Brody's POV

I woke up in the morning today is friday and I walked downstairs and see Dojima and Nanako "Ah you're up. Well I'm off" Dojima said as he left ".....Dad has to go do something. He got a call, so he left" Nanako said "I see" I said as we ate breakfast and left for school.

It was raining on my way to school and I see two girl gossiping "When I looked I saw three police cars zooming by" The girl with the red umbrella said "You live by the police station, don't you? Did you hear anything?" The one with the white umbrella said "I heard some yelling, but nothing more. Total disappointment" The red umbrella girl said "Geez you need to pay more attention to stuff like that. How else are we supposed to get the juicy stories?" The white umbrella girl said when I hear sirens nearby.....An accident maybe? Anyway I decided to get to school faster.

*At school*

Apparently there's going to be a school assembly and I could hear people gossiping about something, I was with Yosuke and Chie "Yukiko said she'd be here after lunch...I wonder why they're holding a school assembly all of a sudden. Hey, what's wrong, Yosuke?" Chie asked "Oh, it's nothing..." Yosuke said "You sure?" I asked he looks down but he nodded when the teacher Sofue talks "Everyone, please settle down. The school assembly is about to begin" she said "First the principal has something to say" She said stepping aside "I....regret to say that I have a terrible announcement for all of you" The principal said "One of our third-year students, Ms Saki Konishi of Class 3...has passed away" he said 'She died?' I thought confused "Passed away?!" Chie asked and Yosuke stayed silent "Ms. Konishi was found deceased early this morning...The reasons behind her passing are currently under investigation by the police. If they ask you for your cooperation, I urge you, as students of this school, to provide only the facts. All right, please quiet down...I have been assured by the faculty that there's been no evidence that bullying was involved in the incident. So mind what you say, not only to the police but to anyone who asks...." The principal said "Found dead? How could this happen?" Chie asked and Yosuke stayed silent 'Yosuke...' I thought.

*Later*

Chie and I were on the hallway after the assembly finished "She fied the same way as that announcer, right? That's so creepy..." A girl said as she gossips with her friend "Sheesh, it's easy to toss around theories if youre not personally involved..." Chie said "Tell me about it" I said and Yosuke walked up to us "Hey....did you guys check out the TV last night?" He asked "Yosuke! Not you too!" Chie said "Just listen for a sec! Something kept bothering me, so...I watched it again and..." Yosuke said, "I think the girl on the screen....was Saki-senpai. There's no mistaking it. Senpai looked like...she was writhing in pain. And then, she disappeared from the screen" Yosuke said "Are you sure?" I asked "what?" Chie asked "You heard Senpai's body was found in a similar situation as that announcer's, right? Well, remember that guy you told us about? How he was all excited that his soulmate was the announcer? Maybe...Just maybe, but Ms. Yamano might've been on that Midnight Channel before she died, too." Yosuke explained "What's that supposed to mean?" Chie asked then gasps "Hold on. Are you saying? People who appear on the TV....die?" Chie asked "I can't say for sure. But something tells me...I just can't dismiss it as coincidence" Yosuke said and Chie stayed silent "Plus remember what that bear thing said? How that place was dangerous and we should leave before the fog clears?" Yosuke said 'Teddie that's true I promised I'll see him again today' I thought "It also said that someone's been throwing people in there. And that room with the posters on the wall...it has something to do with the announcer's death" Yosuke said "I mean....don't you think there's some kind if connection there?" Yosuke asked "Couldn't that world in the TV have something to do with Senpai and the announcer's death?!" Yosuke asked then looked at me "Well...? What do you think....?" Yosuke asked me "You might be right Yosuke" I said it's just too many similarities for this to be a coincidence, both victims were found dead hanging, both appeared on the midnght channel and both dissapeared before appearing on the midnight channel ".....So it's not just me, huh?" He asked "If there is a connection, then it's a good bet that the two of them went inside that world" Yosuke said "That would explain the posters in that room" Yosuke said "Which means....if we look around, we might find a place that has something to do with Senpai, too" he said "Yosuke, don't tell me...." Chie said and he nodded "Yeah...I'm thinking about going in again I want to find out for myself" Yosuke said "D-Don't do this....You should just let the police handle this and--" Chie said "You think we can rely on the police?! They haven't made any progress on the announcer's case" Yosuke said angry "Besides, even if we told them about the world inside the TV, there's no way they're gonna believe us!" Yosuke said "If I'm completely off-base with this, that's fine....It's just....I need to know why Senpai had to die like this" Yosuke said "Yosuke..." Chie said "After what I've seen and what I've put together, there's no way I can ignore it now...." Yosuke said then looked at me again "Sorry Brody....but you're the only person who can help me" he said "No worries I was planning on going back anyway" I said caughting the two off guard "You were?" Chie asked "Yeah. I promised Teddie I would visit him today" I said "Teddie?" Chie asked "That's the bear's name" I said "When did you do that?" Yosuke asked "After you two left" I said "Oh...well that works, I'm gonna go get ready. I'll be waiting for you at Junes" Yosuke said running off. 'Yosuke has asked me to take him into the TV again...I wonder if Teddie's expecting me' I thought "I can kinda understand how he feels...But we can't be sure we'll be able to get out safely again" Chie said "What should we do...?" She asked me "Well I'm going and take him...if you don't want to be a part of this I'm sure he'll understand" I said "Maybe but....*sighs* Anyways, let's go to junes. We can't leave Yosuke alone..." Chie said and I nodded as we left.

*After School-Junes electronics department*

"You guys came...!" Yosuke said relieved "We came to stop you, idiot!" Chie said angry "C'mon....You really shouldn't do this. It's too dangerous" she said "I know...But we were able to come back once, right?" Yosuke said "If we go in from the same location maybe we'll meet that bear again. Besides that bear IS expecting Brody" he added "Yeah he is expecting Brody but maybe isn't good enough!" Chie said "Look, I can't just act like everyone else and pretend this has nothing to do with me" Yosuke said "That's true, but...." Chie said then Yosuke looked at me "What about you monster prince? Could you just walk away?" He asked "No. I can't just ignore it especially after what you proposed" I said truthfully "Yeah and don't worry it'll be just you and me" Yosuke said "Don't worry, I'm not going in without a plan. Chie, I'm leaving you in charge of this" He said gesturing the rope he was holding, he had it tied around his waist and on his other he had a golf club? "Huh? What's that? A rope....?" Chie asked "We'll go in with this tied to me, so I want you to hold on this and wait here" Yosuke said "Wh-what? Then, this is a lifeline? C'mon, wait a sec..." Chie said concerned grabbing the rope "Here Brody....This is for ypu" Yosuke said giving me the golf club and I take it.

*Obtain Golf club*

*Obtain Medicine x 3*

"I thought it might be better than going in empty-handed" Yosuke said "Alright....Let's go. There's no use wasting any more time" Yosuke said "Chie, whatever you do, don't let go of the rope!" He said as we walk to the TV "H-hey! I said wait!" Chie said as we dive in the TV.

*As Brody and Yosuke go to the TV world Chie tried pulling the rope to see if she could drag them out but the rope got cut as she pulled it out and she gets on her knees "See...? I knew this wasn't gonna work..." Chie said "Now what...?" She asked*

"Oww.." Yosuke said as we landed and we were in the same place as last time "Yay! You came back!" I heard Teddies voice and hugged me from behind "Why did you took so long??? I thought I wouldn't see you again!" He said tightening the hug "I'm sorry Teddie I had to go to school first" I said and Teddie just let go "What's a school?" He asked innocently "Nevermind...." I said "Huh? What's he doing here? Why did you come bqck?" Teddie asks noticing Yosuke then Teddi pulled me away from Yosuke "I get it! You're the one behind it! Be careful Brody!" Teddie said angry.....Oh he thinks Yosuke throws people in "You're that thing from last time...! Wait what the hell did you just say?!" Yosuke asked mad "Lately, I can tell someone's been throwing people in here" Teddie said "It's making this world more and more messed up..." he said "This is the second time you guys came here and Brody is a very nice and kind man. And I don't believe he forced you in" Teddie said to Yosuke "That means you're the most suspicious!" He said "You must be the one throwing people in here, raaaaawr!" Teddie said 'I know that's supposed to be scary but he's too cute to be scary' I thought "What're you talking about, 'throwing people in'?!" Yosuke asked "If someone was thrown in herr and they couldn't get out, they might die!" He said "who would do such a-Wait all this talk about someone throwing people in here....Does he mean Senpai and the announcer?" Yosuke asks "Did that 'someone' throw those two in here?" He asks "H-hey what do you think Brody?" Yosuke asked me "That must be it" I said "Yeah....I agree. Let's assume he's telling the truth" Yosuke said "Could it be that someone's throwing people in here, intending to kill them...?" Yosuke asks "if that's the case..." Yosuke said "What lies are you telling Brody?! Why'd you come here anyway?!" Teddie asked angry "It's a one-way door! You can't get out once you're in! I was gonna help Brody out when we finished our meet up" Teddie said "You remember right? How I had let you guys out?" Teddie asks Yosuke "Yeah, whatever" Yosuke said angry "We don't need your help this time! See, this time we have a lifeli--" Yosuke said as we noticed the cut rope "Whaaaaat?!" He asked "H-hey! You better let us out once we're done investigating here!" Yosuke said "I was already planning to let Brody out once he had to go" Teddie said "Grrrr! Besides I'm the one who wants to investigate! And I wanted to know more about Brody but know you show up! My meet up plans are ruined!" Teddie said "I've lived here for a long time. But it's never been noisy like this till now" Teddie said "Do you have proof?! Prove to me you are not throwing people in here!" Teddie said to Yosuke "Thats not how it works" Yosuke said "See! So it is you!" Teddie said "For the last time, it's not me, so I've got nothing to prove to you!" Yosuke said "Hey, you better answer our questions. This isn't like last time, when we came by accident. We're dead serious!" He said "Listen up, 'cause people have died in our world.... Every time the fog appears, a dead body shows up with it" Yosuke said "It has to be related to this place somehow! If you know something, tell us!" Yosuke said "A dead body? Whenever the fog appears...?" Teddie asked "I know that if it's foggy on your side, the fog lifts here" he said "It's really dangerous when the fog lifts. That's when the Shadows get violent" Teddie said "Shadows?" I asked "Ah...I get it" Teddie said "Huh....? If you get it, then explain it to us, dammit!" Yosuke said "If it's foggy on our side, it isn't in here...? Shadows get violent...?" Yosuke asked "That's why I said to hurry back! It's dangerous when that happens!" Teddie said "Okay no more questions. I know you did it! You better stop right now!" Teddie said to Yosuke "I've told you and told you, I'm not the one doing it!" Yosuke said "I've about had it with you....why the hell won't you listen to what I'm saying?!" He asked "I-I'm just saying....you might be the culprit" Teddie said starting to get scared "I'm just making sure..." He added "What....? Man, this bear's driving me nuts....." Yosuke said "What is this place anyways? It looks like a TV studio..." He said 'Hmm yeah it kinda does maybe it's where the midnight channel is recorded?' I thought "Is something being filmed here....?" Yosuke asks "H-Hey, don't tell me....Is that weird show being filmed here?!" He asks "Weird Show? Filmed? What does that mean?" Teddie asks clueless 'poor bear he really does only know this foggy world' I thought "Uh....I'm asking if someone's been filming the people that get thrown in here" Yosuke said ".....? I don't get it...." Teddie said "This world has always been like this. No one has ever done that filming thing here" Teddie said "What do you mean? It's just you in this place?" I asked and Teddie looks at me "Yes and no Brody. It's only me and Shadows here!" Teddie said "Ugh...We don't know what these Shadow things are! Or what you are either, for that matter!" Yosuke said "You keep telling me to prove my innocence, but you're the most suspicious things here!" Yosuke said "Maybe you're the real culprit!" He said "Easy now Yosuke" I said "And what's with that stupid costume?! I'd say it's time you showed your face!" Yosuke said walking to Teddie and pulls the zipper that connects Teddie's head with his body and sure enough he takes it off but..... its empty inside? And I don't just mean there's no one in the costume, there no bones, no organs, no blood, nothing it's straight empty inside "Whoa!" Yosuke said dropping Teddie's head off and walks back "Wh-What the hell are you....?" Yosuke asks "It's empty inside..." he said as Teddie's body finds Teddie's head and puts it back on "Me....? The culprit...? I wouldn't do such a thing...." Teddie said "I just live here...I just want to live here peacefully...." He said "Okay. It is true you came here with Brody and I can sense and smell nothing but kindness and mercyness in Brody's soul" Teddie said. I still can't get over he's just a costume....well then again I'm friends with two talking monster skeletons....and ghosts....I really shouldn't be suprised but I wonder what type of monster is Teddie? I definetly need to give Undyne a call later she must have something being the royal scientist and all. "But I want you to fins the real guy who did all this. You have to stop him" Teddie said to us "Promise me, or else.....I'm not letting you guys outta here" Teddie said "Y-you little....!" Yosuke said "This can't keep going on! My home yere will be a complete mess!" Teddie said "And then.....and then...I...." Teddie said "waaaahh..." Teddie said crying "What are you crying for all of the sudden for?" Yosuke asks "Yosuke relax" I said walking over to Teddie and I kneel infront of me "Hey it's okay Teddie it's gonna be alright. We'll find the culprit and get him to stop" I said petting him  and he sniffs hugging me sobbing.

'Now that I think about it I remember the words that Igor old man said'

*"It seems you will encounter s misfortune at your destination, and a great mystery will be imposed upon you...and I'm sure you are the person that can find the truth prince of determination"*

'Could thid be the mystery that will be thrust upon me...? What was that contract Igor spoke of...?' I think 'Could finding the culprit and solving the case be part of this promise...? And he and Margaret seem to know about my alternate selves and they mention a hybrid other me?.....I should ask next time I meet them but for now I should focus on this mystery if I can find the truth I can't look away now' I thought "Y-You promise?" Teddie asked me "I promise" I said and Teddie cheered up at my answer "Thank you! I knew your kind soul would accept" He said "Well....it's true that we came here to figure things out. So far, we're completely in the dark" Yosuke said "Look for the culprit, huh....? Bring it on! You got my word too" Yosuke said "Might as well introduce myself since you know Brody and he told me your name. I'm Yosuke Hanamura" Yosuke said "So how are we supposed to find the culprit in the first place?" He asked "I dunno....Oh, but I know where the last persob came in" Teddie said "The last person.....? You mean Saki-senpai?!" Yosuke asks "I mean the person who came in and disappeared last time. I dunno the name" Teddie said "I'll take you there. You might find clues" Teddie said "Oh lne thing first. You two should put these on" Teddie said giving us glasses "What are this glasses for...?" Yosuke asks as we put them on and....wow pur vision became much clearer allowing us to see better where we were.

(Kinda like this just with a bit fog as opposed to dense fog all over the place)

"Whoa! The difference is like night and day. With these on, it's like the fog doesn't exist" Yosuke and I nodded "They'll help you walk through the fog" Teddie said "....Well I've been here for a long time. So you can rely on me!" He said "Uh...But I can only show you where the place is. You guys will have to defend yourselves" Teddie added "What happened to relying on you?! Th-There better not be any monst-shadow things you understand?!" Yosuke said, he was gonna say monster but I guess seeing me made him correct himself since of my monster family and friends back at home. "We brought weapons, but I mean....They're more for show!" Yosuke said "We just got here! If it's so dangerous why don't you do something instead of relying on us?!" He asked "Uh uh. No way. I've got no muscles" Teddie said, I mean....he's not wrong there's nothing inside him "Oh! Oh! I'll give you guys moral support from a safe distance!" Teddie said "How's that sounds?" Teddie asks "Better than nothing" I said but can Teddie really not fight...?

I'll try touching him, the other two are just mean options. I walk to Teddie as he looks at me confused and bearly touch him as he falls over "N-Noooooo....." Teddie said whining and moving his arms and legs unable to get up, wow I bearly touched him "I-Is this thing for real?!" Yoduke asks "Ugh, this is so lame. We swore to find the culprit and this is all the backup we get....?" He asks "Oh yeah. Can I ask you something?" Teddie asks stopping to move his arms and legs "Who's this Saki-senpai person? Someone you know?" Teddie asks ".......That doesn't matter right now...." Yosuke said "Anyways, at least now we know Senpai might have been thrown in here" he said "Maybe we can find more information, too. Let's get moving Brody" Yosuke said walking away "W-waaaaaaaaaaaait!" Teddie said worried as I walk over and help him up "sorry I didn't know you'll fall so easy" I said "It's alright Brody now come on" Teddie said happy going after Yosuke. I was gonna follow but I noticed something, something I couldn't see last time we where here because of the fog....a save point? There are even here? Well I may be here a longer time so I should save, so I walk over to the star and press it.

It seems coming to Inaba isn't going to be as peaceful as the monsters or you thought. Now a mystery has been thrust upon you in order to find the culprit behind the two most recent murders. The start of a new adventure and all the new friends and times you'll have this following year Fills you with Determination.
