My name is Nigel Bentley. Mr. McNutt has retained my services in his research into the J. Durham murders. It's likely that I'll be contacting you on occasion regarding the investigation.

It's normally against my better judgment that my client continues to correspond with you as part of his research. It's too dangerous for all involved, but I'm a realist, so I won't keep fighting what looks like a lost battle. If you're a part of this, so be it, but I want you to know where I'm coming from. This sort of investigation is not the for amateur. Frankly, that's how I see you at best. Mr. McNutt's also an amateur, but he has the good sense to call on a professional in his work. Don't take this as an insult. I'm experienced dealing with the likes of the Royal Asses, and I've come close to biting the bullet more often than I care to think about. Please take my words as an honest warning.

With that out of the way, we can get down to business. Mr. McNutt has explained to me that you have contacts in the arcanaphile grey markets. Please verify if this is true. We're at a stage now that forces us to make use of all the resources we have.
