Geno and Glitchy
Reaper was screaming as she flew away from a vine creature that was after her.
Life had evolved into even more of a bitch after the break in, and it had become a weekly occurrence for Reaper to have to deal with one of her plant creations.
And they always seemed to bother Reaper when she was trying to eat chocolate.
She hadn't had chocolate for two weeks because of these things.
Reaper was this close to taking matters into her own hands and reaping Life herself. She had been addicted to chocolate ever since Fire had introduced her to Moon Chocolate, and to be cut off from it, for nearly two weeks, was killing her.
"Reaper~"
She muffled her screams, she just wanted some chocolate, and a little bit of peace, was that too much to ask for?
She didn't see the portal until she flew into it, but she didn't figure out what it did until someone crashed into her.
"OH MY GOSH! I'M SO SORRY!"
-----
Fate frowned once she noticed that Reaper had slipped through one of the natural cracks between Multiverses, the transfer had caused some of Fate's programs to fracture and break. She decided to check Reaper's programming when she got back and she froze...
She quickly added a line of coding to make sure that her fun wouldn't end too soon, and the idea that travelling across Multiverses came with a price, before she turned her attention to her real toy.
Dreamtale was slowly coming into existence and Fate squealed, soon, her precious boy would have more ways to have fun with the Destroyer.
She was so proud of what was happening right now.
-----
Error screamed as the red paint splashed her in the eyesockets, she couldn't see! SHE COULDN'T SEE!
She felt herself being knocked down, and something pinned her arms down, breaking them.
She screamed, before she stopped, as she felt something being brought down on her eyesockets....
Once.... Twice... She lost count of how many times that item was brought down on her eyesockets...
And hands, scrambling around in her eyesockets, trying to break bones and pull them out. She screamed again, using a bone attack to try and knock the artist off of her.
Make it stop! Make it stop!
The sound of a Blaster echoed throughout her head and Error breathed a sigh of relief as her Blaster shot Ink off of her, right before he Dusted her again...
----
Fate smiled, she was so happy to see that her Toy was suffering.
-----
Reaper stepped out on the other side of the portal. "I wonder why Mr.Error was so worried when he looked at my coding?" She asked herself, but why did she feel like she had forgotten somethings about her adventure.... Maybe it was a side effect of travelling between Multiverses?
But still, she wouldn't wait for the days to come....
Reaper smiled, right before a sudden pain flared up behind her eyesockets, she screamed, closing them as she curled up into a ball.
Make it stop! Make it stop!
A sudden portal opened underneath Reaper and she fell through it, landing in a nest of blue strings.
Reaper looked around after she opened her eyesockets, she could see puppets and Red Souls wrapped up within the blue strings.
Wait, blue strings and Red Souls? Was she in the lair of the Destroyer?
She slipped out of the nest and she floated down to the white floor, this was the lair of the Destroyer that Papy and Father talked about?!
The one that kept them alive?
Everyone in Reapertale knew about the Balance, despite the Creator's efforts to hide it, and to keep everyone unaware and ignorance of it.
They were Gods, part of the Multiverse itself, they would know about it, they could feel it.
In other Multiverses, Ink would find a way to cut them off from it, but here, they knew all about it.
And so, eventually, Ink was forbidden from Reapertale, they didn't trust him, he was a liar, and Asgore often spoke out against him at meetings.
Ink was not pleased that some of the members of his future group seemed to be listening to the King, and having second thoughts about joining Ink in his fight.
He started to bother the other Gods whenever they had to leave Reapertale to do business with the other AUs, he got in the way of their jobs, and he demanded that Sans should start to attend the meetings, instead of letting Asgore do it.
Asgore responded by saying that Ink had no right to demand that, Reaper would attend the meetings when Reaper was ready, or Reaper had free time, after all, who's fault was it that the Multiverse was full of AUs with life within them? And who created the codes for the Resets when the AUs were created?
And did the Creator know how much Paperwork he had given the Deaths when they had to resurrect the Souls that they had Reaped when a Genocidal Timeline was Reset?
Oh, did he need a reminder? Oh yes, it was the fucking Creator!
So, could he kindly stop poking the nose that belonged to him, and his paint drinking ass into their business, so that we can do our jobs, which are the reasons why this Multiverse can continue to exist, after we fix your mistakes!
Reaper couldn't help but to giggle when she remembered that. Ink was someone that just rubbed her the wrong way... No, it was more than that.
There was something very wrong with him, and it wasn't just his Soulless issue....
But she didn't know what it was....
Reaper shook her head as she floated, only to stop when she saw the puddle of narrow surrounding a skeleton.
She floated over to the Skeleton, before she gasped at the state of their eyesockets.
"Who did this?" She whispered in shock and horror. She felt sick. Who would be sick enough to do something like this?
She floated down to the floor and she knelt down next to the Skeleton, she didn't even care that her robe was soaking up the still wet narrow coming from the other Skeleton.
She could see the cavernous hole where the eyesockets used to be, and she could see the fractured remains that had landed in the skull.
She picked up a piece, and her eyesockets widened when it didn't decay in her hand. She looked back at the skull and she could see a place where it could fit...
She carefully placed the fragment in the right spot and she watched as it reattached itself, healing.
The wounded Skeleton whimpered, it was obvious that they had felt her hand in their skull, and that piece reconnecting with their skull.
"Shhhh..." Reaper whispered to the Skeleton. "It's okay, I'm going to help you." She moved so that she could place the other Skeleton's skull in her lap, before she rolled up her sleeves, this was going to take quite some time.
She started to hum as she stuck her hand into the skull, retrieving all of the pieces, before she carefully placed them by her side and she picked up a few pieces that looked like they could connect to the skull.
Words came to her mouth and she started to sing them as she started to put the other Skeleton's eyesockets back together.
"I am a question to the world,
Not an answer to be heard.
Or a moment that's held in your arms.
And what do you think you'd ever say?
I won't listen anyway…
You don't know me,
And I’ll never be what you want me to be.
And what do you think you'd understand?
I'm a girl, no, I'm a woman..
You can't take me and throw me away.
And how can you learn what's never shown?
Yeah, you stand here on your own.
They don't know me 'cause I'm not here.
And I want a moment to be real,
Wanna touch things I don't feel,
Wanna hold on and feel I belong.
And how can the world want me to change?
They’re the ones that stay the same.
They don’t know me,
'Cause I’m not here.
And you see the things they never see
All you wanted, I could be
Now you know me, and I'm not afraid
And I wanna tell you who I am
Can you help me be a woman?
They can't break me
As long as I know who I am
And I want a moment to be real,
Wanna touch things I don't feel,
Wanna hold on and feel I belong.
And how can the world want me to change?
They’re the ones that stay the same.
They can’t see me,
But I’m still here.
They can’t tell me who to be,
‘Cause I’m not what they see.
Yeah, the world is still sleepin’,
While I keep on dreamin’ for me.
And their words are just whispers
And lies that I’ll never believe.
And I want a moment to be real,
Wanna touch things I don't feel,
Wanna hold on and feel I belong.
And how can they say I never change?
They’re the ones that stay the same.
I’m the one now,
‘Cause I’m still here.
I’m the one,
‘Cause I’m still here.
I’m still here.
I’m still here.
I’m still here."
----
Error slowly woke up to the feeling of someone lying on top of her, and she could see the blue strings above her with the Red Souls tied within then, blocking out the white ceiling...
Wait... What?!
Error gasped as shot up, and her arms caught whoever had been sleeping on her, she looked down to see a pair of fluffy wings.
Fluffy wings?
Error brushed back the hood that the owner of the fluffy wings was wearing and she stared at the sleeping face of the h̶e̶r̶ Reaper child.
"How did you get here?" Error asked, before she raised her arm up and she felt the area around her eyesockets. She could feel the scarring around them, it was fresh.
The lower half of the h̶e̶r̶ Reaper child's robe was soaked in her narrow and she could see the dried and crusted remains of her narrow, on their hands, did they put all of the shattered pieces of her skull back into place, on their own?
She sighed, before she stood up, holding the kid, and she walked over to her beanbag, placing the smaller Skeleton near it, before she removed their robe, putting it to one side.
She tried to summon to strings to see if she could get them to respond to her, but when they didn't, (it looks like I have to wait for my eyesockets to heal a bit more), she used some already summoned strings to bring down the box with her spare clothes.
She stripped off the ones that she was wearing, they were ruined, before she pulled out some clothing from the box.
She could walk around without any clothes for a bit, she got a bit itchy whenever she wore clothes right after she respawned, but the h̶e̶r̶ Reaper child needed clothes.
She pulled out a sweater dress and she put it on the h̶e̶r̶ Reaper child, cooing at the h̶e̶r̶ Reaper child when she realised how cute they were in it. The sweater dress was larger than their robe, and the h̶e̶r̶ Reaper child was swimming in it.
The child nuzzled the collar of the sweater and Error felt herself melting again.
"What are you doing to me Kid?" She asked, before she picked the Kid up, and she settled down in the Beanbag, with the Kid in her lap, as she opened a one sided portal so that she could watch Undernovela, putting her glasses on.
Error started to rub the top of the h̶e̶r̶ Reaper child's skull as she watched her show, and a few hours later, she felt something stirring in her lap.
She looked down as the h̶e̶r̶ Reaper child woke up.
"Good morning Kid."
The H̶e̶r̶ Reaper child looked up and their eyelights met for the first time.
----
Reaper almost jumped when she saw the two toned blue eyelights, in the red eyesockets, of the Skeleton whose eyesockets's that she had to rebuild.
She blushed when she realised that she wasn't wearing her robe, and instead, she was wearing something that had to belong to the other Skeleton.
She was drowning in the item of clothing and she tried to move her arms around so that she could roll up the sleeves, but there was just too much.
The other Skeleton chuckled, before she helped Reaper to roll the sleeves up until they reached her elbows.
She looked up to the other Skeleton again, and they just chuckled.
"Who are you?" Reaper asked.
"I am Error, Reaper child."
Reaper would have protested, and replied that she was not a child, but there was something about how the name was said that made her stop, it was more like a nickname....
So, this was Error, the infamous destroyer? She looked nothing like the rumours that the Creator had spread of her.
Reaper was expecting someone who was a lot like War, but instead, she was looking at someone who reminded her.... Of herself.
And she looked just like Mr.Error, and apart from being a female, Reaper wondered if they could be mistaken for twins.
She reached out with a hand and she patted the Error on the cheek.
"You're nice!" Reaper said, before she curled up on Error's lap again, yawning, before she fell asleep again.
----
Error stared at the h̶e̶r̶ Reaper child, she was so confused. She thought that the Squid would have brainwashed the h̶e̶r̶ Reaper child like most of the Multiverse, but it seems that the h̶e̶r̶ Reaper child hadn't fallen for it.
'Why do I keep calling her mine?' Error thought to herself. 'She's not mine, right?'
Error sighed, even as one of her hands started to clean the soft feathers of one of the h̶e̶r̶ Reaper child's wings.
She was not a Mama, she just had a soft spot for kids, but the faces that the Charas and Frisks gave her when she gave them gifts, and blankets...
"Why?" Error asked herself. "Why me?"
"Because you care." The H̶e̶r̶ Reaper child muttered in her sleep.
She looked at the h̶e̶r̶ Reaper child, before she yawned, and she fell asleep.
"--Error! Name lost!-- you and --Error! Name lost!-- are Tsunderes."
"Shut up--Error! Name lost!--! We are not Tsunderes, and we are not cute!"
"Hahahahaha!"
-----
Reaper woke up when she felt herself being moved. The Error was now dressed in a ragged jacket with a black to blue gradient, with very obvious snitching, on the sleeves.
The pants were in the same style, but one leg was longer than the other one, and she was wearing black sandals.
The coat had some yellow piping, and the Error had thrown on a bright blue scarf.
"Error?"
"It's time for you to go home Reaper child."
"Okay..." Reaper mumbled as she snuggled closer to Error.
The Error smiled, and she placed the bundle that was the h̶e̶r̶ Reaper child's ruined robe in her arms. The H̶e̶r̶ Reaper child could keep the sweater dress.
Error opened a portal and she entered the h̶e̶r̶ Reaper child's room, placing the h̶e̶r̶ Reaper child in her bed, before she made sure that the h̶e̶r̶ Reaper child was safe and warm under the covers.
"Good night Reaper child." Error kissed the h̶e̶r̶ Reaper child on the forehead before she left.
Error didn't see the hedgehog that was made from fire in a corner of the room...
-----
Reaper kept what had happened between her and the Destroyer a secret, she had a feeling that it should stay a secret, and that no one should know about it, not even Papyrus, and so, time marched on.
Dreamtale came into existence and Reaper was forced to watch as Nightmare snapped.
The Reaper child learned a new emotion that day, hatred.
She hated the Creator, all these worlds, all these Monsters and Humans, the Creator created them because he wanted new toys to play with, and when he got bored, he broke them.
Reaper could see the powder keg that was waiting to explode when someone decided to do something about it. It was not going to be pretty when it did happen...
But, the phones that Knowledge made had a major upgrade, they were now touchscreen phones with Wi-Fi and Internet access, music players and Notepads.
Reaper could often be found listening to some of the music that she had on her phone as she worked on her shifts, trying to take her mind off of the burning fuse, leading to the powder keg, that was slowly being burnt away, as the day for when that keg would explode, grew closer.
-----
Geno frowned as he watched another Genocide Route, he had tried everything to get Classic to listen to him, but in the end, someone named Ink had gotten in the way....
Somehow, Ink had sealed off the happy ending for his AU. Geno didn't know how, but Ink had taken everything away from him. Classic had been so close to getting him out, without resorting to any of Geno's Timeline Destroying plans, and it had been for nothing....
He stopped frowning when he heard someone singing, but that was impossible, no one could enter the save screen, apart from Classic, at the end of a Genocide Route....
Was Ink playing a prank on him?!
"Ever on and on, I continue circling,
With nothing but my hate in a carousel of agony,
Till slowly I forget and my heart starts vanishing,
And suddenly I see that I can't break free!"
Geno's white eyelight turned into a red-blue mix and he got ready to attack, but when he saw who it was, he just stopped.
'It's a kid?!' He silently yelled, because the one singing the song was just a tiny Skeleton in an oversized black robe, with a hood, that was kept closed with two robe belts and a Gaster Blaster skull pin.
Geno could see that the tiny Skeleton had a pair of extremely fluffy wings, and that they was tapping on their phone, which had a pair of headphones attached to it.
They wasn't looking where they were floating.
"Hey." Geno spoke up. "You should really watch where you are going."
The tiny Skeleton looked up, and Geno could see the look of surprise on their face, and the feminine skull that stared at him.
"Geno?" The Skeleton even had a feminine sounding voice.
"How do you know my name?" Geno asked.
"GENO!" The tiny Skeleton cried, before they flew over to hug him, laughing.
-----
She couldn't believe it. She had found her Geno! He was so warm, and Reaper didn't care that she was rushing things.
She nuzzled his chest before she looked up at him. "Hug me!" She cried.
-----
Geno just stared at the tiny Skeleton who had hugged him, and they were demanding hugs. They didn't even seem to care about the eternally bleeding gash on his ribcage.
"But..."
"Hug me! I'm used to having narrow on my clothes! It will wash out!"
The Skeleton pouted, and Geno couldn't help but to laugh, did they have any idea of how cute that was?
"Hug me Gen!"
"Alright, fine." Geno huffed, before he hugged the tiny Skeleton.
"But, how do you know my name?" Geno asked, as he stopped hugging the tiny Skeleton. "I don't even know yours."
-----
Reaper blushed. She had remembered the other Death's advice, even if it had been eons since her visit to that Multiverse.
Don't let your Geno go, kid.
She let go of Geno, before she took a deep breath.
"Hi, I'm Death, but you can call me Reaper, Gen!"
-----
Geno's jaw almost dropped.... He had been hugging Death?! Sans had told him that Death was one of the more elusive Sans of the Multiverse, and not even Ink had managed to get Death to agree to be a member of his group.
Stretch was the only one that had gotten a good look at Death, and no one believed him when he said that Death was a fluffball..
But he was right... Death looked like a fluffball...
Wait, Stretch said that the Human died when Death touched them, why wasn't he dying?!
Reaper nervously chuckled. "About that..." It seemed that Reaper had picked up on that. "I can't kill you."
"What?!" Geno asked.
"I can't kill you." Reaper repeated. "It's a glitch in your code Gen... Look, I'm sorry for hugging you like that.."
"No, it's okay." Geno said. "Let's try this again. I'm Geno, and you are?"
"I'm Reaper, it's nice to meet you Geno."
Geno chuckled, before he patted Reaper on the head, and the small Death smiled at him.
