Letter: Sarah McGuire explains CLB

Dear Mr. Blathe:

Your description of the so-called Huh language is intriguing. I have heard reference to a language with similar traits before, but I am not aware of anyone obtaining extant examples. That you and Mr. McNutt appear to have done so is no mean feat.

Members of the anthroesotery community have conducted extensive research into the theoretical underpinnings of the language. What Mr. McNutt has termed "Huh" we have termed Command Language B (henceforth written as CLB). I will go into the nomenclature at some future time. The language itself has been known among researchers for at least the last half century. Most schools of thought hold that CLB is not contingent on cultur the way most natural languages are. instead, it is an expression of the interactions among disparate physical domains expressed through human vocal articulations, much as sigalia are the expressions of said domains through human visual aesthetic expression. I hold to this model and see it as a valuable guide to understanding the power of CLB (not to mention sigalia).

While we do not know for certain, the evidence points to CLB being discovered sometime in the late eighteenth century. The ascent of a certain Vlan Goem from pauper to prince of Lindstadt, which was a bloody affair, along with other pieces of evidence points to him as either said discoverer or at least the first known person to exploit it. As to when the CRA began its use of CLB or if the use of CLB brought about the creation of the CRA, that is a controversy that will probably continue into the foreseeable future.

The history of the CRA and CLB is complex and obscured by history and the actions of interested parties. Perhaps your work with Mr. McNutt will shed even more light on this exciting area of study.

I have a serious request. Would you be willing to copy and send samples of CLB to me? I know this is a hefty request due to the nature of the language. I am aware of its potential effects on your psyche. I make this request with a full understanding of its import.

Thank you,

Sarah McGuire
