Luisa woke up to hearing knocking on her door. Luisa, are you dressed and awake yet? MG questioned Luisa. I'm sleeping, Luisa yelled. Today is charity flag football, we're playing against the Mystic Falls High team, are you going to watch us play? MG questioned Luisa. 

MG walked in the room. Everybody else is awake, your breakfast is waiting for you, MG told Luisa. Please tell me it's pancakes, Luisa said. It is because I know it's your favorite, MG told Luisa. I won't be watching the game since I'm not exactly a fan of sports and you can go now so I can get ready for today, we'll hang out later, Luisa told MG. Great, MG said. 

After MG left, Luisa got out of bed and Rocket woke up. Luisa grabbed clothes to put on and grabbed Ro key and went on her way to get breakfast for both of them. Luisa gave Rocket a bowel of water and a acorn for his breakfast.

Good you're awake, are you going to watch the game? Mathias questioned Luisa. No, I'm not, Luisa said. In fact I've changed my mind and decided to help Dr. Saltzman and Hope find Landon, I want to know what he is and see it for myself, Luisa answered Mathias. So can you please watch Rocket until I get back? Luisa questioned Mathias. 

Of course I will, Mathias answered Luisa. Thank you so much, dad, Luisa thanked Mathias. Anytime, just be carful, Mathias told Luisa. Don't worry, I'll be carful, Luisa told Mathias.

He can come, Alaric told Hope. Luisa hurried to catch up with Dr. Saltzman to his vehicle. What? Hope questioned Alaric. He knows Landon, he'll be an asset and we need all the help we can get so fix the car and hop in, Alaric said. And put a shirt on, Alaric told Rafael. Are you gonna be okay to handle this and with our emotions? Alaric questioned Luisa. 

I got my walls up with blocking you guys emotions so that I don't feel it, Luisa answered Alaric.

Alaric pulled to a stop then Luisa, Rafael, Hope and Alaric got out the car, closing the doors behind them. 

I don't know why he's still out here, he has a whole day's lead on us, he could be anywhere, Hope said. Maybe cause he doesn't have a reason to run, Rafael told Hope. Logic that would be perfectly believable if he hadn't you know, ran, Hope told Rafael. Wait, shh!, Alaric said. Luisa, Hope and Rafael turned around to face Alaric. 

Luisa was curious of what Alaric stopped them for. You hear that? Alaric questioned them. Hear what? Luisa questioned Alaric. Someone's here, Alaric told them. Alaric took off the other way so Luisa, Hope and Rafael followed behind him.

There was a woman wearing a white dress with long black hair and she smelled like smoke. I-it's okay, I-I'm not gonna hurt you, were you on the bus? Can you tell us what happened?, Alaric questioned the woman. Is she a survivor? Hope questioned Alaric. Who are you? Luisa questioned the woman. 

Uh, smells like it, she reeks of smoke, Rafael said.

 I think she's in shock, look I need to get her to the police so she can get some medical attention, Alaric told them. uh, why don't you three go ahead? Alaric asked them.

 Don't engage, Alaric told them. We don't know how dangerous Landon is, Alaric said. He's not dangerous, Rafael told Alaric. I said don't engage, Alaric said. Come on, Hope Rafael and Luisa. Luisa and Rafael followed Hope leaving Alaric along to help the woman.

What exactly happen on that bus? Rafael questioned Hope. I'd like to know too, Luisa told Hope. No one knows, Hope told them. it's like something incinerated it from the inside, Hope said.

 Look, whatever he did, I know there's a good explanation, he's the most loyal friend that I've ever had, he was there for me on the worst day on my life, after my girlfriend died, he's the only thing that kept me going, so let me get back that knife for you and then we three can hear him out, okay? Rafael questioned Hope. 

Appreciate the passion, but maybe we should exert some of it making new friends, Hope told Rafael.

So I can be as popular and well liked as you, Rafael told Hope. Hope turned around to face Rafael. Yeah, I've been at the school for two days and I've already heard all about Hope Mikaelson and her sunny disposition, I'll get you the stupid not-stupid knife and the answers you want, I promise, Rafael told Hope. 

And why should I believe you? Hope questioned Rafael. Because I don't lie, Rafael answered Hope. 

Luisa could feel Rafael was being honest which made her relieved. Everybody lies, Hope told Rafael.  He's in the root cellar, you have three minutes to do this your way, Hope told Rafael. Wait, the headmaster said don't engage, Rafael said. two minutes, 59, two minutes 58, Hope said. Rafael jogged away and Hope stopped counting.

Once Rafael was inside the root cellar, Hope walked towards the root cellar with Luisa following behind her. That wasn't me, Landon told Rafael. Then who was it? Hope questioned Landon. Luisa however could sense Landon was telling the truth. Luisa put back up her wall to prevent herself from feeling the emotions that Hope, Rafael and Landon were feeling. 

You said three minutes, Rafael said. Like I said, people lie, Hope told Rafael. 

Corporis impetu, Hope chanted. Hope shot her arm out making Landon fly backwards and hitting the wall. Hey! Rafael exclaimed. Rafael stood protectively in front of Landon to protect him from Hope. Where's the knife? Hope questioned Landon. I don't have it, I must've lost it when I ran, Landon told Hope. 

After you burned the bus, Hope said. That wasn't me, I swear, I barely got out alive, Landon told Hope. Hope, come on, Rafael Pleaded. Last chance, who the hell was it? Hope angerly questioned Landon. There was this girl...Landon began saying.

I don't believe a word you're saying, Hope told Landon, after he finished telling them what happened. You have every right to be mad at me but I am telling you the truth, come on man, help me, Landon said. I believe him, Rafael told Hope. You believe that a fire-breathing woman burned the bus alive, Hope said. Yeah, Rafael said. 

And Landon happened to be spared? Hope questioned Rafael. He told you that he ran, Rafael told Hope. And conveniently lost the knife on the way, Hope said. Yes, Rafael said. She kept coming at me like she was gonna take it from me, she was burning everything in her path, Landon told Hope. 

You want to explain to me what you were doing stealing the knife in the first place? Hope questioned Landon.

I don't remember stealing it, Landon answered Hope. How do you not Remember something like that, Luisa questioned Landon. Of course not, how about pretending to be compelled? Hope questioned Landon. That was to avoid being thrown back in the werewolf dungeon, Landon told Hope. Transitional cellar, Hope corrected Landon. 

Small places, Hope you have to understand Dr. Saltzman had already told me the school wasn't gonna let me stay, if he thought I'd talk he'd lock me back up, there wasn't a good ending for me, I didn't want to steal from you and I don't want a fire-breather chasing after me, I'm sorry for all of it, Landon told Hope. Landon turned and walked away and Rafael walked up to Hope. 

He's not lying, I know him, not if he says that there's a fire-breathing woman running through the woods then there is a, Rafael began. There's a fire breathing woman running through the woods, Alaric told them. A pyromancer? Luisa questioned Alaric. Did I or did I not say "don't engage" ? Alaric questioned Hope, Luisa and Rafael. 

He's only dangerous if crappy apologies can kill, Hope told Alaric. I just wanted to see what kind of supernatural Landon is, Luisa told Alaric. Looks can be deceiving, now our bus refugee turns out she's a pyromancer, Alaric told them. Wait, what's a pyromancer? Landon questioned Alaric. A fire-breathing witch, Hope answered Landon.

Ric, she wants the knife, Hope told Alaric. Okay, well, where is it? Alaric questioned. They all turned to look at Landon. I-I lost it in the woods, I was running around in circles all night trying to find a place to hide, Landon said. Okay, okay, well, let's uh, find it before she does, huh? Alaric questioned. Alaric went back up the stairs and Luisa, Hope, Rafael and Landon followed behind him.

Once the got back outside the woman was already there. We don't want any trouble, Alaric told the woman. The woman held out her hand which made Luisa curious as to what she wanted. What does she want? Rafael questioned. I don't know, Landon told Rafael. Lan? Rafael questioned Landon. 

You liar, you've got the knife on you, Luisa said. Maybe she wants the knife he said he don't have, Hope told Rafael. Luisa could feel desperation coming from the woman. 

Hey, lady, can you under stand what language we're speaking? Luisa questioned the woman. None of us want any trouble from you, Luisa told the woman. Luisa prepared herself to make the woman feel calm until she spit fire out of her mouth towards them.

Back in the cellar, go, go, go, go, go, Alaric told them. Luisa, Hope, Landon, Rafael and Alaric ran back into the cellar and Alaric closed the door to prevent the fire from killing them.

Where the hell is it? Hope angerly questioned Landon. Now Luisa could feel Hope's anger which made her angry too and also since Landon was lying. Where if the fucking knife, Landon? Luisa angerly questioned Landon. I'm sorry, I panicked, Landon told Hope and Luisa. Landon handed Hope the knife and Hope took ahold of it. 

What the hell Lan? Rafael questioned Landon. Confusion swept into Luisa. Hope, the doors, Alaric said. Got it, Hope told Alaric. Aiduuatur, Hope chanted while having her arm aimed at the door. The fire went out. Luisa breathe a sigh of relief at that. Okay, it's a quick fix, it won't last long, Hope told everyone. 

Alright, great, I need a cellphone, Alaric said. Take your pick, Landon told Alaric. Alaric walked over to get the cellphone and among those were other objects. What is all this? Hope questioned. Rafael picked up a man's ID. It's from the people on the bus, Rafael answered Hope. Hope and Luisa looked at Landon. I didn't bring it here, I..., Landon began. 

Luisa sensed be was being honest. If he says "I swear" one more time I'm gonna melt him, Hope said. The feeling of Hope's anger and everyone else's fear was becoming overwhelming for Luisa so she focused on blocking out every bodies emotions to stop herself from feeling them.

Please tell me you have something, Alaric said into the cellphone. Connection sucks, where are you? Dorian questioned Alaric. Root cellar full of contraband that our pickpocket Landon Kirby claims he didn't steal, Hope told Dorain.  

There's a fire-breather outside, can you prioritize you rage? Rafael questioned Hope. It's a pyromancer Dorain, Luisa told Dorain. Dragon, Dorian said. What, Alaric questioned Dorain. Dragon, she steals treasure, breathes fire, hides the loot in her hair, she's-she's not a pyromancer, Dorain began. Dragon's don't exist or look like normal people, Alaric told Dorain. 

There was a time we would have said that about vampires, Dorian told Alaric. Okay, fine, she's a, a human dragon, now what? Alaric questioned Dorain. 

In anything I've ever read, Dorian began. In fiction, Alaric told Dorain. The way to take down a dragon, you need a buttload of courage and a sword, Dorian said. How about a knife? Hope questioned Dorain. Um no Hope, we don't have to kill the dragon, I can use my power to keep dragon woman calm and, Luisa began. 

Luisa, you can't keep the dragon calm for long without exhausting yourself and then she'll end up killing you with her fire so I have to kill her, just stay down here until this is over or do I have to use the sleeping spell on you?, Hope questioned Luisa. Fine, but I don't like this, Luisa told Hope.

The dragon is dead, Hope told Luisa. Hope walked in with Landon and Rafael. They each grabbed a shovel and walked back out so Luisa followed them out only for them to see a giant dragon. 

Luisa gasped in surprise and excitement at seeing a dragon and knowing that they weren't fictional like she once believed them to be. He dragon flew upwards growling and them aimed fire down upon them causing Luisa and the others to fear for their lives. Hope saved them from being burned alive with her magic.

Was that a...? Landon questioned as he pointed up at the dragon. You guys go, get to the car and get out of here, Hope told them as she threw her shoves to the side. What about you? Rafael questioned Hope. I have an idea, Hope said. 

What? Alaric questioned Hope. What's you plan, Hope? Luisa questioned Hope. Hope pulled out the knife from behind her. She wants this, she's going to be back, Hope said. Alright you three, go to the car, I'll meet you there, go, go, Alaric told Luisa, Rafael and Landon.

 Landon ran away first then Rafael ran behind Landon then Luisa finally divides to get out of there to the safety of Alaric's car.

Luisa sat on the grass with her eyes closed on focused on keeping her wall up so she wouldn't feel the other's emotions. Luisa Landon and I are leaving now, Rafael told Luisa. 

I left a letter for Hope to read explaining everything and what I wanted to say to her but I doubt she'll want to see me again after what I did, Landon told Luisa.

 I understand, you both love each other like brothers and you don't want to be apart which is why you are both leaving since Landon isn't accepted at the Salvatore school, Luisa said.

 Goodbye, Rafael told Luisa. Goodbye, Luisa, Landon told Luisa. Goodbye Landon, goodbye, Rafael, Luisa said. Luisa watched as they both walked away. 

Luisa was disappointed since she felt that she and Landon could have become friends and with her having a small crush on Rafael something could have came from it if they both stayed and gotten to know each other.

Alaric finally arrived to the car. Where's Hope? Luisa questioned Alaric. She's burying the body, Alaric answered Luisa. Alaric found Landon's note on the windshield and so they waited for Hope.

Hope walked to the car once she was done burying the dragon woman's dead body. Where are they? Hope questioned Alaric. Gone, I found this on the wind shield when I got back, Alaric told Hope. Alaric handed Hope, Landon's letter. 

Luisa felt sadness and guilt over not being to save the dragon woman and that she had to be killed in order to protect their lives and to keep the supernatural a secret from the humans.

Alaric and Luisa both go in the car and Hope entered the car when she finished reading Landon's note to her and Luisa could feel Alaric's anger and disappointment and Hope's guilt, anger and grief.

Luisa was happy to finally arrive back to the school and soon enough Alaric stopped his car. Luisa undid her seatbelt and got out the car, closing the door behind her.

Luisa found her dad holding the harness on Rocket for his safety and walking with him. Luisa walked toward her dad and Rocket. Once Luisa got close enough, Rocket climbed up Luisa's left leg and climbed up to her shoulder. Luisa took hold of Rocket and held him and she began petting his head and soon enough, he began purring. 

Did you guys not find Landon and where's Rafael? Mathias questioned Luisa. 

We found Landon hiding in a root cellar from a woman who turned into a dragon and after Dr. Saltzman killed the dragon, Rafael and Landon left together and we don't know where they are now, and we don't know what Landon is either which we'll probable never know since I'm sure they are never coming back here, Luisa answered Mathias.

 I'm just glad you're safe, Mathias told Luisa. The feeling of relief flowed into Luisa.

There's no need for you to have been worried about me when Hope was with us, Luisa told Mathias. Well you tend to not worry about yourself so someone's gotta worry about you, it's my job to worry as your dad, Mathias told Luisa. 

So I'll see you tomorrow morning for class, Luisa told Mathias. Have a good night, Mathias told Luisa. 

Night, dad, Luisa told Mathias. Luisa took hold of Rocket's harness and walked the way to the school to go to her bedroom. 

Luisa closed her bedroom door and set Rocket down on the floor so she could take off his harness then she put the harness on her dresser. Luisa grabbed the ball off her dresser than Rocket enjoyed playing with so she let the ball roll to Rocket. 

Luisa smiled at feeling Rocket's excitement and happiness at the sight of the ball. Rocket hit the ball around and chased it around the bedroom. Luisa laughed as Rocket rolled around holding the ball then jumping at it while he was having the best time.
