Once varun left the studio shraddha came out of the desk and was going out when shanaya stopped her and said " you better keep your awful mouth shut or else you know the consequences"
As if i have any other option, shraddha thought but she replied with just a simple ok.
She then went out and directly went to the class as the break time was over. She saw all her friends were already there and so when she went towards them all had worried look on them. Even varun had come back and had the same expression. Before she reached them she pulled down her sleeve so that they don't see the mark happened when shanaya grabbed her wrists tightly.
When she reached them they immediately asked her what took her so long and did something happened to her or did shanaya did something to her. She was very happy she finally has people who she can lean on and will have her back.
Varun was looking at her intensely all the time and so when everyone went back to talking he took her hand and pulled her to the back and checked her here and there. Her cheeks turned red when she felt shivers whenever he touched her. He was going to pull her sleeves up when she stopped him and asked him " varun what are you doing? Everyone will be looking at us"
"I don't care about everyone. I wanna make sure you are ok"
" I'm fine don't worry"
She looked over and saw shanaya looking at them. She immediately pushed varun slightly and went back to her seat.
Shanaya was getting jealous and couldn't take it anymore and planned to teach her a lesson today it self.
After the classes were over Varun offered to drop her home but she didn't want shanaya to threaten her more and so she rejected. But everyone insisted or more like forced her to come with them somewhere. She didn't have any choice but to go.
They went to an eat out place where there was games and dance floor and everything. They ordered food and until then the boys were playing games except for Siddharth and varun. The girls were also sitting and talking. When finally food arrived they the boys immediately stopped playing games and immediately started eating.
Shraddha only took few bites and everyone was worried watching her eat so little so they asked her why was she eating so little. She told them that her appetite was only this much. They didn't force her to eat as maybe she may get sick if she eats beyond her capacity but they ordered various food to know what she likes. They ordered burgers, fries, tacos, pizza everything and told her to try everything. She took a bite of each one but the one thing she took more than one bite was pizza. They were happy that she finally took a whole slice of the pizza and thankfully it was a big slice. After that they ordered dessert and varun knew she would love this one as she loves desserts. So they had ordered ice-cream with brownie. As soon as the dessert arrived her eyes twinkled and her face was like a 5 year old. Everyone were amazed and happy seeing this side of shraddha and so they ordered an extra for her. After they were done it was time for the bill and Shraddha was taking money from the wallet but everyone stopped her. But she was not listening to them and so raghav told her it was his birthday and so it was a treat but Shraddha was good at remembering the birthdays and so she knew it was not his birthday. But he immediately then told her it was his dog's birthday and so he is giving treat. She give him a blank look and asked him why his dog is not here. He didn't have reply for that and so alia told her that the dog is with his grandparents and raghav misses him and so he decided to give a treat. She didn't believe that completely but then gave in to their lies. This was the first time she was this happy and enjoying after her father's death. She was smiling fully looking at her crackhead friends. Varun for a second forgot about his cindrella and was mesmerized by Shraddha's beauty. It was his first time watching her smile like this and so he secretly took a photo and was smiling too. Shraddha wished this was her everyday life but it cannot happen but knowing they will have her back no matter what she wanted to forget about her sad reality atleast for now and she did and enjoyed this moment.

After picking up pihu and ruhi dropping Kiara, bunty and raghav, Varun dropped shraddha and bid her goodbye.
Shraddha checked the garage and was relieved when she didn't see her stepfather's car. She went inside with ruhi happily but her happiness was only for a few seconds when she saw her stepfather standing in front of her with a smirk.
"H...ho...how ar.."
"How am i here you are asking?...oh my sweet innocent shraddha... You thought i didn't know how you always check the garage to see whether I'm there or not. That's why today i parked my car a few blocks away and thankfully you didn't see it because you were busy with your lover boy"
"Please... Why are you doing this?"
"Oh you see first of all i still remember the time you pushed me and second of all you are trying to seduce my daughter's boyfriend and it's working"
"I... I pushed you as a self defence...and i am not trying to seduce Shanaya's boyfriend...varun is not her boyfriend and i didn't do anything...he is the who talks to me... I don't...please don't do anything"
Shraddha literally begged him but he was not listening.
He was coming towards her and Shraddha quickly pushed ruhi and told her to go inside. She was at first hesitant but then she knew she didn't have a choice.

He grabbed her very tightly and started twisting it... She screamed due to pain.
"You bitch stop screaming"
And he slapped her and then smashed her head against the wall. Blood started coming from her head. As a reflex she pushed him and so he got more angry and he smashed the alcohol bottle and then was coming towards her with the broken bottle.
"You bitch you again pushed me today i will kill you."
"No no please I'm so sorry i didn't do it intensionally... Please my sister will be left alone please."
"Oh don't worry after you it is her turn"
"No no no no please please don't do anything to her...she is just a kid...please"
"Shut up!" He grabbed her hair and put the bottle to her throat.
"Any last wishes you have?"
But then the door was smashed open and inside came the police and varun.

The door was opened and inside came police and Varun. Shraddha was almost in the state of unconsciousness.
Varun quickly grabbed her before she fell and the police grabbed her step father and put handcuffs on him.
Ruhi came downstairs and hugged Varun. The police then said "thanks to the kid we got here on time. We should inform this to your mother"
Shraddha quickly replied "no no please...i don't want to get know it yet...she is attending an important meeting and i don't want her to leave that and come here... When she comes i will inform her and only at that time you arrest him please."
"But we cannot leave you here alone... He might kill you and your sister"
Shraddha knew he was right but she didn't have any choice. Just then Varun spoke "she and ruhi will stay with me and my family sir and don't worry i will not let this man even touch them"
"Okay if that's the case you girls can quickly grab your bags and till then we are here"
Shraddha was not in a state to even walk and so Varun quickly grabbed all her and ruhi's belongings and then put them in his car. He noticed that Shraddha was very weak and so he picked her up and held ruhi's hand and put shraddha in front and told ruhi to get inside and they went to his house.

When they reached Varun's house his mom was there and she noticed a wounded shraddha being carried by Varun. She ran towards them with concerned eyes and asked what happened to her. Varun explained her everything. She then said
"oh my god! Poor girl she suffered for so many years. Let me call a doctor. Varun you take her and ruhi to the guest room."
"Ok mom"
He then carried her to the guest room and put her carefully on the bed.
After a few minutes the doctor arrived and treated her and asked them to buy some medicines. Varun was going to go when his mother stopped him. He gave her a questioning look.
"You stay here I will go."
"No mom it's fine, i can go"
" No beta. What if her stepfather comes here...she needs to be safe."
He then agreed and his mother left to buy the medicines.
There was an awkward silence for a moment then he saw there was a small wound on shraddha's neck so he took the first aid kit and came closer to shraddha. Shraddha got surprise when Varun suddenly came closer to her. He removed her hair from her shoulders and then he took the cotton and poured some medicine. He put the cotton on to the wound and shraddha hissed at the pain. So varun blowed and put the cotton and then finally put the bandage. Only after it was done they realised they were so close. They immediately went back. Varun then asked her " why didn't you tell anybody about this shraddha? Not even me!? Why? Didn't you trust me?"
"It's not like that Varun. It was just..."
"Just what shraddha?"
"He had blackmailed me that he will kill my sister if i told this to anybody"
" You could have atleast told me. I would have dealt with that guy"
"No i know he is a dangerous man and i could not see you also getting hurt because you are one of the important people for me"
He turned his head towards her and then asked "why am i important to you Shraddha?"
"Um... because you... Are my friend"
" Are you sure only because of that?"
"Ye..yes"
He came even more closer to her and held her head " you still sure?"
Her body got goosebumps when he held her head.
" Yes that's the only answer."
He got even more closer and kissed her head.
She was shocked. He then told her "you take a rest now I will go"
She couldn't say anything as she was sill in shock. He looked at her shocked face and then smirked and asked " what happened shraddha...why are you so lost?"
"No... Nothing...um I'm just tired i will be okay once i sleep"
He laughed at that but then decided to let her sleep and so he told her to get some rest and walked out of the room.
