartik leaned back and showed her his hand. On his hand there was mehndi design.

Naira :- kartik ye kya hai ?

Kartik :- ab meri patni ko toh mehndi pasand nahi lekin aisa kahan likha ki mehndi sirf ladkiya karti hai. Mein bhi toh apni biwi ke naam ko mehndi lagwa sakta hoon na.

On his hand a small naira was written.

Naira hugged him tightly.

Kartik :- I love you naira.

Naira :- I love you kartik.

Suddenly it started raining. They both ran inside. They entered inside and saw mishti and kuhu behaving funnily. They were continuously laughing. Both of them went near them.

Kartik :- bff. Aap dono itna has kyu rahe ho?

Mishti :- pata nahi bff. Bas hasi air neend dono aa rahi hai.

Naira :- kya tum log ne kuch piya tha.

Kuhu :- haa di. Bas cold drink pee thi. Par uska taste bahut ajeeb sa tha.

Mishti :- arey didi. Vo dekho baarish ho rahi hai. Aur vo dekho cow hai bahar. Hum usse andar le aate hai.

Kartik and naira quickly moved towards both of them.

Kartik :- arey nahi nahi nahi bff. Vo mein le aaonga. Aap dono jaakar so jao. Naira tum inhe le jao aur inhe ache se pani pilao aur phir sulao. Ok.

Naira nodded and took them inside. Kartik went to the room where everybody else was sleeping. Kartik also went to sleep dreaming about his wife.

The next day came as everyone got up for haldi. Yash's haldi was at his home while rose haldi was at Singhania sadan. Kartik quietly took kuhu and mishti to Singhania sadan. They were in no state to be seen by other family members. After yash's haldi the members came to Singhania house.

The family members were applying haldi to rose. Meanwhile kartik was getting flashbacks of his haldi. He was looking at naira who looked back at him with exactly the same thought in her mind. After applying haldi to rose he signaled naira to follow him.

He was in her room and naira came a few minutes later. She closed the door.

Naira :- kya hua? Tumne aise kyu bulaya.

Kartik didn't say anything but brought forward a bowl which was in his hand. Naira was surprised to see haldi in it.

Naira :- ye sab kya hai ?

Kartik :- pichli baar tumhe haldi lagane ki mera icha adhuri reh gayi thi. Iss baar moka mila hai. Kaise jaane deta haath se.

Naira smiled and came forward. Kartik took haldi in his hands and gently applied on her face. Naira moved forward to take haldi in her hands but kartik stopped her.

Naira :- arey, mughe bhi toh haldi lagani hai tumhe.

Kartik didn't say anything, instead he leaned down and touched his cheek to hers and rubbed them together. He repeated the same on the other side.

Kartik :- ye lo. Maine laga li tumhare pyaar ki mehndi.

They both looked at each other and smiled.

Naira :- acha ab tum jao. Kisi ne dekh liya na toh abhi tamasha ban jaega.

Kartik didn't want to but he knew naira was right so he quietly went out of the room.

It was evening time when naira came down dressed for the wedding. Kartik looked at her and was just lost in her. She looked so beautiful, so sweet, so amazing. She looked like an angel descending from heaven. Kartik didn't even realise when naira came near him.

Naira :- kaisi lag rahi hoo main?

Kartik :- bilkul mere sapno ki naira jaisi.

Naira :- aur vo kaisi hai?

Kartik :- bahut hi pyari, sabse sundar, ek baar dekhe toh dekhte reh jaye, nazar na hate, dhadkane bhad jaye, sansein–

Naira :- bas bas bas. Itni taarif mat karo ki mughe khud khudi se jealousy hone lage.

Kartik :- meri nazar se dekhogi na toh khud khudi se pyaar bhi ho jaega.

Naira blushed and went from there.

The marriage was going on without any problem. Kartik had found out yash's shoes and was wearing them. Currently the pheras were going on and kartik and naira were standing together. They looked at each other as they were reminded of there own wedding. Kartik could still remember the day as it was yesterday.

Kartik took naira to a secluded corner. Naira looked at him with questioning eyes. Kartik held out a box infront of her. She opened it to find sindur.

Kartik :- I know tum abhi ye isliye nahi lagati ki kisi ko pata na chale but just for today.

Naira smiled.

Naira :- ye mere suhaag ki nishani hai. Iske liye tumhe poochne ki zaroorat nahi hai agar tum keh dete toh mein apne aap hi laga leti. Lao do.

Kartik :- nahi. Ye mein khud lagaonga tumhe.

Kartik took the sindur applied on her beneath her maang tika. He just looked at her and kissed her forehead. Suddenly they heard footsteps. They immediately separated.

Mishti :- bff?

Kartik came :- haa mishti.

Mishti :- vo aapko taiji bula rahi hai. Joote ke liye.

Kartik :- haa. Main abhi aaya.

Mishti went. Kartik gave naira a quick hig who was still hiding and came to the main hall.

Naira came after sometime after fixing her maang tika. They both looked at each other and smiled.
