Brody's POV

After getting back home I went to sleep.

*The next day 04/18*

I was in the classroom with Yosuke "I wonder how Chie's doing" Yosuke said "Too much stuff happened yesterday. I hope she's back to her usual self..." He said amd Chie walked in and walked to us "Oh, morning" Chie said.

*Morning
*You okay?
*Did you sleep well?

"Did you sleep well?" I asked concerned "Yep. I was out cold until this morning" Chie said and stayed silent for a bit "Um....Thanks for everything yesterday" Chie said "It's kinda embarrassing, ya know?" She said "You two were right there to see my hidden feelings and all..." she said  "Don't sweqt it" Yosuke said "The same thing happened to Yosuke right?" Chie asks "Sooo.....what was it like?" She asks "Huh? Uhhhh, how should I put this..." Yosuke said "Oh, I nearly forgot! None of that happened when yours awakened, huh?" Yosuke asks changing the subject "Hmmm, could that be because you've got nothing to hide?" He asks "Oh? So nothing happened for you?" Chie asks "I gotta agree that you seen like a pretty open guy. There's a funny air about you" she said "I dunno, I guess that's what draws people to you, or something like that" she said.

"Falling for me?" I asked jokingly....but she blushed "Whoa....Maybe you are my type" Chie said 'But I was joking' I thought 'Pfft I guess you are that good' Izanagi said chuckling and I sigh mentally "Gimme a break...." Yosuke said and we laughed a bit. "Anyways, what's most important right now is to rescue Yukiko" Chie said"I'm dead set on coming. Remember...You promised" she said and we all nodded as the bell rang "Oh crap! I haven't gone to the bathroom yet!" Yosuke said running off "Hey' um...." Chie said "Th-Thanks for saving me..." she said "Yosuke's cool and all but....." she said "There really is something different about you. I feel  like you won't let me down..." she said

*I sense Chie's gratituted to me...
*I feel a faint bond forming between me and Chie...

I see a card appear infront of me as time stopped

"I need your phone number" I ask straight out and she blushes again "Wha...? Oh....right. You'll neex this from now on, huh? Okay then" Chie said flustered 'Why is she blushing now? What did I say?' I thought and Izanagi sighs 'Sometimes you are just too dense' he said 'huh?' I thought "Feel free to call whenever..." Chie said.

*I exchanged cell numbers with Chie

"We have to be careful of the fog that sets in after the rain, right? Let's save her before that happens!" Chie said and I nodded. 'After the rain continues for a while, it may become foggy...' I thought 'I must prepare us as much as possible until then....' I thought. 'I should go to the Junes food court on days that I want to explore the other world...' I thought.

*After school*

After classes ended and answer another question, I realized I got nothing planned today 'It's all on you now' Izanagi said standing infront if me 'huh?' I asked 'So far you got people dragging you around every day right, left and center. But now it's up to you how you'll spend your time' Izanagi said 'Will you bond with your friends or even make new social links? Or will you rescue Yukiko now?' Izanagi asked 'Hmmm. Well if I rescue Yukiko now, I can deepend my bonds without worries' I said 'Your the leader, you do your thing oh and keep charming girls' Izanagi said winking 'I.Was.Joking!' I said 'It's not my fault you are as dense as that bear. Anyway you know where I am' Izanagi said vanishing.

*Later at The junes food court*

Once I got here and brought Yosuke and Chie we went in. Once in the TV world we are greeted by Teddie "Sensei! There you are! Let's play! Huh? No time?" Teddie asks "Oh yeah that's right, let's save the lost girl!" He said and we followed him.

*Yukiko's Castle*

After checking up on Yosuke and Chie I talked to Teddie "Here Sensei" Teddie said.

"If it's ever too hard to return, Use those" Teddie said "How's my score now sensei?" Teddie asks 'Oh this cute bear' I thought and we went inside.

We arrived back to the second floor and as I was about to open up the door Teddie speaks "Hmm?" Teddie said "I sense someone behind this door.." he said.

*Open the door?

*Yes

I opened the door and we went inside and we saw Yukiko? In a dress.

"Yukiko...?" Chie asks as we walk closer to her "Yukiko-san! Are you all right?!" Yosuke asks "Yukiko...what's wrong?" Chie asks and then a stage light turned on over Yukiko and she chuckles "Heehee....Ahahahahahaha!" Yukiko? Laughs and turns around "Oh my! Special guests? I wonder how they'll play into all this!" Yukiko? Said and chuckles "Things are really heating up!" She said "Okie-dokie! I'm going back to hunt for my prince charming! Ohhhh, where could he be...?" She asks "This place is huge! It's soooo exciting, but it makes it so hard to find him!" She said "Ooh! Maybe he's playing hide-and-seek in the fog! Ready or not, here I come!" She said "Let's go further in then, shall we?!" She asks and then a text above her appears saying.

"Princess Yukiko's Hunt for Her Prince Charming!"

And we heared cheering and clapping "Wh-What the hell is this?!" Yosuke asks "You're not Yukiko.....Who are you?!" Chie askedand Yukiko chuckles "What're you talking about? I'm Yukiko....and Yukiko is me" she said "No! Don't tell me, are you--?!" Chie asked. It must be her shadow "Where's the real Yukiko?!" Chie asks and we heard more voices "What's with these voices?!" Yosuke asks "The shadows are getting agitated!" Teddie said "Well I'm off again!" Yukiko said "Heehee! You'd better be waiting with bells on, my dear Prince!" She said and rans foward "Hey, wait!" Chie said "That Yukiko was...." she said "I think it was. It must have been the other part of herself" Teddie said "So it's just like what happened to us..." Yosuke said "But I don't think she was excited for nothing" Teddie said "The real Yukiko wants to show us something. I can feel it" he said"It's hard to explain...It seems like she has a strong connection to this castle" he said "This is a lot more dangerous than I thought!" He said "Yukiko..!" Chie said running foward "Hey...Not again! Dammit, we told her not to run off on her own!" Yosuke said and we ran after her and regrouped and proceed foward.

After going through in the fifth floor we finally found the door that was unlocked and we entered and saw Shadow Yukiko with a Armor on a Armored horse looking shadow and Shadow Yukiko chuckles "My Prince wouldn't lose to guards such as this, correct?" She asked "Gyaaahh! I've never seen such a strong one before!" Teddie said and the shadow attacks us.

The shadow uses Tarukaja to increase their attack, I have Yosuke attack and we get a critical knocking the shadow down and we go for an all out attack. We were able to pull through with a few attacks before killing it.

Shadow Yukiko chuckles "If you really are my Prince, then we will surely meet again" she said to me "Hey! Hands off my Sensei!" Teddie said jealous? "I am but a trapped soul....I cannot leave this place even uf I wished..." Shadow Yukiko said dissmising Teddie and chuckled "I don't sense her anymore..." Teddie said "Oh! Are you okay Sensei? I'm sure we've got long was to go. Don't push yourself too hard!" He said "If you are tired you should head back" Teddie said but I'm not tired yet so we'll go foward.

*Yukiko's Castle Floor 8*

After a while we arrived to the 8 floor, also a shadow dropped a smoky quartz after we defeated, I know I can sell it for money but for some reason I feel like I should keep it.....anyway we arrive at a big door and Teddie stops us "Huh? This smell is..." Teddie said "It must be her! She's right behind this door!" He said and we went inside.

Inside was a throne room and Shadow Yukiko standing infront of the throne but Yukiko was at the small stairs below the throne "Yukiko!" Chie said "I knew it...There's two of her!" Yosuke said "Oh? Ooooh, what's this?" Shadow Yukiko asks as we get closer to Yukiko who was on her knees "THE Prince of monsters is here to see me?! My my!" Shadow Yukiko said "Are you the suprise guests who came in late?" She asks "Awwww...I wish I'd gotten a better look a you!" She said "My, it's getting crowded here. Why don't you and I go somewhere else....?" She asks "A land far, far away, where no one knows me. If you're my Prince, you'd take me there, won't you?" She asks "C'mon...pretty please?" She asks "Grrr leave Sensei alone! Don't score him!" Teddie said 'I have a cute bear costume thing and a shadow girl hitting on me. What the heck?' I thought and Izanagi chuckles "S-stop..." Yukiko said standing up "Historic inn? Manager training?! I'm sick of all these things chaining me down!" Shadow Yukiko said "I never asked to be born here! Everything's decided for me! From how I live, to where I die!" She said "I'm so sick of it! To hell with it all!" She said "That's not true..." Yukiko said "I just want to go somewhere far away...Anywhere but here..." Shadow Yukiko said "Someone, please take me away...I can't leave here on my own...." she said "I'm completely useless..." she said 'She's antagonizing Yukiko' Izanagi said "stop....please stop...." Yukiko said "I have no hope if I stay, and no courage to leave..." Shadow Yukiko said "So I sit on my ass hoping that someday my Prince will come!" She said "I don't care where we go! Anywhere's fine! As long as it's not here, I don't give a damn!" She said "Historical tradition? Pride of the town? What a bunch of bullshit!" She said "How dare you...?" Yukiko said "That's how I really feel" Shadow Yukiko said "Isn't that right...me?!" She asked Yukiko "N-No.." Yukiko said 'Get ready' Izanagi said "Stop! Don't say it!" Yosuke said "No! You're not me!" Yukiko yelled "Heeheeheee...!" Shadow Yukiko laughs "Ahhh! This feels wonderful! It's building...more and more....If thos keeps up...I'll...I'll!" Shadow Yukiko said and chuckles "Ahaha! Ahahahahahahaha!" She laughs and transforms

And Yukiko fell to the ground "Just hang in there Yukiko! We'll save you!" Chie said and we started a battle

"I am a shadow...The true self..." Shadow Yukiko said "Now, My Prince....Why don't we dance and make merry together?" She asks chuckling "Hang in there Yukiko...I'm right here for you!" Chie said "Oh really? Then I'll make sure to give you plenty to deal with!" Shadow Yukiko said.

I use Rakunda with Izanagi to lower her defense and I have Yosuke use Sukukaja to increase Hit/evasion rate. Then I have Chie use Bufu which causes light ice damage and that's Shadow Yukiko's weakness so we knock her down and we go for an all out attack and cause 385 damage. Shadow Yukiko uses agi that causes light fire damage on Yosuke cause 10 damage. I have me and Yosuke attack causing 195 and 207 damage and have Chie use Bufu causing 109 damage and knocking the shadow down and we go for another all out attack causing 418 damage. "What, are you trying to make me mad...?" Shadow Yukiko asks summons a shadow call charming prince.

I attack shadow Yukiko causing 201 damage and have Yosuke attack her too causing 203 damage and have Chie use bufu on her causing 108 damage knocking her down giving Chie another turn "Let me handle this!" Yosuke said for a follow up and I nodded and he attacks the prince causing 178 damage.

The prince escapes the battle and Shadow Yukiko chuckles "We're not done yet. Show me this strenght of yours!" Shadow Yukiko said "Come, my price...heeheehee..." she said getting back up "My prince! My dear prince!" She said and summons
*But nobody came.

"Why...why won't he come...?" She asks and I attack her causing 184 damage Yosuke does 196 and I have Chie use Bufu causing 107 damage knocking her done and we end it with and all out attack causing 414 damage defeating her.

As I finished reading the stats Yukiko regained conciousness "Ngh.." she said as we ran to her "Yukiko!" Chie said "Yukiko, are you hurt....?!" She asks and we all notice Shadow Yukiko back in her normal form "No...I'm not--" Yukiko started "We understand. You're not the only one like that, Yukiko-san" Yosuke said "Everyone has something they can't show to other people, or don't want to admit to themselves..." he said "Yukiko...I'm sorry" Chie said "I was so self-centered that...I never understood what you were going through..." she said "I'm your friend, and I still....I'm so sorry" she said "Chie...." Yukiko said "I was always jealous of you, Yukiko" Chie said sobbing "You had everything that I didn't...That jealousy was like a wall, and I was so lonely...!" She said "I wanted you to need me...But it was me who needed you" she said "I can't do anything right on my own....I've caused so much trouble for Yosuke and the others" she said "If you weren't by my side, I....I wouldn't know what to do..." she said "Chie..." Yukiko said "I never saw the real you either...I was too busy trying to find an easy way out" she said and then walked to her shadow " 'I want to run away'...'I want someone to save me'..You're right, thise feelings are part of me, too" she said "I understand now.....You're me" She said and Shadow Yukiko nods.

*The strrngh5 of heart required to facr oneself has been nade manifest....

Shadow Yukiko transformed.

And turned into a card that went to her soul.

*Yukiko has faced her other self...
*She has obtained the facade usedto overcome life's hardships, the Persona Konohana Sakuya!

Yukiko fell to her knees tired "Yukiko!" Chie said "Are you okay?" Yosuke asks "Yes, I'm just a little tired...You all came to rescue me...?" Yukiko asks with a small smile "Of course!" Chie said smiling "Thank you.." Yukiko said "Don't even mention it. I'm just so glad you are safe..." Chie said "Hehe...right on" Yosuke said smiling and I nodded with a smile "So, who threw you in here?" Teddie asks "Huh...? Who are you?" Yukiko asked "Rather...What are you?" She asks "I'm Teddie! So who throw you in?" Teddie asks "I don't know..." Yukiko said "I think...someone called my name..." She said "But my memory's a blur. I  can't remember who it was...I'm sorry, um...Teddie" she said "No new clues..." Teddie said "Not necessarily. Now we know for sure that someone threw Yukiko-san in here" Yosuke said "Then it really isn't Yosuke..." Teddie said "Ypu were still suspecting me?!" Yosuke asks "N-No I-I always believed it wasn't you!" Teddie said "Anyways, let's hurry back home. Yukiko looks exhausted.." Chie said "Thanks again Teddie!" She said and helped Yukiko stand and we started to walk back "Huh? Wait, you're leaving me here?" Teddie asks "What are you talking about? You live here" Yosuke said "Well...yeah, but..." Teddie said and I walk over to Teddie "Don't worry Teddie I'll visit you again. I promise" I said "So be a good boy and wait until then" I said petting him making him purr "R-Raaaaawr!" Teddie said smiling "Oh Sensei....why don't you and I go somewhere else....?" He asks blushing "pretty please?" Teddie asks "Gah...You're giving me the creeps! That's it you're stuck here for the rest of your life!" Yosuke said and we then regroup and left the TV World.

*Back at Junes Food court*

"Yukiko...? Are you all right? You're not hurt anywhere, are you?" Chie asks "No...I'm just a little tired.." Yukiko said

*How did you get in there?
*Do you remember anything?
*Did you see the killer?

"Do you remember anything?" I asked "I'm sorry, but....I don't remember anything..." Yukiko said "Well no worries! You're safe, and that's more than enough" Chie said and we all nodded "But there's no mistake that Yukiko-san was...um..." Yosuke said "...Attacked...the same way as the last two victims" he said "And I think the one we saw on the Midnight Channel wasn't the real Yukiko-san, but her shadow" He said "Maybe the things Yukiko-san was suppresing in this world took form in the TV...?" Yosuke said unsure "You know, Teddie was saying something like that..." Chie said "Aww, it's no use. I'm just going round and round in circles" Yosuke said "What kinda person could be doing this?" He asks.

*Let's give it some thought
*Let's call it a day

"Let's call it a day" I said, 'I'm worried about Yukiko'd condition right now...' I thought.

*My Understanding has increased.

"Yeah, we can go over it some other day" Chie said "Yukiko really needs to get some rest. I'll take her home" she said "Oh that's right....sorry. Yukiko-san must be exhausted" Yosuke said and soon Chie and Yukiko left. "We'll talk about all this some more once she gets her strength back" Yosuke said and I nodded and we went our ways.

*I was ableto rescue Yukiko
*But this case's mysteries have deepened even further...
*For now, we should wait for Yukiko to recover.

As I make my way home I take out my save file.

*You sucessfully rescued Yukiko, but as you wait for her recovery the feeling you took a step closer to the truth Fills you with Determination.
