But like dude! He was the (adorakable) villain in season 1! Then he was even in the intro season 3!!!
HOW CAN HE NOT BE A MAIN CHARACTER?!?!?!

You were sitting at the dinner table with your best friend, Varian, and his dad, Quirin.
Quirin had invited you over for dinner.

Varian poked at his food, looking kinda sad. Quirin noticed, "Son, is everything alright?"

Varian froze, "I, uh... Kinda, I guess. Lately I've, uh, I've been thinking about Mom." That's when Quirin almost choked on his food, "Excuse me?" "Mom. She... I don't remember her. I remember I was 5 when she, uh, did she disappear?" Varian asks.

Quirin sighed, "Well, uh, your mom. She went on a trip with her best friend. They were going on an adventure to find something, I don't exactly remember what it was. After about 4 years, so when you were about 9, her friend came to our house saying that your mom didn't- she didn't make it during her adventure." Varian's eyes started to water as Quirin looked down.

You sat there before breaking out laughing. Both guys looked at you in confusion and a little bit of anger.

After a lot of laughter, you slowly calm down. "Aww. That's great!" You say in between laughs, "You really believed Donella! Oh that's sweet!" You wipe an imaginary tear away.

Quirin froze, "Y-You know Donella."

"Yeah." I fully calm down. "How?!" Quirin stands up. "I dated her 'son'." I say, "He was a total dork. Varian reminds me so much of him."

"But also I can see full Ulla in Varian." I add "You know my wife too?!" Quirin yells at you. "I, uh... Yeah." You flinch.

"You said something about believing Donella." Quirin calms down. "Yeah. That was a stupid move." You cross my arms. Quirin glares at you. "Sorry." You fake cough, before continuing.

"Donella is a liar." You start, "She is a thief. She wanted to steal all the totems for who knows why. Donella and Ulla did in fact find the Eternal Library. The two ended up in a huge fight. Donella trapped Ulla in the library. I think Ulla became possesed. This was over 6 years ago and I was 9 when this happened so I don't really remember all the details."

Quirin and Varian were in shock. "YOU KNEW THIS AND NEVER TOLD US!!!" Quirin screamed. "Dad. Calm down." Varian said. "I'm sorry. I didn't know you wanted to know." You apologize. Quirin takes a deep breath.

"I, uh, Y/n?" Varian starts, "D-Do you know, well, remember where the Eternal Library is? Maybe we can get Mom back."
"M-Maybe." You say nervously.

If you guys could save her, would Varian and Quirin leave you if Ulla refuses to leave? They would want to stay with her. They'd be a family once more.

"Okay!" Varian smiles, "If you do remember, we can go and try to get Mom back! Let's get packing!" Varian ran off to his bedroom to pack.

Quirin smiled at you, "Thank you. And if we're going, we better get some sleep. See you in the morning."
And with that, you left their house.

The Next Day!

You entered Varian's house, nervously. You had packed lots of stuff.

Varian came skipping down the steps from the second floor of the house with a backpack on.
"Well someone's excited." You giggle at Varian's cuteness. "Yep! And I have my adventure outfit on!" Varian stands with one fist on his hip and the other hand holding a staff.

"Oh! Do you like my new staff?" Varian waves his staff in your face. "Yes. Its nice Varian." You push it out of your face, "Now where's your father? We need to go." "I'm here!" Quirin says coming down the steps. "Cool. Let's go."

After a while of walking and Varian skipping as he talked about how excited be was, the 3 of you came upon your first kingdom.

"Oooooooo!" Varian said, looking at his surroundings.

"You guys get supplies while I get... something." You command. "Wouldn't it be best if we stuck together?" Quirin asks. "Yes. That's why the two of you will stay together." You say. "You know what I meant." Quirin softly glares. "Fine. We'll all stay together. But I still have to go get that... something..." You give in.

A little while later, with Varian skipping around like a little kid in Uncle Monty's Sweet Shoppe, it was time to go get your... something...

"Soooooooooo?" Varian started, "Where are we going?" Varian asked as you led the two to the castle. "To get that... something..." You say.

You arrived in front of the castle doors, which were guarded by two guards. "Who are you and what do you want?" A guard asked. "I'm an old friend of Nuru's." You state. The two guards looked at each other before letting you and the guys in.

"Wooooooooah!" Varian smiles with stars in his eyes.

The two followed you to a room.

You knocked on the door, "Hey, Nuru." You said. "Uh, who is it?" A girly voice said. "Oh, open the damn door up." You said.
Varian and Quirin flinched, you never said anything like that.

The door immediately flew open, "Y/N!" A girl screamed. "NURU!" You screamed back. The two of you hugged as Varian and Quirin stood still confused.

"Oh, what are you doing here?!" The girl, who was probably Nuru, asked while breaking the hug. "Well, Varian and Quirin here," You nodded to the two behind you, "are going on an adventure with me. I was wondering if you would like to join us and we could get the team back together!" "OMG! That would be awesome!" Nuru exclaimed.

"Wait, are the two boys here?!" Nuru got excited before smirking, "Even maybe Hugo?" "Shut up!" You roll your eyes, "What happened between us is over. Its been over!" "Um-hum. Sure. Whatever helps you sleep at night." Nuru crossed her arms. "You're lucky I missed you." You glare at her. She laughs a little.

She turned to Varian and Quirin, "Varian and Quirin, right?" She asked, the two nodded, "Cool. Why are you guys on an adventure?" Before either of them could say anything, you spoke, "Varian is Ulla's son and Quirin's her husband!" "No. Way!" Nuru's jaw drops. "Yes way! Now are you in or not?" You ask. "Totally!" She exclaims.

After Lots Of Traveling And Nuru Getting To Know Varian And Quirin Better And After Getting Yong And Explaining It All To Him And Him Worshipping Varian Since Varian Is Awesome, It Was Finally Time To Get The Biggest Flirt Of All Time: Hugo (Wow, That's A Long Title For A Time Skip)

As you walked ahead of everyone else, while looking at the map, Nuru came up to you, "You've been acting weird since its been time to get Hugo. What's wrong?"

"I, uh, its nothing." You look away. Nuru put a hand on your shoulder. "Fine." You start, "I have a huge crush on Varian. Although Hugo could make me instantly fall for him. I want to date Varian, but Hugo could make my feelings change. I-I don't know what to do." "Oh! I knew it! You love Varian!" Nuru yells. "Shut up! He could hear you." You shush her. "Alright, alright. I won't tell him." Nuru gives in. "Thank you." You look back to your map.

After a while of walking, you finally came upon a cave.

"What are we doing here?" Varian asks. "Getting the last member of our group." You explain, not taking your eyes off the cave.
"Oh! You mean Hu-" You cut off Yong. "We know his name, Yong." "Sorry." He apologizes." "N-No. Its fine." You say.

"Now lets go get that annoying idiot." You state. "I thought he was something different than that to you. I thought he was your bo-" You cut Yong off again. "We know what he was to me." You awkwardly smile as your eye twitches.

You enter the cave first, the group following behind, a little scared of the creepy cave.

A shadow walked out as you went further into the cave, and the crew stayed close to the entrance where they could still see.

"Well, well, well." The shadow said. "Stop being a creep." You rolled your eyes. "Wow. Over 6 years and you can't ever say a simple 'Hi'?" The shadow smirks. "Neither can you, all you say is 'Well, well, well'." You make fun of the shadow.

"Heh. Still sassy as ever." Hugo steps out of the shadows, "How I missed it." You rolled your eyes.

"Hey Babe." Hugo brushes a strand of hair behind your ear. "Don't call me that." You slap his hand away. "I missed you so much." Hugo says. "Shut it, Dork." You glare. "And I missed that nickname." He smiles, wrapping an arm around you waist while the other cups your cheek.

You stare at his gorgeous eyes as he stares back. You both slowly lean in for a kiss

"Excuse me!" A voice says from behind as the voice clears their throat.
You and Hugo turn to see Varian with his hands on his hips.

"And who might you be?" Hugo asks. "That's my best friend. Varian." You smile at your bestie. "'Best friend'? Am I being replaced?!" Hugo asks dramatically. "What?" You ask. "Being your boyfriend comes with the gift of being your best friend." Hugo explains. "Shut up." You glare, "We're over. We were for a while." "Why's that Baby Girl?" Hugo strokes your hair. "We went our separate ways and grew apart. I ended up in Corona, then the King and Queen adopted me and then I became best friends with Varian." You explain. "Wow, you were lucky. Donella landed herself in jail and said that she'll kill me once she's out since I blamed her for stealing something multiple times. Nobody believes her when she says that I did it. I mean, do you think this innocent face is capable of stealing?" Hugo asks.

That's when Nuru broke out laughing. She walked over to Hugo and rested her arm on his shoulder. He just glared at the air for a little while before Nuru spoke. "You? Innocent? You're not even close to being innocent!" She laughed. "Nice to see you too, Nuru." Hugo said through gritted teeth. "Yeah! Sure!" She laughed.

Yong ran up to the 3 of you. "Did you miss me too?!" Yong asks. "Uh, sure." Hugo ruffles Yong's hair. Yong giggles. Yong looked up to Hugo before Hugo was a backstabbing jerk.

"Hate to break up this heartwarming reunion but I think its best we get going. Nice to meet you Hugo!" Varian says walking away. You ran up to Varian and grabbed his wrist, "Hugo's coming with us. You realize that, right?" Varian frowned.

"Ugh! Why?!" Varian complains. "Because we need his help!" You say. "Fine. But the second he annoys you, let me know. I'll kick him out of the group." Varian gives in. "He annoys me very easily but I'll let you know when its a serious problem." You agree.

"Its understandable that you don't trust me." Hugo pops up out of nowhere. Varian screamed and fell backwards. "Woah, easy there Goggles." Hugo puts his hands up. You help Varian up as you ask, "What do you mean its 'Understandable'?"

"Obviously Goggles, here, sees me as a threat to yours and his relationship." Hugo explains. "'Relationship'? No. Me and Varian are only friends. Best friends. And you're not a threat. You're a dork who thinks you're better than everyone else." You put your fist on your hips. "Sure, Baby Girl." Hugo says, pulling you close to him. You shove him away, pulling out your map and leading everyone out of the cave.

MORE WALKING!!! YAY!!!

After awhile, it was getting late. You had found a clearing.

"There will be a tent for Me and Nuru. Yong and Hugo. Then to make sure Varian doesn't rip Hugo to shreds, Varian and Quirin can share the last tent." You plan out.

Everybody grabs their tent and starts setting it out.
Hugo walked over to you, "Darling? Can I sleep with you?" Hugo asks. "No." You answer plainly. "Pleeeeeease!" He whined. "Ugh! No!" You yell. "Fine. But meet me out by that tree after everyone is asleep." Hugo points to a tree near the campsite before placing a small kiss to your forehead before walking away.

Nuru walks up next to you, "And you say you don't love him." She shrugs and walks away.

After Everyone's Asleep

You snuck out of your tent to the tree Hugo told you to meet at.

"Wow. Never expected you to show up." Hugo says, stepping out of the shadows. "And wow. Creeping in the shadows. Not weird at all." You roll your eyes.

"Damn I missed that sarcasm." Hugo wrapped an arm around your waist, "I missed all of you." "You're acting like we did... that. We didn't, I was 10 and you were 13." You say, running your hand along his arm, feeling his muscles. "I mean, I wish we did." Hugo says.

"Donella always said you weren't good enough for me so that's why I never kissed you." Hugo explains. "Dude." You laugh a little. "But you're way too amazing for me." Hugo adds. "That's really chessey... but sweet." You peck Hugo's cheek.

"Can I have that kiss from earlier? That Goggles was stupid and stopped my kiss." Hugo glared, imagining Varian that he was glaring at. "I'd love that." You smile.

You grabbed Hugo by the collar of his shirt and smashed your lips into his.
The two of you started a very heated make out session.

You had jumped onto Hugo, wrapping you legs around his waist. He held your butt as he pinned you to a tree. He squeezed your butt a little, making you moan. Hugo's lips moved down your neck. You moaned quietly.
"Wow. Who knew I could easily get you moaning?" Hugo asked. "More kissy, less talky." You said, tilting your head back, letting Hugo get more of your neck.

Suddenly there was a twig snap.
You and Hugo stopped kissing and turned to see Varian.

"Varian!" Your eyes widened. "Goggles, go away." Hugo glared at Varian.

"What are you guys doing?" Varian asks, ignoring Hugo's remark. "V-Varian, it-it isn't what it looks like." You panic. "Explain what you're doing then." Varian demands. "We're uh...-" Hugo cuts off you thought, as if you even knew what to say. "I'm kissing Y/n and I was about to ask her out. I know she loves me, so obviously she'd say yes. Like I said when we were younger, I was gonna marry her, which from what we're doing now and that she isn't fighting me off, I think that when I do propose, she'll say yes to marrying me." Hugo explains.

You stare at Hugo wide eyed, "What?" "Yeah, would you like to go out with me?" Hugo ask.

Tears well up in Varian's eyes. He loved you. He wanted to kiss you like that. He wanted to date you. Heck, he wanted to marry you and have kids with you.
Varian ran off crying.

You jumped out of Hugo's arms and raced after Varian.

You found Varian at a river.

He watched his reflection in the river then the reflection showed you behind him.
Varian quickly wiped his tears away before turning to you. You sat down next to him.

"Varian." You say softly, "What was that?" Varian hugs his knees, "I-... Hugo is so cool. Of course you'd say yes to going out with him. I'm just me. If I asked you out, like I wanted to, you'd easily say no." "Varian." You smiled, putting a hand on Varian's shoulder, drawing his attention, "You are my amazing alchemist! If you asked me out, I'd say YES! I love you, Varian. Hugo's a big flirt and I dated him, he can make me easily fall for him. But you, the second I met you I was in love." You smile.
