She looked at him who was waiting for the answer and frowned

Karan: Preeta I am still waiting for the answer

Preeta (looks down): Mu.. mujhe bhi nahi pata ki mu.. mujhe kya ho gaya tha.. par.. par jab.. jab maine suna ki tumhari etni saari girlfriends thi.. mujhe bohot gussa aaya.. (Karan looked at her being surprised) aur mujhe bhi nahi pata ki aisa ku hua (frowns)

Karan looked at her and controlled his smile knowing the reason

Karan: Par.. par tumhe gussa ku aaya?

Preeta (annoyed): Kaha naa mujhe nahi pata.. bass aa gaya.. abb please baar baar mujhse sawal puchna band karo

Karan: Okk okk nahi puchta.. tum.. tum gussa matt karo.. (mutters) gusse mai bohot danger lagti ho

Preeta: Kya.. kya kaha tumne?

Karan (nervously): Na.. nahi.. mai.. maine kaha kuch kaha.. tumhare jaan baj rahe honge

Preeta (glared at him): Mere kaan nahi baj rahe.. maine suna.. ki tumne kaha.. mai gusse mai bohot danger lagti hu

Karan (irritated): Abb jab sunn hi liya toh puch ku rahi ho?

Preeta (angrily): Tum mere upar gussa kar rahe ho?.. aaj subha Tak toh bada sweetly baat kar rahe the.. aur jaise hi maine tumse friendship ki.. tum mujhpe gussaa karne lage?

Karan: Mai gussa nahi kar raha.. mai bass irritate ho gaya hu

Preeta: Wow.. toh abb mujhse irritate bhi ho gaye

Karan looked at her unbelievably

Karan (whispers): God she is dangerous (to her) okk I am sorry.. mai.. mai abb kuch nahi bolunga.. okk?

Preeta rolled her eyes and went towards the bed and lay there

Karan shook his head unbelievably

Karan (in mind): Mujhe laga tha.. ki yeh bohot shaant aur masoom hai.. par yeh toh badi khatarnak nikli.. woh toh accha hua.. ki maine isee jhooth bola ki meri 10 girlfriends hai.. agar isee pata chal jaata.. ki mujhe toh count bhi nahi.. ki meri ketni girlfriend thi.. toh pata nahi kya karti but (smiles) I like the way she got possessive for me.. I hope.. ki yeh iss rishte ko bhi jaldi accept kar le (Smiles looking at her)

He then sighs and went towards couch and layed there

Next Morning

Karan opened his eyes hearing some noises and looked at Preeta who was getting ready while standing in front of mirror

He smiled seeing her looking all pretty.. he sat straight and looked at her lostly keeping his palms on his cheeks

Her look

Feeling some gaze Preeta turned and looked at Karan who was looking at her lostly

She looked away feeling nervous

Preeta (in mind): Yeh isee kya ho gaya.. mujhe aise ku dekh raha hai.. mai acchi nahi lag rahi hu kya? (turned towards the mirror) sab kuch theek toh hai.. phir yeh aise ku ghur raha hai mujhe

She again turned towards him

Preeta: Karan (Karan came back to senses and looked at her) tum.. tum mujhe aise ku dekh rahe ho.. mai acchi nahi lag rahi hu kya?

Karan: Na.. nahi.. kisne kaha yeh.. (smiles) tum toh bohot beautiful lag rahi thi

Preeta blushed slightly listening to him but immediately composed her

Preeta: Toh.. phir tum mujhe aise ghure ku jaa rahe the?

Karan (nervously): Mai.. mai kaha ghure jaa raha tha.. tum.. tumhe galatfehmi hui hogi..

Preeta (confused): Par..

Karan (making an excuse): Woh mujhe yaad aaya.. mujhe aaj acedmy jaldi jaa naa tha.. mai.. mai jaa ke fresh ho jaatu hu.. agar.. agar der ho gayi toh.. coach phir mujhe daant lagayenge

Before Preeta could say anything he stood up and immediately went inside the washroom

Preeta: Yeh thoda weird nahi hai.. (sighs) (realised) ohh no.. kal toh khaana bana ne mai Karan ne meri madad kar di thi.. aaj mai kya karungi..

'Tujhe khaana bana ne ki jarurat nahi hai.. maine nasta bana diya hai'

Preeta turned looked at Rakhi

Preeta: Rakhi maa.. woh..

Rakhi: Kuch bolne ki jarurat nahi hai.. mai jaanti hu.. ki tujhe khaana bana naa nahi aata hai

Preeta looked down with guilt

Preeta (lowly): I am.. sorry maa.. par.. mai..

Rakhi (smilingly): Sorry kehne ki jarurat nahi hai puttar.. khaana bana naa koi badi baat nahi hai.. jaruri nahi ki yeh har kisi ko aaye.. mai hu naa.. mai sikha dungi.. aur dekhna.. tu naa bohot jald mere khote puttar se bhi accha khaana bana ne lage gi

Preeta smiles with slight tears and hugged her

Preeta (breaking the hug): Thank you Rakhi maa.. mujhe samajhne k liye.. mai aapse promise karti hu.. mai bohot jaldi khaana bana naa seekh lungi

Rakhi: Woh toh mai tujhe sikha hi dungi.. par tu yeh bata ki tu hospital kabse join kar rahi hai?

Preeta (confused): Hospital?

Rakhi: Haa puttar.. tujhe nahi lagta ki abb tujhe hospital wapas join kar lrja chahiye.. etne dino see chutti mai hai tu.. shaadi aur shaadi k functions k kaaran.. par abb toh saare functions kahatm ho gaye.. toh kal se wapas join kar le.. tere patients ko problem ho rahi hogi naa

Preeta (happily): Mai.. mai apni job continue kar sakti hu?

Rakhi: Haa.. ku nahi kar sakti.. ?

Preeta (smiles sadly): Ku ki maa bhi mujhe allow nahi karti thi.. unhone kaha tha.. ki mai resign kar du.. shaadi k baad

Rakhi (shocked): Toh tune resign kar diya?

Preeta shook her head in no

Preeta: Maine socha tha.. ki mai aapse iss baare mai baat karungi.. par mujhe himmat nahi ho rahi thi.. mujhe laga ki aap mana kar dengi

Rakhi: Mai ku mana karungi bhala (cups her face) etni saari padhai.. tune aise hi ghar pe baithne k liye thode hi naa ki hai.. yeh mera order hai.. ki kal k kal tu wapas se hospital join karegi.. samjhi (Preeta smiles and nodes) abb chal.. neeche chal..

Preeta nodes and followed her

All were settled in the dining table and Preeta was serving them breakfast

Kareena looked at Preeta narrowing her eyes

Kareena: Aaj ka khaana bhi bologi ki tumne banaya hai

Preeta looked at her and nodes in no slightly

Kareena: Hadd hi ho gayi naa.. (to Rakhi) bhabhi shaadi ho gayi hai aapke bete ki.. ghar mai bahu aa gayi hai.. phir bhi aapko khaana bana naa pad raha hai

Kritia and Sameer looked at her and huffs

Preeta looked down

Kritka (in mind): Problem kya hai mom ki.. jab dekho be matlab ki bakwas karti rehti hai.. aaj phir Karan bhai se sunegi yeh

Mahesh: Toh kya badi baat ho gayi agar Rakhi ji ne khaana bana liya toh? Tujhe jaruri hai.. har roj breakfast k time ghar mai kalesh karne mai?

'Dad kya kare kuch log naa aadat se majboor hote hai'

All looked at Karan who came downstairs.. Kareena glared at him

Kareena: Tum kuch jyaada hi apni biwi liye zuban nahi chala rahe ho?

Karan: Haa jaise aap bhi aaj kal kuch jyaada hi meri biwi k peeche pad rahi hai

Kareena (angrily): Karan....

Karan (irritated): Bua please.. ku aap roj roj naya drama karti hai.. agar etni hi problem hai.. toh khud bana liya kariye apna khaana

He rolled his eyes and sat in his place.. Preeta was about to serve him but he stopped her and made her sit beside him

All smiled seeing his gesture except one.. (you know who)

Karan: Tum kab tak sabko serve karti rahogi.. tum bhi khaa lo abb.. Lao mai serve kar deta hu

Preeta: Par....

Before she could complete Karan served her and himself too

Karan: Chalo.. abb chup chap kaho

Preeta looked at him with little smile and nodes

Kritka (teasingly): Kya baat hai bhai.. badi chinta hai aapko bhabhi ki

Sameer: Aree hogi hi naa.. etna pyaar jo karte hai bhai bhabhi se

Karan glared at them while Preeta looked away feeling embarrassed

Rakhi: Bass karo tumlog.. ku pareshan kar rahe ho dono becharo ko

Kritka and Sameer chuckles

Karan......

All startled listening to voice and turned to see a girl standing at the door step

All smiled seeing the girl except Preeta

Karan stood up happily and went towards her.. he hugged her

Preeta opend her mouth wide looking at it

Karan (breaking the hug): Ohh my god Shruti.. tu yaha..

Shruti: Haa.. tu toh mujhe bhul gaye.. par mai nahi bhul sakti

Karan (chuckles): Aisa kuch nahi hai

Kritka and Sameer looked at Preeta who was looking at them being confused and a little jealousy which was visible on her face

Both looked at each other and grind

Kritka: Bhabhi (Preeta looked at her) aap yahi soch rahe ho naa yeh kaun hai (Preeta nodes) yeh Karan bhai ki best friend hai.. aur pata hai (smirks) dono naa.. bachpan se dost hai ekk dusre ko.. Shruti toh Karan bhai ko pasand bhi karti hai (winks at Sameer)

Preeta looked at her and then looked at Karan and Shruti who were talking happily

Shruti: Chal.. bohot paka liya tune mujhe.. abb mujhe uncle.. Aunty aur baaki se Milne de

She pushed him slightly and went towards the elders and touch their feet

They all blessed her

Rakhi: Ketne dino baad aayi hai tu yaha.. apni Rakhi aunty ki yaad nahi aati thi tujhe

Shruti (chuckles): Aisa nahi hai aunty.. woh mai bass thoda busy thi.. par (looks at Preeta) yeh kaun hai

Karan smiles and went towards her.. he holds her hand.. Shruti looked at him being confused

Karan (smiles): Yeh meri wife hai Shruti.. Preeta Karan Luthra

He looks at Preeta with smile but she looks away making him confused

Karan (in mind): Abb isee kya ho gaya

Shruti (shocked) What (Karan looked at her) tum ne shaadi kar li (Karan nodes) kab? 

Kritka: Do deen pehle

Shruti (still shocked): Kaise?

Sameer: Bhabhi k saath 7 phere lekar (all looked at him) what.. isi ne toh pucha kaise.. toh maine bata diya kaise (shrugs)

Shruti: But jahan tak mai Karan ko jaanti hu.. yeh toh humesa shaadi se dur bhagta tha

Kritka: Abb kya kare.. bhabhi hai hi etni sundar humari.. ki bhai ko shaadi se dur bhagte the.. ab woh bhabhi k peeche peeche bhagte hai

Sameer: Arre humari bhabhi hai hi etni sundar

Preeta smiles listening to them

Shruti: Yeh sunadar nahi hai.. (all looked at her) arre yeh bohot sunar hai

She went to Preeta and hugged her.. she broke the hug

Shruti (to Karan): Karan.. you really got lucky man.. etni sundar wife kaise mil gayi tujhe

Karan: Heyy.. excuse me

Shruti: No you are not excused.. tune shaadi bhi kar li.. aur mujhe bataya bhi nahi

Karan (nervously): Woh.. woh actually

Shruti: Kya woh woh (hits him)

Karan holds her hand stopping her

Karan: Tere haath pehle ki tarah abhi bhi bohot chalte hai

Shruti: Aur tera dimag pehle ki tarah bilkul bhi nahi chalta hai

Karan: You.... (Sighs and chuckles) I missed you (hugged her)

Preeta glanced at them sadly and then looked away

At night

Preeta was sitting on bed waiting for Karan

Preeta (frowns): Hadd hai.. subha se uss Shruti k saath busy hai.. shaam ko acedmy se aane k baad bhi usii k saath laga hua hai.. etni bhi kya baat karni hai..

Screen shifts

Shruti and Karan were sitting in terrace on the swing

Shruti: So you love her (Karan nodes) but she doesn't (Karan nodes)

Karan (sadly): Usne toh sayad abhi mujhe apna husband bhi accept nahi kiya hai.. she just consider me as her friend

Shruti: Wow.. that's interesting (Karan looked at her) what? Aise looks matt de.. it's really interesting.. maine aaj tak aisi situations bass tv shows mai hi dekhe hai.. how cute it will be.. jab usee bhi tujhse pyaar hoga

Karan (chuckles sadly): I don't think ki aisa hoga bhi kabhi

Shruti: Hoga.. maine dekha hai.. jab tu mujhe hug kar raha tha.. toh uski aankho mai jealousy dekhi Maine.. toh I am sure.. she is surely gonna love you.. and more then you love her

Karan: Are.. are you sure?

Shruti: 110% sure..

Karan (smiles): I will wait for that day

Shruti: Accha.. chal abb jaa.. she might be waiting for you

Karan nodes and left from there

Shruti: Preeta ko Karan pasand hai.. isko leke toh mai sure ho.. and I know.. ki mujhe kya karna hai.. jisse inki yeh love story aage badhegi.. (smiles)

Preeran's Room

Karan entered inside the room and looked at Preeta who was blabbering something while sitting on bed

Karan (in mind): Yeh apne se kya baate kiye jaa rahi hai (to her) Preeta

Preeta (angrily): Kya hai?

Karan flinched
