Brody's POV

As we got inside and looked around "Dammit not again" Yosuke said as we hear a man yelling "Saki, how many times do I have to tell you?!" The man asked "I-Is this this....Senpai's dad....?" Yosuke asks "You know what the neighbors say about you right?!" The man asks "Aren't you ashamed of yourself? You're the eldest daughter of a family who's owned this store for grnerations!" He said "Is it the money? Or did you meet some guy there? Just tell me why you have to work THERE, of all places!" The man yelled 'Even her own family treated her like this?' I thought "I...I can't believe this...." Yosuke said and I'm with him this feels so surreal but this was Saki's reality when she arrived here. "She seemed like she had fun at work....She never said anything like this to me...." Yosuke said "You're telling me THIS was how Senpai really saw thing!?" He asks as we ran to a table "These photos....Hey.....Is this...?" Yosuke asks "It's the photo we took the other day with the other part-timers at Junes...." Yosuke said "Wh-Why is it cut up like this?" He asks and he's right the scrap of the photo shows Saki Konishi smiling...Yoduke standing next to her.

"I...never had the chance to say it..." We hear Saki's voice "Is that senpai's voice?!" Yosuke asks "I always wanted to tell Hana-chan...." Saki said "Huh...? Me...?" Yosuke asks "....that he was a real pain in the ass" Saki said 'Huh? What's with that change of attitude?' I thought "I was nice to him, just because he was the store manager's son, that's all..." Saki said.....that's... that's harsh. "But he takes it completely the wrong way and gets all enthusiastic....What a dip" She said "P-Pain in the ass...?" Yosuke asks hurt "Who cares about Junes anyway?" Saki asks "Because of that store, our business is ruined, my parents hate me, the neighbors talk behind my back..." She said 'That's not fair! She choose to work there! What is she even talking about?' I ask Izanagi 'Humans are like that Brody. Some have a facade or are hypocrites who blame others when it's convinient for them' Izanagi said "I wish everything would just disappear..." Saki said "I-It's a lie...This can't be..." Yosuke said "Senpai's not like that....!" He said "It's *sniff* so sad....I feel so sorry for myself...Boo hoo..." Yosuke said? What? It's Yosuke's voice but something sounds off as we look over and widen our eyes it's another Yosuke?!.

He looks exactly like Yosuke...well except for the pupils "Actually, I'm the one who thinks everything's a pain in the ass, Hahahaha..." The other Yosuke said as Teddie walks over to us "H-Huh? Two Yosukes....?" He asks and Yosuke walks to the other Yosuke "Who are you?!" Yosuke asks "I-I wouldn't think that..." He said "Hahaha....Yeah, right. How long are you going to keep deluding yourself?" The other Yosuke asks "Screw the shopping district, and Junes too! You're sick of everything, especially living out in the sticks!" He said "What're you saying...? That's not true, I--" Yosuke said "You put on a good show of being carefree and happy-go-lucky 'cause you're so terrified of being alone" The other Yosuke said "The more the merrier, right? You've gotta be surrounded by people to block out the pain of isolation" he said "And what's this about checking out this world for Saki-senpai's sake? Hah! I know the real reason you came snooping....with the prince of monsters no less" The other Yosuke said "S-stop it!" Yosuke said getting overwhelmed "Hahaha! Why so panickee? I thought I was just spouting bullshit! Or maybe... I DO know everything you're thinking!" The other Yosuke said "Why's that....? Because I AM you!" He said "You just came here because you thought it sounded like a good time! What else is there to do out in this shothole?" He asks "A world inside the TV--now that's exciting! You didn't have a single other reason for coming here, did you?! You just made all that bullshit about 'Finding the culprit' just to get Dreemurr's support isn't that right?!" The other Yosuke asks "That's not true....Stop....Stop it...." Yosuke said "You'rr just trying to act like anbig shot...If all went well, hey, maybe you could even be a hero!" The other Yosuke said "And that senpai you were so sweet on? Her death was the perfect excuse!" He said "That's not true!" Yosuke said angry "What are you?! Who are you?!" He asks "*chuckle* I already told ya" The other Yosuke said "I'm you...Your Shadow...There's nothing I don't know about you!" The other Yosuke said 'His shadow?' I thought "Screw that! I don't know you!" Yosuke said "You can't be me, you son of a bitch!!" Yosuke yelled but that only made the other Yosuke laugh insanely "That's right! Say it again!" The other Yosuke said  "You're not me! You're nothing like me!" Yosuke said "Hmph yeah that's right I am me now" The other Yosuke said "I'm not you anymore see?" The other Yosuke said as he shines bright while Yosuke walks back .

The other Yosuke transformed and as he did Yosuke passed out.

'Be on alert Brody' Izanagi said and I nodded "Teddie watch over Yosuke. I got this" I said "Y-Yes sensei! Be careful!" Teddie said walking over to Yosuke as I get in battle with the other Yosuke

(Hear this during this boss battle)

"I am a shadow...The true self..." Shadow Yosuke said "I'll crush everything that bores me.." Shadow Yosuke said "Starting with you little prince!" He said as he used wind of oblivion and it was Izanagi's weakness and he knocked me down, I took 18 damage as Shadow Yosuke gets another turn.

Shadow Yosuke is laughing maniacally....

"How long can your determination keep you alive?" Shadow Yosuke asks "This one's much stronger than the last type! Be careful sensei!" Teddie said "Whenever you feel threatened, jus defend yourself!" Teddie said 'The bear's right if you defend attacks that are your weakness you'll be taking normal damage and won't get knoced down' Izanagi said and I nodded standing up now my turn and I use skill and choose Zio "Izanagi!" I said breaking the card as Izanagi attacks with zio amd that was Shadow Yoduke's weakness as he took 23 damage and I get an extra turn and I use zio again making 29 damage and Shadow Yosuke gets up and he attacks me normally and I take 12 damage and In my turn I use zio "Izanagi!" I said as I make 23 damage knocking shadow Yosuke down giving me another turn and I use zio again dealing 28 damage as Shadow Yosuke gets up and he guards this time 'Remember what I said about guarding? Well it applies to your enemies too. Don't waste your SP on the weakness this turn' Izanagi said and I nodded so I just guard "Heh, that's it...? Boring..." Shadow Yosuke said and he uses wind of oblivion but since I'm guarding I don't get afflicted with the weakness and just take 5 damage and this time I use zio dealing 23 damage knocking him down and for my extra turn I attack normally dealing 25 damage as he gets up and uses power charge.

*Shadow Yosuke charged up!

'What does that mean?' I ask Izanagi 'Watch it his next physical attack is gonna deal more damage than normal. If you feel confident attack or just guard' Izanagi said as I use zio dealing 24 damage knocking him down and I use zio again dealing 28 damage as he gets up and hits me normally dealing 28 damage 'You're too reckless' Izanagi said, I have 18 HP left as I use zio in my turn dealing 24 damage 'Brody don't get careless' Izanagi said as I go through my items and use the medicine recovering 100 HP, I'm back to full HP 'Good job' Izanagi said as Shadow Yosuke gets up and he guards so I do the same "What a frickin' pain in the ass....! Stupid determination, stupid prince! Get outta my way!" Yosuke said using wind of oblivion but I only receive 6 damage and now I use zio dealing 24 damage knocking him down and I attack normally dealing 25 damage, he's almost dead as he gets up and power charges again but I use zio dealing 24 damage defeating him! As he lands on the ground defeated.

"I...I..." Yosuke said getting up "Yosuke! Are you okay?" I ask "Y-yeah....thanks to you" he said "but....what happened?" Yosuke asks and we look behind him to see Shadow Yosuke "...." Shadow Yosuke stayed silent "You...You're...not me..." yosuke said "That thing came from you yosuke..." Teddie said "You have to admit it...or it'll go berserk again" Teddie said but Yosuke seems reluctant to accept it...

"You're still yourself" I said to him "Myself...." Yosuke said looking at me "Dammit....it hurts to face yourself..." Yosuke said but walks over to Shadow Yosuke anyway "I knew it wasn't lying...But I was si ashamed that I didn't want to admit it..." Yosuke said "You're me...and I'm you. When you get down to it, all of this is me" he said and Shadow Yosuke nodded.

*The strenght of heart required to face oneself has been made manifest...

I read that as Shadow Yosuke transforms but not as a shadow this time as a persona.

"This is my persona..." Yosuke said as Jiraiya dissapeared and Yosuke gets on his knees tired "When we heard Senpai's voice..." Yosuke said "I wonder if that was something Senpai had been keeping deep down inside..." Yosuke said "Haha....'He was a real pain in the ass', huh?" He said "What a way to find out...Geez, this is so embarrassing..." Yosuke said as I walk up to him "If you weren't here, I don't know what woulda happened...Thanks, Brody" he said "No problem" I said helping him stand up "Hey, Teddie..." Yosuke said "Could Senpai have been attacked by her other self here?" He asks "Like how it just happened to me?" Yosuke asks "I think so" Teddie said "The shadows here were originally born from humans" he said "sometimes the fog clears. Then they all go berserk..." Teddie said "And you saw what happened next. A strong-willed Shadow draws others to it. And the big mass of Shadows kills the host" Teddie explained "So that's why people die when it gets foggy in our world..." Yosuke said and sighs tired "Yosuke's pretty worn out..." Teddie said "This world isn't made for humans. It's not comfortable for you here" Teddie said "I don't hear any more voices. I think we're done with this place" He said "Let's go back" Teddie said as we all walk back to where we arrived from the TV.

"Hey Teddie. You said that this place is reality for people who enter right?" Yosuke asks "So that shopping district, and the weird room we saw before..." He said "Did they exist because the ones who died entered this world, and it became their reality?" He asks "I guess what I'm trying to ask is...Did those places form because of the people who entered this world?" Yosuke asks "I don't know. It's never happened before..." Teddie said "But that's probably where they were when the Shadows attacked them" he said.

*It was the same for them?
*This world killed them?
*.....

"It was the same for them?" I asked "The fog does lift here sometimes. The Shadows get really violent then" Teddie said "I always get so scared. I have to hide when it happens..." he said "I sensed people here twice before. But both of them disappeared after the fog lifted..." He said "So let's get this straight..." Yosuke said "Senpai and that yamano lady were thriwn in here, and since they couldn't get out they wandered around..." he said "After a while, that shadow thing came out of them. The fog cleared, it went berserk and it ended up killing them..." Yosuke said "Does that sound right?" He asks "So if I'd been here until the fog cleared, I woulda been in much deeper trouble?" He asks "Yeah, I'm pretty sure" Teddie said "You were lucky Sensei and me where here with you..." Teddie said "Dammit! Senpai and that announcer...They were stuck here all alone...No one could save them..." Yosuke said "Yosuke..." Teddie said "They disappeared when the fog lifted. But they were safe before that. No shadows attacked them" Teddie said "They attacked us, though..." he said "Maybe they're keeping a close eye on us. They might see people who investigate thid place as enemies..." Teddie said "It'll be damgerous, but we might be able to fight then! We might save people!" Teddie said "Are you saying, if anyone else gets thrown in hete, we can save them before they disappear?!" Yosuke asks "Like how you guys just saved me?!" He asks

"That seems to bethe case" I said "Anyways....we need tocatch the one who's throwing people in here and make him stop" Yosuke said "Yeah....I'm finally starting to understand what's going on" He said "U-Um....can I ask something too...?" Teddie asks "If Shadows are born from humans, what was Teddie born from?" Teddie asks 'That's a good question' I thought "You don't even know where you came from?! How should we know?" Yosuke asks "I know some things. Mostly about thid world....But I don't know anything about myself" Teddie said "To be honest, I never thought about it until now...." He said "Are you serious...?" Yosuke asks "No wonder we couldn't get a straight answer out of you..." He said "Will you guys....come back here....? Especially you sensei?" Teddie asks

"We made a promise Teddie. And I always keep my promises" I said "Oh senseiiii" Teddie said blushing "Okay I'll let you guys out. But there's one thing" he said "I'll be waiting for you guys here. You need to come in from the same place every time. So we can meet up" Teddie said

*The TV at Junes....?

"From the same place...?" I ask confused "You could come in from somewhere else. But then you won't end up here" Teddie said "You might show up somewhere I couldn't get to you. Then you'd be doooomed...." Teddie said "Got it?!" He asks "Well, pretty much.." Yosuke said "Good! One exit comin' right up!" Teddie said tapping the floor and the stack of TVs appeared and then he went over to me and hugged me "I'll miss you senseiiiii" Teddie said not wanting to let me go and I smile petting him "I'll miss you too Teddie" I said as he purred letting go "Cool...first we need to make sure there aren't any employees milling around out there..." Yosuke said and Teddie starts pushing us to the TVs "Okay! Go go go! Squiiiish!" Teddie said "Argh! Hey! Stop squeezing, you little-- Whoa!" Yosuke said as we got in the TVs and went back to our world.

As we got out we see Chie on her knees "Ah...!" She said relieved "Y-You guys cane baaack...!" She said, it looks like she was crying "Huh? Chie? Whoa, what's with that face?" Yosuke asks but then she stood up mad and throws the rope at Yosuke "Ow!" He said landing on his butt "The nerve of you guys! You are such morons!" Chie yelled angry "I can't believe this! You guys suck!" She said "The rope got cut off....I had ni idea what to do..." she said sobbing wiping her tears "I was so worried..." chie said "I mean scared stiff, dammit!" She said "I hate you both!" She said running off and I felt guilty, we were so focused on investigating we didn't told Chie we were okay. "I....I think that mighta kinda sorta been our fault" Yosuke said getting up "It IS our fault" I said "Maybe we did go a little too far..." he said "Maybe?" I said and he sighs "You are too considerate of others. Let's apologize ti her tomorrow" Yosuke said "I'm completely wiped out....I'm gonna go homr, soak in the shower for a while, and get some sleep" Yosuke said "I think....I'm gonna sleep well tonight" he said "Hehe...well see you in the morning" he said walking away.

As I left the store I decided to save before hand.
