Luisa lay awake while Rocket lay beside her sleeping and It was still dark outside. She turned her head to look at her clock and saw it was only 5:38 AM. For fuck sake, Luisa whispered to herself. No longer feeling sleepy Luisa got out of bed and got ready for the day.

By then Rocket had also woken up which Luisa took notice of. Luisa watched as Rocket walked over to her and she picked him up and carried him to the kitchen to get them both breakfast.

This is nice dad, Luisa told Mathias. Mathias who was also riding on his own horse walked along side the horse Luisa was riding on. The horses as calm and happy and I don't want to think about the sadness and regret I felt for not being to save the dragon woman, Luisa added.

We'll talk about the dragon woman later, Mathias told Luisa. Alright, Luisa agreed. I'm glad I never got in trouble for not listening to Dr. Saltzman because then I'd have to do community service and be around so many people and their emotions, Luisa told Mathias.

I'm just gad you weren't here at the game when nearly everyone were fighting, Mathias told Luisa. I know, Right? Luisa questioned Mathias. All that rage would have had me feeling the same, Luisa told Mathias.

It would be nice if mom was still alive and here with us, only if it wasn't for that horrible woman, Luisa told Mathias. Let's just focus on positive emotions for today, ok? Mathias questioned Luisa. Ok, dad, Luisa agreed, once she felt his grief, anger and hatred.

Luisa took notice of Lizzie walking up towards the school. The emotions of embarrassment, anger, sadness and jealously came off Lizzie and into Luisa. So much for a day of positive emotions, dad Luisa told Mathias.

I'm gonna go make sure Lizzie's okay and then I'll come back, Luisa told Mathias. Luisa got off the horse and jogged toward Lizzie and soon caught up with her at the door to the school.

Luisa saw Lizzie's clothes were covered in milkshake. Lizzie, who did this to you? Luisa questioned Lizzie. Lizzie didn't answer and continued walking so Luisa followed after Lizzie.

Lizzie and Luisa arrived to Alaric's office where he was talking with Emma.

A jerk, you are a total jerk, Lizzie told Alaric. Confusion followed through Alaric and Emma then into Luisa. What happened to you? Alaric questioned Lizzie. 

A neanderthal from Mystic Falls High assaulted me with a milkshake, this stupid girl Dana was being, you know what I can't even talk about it but now Hope and Josie are all sisters in solidarity, Lizzie told Alaric.

Lizzie turned to face Emma. But as I was walking home, I did the work and I dug deep and I realized this is all his fault, Lizzie told Emma. Lizzie, Emma and Luisa turned toward Alaric.

How is this my fault? Alaric questioned Lizzie? Because if you had just been at that game instead of running around with Hope, then everything would have gone differently and it is not fair that she gets to know secrets that your own daughters don't, Lizzie cried. 

She has a point, Emma told Alaric. Not helping, Alaric told Emma. I am not going back there, Lizzie told Alaric. Okay, that's fine, um...why don't you go help the primary school students out in the garden, Alaric told Lizzie.

At least now you know why I am so screwed up, Lizzie told Emma. Come on Luisa, I need you right now, Lizzie told Luisa. Luisa, Alaric and Emma watched Lizzie leave the office. Dr. Saltzman can you tell my dad I'm helping Lizzie out, Luisa questioned Alaric. Sure thing, Alaric answered Luisa. Thanks, Luisa thanked Alaric. Luisa then hurried to catch up with Lizzie.

Lizzie found a giant rock to lay on and used her arms to cover her eyes. Aren't you supposed to help?, Pedro questioned Lizzie and Luisa. 

Consider this a life lesson, Pedro, people disappoint, Lizzie told Pedro as she sat up. Lizzie, how can I help you out? Luisa questioned Lizzie. That statue just moved, Pedro told Luisa and Lizzie. Luisa could feel Pedro was being honest. Lizzie and Luisa turned around to look at the statue then turned back to face Pedro. Good one, Lizzie told Pedro. 

I mean I deserve to know what's happening just as much as Hope, I'm his freaking daughter, Lizzie told Pedro and Luisa. It's doing it again, Pedro told them while pointing at the statue. The fear Pedro was also feeling went into Luisa.

Luisa and Luisa turned around a second time and saw the statue was closer to them. We're being linked, Pedro, Lizzie told Pedro. We should just go somewhere else, Luisa told them.  The sixth grade witches are learning illusion spells this semester, Lizzie told Pedro. It's...It's...It's Pedro stuttered. Let me guess, it's right behind me,? Lizzie questioned Pedro.

Lizzie and Luisa turned around a third time and saw that the statue was no longer there which left her and Lizzie both feeling confused. Where the heck did it go? Luisa questioned them.

The fear Pedro hit Luisa harder. Lizzie, Luisa, Pedro said. Luisa and Lizzie turned back to face Pedro only to see the statue there in front of them moving and holding his weapon. Pedro, Lizzie said. Now Luisa could feel the fear and worry in Lizzie for safety and lives.

Run! Lizzie exclaimed, as the statue screeched. Lizzie, Luisa and Pedro ran away from the statue. Get inside, Pedro! Lizzie exclaimed.  I need you to give me your hand, Lizzie said. Both Pedro and Luisa offered Lizzie their hand for Lizzie to siphon off their magic so she could do magic. 

Their hands glowed red until Lizzie let each of their hand go. Now, go find my dad, go, Lizzie told them. Luisa and Pedro ran off to go find Alaric for help.

Luisa and Pedro returned to Lizzie with Alaric along with a few other students and found Lizzie on the floor with her eyes still open and making sounds of fear and pain which Luisa felt. Lizzie? Alaric questioned Lizzie.

Oh, my God, Lizzie, oh, what happened? What happened? Can you? Alaric questioned Lizzie. She isn't moving, why? Alaric questioned Pedro and Luisa. The statue hurt her, Pedro told Alaric. 

Alaric lifted up Lizzie's torn up shirt and on her body was long wide claw marks that were grey. Luisa, Alaric, Pedro and the others felt worry for Lizzie and confusion since they never seen such a injury like that before.

While Alaric was on the phone with Dorain to learn information and the few students were around Lizzie, Luisa was holding Lizzie's hand to provide her comfort and Luisa was focusing hard on making Lizzie feel calm and comforted by her and absorbing her fear, worry and pain. 

Luisa smiled once she felt Lizzie feeling thankful which was her was of thanking Luisa for comforting her and calming her down.

We are on lockdown, on one goes outside, period, I want you all in your rooms, upper class you're on the buddy system, lower class, I want you to go with Emma to the Grand Hall, okay? Everybody let's go, Alaric announced to the students. Alaric left the room with the knife to look for the Gargoyle.

Hearing the Gargoyle screech made Luisa jump in fear. It's in the hallway, Emma told everyone. By now everyone's fear and worry was becoming overwhelming for Luisa while she was trying her hardest to make Lizzie remain calm.

The Gargoyle making loud sounds like attaching along the wall was both annoying and terrifying for everyone to hear. Emma made her way toward the door to look through the glass. Everyone, stay very quiet, Emma told everyone.

Nullum Visi laris, Emma chanted.  Luisa, Lizzie and the other felt relief that Emma used a cloaking spell to hide all of them from being see and found from the Gargoyle. Luisa and the other also looked through the glass and moments later the Gargoyle appeared in front of the door making Luisa jump in fright and surprise like everyone else except Lizzie. 

The Gargoyle let out a grown and soon continued on his way through the school making everyone and Luisa feel relief which made Luisa feel a bit better however Luisa could feel Emma was terrified so Luisa also focused on making Emma feel calm. Thank you, Luisa, Emma thanked Luisa. Anytime, Luisa told Emma.

Lizzie now lay on the floor while everyone including Luisa all huddled down and together to hide and they all remained quiet so the Gargoyle wouldn't find them.

Emma? Emma? Alaric questioned. Emma got up and walked to the door to open it and she made a shushing gesture for Alaric, Josie and Hope to be quiet. The Gargoyle appeared at the top of the stairs. Emma closed the door again. 

Again Luisa tuned everyone out so she could focus on making Lizzie calm and absorbing her fear and pain while outside, Alaric, Hope and Josie dealt with the Gargoyle.

It's nice to be better and alive, Lizzie told Josie and Luisa. Thank you for being there for me and using your abilities to help me, Lizzie thanked Luisa. Lizzie and Josie both hugged Luisa so she returned the hug. I also felt how much you helped Lizzie today, Josie told Luisa. 

Thank you so much for that even though it takes a lot out of you and effects you, Josie thanked Luisa.

They soon ended the hug. Don't worry, I like helping anytime I can, Luisa told Lizzie and Josie. Was that the longest you ever used your abilities on someone for? Lizzie questioned Luisa. Yes, it was? Luisa answered Lizzie. I surprised I managed to stay focused for that long with the danger today, Luisa told Lizzie and Josie.

So with the Gargoyle dead what do you think is going to know up next? Luisa questioned Lizzie and Josie. Ugh, I don't even want to think about it after the day I've had, Lizzie told Luisa. What she said, Luisa, Josie told Luisa. That's okay, Luisa replied. 

Hopefully no other supernatural creatures we believe to not exist don't show up and to try and attack or kill anyone, Luisa told Lizzie and Josie. I hope not, Lizzie and Josie said at the same time.

Luisa sat by Lizzie and Josie while all the other students who were either sitting down and standing up we gathered there to listen to Alaric's announcement. 

If you'd ask me a week ago I would have told you I knew the difference between myth and fact, I would have said that supernaturals were limited to the species under this roof, I would have said that folklore and fairy tales were just stories, Alaric told everyone as he walked down the steps of the stairs past the students. 

But I can no longer say that any of that's true, cause just a few days ago we were confronted by the existence of a dragon, and then today our campus was terrorized by a Gargoyle come to life, Alaric told them. 

The other students felt surprise which Luisa felt and of course the emotions annoyed her since the news didn't surprise Luisa since she already encountered the dragon and the Gargoyle.

Some of us were forced to fight, we won this time, they were drawn here by a knife that went missing earlier this week and for whatever reason these creatures consider us to be the enemy, in their minds we're the villain because we won't give them what they want, Alaric told everyone. 

Luisa and everyone watched as Alaric walked back toward the stairs. We don't even know why they want it but we're gonna find out, Alaric continued. 

I can't say for sure what their true intentions are, I can't say there won't be more attacks, that's why I'm telling you this, to warn you, to ask you to look out for each other, to do what's best for one another, because we're more than just a school, we're a family and we will stand together, we will fight together, and we will win or lose this battle together, No matter what comes next, Alaric finished saying.

Luisa walked down the hallway holding a bowel with two avocados to hang out with Lizzie and Josie and she stopped when she saw Landon and Rafael back which surprised her. Luisa turned and walked toward them.

Hey, Landon, Hey Rafael, I'm surprise you guys are back so welcome back, Luisa said. Jeremy Gilbert brought us back, Rafael told Luisa. He saved us from a werewolf hunter, Landon told Luisa. where's Jeremy now, Luisa questioned Them. He's talking with the headmaster, Landon answered Luisa.

Anyway would you guys both like these avocados? Luisa questioned them. No, I'm allergic to them, Landon told Luisa. I'm not hungry, Rafael told Luisa. Instantly she sensed they were both being honest. Well I'm here if you both want a friend, Luisa told them. 

Thanks, it's good to know you don't hate me, Landon told Luisa. Yeah, it'll be nice to be friends, Rafael told Luisa. See you tomorrow then, Landon told Luisa. Of course, I'll be heading to Lizzie and Josie now, Luisa told them.

Luisa made her way to the couch Lizzie and Josie were on, talking and dating brownies. Luisa sat down beside Lizzie. Thanks for being there for Lizzie, Josie thanked Luisa. Anytime, Luisa told Josie. Do you want a brownie? Lizzie questioned Luisa. No thanks, I've got my two avocados, Luisa answered Lizzie. 

Luisa began to eat the first avocado while Lizzie and Josie ate the brownies.

I'm amazed and proud of you for what you did for Lizzie today, Mathias told Luisa. Well she was scared and in pain and she is one of my best friends, Luisa told Mathias.

Rocket moved off Mathias's lap and lay on the floor then closed his eyes. Luisa then felt sleepy but she decided to fight it so she could talk to her dad for a little while.

I'm not looking forward to more attacks on this school, and it sucks the dragon woman had to be killed and the Gargoyle too since he was going to kill anyone supernatural because he saw us as a dangers to humans, Luisa told Mathias.

I'm glad at least even though I couldn't be there to keep you safe you were in a room with the others and safe with them, Mathias told Luisa. You can't always protect me, dad, which is why since I've gotten here, I've been learning from Dr. Saltzman to fight and use weapons to protect myself because you won't always be around, Luisa told Mathias.

I know however I do worry for you, Mathias told Luisa. Sometimes I do wish I were a witch or a vampire so It would be easier to protect myself and also to see if I could stop feeling emotions for a while since it is draining and exhausting, but don't worry I don't want to be a vampire or live forever since I'd like to someday reunite with mom, Luisa told Mathias. 

I'm glad because I don't want you dying or having no humanity and I'm looking forward to the day I reunite with your mother, Mathias told Luisa. A wave of sadness then hit Luisa and she began crying.

Mathis pulled Luisa in for a hug. Luisa wasn't sure if it was her emotion or if it was her dad's sadness she was feeling however she returned the hug.
