Thirty minutes later, Hinata and Shigure arrived at Sohma Corporation. Hinata unbuckles the seatbelt, and she turns her gaze to Shigure.

" Thank you so much! I would hug you, but I don't know you." Hinata stated.

" It's understandable. And besides, I'm not a huggable person." Shigure chuckled.

" Good to know." Hinata giggled.

" Also, what's your name? You got in my car, yet I don't know your full name?" Shigure looks at Hinata.

" Oh!" Hinata blushes, looking embarrassed. " My name is Hinata Fukuzawa." She smiled.

" Happy Sunny Place." Shigure's grey eyes blinked. " You must be a cheerful person then." He teases.

" Not really. I mean, I used to be happy and cheerful. But stuff happened, and now I had to wake up from my fantasy and grow up in reality." Hinata muttered. " As our elders always tell us, young folks, we need to put our feet on the ground and become adults." She gets out of the red sports car.

Shigure's grey eyes intently stared at Hinata.

" Not all of us have to grow up and become fully functioning adults," Shigure commented, causing Hinata to raise an eyebrow. " We can still have fun." He smiled. " Just because one obstacle came into your life doesn't have to mean you can stop being your cheerful, happy self." He held his hand out to her.

Hinata's chocolate brown eyes blinked.

" Let's high-five! I want to make sure you get that job of yours." Shigure goofily smiled.

Hinata's chocolate brown eyes widened. " You are weird! But that is what is making me like you." She giggled. " I hope you don't mind us being friends." She closed her eyes and smiled.

Shigure looked at Hinata with mixed emotions.

" I would love to be friends with you!" Shigure high-fives Hinata.

" Great! And thanks again for dropping me off. You are a lifesaver!" Hinata bows. She turns and waves goodbye. She runs towards the building and gets inside.

Shigure watched Hinata enter the building. " Darn! I forgot to ask for her number." He muttered. " Oh, well! I might as well nap since I have nothing else to do." He locks the door and leans against his seat, making himself comfortable.

A ringing sound gets heard inside the Sohma's house, but no one is home. A voicemail started to play, informing who was calling that Shigure wasn't home. Soon a beeping sound gets heard, and a feminine voice shouts.

" Shigure-sensei! It's Mitsuru, your editor! Where are you, and why don't you pick up the phone? Where are your manuscripts? You do remember that your deadline is coming up for your upcoming novel! Please return my call once you hear this message!"

Shigure sneezed inside the car and looked at his surroundings. " I wonder who is talking about me?" He asked while tilting his head. " Oh, well!" He turns his gaze to the building. " Good luck, Hina-chan~." He smiled.

Hinata enters the building and walks towards the receptionist. " Good morning! My name is Hinata Fukuzawa. I have an appointment with Mr. Hayato Sohma." She smiled.

The receptionist nodded. She looked at the computer screen and spotted Hinata's name on Hayato's schedule. " I found you! Let me inform Mr. Sohma of your arrival." She smiled.

Hinata nodded. She turned and looked at her surroundings, seeing employees walking and conversing with each other. Her chocolate-brown eyes blinked when she saw a thirteen-year-old teen with wavy yet unruly golden blonde hair and honey-colored eyes wearing feminine clothing stare at her curiously from beside a tall plant.

' A foreigner!' Hinata internally exclaimed.

Hinata waved at the teen, causing them to smile and wave. She opened her mouth to say something but stopped when she heard her name. She looked away and turned her gaze to the receptionist.

" Mr. Sohma is waiting for you in his office. It's on the seventy-seventh floor." The receptionist looks at Hinata. " His secretary is aware of your arrival as well." She informed the young woman.

Hinata nodded. " Thank you! Have a good day." She turned, wondering if the teen was still there, but to her surprise, they were gone.

' They must have gone to find their parent.' Hinata internally speaks. She looked away and walked towards the elevator. She stepped inside and turned to face the numbers. She pressed the 77th button and watched the doors close.

' Okay, Hinata Fukuzawa. All you have to do is convince Hayato Sohma that you are a reliable adult and will take good care of his daughter.' Hinata internally speaks. ' Remember. All this is to help your niece out so that she wouldn't have to work and that she can continue having a normal teenage life.' She closed her chocolate brown eyes and nodded.

A couple of minutes later, the elevator stopped moving, and the doors opened. Hinata stepped out and approached the secretary, who informed her that Hayato was waiting for her inside.

Hinata walked towards the office and knocked on the door. She breathed in and out when she heard Hayato telling her to come inside. She opens the door and looks forward, seeing Hayato on his desk, looking through some paperwork.

" Good morning, Mr. Sohma! My name is Hinata Fukuzawa. I am here for the babysitter/tutor position you posted online." Hinata speaks, causing Hayato to look at her.

" Ah! Ms. Fukuzawa. Please, come and sit." Hayato motioned to the empty chair in front of his desk.

Hinata entered the office, and her chocolate brown eyes blinked, seeing a six-year-old girl with wavy golden blonde hair and honey-colored eyes, wearing a cute dress, staring at her from a child-like lilac-colored table to her right.

' She must be Momo.' Hinata internally speaks. She smiled, thinking that Momo looked like a real-life porcelain doll with her German physical features.

Hinata looked away and turned her gaze to Hayato. She noticed that the older male had dark brown hair and hazel-colored eyes. She immediately figured that Momo inherited most of her looks from her mother, Beatrice.

Hinata walks towards the desk and sits down. She and Hayato shook hands, and they began to converse.

An hour later, Hinata finished her job interview. She stands and bows, thanking Hayato for allowing her to meet him, and hopes to be working as his daughter's babysitter/tutor soon.

" I need to speak to my wife. If she likes your resume, I will contact you to let you know when you can start looking after Momo." Hayato softly smiled.

Hinata nodded. She turns her gaze to Momo and waves at her. Her gaze softened when she saw the young female stare at her shyly.

" Have a good day, Mr. Sohma!" Hinata waves goodbye. She turns around and walks out of his office.

" You too. Thank you for coming." Hayato nodded. He turns his gaze to Momo and stares at her fondly.

Hinata closed the door, walked towards the elevator, got inside, and pressed the Main floor button.

" I can't believe it!" Hinata leans against the wall, feeling the elevator move. " I might get this job!" She brightly smiled, looking excited. " I need to tell Tohru. But I might tell her later because I still don't know if Hayato's wife will approve of me being her daughter's babysitter/tutor." She murmured.

A couple of minutes later, the elevator stopped moving, and the doors opened. Hinata stepped out and walked out of the building. She was about to head to a nearby cafe to celebrate but stopped when she saw the red sports car.

" Wait. Is it the same car?" Hinata asked. She looked at her surroundings, seeing people walking past her. She looked back at the red sports car and decided to approach it.

" Shigure?" Hinata's chocolate brown eyes blinked when she saw Shigure sleeping inside.

Shigure wakes up when he hears his name. He opens his grey eyes and smiles when he sees Hinata standing outside his red sports car.

" Why are you still here?" Hinata asked. " I thought you would have left already." She looked at Shigure worryingly.

" I was tired, so I thought it would be nice to take a nap and wait for you to get out so we can hang out and get to know one another," Shigure responded.

Hinata's chocolate brown eyes blinked, looking bewildered. She couldn't believe that Shigure had waited an hour for her to finish her job interview.

" So, how did it go?" Shigure asked, looking at Hinata innocently.

" I think I might have gotten the job." Hinata smiled brightly, causing the sunlight to shine upon her, giving her a glowing effect.

Shigure looked at Hinata with mixed emotions. ' She should keep smiling.' He internally speaks.

" Great! Why don't we go out and celebrate? My treat!" Shigure smiled.

Hinata's chocolate brown eyes widened. " I don't want to be a burden!" She shouts.

" You won't!" Shigure opens the passenger door from inside the red sports car. " Name the place, and I'll take you there." He smiled.

Hinata got inside the red sports car and looked at Shigure with mixed emotions. ' It's been so long since I celebrated something with someone close to my age.' She internally speaks. ' And Tohru must be at school right now. So, it wouldn't hurt to celebrate getting a new job with Shigure.' She smiled.

" Can we go to Moonbucks and get coffee and pastries?" Hinata asked, looking bashful.

" Sure!" Shigure nodded. He watched Hinata put on the seatbelt, and he began to drive away, heading to their next destination to celebrate Hinata getting a potential new job.
