Brody's POV

I walked out the store and took out my umbrella since it was raining and I make my way through the flood plain when I notice Yukiko in a pink kimono, she was sitting on a chair with table under a small roof and I walk over to her sitting next to her "Oh....Are you suprised to see me dressed this way? My parents sent mw out on an errand..." Yukiko said "Um....Are you getting used to your new town and school?" She asked

"I like it here so far" I said with a smile "Really...?" She asks smiling and I nod "But....it must be difficult, moving to a place you know nothing about" Yukiko said "I've never been out of Inaba, let alone met any monsters. I thought those legends from across the country weren't real but that changed when the news of Mt. Ebott reached Inaba" Yukiko said 'I never thought that would make global news' I thought 'You undermine yourself a lot' Izanagi said "I wouldn't knowbwhat it's like to transfer to a new school..." Yukiko said "Oh! Are you getting along with Chie? I mean, I always leave eaely, so

"We're getting along" I said and she smiles "I'm glad to hear that" Yukiko said "Chie's very supportive, you know. It's always her who gives me the little extra push I need" she said, seems they are good friends "We had homeroom together last year too, and I still remember how we'd cut class sometimes" Yukiko said "Oh...I should get going. I need to make tomorrow's arrangements with our head chef" She said standing up "Our inn can't function without me right now" she said "Um...I'll see you at school then" she said grabbing her umbrella and leaves and I do as well.

I arrived at the house and sat with nanako eating dinner and watching TV "Dad's late....." Nanako said as the news channel started "Our next story is an update in our ongoing report on the bizarre murders occuring in Inaba" the announcer said "At around 7:00 A.M., local high school student Saki Konishi was found dead in Inaba's residential area" he said "Since the body was position similarly to the last victim, and since Ms. Konishi was the onw who discovered that body...." he said "Police are proceeding under the assumption that this may be a serial murder case related to the death of Mayumi Yamano" He said "The coroner's report has established Ms. Konishi's time of death at around 1:00 A.M., last night" He said "The body went unnoticed until this morning as a result of the heavy fog blanketing the area" he said "Another incident...." Nanako said "Dad won't be coming home tonight" She said.

"Are you worried about him?" I asked "Uh-Huh" she said "But that's how it goes. He's a detective, so he's really busy" she said 'God bless this girl. She tryes to understand' I thought sadly 'It can't be helped' Izanagi said

"....Amagi Inn, located upstream of Samegawa River, is the town's oldest historical landmark" the reporter said "Vacationers are known to travel suprising distances in order to visit its open-air, radium-rich hot springs" he said "After the incident with Ms. Yamano, the manager has stepped aside, leaving her daughter Yukiko to fill her shoes" he said

"In other words, she's manager who's still in high school" He said "Now that has a nice ring to it....Let's see if we can interview her. Excuse me!" he said "Hm...? Um.....Are you speaking to me?" Yukiko asks "We've heard that you're the new manager. Is it true you're still in high school?" The reporter said "Oh, well, I'm only filling in temporarily...." Yukiko said "Someday, though....That aside, wow! You're looking gorgeous in that kimono. You must have had a lot of male visitors" The reporter said 'Wow he's so annoying her' I thought 'That's reporters to you they always pester people wrapped in scandals or related to people of said scandals to get anything' Izanagi said "Huh? No, um..." Yukiko said

*The reporter's rambling goes further and further off the subject...

"....This is boring" Nanako said and she stood up "Oh, I need to do the dishes..." She said "I'll help" I said standing up as she went to the kitchen nodding.

*I decided to help out with the housework

As I head to the stairs I thought 'It's raining tonight. It might be worth checking the TV' I thought and went to my room.

I walked close to my TV and turned it off as the static from last time appears

*It seems that if the conditions are met, I can see it as many times as I want....

So I put my hand on the screen and sure enough my hand got inside the TV but the image disappeared. I should speaknto Yosuke and the others about this tomorrow so I go to bed for today.

I open my eyes and gasp in suprise. I'm back here, the limousine. I can see Igor amd Margaret on the other end like last time "Welcome" Igor said "Do not be alarmed Dreemurr. You are fast asleep in the real world..." he said "I have summoned you within your dreams" He said.

*It seems I have been summoned to the Velvet room....

"And so we meet again prince" Igor said "This is a space that only those who have, in one way or another, entered into a contract may enter..." Margaret said "In your daily life, you subconsciousoy heard the call to awaken, and you chose to follow the destiny of your inner voice...." she explained ".....thereby enacting your glorious awakening to your power" she said "Hold on to this..." Igor said as a key appeared on my hand a blue key.

I asked "Social Links are necessary for more than strengthening your Persona" Margaret said "At times, they will help light the way to the truth you are searching for" She said "Where will your awakened power of the wild card take you...?" Igor asked "I look forward to traveling the road of your destiny together....Brody Dreemurr" Igor said with a chuckle "'til we meet again..." he said as I felt myself falling asleep.

Early morning

After I woke up and ate breakfast I made my way to school "Yo!" I heard Yosuke from behind, he stopped as he was on his bike "You saw what was on last night, right?" He asked and I nodded "I couldn't tell who it was, but if someone's shown up on TV, we can't ignore it" He said  "Let's go check it iut after school. Maybe Teddie can tell us something" he said "If it turns out someone was thrown in again, there really might be a culprit behind all this" Yosuke said "Even if it is something about that place thats killing the victims..." He said "If someone's using that world as a weapon, thats unforgivable" Yosuke said "We need to find the culprit...No matter what it takes!" He said "Yeah" I said "There's no way the police can do it...Who'd believe that the murderer kills people by throwing them into the TV?" Yosuke said

"It has to be us" I said "hehe...Cool. it's reassuring to hear someone else say it" Yosuke said happy "You know, I tried sticking my head in the TV last night, the way you did and it actually worked" he said and I looked at him suprised "I think I can do that now because I havd the same power..." Yosuke said "Persona wasn't it?" He asks "Could be that we got this gift from someone specifically so we could solve the case" Yosuke said "Then again, you managed to go inside the TV and get your Persona first..." Yosuke said "I feel like, as long as you're with me, I can fid the culprit and crack this case" He said "...Well let's do our best!" He said and extended his hand and I shake it.

*Even with so much mystery swirling around, Yosuke is trying his hardest to move on...

And soon evrything around me froze in place and so did Yoduke he was standing still as I notice a tarot card infront of me.

Soon everything went back to normal and we went to school.

We were talking in our classroom while the teacher wasn't here when Chie entered and walked up to us "oh Chie! Um...About yesterday...We're sorry we worried you..." Yosuke said "Sorry" I said "Never mind that. Is Yukiko still not here?" Chie asks "Huh? Y-Yukiko-san? Uh....no...? At least I haven't seen her today" Yosuke said "Oh man.... What should I do....? Hey, is that stuff you were talking about for real?" Chie asks "You know... All that about how people showing up on the Midnight Channel is related to that other world" Chie said "Ih, we were just talking about that. Were thinking of checking it out later--" Yosuke said "The person on TV yesterday... I think it was Yukiko" Chie said and we looked at her suprised "That kimono looked like the one she wears at the inn, and she wore ot during that interview a few days ago" she said "I got worried, so I emailed her last night, but se hasn't responded..." she said "I called herbearlier in the evening though and she said she'd be at school today..." Chie said "I-I..." she said "Calm doen. We get the picture. Ans you still haven't heard from her?" Yosuke asks "No..." Chie said.

"What's that supposed to mean...? Wait, are you saying....Yukiko was thrown in there?!" Chie asks "We don't kniw yet for sure. We should check to see if she's safe first" Yosuke said "Give her another call" he said and Chie did that. We waited till she hung up "No good....Her voicemail picked up" Chie said "S-She's not answering..." She said "Are you serious....? Then is Yukiko-san inside that place...?" Yosuke asks "S-stop it! Something must've come up like an errand or something..." Chie said angry "Oh, or she might be helping at the inn....She wouldn't be able to answr her cell if that's it..." Chie said "Yeah but would she skip school for that?" Yosuke asks "W-well, I'll give the inn a call.... I've got the number here somewhere..." Chie said calling the inn "C'mon Yukiko....pick up..." she said "Oh, is this Yukiko?! Thank god, she's there!" Chie said "Uh-huh....Uh-huh, I see..." she said "Ah, uh. Nah, it was nothing, haha. I'll email you again later..." she said hunging up and sighs in relief "She was over at the inn" Chie said "She said they had a big group reservation and she had to help out" she said "Yeah....Now that I think about it, this has happened before too. At least once a year" Chie said "She said she'll be at the inn tomorrow, too" she said "Oh for crying out loud Yosuke! You got me worried over nothing!" Chie said mad "She was all fine!" She said "And you were all 'Is Yukiko-san inside that place....?' Hmph..." she said "S-sorry....But there is a reason we thought that" Yosuke said "Oh yeah....? What...?" Chie asks "Well... we thought people show up on the Midnight Channel because they're already over in that world" Yosuke said "I mean, it makes sense right? People show up on TV because they're inside the TV..." Yosuke said "But Yukiko-san's still here, in iur world. We might want ti see what this is about" he said "Alright let's meet up at Junrs after school" he said.

*I explainef to Chie in detail again about what happened last night

"O-Okay, I think that's more than enough about my sorry escapades" Yosuke said "If I hadn't seen the place first hand....Id never have believed a story like that" Chie said "Yeah no kidding" Yosuke said "Anyways, we need to know what's going on inside--" Yosuke said and looked at two people that where close by "How? By talking to that Teddie guy?" Chie asks "Yeah. Too bad there's so many custoners around....I forgot there's a sale in the electronics department today...." Yosuke said "I got it! Come here for a sec" he said walking close to the TV and I walk to him "Try sticking your hand in and calling him over. I bet he'll come for pets when he sees your hand" Yosuke said "Hey Chie, stand over here. Make a wall with me" Yosuke said "A wall?" Chie asks walking over as I stick my hand hand inside the TV and beckon Teddie over.

Soon enough I hear purring and Teddie's fur brushing against my hand and I pull it back "Aww sensei why did you pull your hand away?' Teddie asks from inside "Cause we want to ask you Teddie. Can you sense anyone inside there right now?" Yosuke asks "Who's 'anyone'? I'm a lonely little bear that loves Sensei's presence and pets" Teddie said "This land feels so bear-ren..." Teddie said giggling at his pun "Shut it!" Chie said "So there's no one inside...? You're sure?" Chie asks "I-I'm not lying! My nose is running as good as ever!" Teddie said but Chie stayed silent "I'm gonna go warn Yukiko anyway" she said "since she'll be busy this weekend helping out at the inn, I doubt she'd go anywhere alone, but still...." she said "Yeah....You'll walk with her to school on Monday, right?" Yosuke asks "Sure, I'll go pick her up at her house" Chie said "Maybe we'll find out more on Tonight's Midnight Channel" Yosuke said "Cross your fingers that this is all just a misundrrstanding...." Yosuke said and I nodded "What's your cell number? I'll call you when I watch it tonight" Yosuke said as we take our phones out

*I exchanged cell numbers with Yosuke

"Alright don't forget to watch it tonight" Yosuke said and we all nodded

*Was it really Yukiko who appeared last night...?
*I need to watch the Midnight Channrl again tonight....

I was with somw officers on the road investigating even if it's raining "Looks like we've found all we're gonna find here" Adachi said walking up to me "And we've still got nothing that points directly to a suspect....." He said "We don't even know if this id s homocide" I said "Well, what else could it be? There's no way a body could end up like that by accident!" Adachi said and I sigh "....I know" I said "We haven't found the case of death for the first vic, and now we've got a second one just like it..." I said "If this is a murder case, there's no doubt we're dealing with a single perp" I said "But if that's true....what the hell is going on?" I ask "You know, I thought at first this all spun out of that love triangle" adachi said "No. That singer--Misuzu Hiiragi--has a solid alibi. She was performing overseas and her phone records prove it" I said "And remember, the only reasin the scandal went public was becayse Hiiragi herself broke it to the media" I said "No one would put themselves under suspicion that way if they had murder on their mind" I said "Got a point there..." Adachi said "Same with Taro Namatame, her husband. No matter how much we shake him down, nothing links him to the murders" I said "He's been working in the city for the past six months" I said "Seems he was here recently because of the scandal, but he was swamped with work back home at the time of the incident" I said "There are eyewitnesses and other evidence placing him at his office the night that Mayumi Yamano died" I said "And we can't find anything that shows Yamano making contact with Namatame before or after her disappearance...." I said "You hear Namatame's career has also been killed stone dead? He's been fired from his position as secretary" Adachi said "He's practically as much of a victim as the Yamano girl" He said "Yeah, I agree...." I said "Then we have the second case, regarding Saki Konishi..." I said "She's the one who discovered Yamano's corpse....But I don't buy the killer shutting her up as a possible motive" I said "She was killed well after she reported the body, and the culprit didn't hide her it's like they were meant to be found" I said "The only other connection is that she atyended the same school as the daughter of the inn where Yamano was holed up" I said "But that hardly points to a motive. Coincidences like that are common in a town as small as our" I said "Yeah....I heard about that angle on the news, too" Adachi said "What?! Is the story abouy the inn out already?!" I asked suprised "Okay I got it! How's this?" Adachi asks "Maybe there was something about the corpse that only Saki Konishi knew!" He said "And our perp killed her to keep whatever it was from leaking out!" He said "..... Either way, all we can do now is keep investigating anyone involved with the victims...." I said "Our perp.... it has to be someone in Inaba" I said "Ooh, is your detective's intuition at work?" Adachi asked as we went back to investigating.
