It was a week later when the entire Goenka family came to Rishikesh. Currently they were waiting for kartik and naira in the cottage. Kartik and naira came after a few minutes. Luv - kush were the first to run towards them. Kartik opened his arms to hug them but instead they ran towards naira shouting ' tina bhabhi '.

Kartik :- acha beta. Bhabhi ke aate hi bhai ko bhool gaye.

L&k :- arey bhaiyya. Bhabhi is special.

Mansi, keerti and Shubham came near her and all of them hugged her one by one. Kartik and naira went towards dadi and touched her feet. They touched the feet of all the elders.

Suhasini dadi :- swarna. Vo nazar ko thali lekar aana.

Dadi did nazar of them and then said :- nazar na lage mere pote aur bahu ko. Thu thu thu thu thu.

They all sat down and before they could say anything. Naira spoke first.

Naira :- vo main aap sab se kuch kehna chahti hoon.

Manish :- haa beta bolo na.

Kartik pointed to mansi to take l&k inside. After the kids went.

Naira :- aap sabne mughe itna pyaar diya hai. Aur ab mein aur kartik ek pavitra bandhan mein bandhane jaa rahe hai. Isliye mein aapko kuch batana chahti hoon mere past ke baare mein.

Naira looked at kartik who held her hand in support. Slowly naira told everything about her past to the Goenka's. Her home town, her kidnapping, her picnic, the train accident, the police, her running away and her real name. The only thing she hadn't told kartik and the others was her surname. By the end everyone was quiet as no one knew what to say but then slowly dadi got up. She came towards naira who stood up. For a moment dadi didn't say anything but she surprised naira by hugging her.

Suhasini dadi :- humein garv hai tum par. Bachi thi tum aur tumne itna kuch saha. Sharm aati hai ye soch kar ki aaj bhi itne ghatiya log hai. Aaj tumne ye saabit kar diya ki tum ek bahut bahadur ladki ho.

Surekha :- haa naira. Tum bahut bahadur ho and we are proud of you.

All of them nodded. Suddenly kartik hugged naira from behind. Naira was startled.

Naira :- ye kya kar rahe ho.

Kartik :- Arey mein toh bas tumhare aur dadi ke saath group hug kar raha hoon.

Swarna :- group hug ya sirf naira ko hug.

Kartik blushed. Everyone laughed.

Kartik :- arey group hug hai. Chaho toh aap log bhi aa jao.

Suddenly the entire family came and hugged them from all sides. Naira felt the love from her new family and tears came to her eyes but she stopped them. After such a long time naira had a family and she was very happy.

After sometime all of them were sitting and chatting when kartik gave something to dadi.

Kartik :- dadi ye naira ki kundli hai aap jitni jaldi ho sake utni jaldi ki taarik nikal vana.

Dadi laughed :- acha hum baat karte hai.

Dadi sent the photos of naira's kundli to the family priest. Then she turned towards the whole family.

Suhasini dadi :- beta humne shaadi ke baare mein kuch socha hai.

Manish :- haa maa. Boliye na.

Suhasini dadi :- hum soch rahe the ki shaadi jyada dhoom - dhaam ki bajaye ek simple si rakhenge. Jyada functions kuch nahi bas mainly haldi, shaadi aur phir udaipur jaakar ghar ki rasmein, muh dikhai aur ek acha sa reception.

Akhilesh :- maa lekin. Itne kam functions kyu?

Suhasini dadi :- vo isliye ki hum ek simple shaadi rakhna chahte hai. Tum toh jaante ho ki bahar ke log aaenge, tarah - tarah ki baatein banayege, aur hamare pote aur bahu ko koi kuch bolega toh humein acha nahi lagega. Aur baaki rasmo ka apna apna matlab hai lekin mainly toh shaadi hi hoti hai na.

Everyone was silent because dadi had a point. All the events like sangeet, mehndi can not be done in this situation as naira lives in an orphanage. It was naira who spoke up.

Naira :- mere khyaal se dadi thik keh rahi hai. Mere liye koi function utne mayne nahi rakhte jitna mere liye aap sab ka saath mayne rakhta hai. Mere liye itna hi kaafi hai ki aap sab mere saath hai aur vo apne aap mein hi ek bahut bada utsav hai.

Everyone smiled at her words. Suddenly dadi gets a call. She picks up the call.

Suhasini dadi :- ji kahiye. Kya? arey lekin... Agli taarik kab hai. Usse pehle kuch... Acha.

She cuts the call. Everyone was staring at her.

Shubham :- kya hua dadi?

Suhasini dadi :- pandit ji ka phone tha. Keh raha tha ki shaadi ka sabse acha muhrat abhi aane wali 25 ko hai. Aur uske baad agle 6 mahine tak koi muhrat nahi hai.

All :- kya?

Suhasini dadi :- haa.

Kartik :- nai nai. Mein tab tak wait nahi kar Sakta. Issi 25 ko shaadi hogi.

Naira just nodded her head.

Swarna :- arey toh tumhe kya lagta hai ki hum log wait kar payenge apni bahu ka tab tak.

Suhasini dadi :- swarna thik keh rahi hai. Tak tak intezaar nahi ho paega.

Manish :- maa lekin 25 ko sirf 20 din baaki hai. Itni jaldi kahan se ho paega sab kuch.

Suhasini dadi :- vo sub hum nahi jaante Manish. Bas issi 25 ko shaadi hogi. Swarna, surekha, keerti. Tum aaj hi naira ko yahan ki best jagah le jaakar shaadi ka lehnga chuno. Manish, Akhilesh, Shubham aaj ki aaj kartik ki sherwani chuno. Samghe??

All :- ji.

Dadi called the house staff and started telling them what to do. Meanwhile all of them went shopping to buy the groom and bride clothes for there wedding.

It was evening time when they came back the clothes will be ready in week. All of them were discussing what to do next while kartik and naira were back in the garden. Naira was looking up when kartik came from behind and held her wrapping his arms around her waist.

Kartik :- naira.

Naira :- hmmm.

Kartik :- sach batana. Tumhe dadi ki baat ka bura toh nahi laga na.

Naira :- dadi ne bilkul thik kaha. Mughe pata hai ki log mere ashram vali baat par kuch na kuch jaroor kahenge. Aur jab tak tum aur poora mere saath hai, mughe aisi baaton se koi farak nahi padta.

Kartik :- I Love you mrs. Goenka.

Naira :- I love - ek min. abhi tak mein tumhari biwi nahi bani.

Kartik :- toh kya hua. Keval 20 din hi bache hai. Uske baad tum hamesha ke liye sirf aur sirf meri ho jaogi. Mrs. Naira kartik Goenka. Sunne mein hi kitna acha lag raha hai.

Naira smiled :- I love you too my future hubby.

Kartik :- haaye.

Shubham came into the garden when he suddenly saw them and immediately covered his eyes.

Shubham :- arey maine kuch nahi dekha.

Naira and kartik immediately separated.

Shubham :- arey sach mein kuch nahi dekha.

Kartik :- Shubham ke bache. Teri toh mein.

Shubham :- main toh bas itna kehne aaya tha ki dadi ne andar bulaya hai aap dono ko. Chal main chalta ab . Bye bye.

Shubham ran inside. Kartik looked towards and moved to hug her but she also ducked and ran inside.

Kartik followed her. They went inside. Everyone was in the living room.

Suhasini dadi :- acha hua kittu. Tum aa gaye. Ach hum sab kal ki kal vaapas jaa rahe hai.

Kartik :- kya par kyu ?

Suhasini dadi :- arey kyun ka matlab hai. Itni saari tayyariyan karni hai. Ghar decorate karna hai. Bahu ke aane ki taiyyari. Shaadi hai. Bahut kaam honge abhi. Akhilesh.

Akhilesh :- ji maa.

Suhasini dadi :- kal ki kal hi sabko ghar  bulana. Kal se hi kaam chalu karna hai. Naira beta.

Naira :- ji dadi.

Suhasini dadi :- beta. Shaadi ke samay tumhara kanyadaan kon karega.

Naira thought for a moment and said :- dadi. Negi uncle. Yahan aane ke baad unhone hi mughe sambhala tha toh ye kaam vahi karenge.

Suhasini dadi :- thik hai beta. Surekha vo kangan.

Surekha gave 2 kangana to dadi.

Suhasini dadi:- beta. Yeh hamare khandani kangan hai. Yeh lo.

Naira protested but then gave into dadi's wishes.

Time passed. The Goenka's went back to Udaipur and then came back a week before the wedding. To Kartik's suprise and delight priyanka massi also came. Kartik and naira's wedding clothes had fitted them perfectly. Kartik wanted to see her in that lehnga but naira told him to wait till the wedding day.

The ashram was decorated beautifully. It was decided that wedding will happen in the ashram. All the kids were given new clothes. All the college friends of naira were attending and few other people who have know her. A small mehndi ceremony was conducted in the ashram. Kartik and naira both applied mehndi on there hands. It was after the ceremony when dadi dropped the bomb.

Kartik and naira :- kya? Par kyu ?

Suhasini dadi :- arey kyun kya. Bas humne keh diya na.

Kartik :- par dadi please.

Suhasini dadi :- par var kuch nahi. Humne keh diya toh keh diya.

Naira :- magar -

Suhasini dadi :- chup ho jao. Bas. Bilkul chup. Manish, Akhilesh aur Shubham tum teeno dhyaan se suno. Agar humne pata chala ki tumne kartik ki madad ki toh usse pehle hum tum teeno ki khabar lenge. Samagh gaye.

All three :- ji.

Suhasini dadi :- aur bacho. Ashram mein didi ka dhyaan tum rakhna. Thik hai ?

All the kids :- ok.

Kartik and naira looked at each other desperately and then lowered there heads.
It was because of the fact that dadi had forbidden them not to meet before the wedding which was in two days.

It was night time and kartik was already missing naira so he decided to sneak out. Everyone was sleeping. He quietly went out of the house and was about to start his bike when suddenly someone touched his shoulder.

Kartik :- aahhhhh. Kon hai ??

Manish :- tumhara pita. Ye kahan jaa rahe ho?

Kartik :- vo vo mein. Arey kitni achi hawa chal rahi hai toh maine socha ki thodi der hawa hi khaloo bike pe.

Manish :- acha. Baap ko bewkoof bana raha hai. Chalo andar.

Kartik :- Papa jaane do na.

Manish :- nahi. 2 din ki hi toh baat hai. Uske baad hamesha ke liye tumhare saath hi rahegi vo. Chal ab.

Kartik just nodded his head and went inside.
