She went towards Preeta and cups her face looking at her with smile

Preeta smiled slightly listening to her

A lady: Sach mai Rakhi.. teri bahu toh bohot pyaari hai.. laakho mai ekk lag rahi hai

Lady 2: Mann naa padega.. ki tune apne bete k liye bohot acchi bahu chuni hai

And like this all started praising Preeta.. Karan smiled proudly listening to them

Kareena who was standing at a far glared Preeta

Kareena (in mind): Sabki aankho ko nahi pata kya ho gaya hai.. iss mamuli si ladki mai naa jaane kya dikh raha hai sabko.. jo sab iski tareef par tareef kare jaa rahe hai

Kritika looked at Preeta who was surrounded by the guests and then looked at Kareena who was glaring her

Kritika (sighs): Yeh mom bhi naa.. naa jaane kya problem hai inki bhabhi se.. kaise ghure jaa rahi hai unko.. bass yeh kuch garbar naa kare aaj

Preeta was talking to a random guest when someone called her

'Preeta kaisi hai beta'

Preeta froze listening to the voice and turned to see her parents standing there

Megha: Aree beta.. hume dekh k aise chouk ku gayi tu

Preeta: Woh mai.. mai bass.. aap.. aapko aise dekh k surprised ho gayi thi.. maa

Megha: Etna surprise ho gayi.. (smiled tightly) ki apne maa baap k pair lagna bhi bhul gayi

Preeta looked down and touched their feets

Vikram (Preeta's father): Yeh ladki naa.. humari naak pakka katayegi.. isee etna bhi nahi aata.. ki apne maa baap ko dekh kar.. unke pau chue

Preeta looked around to see some of the guests were looking at them only

Preeta (whispers angrily): Bass kariye aap dono.. chuu liye naa maine aapke pau.. ekk toh jabardasti meri shaadi karwayi aap dono ne.. abb kam se kam mere sasural mai toh drama matt create matt kariye please

Vikram glared at her angrily.. he raised his hand to slap her

Preeta closed her eyes being afraid but opened them after some seconds feeling nothing

She looked at Karan who was holding Vikram's hand

Karan leaves Vikram's hand and smiled fakely

Karan: Uncle.. oops dad.. yeh haath agar uthna hai naa.. toh sirf mujhe aur Preeta ko ashirwad dene k liye uthaiye gaa.. uske sivaaye aapka haath utha.. toh mera haath bhi neeche nahi rahega (Vikram looked at him angrily) mera matlab aapke haath ko rokne k liye mera haath neeche nahi rahega..

Vikram: Beta.. woh mai....

Karan: Koi baat nahi dad.. koi excuse dene ki jarurat nahi hai.. aap reception mai aaye hai naa apni beti k.. toh woh enjoy kijiye.. aur phir chale jaiye.. rahi baat Preeta ko kya karna chahiye.. kis k pau lagne chahiye.. kis k pau nahi lagna chahiye.. uski chinta aapko karne ki jarurat nahi hai.. mai hu naa uske liye.. uska pati.. (mummers) aap jaise logo k pair ko kabhi naa lagne du mai meri wife ko (to him) abb aap khade khade kya kar rahe hai.. jaiye.. mujhe meri wife se kuch baat karni hai

Vikram nodes smiling fakely and left from there feeling insulted.. Megha too left from there

Karan turned to look at Preeta who was already looking at him

Karan: I am sorry Preeta.. maine jaise tumhare parents k saath behave kiya uske liye.. but.. but woh tum pe haath uthane waale the.. aur mere rehte.. meri wife ko koi ekk kharoch tak nahi pohoncha sakta.. phir chahe woh tumahare dad bhi ku naa ho.. mai unhe rokunga.. ekk nhi so (100) baar rokunga

Preeta (smiled): Thank you.. tum.. tum sach mai bohot acche ho.. but still please papa se aise baat matt karna.. woh thore gusse waale hai par hai toh mere dad hi hai.. par hai toh mere papa hi

Karan looked at her unbelievably

Karan (in mind): Tumhare parents ne tumhare saath kya kya nahi kiya.. tab bhi unki chinta hai tumhe (sighs) (to her) umm chale.. sab tumhe khoj rahe the

Preeta nodes and left with him

Karan was introducing his friends to Preeta who were praising her

Listening to all of them Preeta looked at Karan and he immediately looked away

Karan (in mind): Hey bhagwan inn kameeno ne meri band baja k rakhni hai.. kya sochegi Preeta mere baare mai.. ki ketna bada tharki ladka hu mai

He glared all of them

Preeta (in mind): Karan ki etni saari girlfriends thi.. mujhe toh laga tha ki Karan bohot sidha sadha ladka hai.. par.. par mujhe iss baat se fark ku pad raha hai.. mai toh isee apna husband bhi nahi manti hu (closed her eyes irritatedly)

Sameer: Hello and welcome.. everyone.. jaisa ki aap jante hai.. ki aaj mere pyaare bhai aur bhabhi ki reception hai.. toh mai chahta hu.. ki aaj k iss special day ko aur spacial bana naa cahata hu.. apne bhai aur bhabhi ki.. ekk short performance k saath.. so bhai and bhabhi.. please come on the stage

All clapped listening him while Preeta looked around being nervous

Karan who noticed her nervousness thought to ask her the reason

Karan (whispers): Preeta kya hua? Nervous ku lag rahi ho?

Preeta (whispers back): Actually mujhe.. mujhe dance karna nahi aata hai.. mom dad ne aaj tak mujhe yeh sab karne nahi diya

Karan sighs

Karan: Dekho.. tum bilkul fikr matt karo.. mai tumhe guide karunga.. but agar tum comfortable nahi ho.. toh hum dance nahi karenge.. mai abhi sabko mana kar dunga

Preeta looked at everyone who were looking at them

Preeta: Tum.. tum mana matt karo.. par.. hum.. hum karenge dance.. par please.. tum mujhe guide karte rehna karna

Karan nodes smiling softly and he held her hand taking her to the stage

Megha (to Rakhi): Rakhi yeh sab kya hai.. tu rok ku nahi rahi.. aise tere ghar ki bahu.. sabke saamne dance karegi.. toh accha thore hi lage gaa.. maine bachpan se leke aak tak.. Preeta ko yeh sab karne nahi diya

Rakhi: Tujhe abb Preeta ki chinta karne ki koi jarurat nahi hai.. abb woh meri beti hai.. aur mujhe inn sab se koi problem nahi hai.. agar tujhe koi problem hai.. toh apni aankhe band kar le

Megha looked at her unbelievably while Rakhi looked at Preeran and smiled

All looked at them aww and clapped for them

Karan stands up and smiled at Preeta.. Preeta tried not to smile but failed and she too smiled

(I am sorry everyone but I don't know how to write dance steps.. so sorry for this crap)

Preeta came out after changing into her night dress.. she touched her hand where Karan kissed and smiled shyly

She remembered when Karan took stand for her in front of Kareena and then her parents

How he is always there to help her

She remembered how Rakhi and Mahesh never fails to praise her

Never ever in her life someone has shown this much care towards her.. she felt lucky to get such a beautiful family

A family which she always wanted.. the love and care she always wanted but never got in her life

And Karan.. he is literally the bestest husband one can ever wish for but then her mind reminded her that she don't consider him as her husband

Preeta (in mind): Yeh.. yeh kya ho raha hai.. mai.. mai toh Karan ko apna husband nahi maanti.. toh.. toh ku uske liye mai aisa feel kar rahi hu.. aur.. aur jab usne apni girlfriends k baare mai bataya.. toh mujhe etna bura ku laga?

Karan who just entered the room got confused seeing Preeta making faces

Karan (confused): Preeta..

Preeta came back to senses and looked at her

Preeta: Haa.. haa kya hua?

Karan: Kya soch rahi thi?

Preeta: Ku.. kuch toh nahi.. tum.. tum kab aaye?

Karan: Mai.. mai toh bass abhi aaya.. waise tumse ekk baat pucho) Preeta nodes) tum aaj etna weird ku behave kar rahi thi.. dance karte time?

Preeta remembered how she was taunting him while dancing and cursed herself in mind

She looked at him who was waiting for the answer and frowned
