Chapter 1

Sofia's POV

As I sit here looking at Ricky sleep I can't help but wonder what this whole battle will mean for all of us. I close my eyes when I feel Lolita desperate to take over.

Lolita Sofia's wolf's POV

There was so much death in the last battle but it was to be expected. We where after all not prepared to battle. Or shall I say the white wolfs were not. We the minions lead by Jager were very powerful and good at fighting.

I had never meet the alpha. I grew up only knowing Jager as a leader. He was a very bad one. I saw him kill and hurt so many of us wolfs. For none of us were human. We are 100% wolf.

We knew that there was a world named earth that possessed beings that are all human or half human and half wolf. They are called werewolf's or shape shifters. For they have the power to choose what shape they want to be in.

I was happy growing up in my little world. I didn't have jealousy for anything or anybody. We were not made to feel want and need for material things. My father was the Beta to Jager and I grew up knowing him.

It was not until I was of age to mate that He tried to pin me down one day and lucky for me my father came to my rescue. I had heard stories that he had claimed most of the girls in our pack. But my father would have none of that.

Not to long after my father was sent on a mission that resulted in his death. I mourned for him, For I had never felt loss before. Then not to long after my mother followed him. For a white wolf can not survive long without his or her mate.

I was alone now but was not scared. The Alpha provides for everyone. Then one day Jager came to me and told me that he found who murdered my father. That he would help me seek out justice. That the Alpha said it was my job avenge my father.

Little by little Jager started to poison my mind and sway me to the dark side. But with every person I killed . I would pray over there bodies for forgiveness for there soul. I did not know that by doing this all the souls would go into the light and Jager was not aloud to claim them as his own.

He started to get more possessive over me and claimed I was his mate. He said he would claim me when we had finished the job of avenging my father. I thought it was strange that I did not feel a pull for him the way I thought you would feel for your mate. But he is Jager he knew better then me.

I was confused as to who he said was evil and his army was growing. It was not until that fateful day of reckoning that all was reviled to me.

Samuel came along with Divinity and other white wolves. It was then that I noticed that my fur was black now. Jager had a spell on us all. So every time we looked in the mirror we still saw our white fur. But now with the power of the white wolfs we were able to see ourselves for what we had become...Pure Evil.

I turned to Jager. "I don't understand, what does this mean?" I asked him.

"They have come to annihilate us for becoming a strong pack. We have to fight them to protect ourselves." Jager tells me so I fight.

There was the smell of death in the air and everything was turning dark, because some black clouds started to over power the sky. I started to feel an overhauling need to stop fighting.

With every white wolf I took down I took the time to pray over the bodies. I even prayed over the bodies I didn't kill myself. When I would walk and find one in my path.

This cannot be right, why do I feel like there is something wrong here. I then looked up to see Samuel.

"My child you have been deceived along with all the others. Jager has been waging a war against the Alpha for power." Samuel told me.

"No this cannot be I was told by the Alpha to avenge my fathers death." I told Samuel.

"My child the only one with the power to judge is our Alpha and Stephanie who is both judge and jury." Divinity tells me.

I turn and see him before me now. I bow my head "Divinity I don't understand?"

"It was Jager who killed your father. He wanted you at his side so he got ride of the person in his way." Divinity tells me.

I turn to look at Jager who now looks more like a monster. No this can't be, I have wronged the innocent. He has taken so many lives all for his own gain.

"Yes my child, with every soul he gains he gets stronger. But you have slowed down that progress by praying for the souls of the fallen. He could not claim those souls. He also did not know what was causing the loss of souls." Samuel tells me.

I fall to the ground repenting for all the evil I had done. I prayed for forgiveness and for enlightenment as to what I should do now.

Then I heard it a voice in my head. 'Lolita you have done wrong. But the fact that your soul was still pure and you still prayed for the fallen that you thought guilty you will be forgiven. I will clear your sins but you will not be completely pure for you have gone against me.'

I was holding my breath as our Alpha spoke. 'I have no way of expressing my gratitude for your forgiveness. But I pledge my life to you and I will do what is in my power to serve you.' I tell our Alpha.

'I will need you to help restore the balance between good and evil. Help take down Jager.' He said.

'Yes my Alpha I am at your service.' I tell him and then get up to seek out Jager.

I Head for him and manage to hit his side with my head sending him flying through the air and hitting a tree. Then when he regains himself he sneers at me.

"Ah I see they got to you already. Seems a shame I had to kill your father for you and still can't keep you. Pity, I give you one last chance to reconsider before I destroy you." He sneers at me.

"Never I will never willingly follow you. Have you seen the monster you have become." I tell him still hoping he repents.

He lunges at me and I nip at his head. I see Samuel go for his left side while he is busy biting me. Then he spreads his wings and flies off. He does an aerial move that brings him flying down and taking Samuel and myself down in the process.

We knew what he would do the second time around and we both latched on to one of his wings. We pulled hard trying to draw blood and hope fully keep him grounded. After several aerial attacks his wings disappeared.

"No you can't do this to me!!' Jager cried out

Samuel and I took advantage and we both lunged at Jager sending him flying through the air. He landed with a big thud. But we where ready to continue the fight now that he is grounded. It took over an hour before he was to tired to fight.

Then we all heard the booming voice as the clouds dissipate and the sky turned a bright blue again.

"Jager, you have been accused of trying to take power into your hands and using it for evil. You have also murdered and used the souls to form your army. For that you will be vanished to middle earth where you can reign over you Kingdome there." Said our Alpha.

We then saw the earth split open and fire sprang from the ground. There was a distinct smell off sot and sulfur.

"You will be imprisoned her for eternity. And will now be known as THE DARK ONE." Then a force pushed him in.

I fell to the ground exhausted and trembling from fear. What will my fate be. For I to had done so much wrong.

I then look up when I see a bright light to my right. Then I see Samuel sprout wings. "Samuel you have now been chosen to head up our protection division. You will train the chosen few for battle. I pray we never have to use it again."

"You Lolita have proven yourself worthy of forgiveness today. I feel power surging through me as a light covers me. I then look and my fur is white again."

Oh thank you Sir You will not regret this." I tell our Alpha.

"As I said before you are not 100% pure. But only our kind will know this. It will be you and Samuel who will now create a shield that will keep The Dark One lock in middle earth. This site now will be a sacred site. It will be protected by all our fallen brothers and sisters tonight. For they will be reborn in human form and there wolfs will be dormant until the age of 18."

The Alpha says.

"Then for generations to come they will always be the protectors to the portal to middle earth. In time when I am sure all is well, I will remove the white wolfs from this earth and they will live in peace."

We all answered back "Yes Alpha."

We started to see all our fallen rise again in human form. Then we also noticed that little huts where forming all around us. The alpha was constructing a tinny paradise to cover up all the death that was seen on this battle ground.

I turned to Samuel "Are you ready?" He nodded yes and we joined paws and started the incantation to produce the shield.

I continued to serve our Alpha in any way he required me to. I was a perfect worker. But I would still see the looks I received for I still had that black spot. When I was approached to help save the earth again. I said yes even if it meant I would suffer in human form. But the reword was to great for I had earned my mate. After century's I will finally have a mate of my own.

I look down at Ricky sleeping and can't help but go lay down by him.

'Devin are you there.' I call out for my mate who is Ricky's wolf.

'Yes love I am here just contemplating this fight that is before us. I will not survive if The Dark One tries to take you from me.' He tells me all sad.

'I know my love. All will be alright, we will once again prevail.' I try to reassure him.

2 hours later the 10 of us chosen ones meet up to strategize.
