The Big Rescue

Yosaflame's POV

Running through the halls and cutting down any random demon that was in my way. I can't lose to them and I need to find her. Cutting another demon down I saw more at a door advancing towards me. Sherbet made through slashing and dicing the demons and waited for me to ablaze them. With my breath of fire, the bodies burned to a crisp. "Hey, Yosaflame do you think that she is in there?  Since they are guarding that one door," Sherbet pointed out as he swung his sword in a crest motion letting the blood spray across the floor. Sighing, I nodded before looking at the door. "I'll open it stand outside while I check," I simply said as I walked over to the door. Kicking the door down I walked into the darkened room. Closing my eyes and hearing light sobs come from the closed closet doors. Walking over to the doors I opened the doors to see Yosafire tied up, blindfolded and gagged.

"Yosafire," I cooed trying to see if she still had any fight in her. She stopped and tried to struggle free. Going to my knees I started to untie her and softly cooed to calm her down. Getting the blindfold off I saw those orange-red eyes brimmed with tears. "Daddy," her voice was weak and hoarse as if she didn't have any water so far. Carefully I scooped her up into my arms as snuggled closer to me and started to cry once more. "Please don't let this be a dream," I heard her whisper between her cries. She didn't have much on besides a white nightgown that covered her legs. I patted her head and hummed as I grabbed my cloak and wrapped some of its fabric around her. She settled down a little bit before she grabbed the fabric of my tux and calmed fully down. "Don't worry, my little princess, this isn't a dream. We're here to save you from this nightmare," I softly hummed as I walked out of the room where Sherbet stood over a body that was another demon guard.

His eyes widen when he saw Yosafire in my arms. He brutally thrust the sword once more into the demons back. "I think it's already dead, Sherbet," I gave a bored look as he pulled the sword out and swung it to clean the blood off. "It just pisses me off that they did that to a little girl," he growled as he sheathed the sword and crossed his arms, "we have to find Wodahs and Sebastian now since we found her." I nodded my head. Running through the halls slashing any random demon guards that got in our way. Making our way up to the 4th floor we saw Wodahs just finishing off a guard while Sebastian was checking the one room to the left. "Wodahs we found her let's go she's dehydrated and starving. That's all we saw but I think there is more," I yelled out to him as he looked up at me. His eyes filled with so many emotions that his halo started to turn black. Oh no. As a dark angel that he is, if he became so emotional and couldn't control his emotions then his golden halo turns black and starts leaking black ink-like material.

"Wodahs, calm down or else your halo will start leaking again," I breathed as I fixed my hold on Yosafire and stopped in front of them. His eyes harden and he stood straight once again. "Good, we should head to Sebastian's world to make sure that she is okay and get her some water and some food since we'll be traveling through different worlds to be able to get home to our world. Besides I need to gather up a few things from their world before we can go back," Wodahs pointed his spear at a wall as a portal opened up for us. Sherbet and Sebastian were the first to jump in and I followed suit. Landing on the ground below me I saw the scenery almost similar to our world. But the only differences were the buildings and the living beings here. Walking up to a mansion there was a red-head standing outside fuming and nagging to themselves.

"Grell, what are you doing here?" Sebastian asked as his face turned into an annoyed expression. The red-head, known as Grell turned and just like Sherbet ran up to him. With the slightest ease, Sebastian avoided him and Grell fell to the dirt ground. "Bassy, why are you always so mean?" Grell whined as he got up a dark-haired male with glasses and a stern expression on his face. "Ah, you must be Wodahs the Dark Angel from the Gray World, right?" the male said as he looked over at Wodahs and at us. "Yes, I am, how may I help you-" he paused. "The name is William T. Spears, top chair of the Reaper society and I've come to ask you to make sure you leave this world after you are done due to the fact that many will-" Wodahs interrupted him. "Actually this world is under my brother's and my lady's rule since your world has no real devil or god. So you can't tell me what to do after all the princess of our world is hurt and needs attention before we head back," Wodahs halo turned black once more as ink-like substance leaked from the halo onto his head.

"Ah, head angel, your halo is leaking ink, I think you should calm down now," Sherbet took a step forward before Wodahs swipped his head around and bore his dark grey eyes down on him. Shit. This isn't good. "Head angel, she's barely breathing now and I think she needs some nutrition," I coughed out a quick response as he straightened and walked over to me. His halo stopped leaking black as it stayed in place before he came up to me and felt Yosafire's head. He sighed his relief as I let him take her from my arms. Sebastian pushed Grell aside and opened the front doors to the manor. Wodahs walked through the doors along with Sebastian as I and Sherbet stood outside looking at the two reapers. "Ya'know that was dangerous what you just pulled," Sherbet crossed his arms in front of his chest, "have you ever heard of the legend of Angel's of Darkness. You never make them angry or make them feel sorrow. They become insane and won't stop killing unless you either kill them or a higher-up subdues them with will-power."

I nodded my approval as the reaper Will clicked his teeth before bumping his glasses further up his nose, "an angel and demon working together, is your god and devil that much of retards." Growling passed my lips as I aimed my stare towards the reaper. "How dare you call our leaders such vulgar words," I posed to pounce and so didn't Sherbet. The reaper pulled out its death scythe that looked similar to a gardening tool. Furrowing my brow I reached for my sword that was sheathed to my side. In the corner of my eye, I could see Sherbet doing the same. He knew what I was planning on doing and he was all in on it. Fight till the end of battle/war or die trying. "Now, now that's enough don't you think," hearing the raspy voice of a male. Looking up I saw a man with long silvery white hair wearing black and grey clothing. This man must be Adrain Crevan, one of Lord Kcalb's and Lady Etihw's oldest allies that were the only reaper who understood them.

"Might you be Adrian Crevan, sir," I asked as he chuckled and jumped off the roof where he was perched. "Indeed I am," he said as he giggled at nothing, "there is no need for bloodshed as though I want to keep my connections to the gray world. Stand down William T. Spears or I'll have you removed from the leader role of the reaper society." I watched as the goofy grin disappeared from the male's facial expression. He meant business. "Oh can you tell Kcalb and Etihw that I might as well consider moving into town like they offered so many years ago," he directed his gaze over to us as I gave a curt nod. "Indeed I will sir Crevan," Sherbet beside me relaxed and turned towards the door of the manor, as I spoke in a commanding tone.

I heard the red-heads annoying voice before I walked into the manor as well. It felt strange to be in a home that wasn't in the world I was born in, but it did feel safe enough for me to relax. "Welcome to the Phantomhive Estate, please make yourself feel at home during your short stay," a young voice pierced the air around us. I narrowed my sight to the stairs to see Sebastian at the top with a boy with raven-blue hair and bright dull baby blue eyes, wait an eyepatch is over the right eye. That must be the sign of the signature mark of Sebastian's contract with this boy. I gave a short bow paying the respect to the host of this house, "we will take your word and enjoy our stay at your precious home, young earl of the house, but may I ask, where might Wodahs and the princess might be at this very moment," I paused before continuing, "I am quite worried about their health due to the fact we had an encounter with a very rude reaper that made him angry."

"I heard from Sebastian and yes, it is indeed quite troublesome as Sebastian scribed it as, having an Angel of Darkness show such hatred can be dangerous for everyone without a God or Devil present. But to rest your worries about the two in question my servants prepared a warm bath for the princess to be bathed in and your friend is being tended to for his wounds by the servants of my household," the boy gave a small smile as he made his way down the steps, "my name is Ciel Phantomhive, son of Vincent Phantomhive the previous lord of the underworld of our country that deals with such filth from the other nasty people that roam about this world. And may I ask for your name's as well?" The boy was formal and had a glint of hidden pain that he hid so well. This child has been through many challenges and dangers yet here he stands in the middle of the filthiest worlds darkest secrets.

"My name is Yosaflame, a demon of the green flame, that pervert over there," I pointed to Sherbet as he pretended to act shocked, "is Sherbet, an angel of the frozen Ice. It's a pleasure to meet you, Ciel Phantomhive and be welcomed as your guest." I gave another short bow before playfully glaring at Sherbet as he crossed his arms, puffing his cheeks in a form of pouting. Giving a light chuckle I looked up to see Wodahs dressed in a similar fashion as Sebastian as bandages wrap around his head, "there you two are, you should freshen up seemingly that you rushed here to help me after your mission, am I right?" I nodded as a boy no older than 17 in mortal years rushed over to us and started bawling talking about how the garden was ruined.

Sebastian gave an annoyed look before bowing to us and leaving with the boy. "Yes, commander Wodahs we did due to the fact is that the most important things on our minds were your safety and the princesses safe rescue," Sherbet gave a bow as he spoke formally and winked at me. Geeze. Sighing, I nodded as a male with white short hair while adoring scales as if he was a snake in human skin. "'Smile, the little girl has been cleaned and dressed in the guest quarters as you instructed us to do,' says Emily. 'But we believe that the girl is pledge with nightmares,' says Wordsworth. 'What shall we do now?' Oscar questions," the snake male said quietly. Little girl? Oh no, he's talking about Yosafire since- wait before Etihw gave her fully to me she called her Silhouette. "Do you mean Silhouette by any chance?" I asked the male before me. "'Is that her name?' says Oscar," the male said as if speaking for the snake on his shoulder.

"Yes," I gave a curt nod before continuing, "her name is Silhouette. She is the daughter of our worlds God and Devil." The male stared at me before answering my question, "'she seemed to be struggling with something that is scaring her to the point she won't wake even if we try to shake her awake,' says Emily," the male's voice changed accent as he spoke. So he is speaking for his reptilian friends. "May I ask where are the guest quarters you were speaking of?" I asked as the male pointed the way out. Without causing much of a disturbance I casually walked to the room with the light whimpers of Silhouette. This is worrying me even more. I still remember when she fell and broke her fake light red horn, by accident. She cried and whimpered for awhile but I was able to silent her pain with a lullaby that Kcalb always hummed when Wodahs first came to be.

Walking up to the door, I placed a hand on the door and slowly pushed the weight of the door to slowly open. There lying on the bed covered in sheets and surrounded by pillows was Yosa- no its Silhouette now and nothing else. "This hurts man," spooking me out I looked to the side and saw Sherbet standing there with a frown on his face, "that's just wrong. Many different ways of wrong. If I could, I would kill that airheaded flame devil tenfolds over for all the pain he put my daughter and Silhouette through. Sorry man that she has to figure out that you aren't her father this way, Yosaflame." The sadness rolled off Sherbet in a drowning sensitive wave. "I will be alright with it. Remember I've known this for the longest time and I promised Lady Etihw that I will protect her no matter what happened, but I failed to do so," bowing my head I slowly walked into the room.

"Don't beat yourself up, Yosaf, we were away on a mission that our leaders sent us on due to their fears of the safety of the paradise that they created so they'll most likely won't blame you for what happened," Sherbet grabbed a chair from the side of the room and placed it on the side of the bed, "sit down Yosaf, don't you want to play that little lullaby that Lord Kcalb always hummed when walking around the castle," I gave him a look as he pulled out the hurmonica he always carried to play silly little songs, "I'll play the right notes for you so it'll ease her just for a little while, right?" That goofy grin he usually wore had a sad glint to it as he leaned against the wall. Nodding my head, I sat in the chair and closed my eyes recalling the memory of the lyrics.

~I remember tears streaming down your face; When I said, I'll never let you go; When all those shadows almost killed your light; I remember you said, Don't leave me here alone; But all that's dead and gone and passed tonight~

The soft sounds of the harmonica hit my ears as I looked over Silhouette's sleeping form. She stopped her fussing, but her whimpers still remained. The melody soon took over such things as I recalled the next verse of the lullaby came to mind.

~Just close your eyes; The sun is going down; You'll be alright; No one can hurt you now; Come morning light; You and I'll be safe and sound~

She settled down and relaxed on the bed. Sliding off the chair I placed myself gently on the bed and lightly sang the song of sleep as if it was an enchantment for a spell.

~Don't you dare look out your window darling; Everything's on fire; The war outside our door keeps raging on; Hold onto this lullaby; Even when the music's gone~

Her eyes lightly fluttered as I sang the little tune.Giving a light smile I continued on with the little lullaby.

~Just close your eyes; The sun is going down; You'll be alright; No one can hurt you now; Come morning light; You and I'll be safe and sound~

She smiled in her sleep as all whimpers stopped coming out as she snuggled closer to the silky sheets below her. Her breathing becomes lighter and lighter.

~Just close your eyes; You'll be alright; Come morning light; You and I'll be safe and sound...
Oooooo, OoooOooo,(x6)... ~

She sighed in content in her sleep as everything seemed to settle in the room. The soft humming of the harmonica soon stopped as Sherbet stood straight behind me. "Is it like a special enchantment for young ones to sleep peacefully, Yosaf," his voice was soft and caring as I stood up and dusted myself off. "I actually have no idea I just learned it from Lord Kcalb since he would always sing it to lull a baby version of Wodahs to sleep without any nightmares of how Lord Kcalb found him," I simply put it as I headed towards the door. "It's a spell," a sudden voice stopped me and Sherbet in our path. There stood in front of us were Wodahs and Sebastian. Sebastian was placing new gloves on while Wodahs just stared right at us, "it's a lullaby spell that so little knows about. Either a devil or god has to teach you the lyrics in able for it to work properly. But since you were my brother's right-hand soldier you heard it everytime that he used it on me to make sure to chase away the nightmares away from my sleep."

Wodahs sighed with content as he looked towards the bed where Silhouette now slept peacefully. "At least she is peacefully sleeping now since you use an instrument it made the spell a lot stronger to keep such nightmares away for awhile. But when we get back we need to report this to my brother and Lady Etihw," he scowled as he moved out of the way, gesturing us out so that way he could shut the door a little. "Go get freshen up and have something to fill your stomaches so that way when we leave we can make it there in one trip, this is an order from your commander got it," Wodahs gave off a scary aura as we both nodded our heads and went off to our own separate rooms and rest for a little while.

Wow, such a long and interesting chapter. I have been noticing that a lot of my followers have been disappearing but I have no idea why though. Can anyone help with that since I had over 240 followers and by the minute I am losing them unless they were only here for the previous story 'The Nightmare Never Ends' then so much for those guys but hey if I reach 300 followers this year or this coming summer then I will create the second book of that story and make it more interesting than the last so how do you like that idea. But also next chapter I'm going to give you my idea of how past events happened in able to Wodahs to be Kcalb's younger brother. So~ moving on and see ya all in the next chapter bye~
