Varian's POV

Lance had asked if I could make some sort of portal to a whole new realm.
And me liking a good alchemy and engineering challenge, excepted the assignment.

After 5 days of hard working on this, I had created a door with a key. I clicked the button on the key and the door opened. I, of course, had to test it before showing Lance. And I had to make sure it wasn't a portal to the Lost Realm.

Woof, don't wanna be in that train wreak again. Although when I am alone, I miss that snake...

I stepped through the door and closed it behind me. I turned away from the door to find myself in a weird demon like world.

Suddenly, a man in gold armor ran passed me. I turned to see what he was running to and I saw a girl hanging upside on a flying... Broom?!

The girl looked about my age. And what she was weari-

'You are a respectful guy.' I said to myself. 'I just need to remind myself that I respect people's privacy.
But, wow, I want a piec-'

'STOP VARIAN!!! STOP!!!'

I need to walk away and explore this world.
I start walking before realizing that my feet are taking me over to the guy in the gold armor and that girl.

"Beat ya." She smirked hanging upside down on her broom, holding on by her legs.

"No fair!" The guy and the golden armor exclaimed, "Uncle took away my staff. You still have yours!"

"Because I'm his favorite!" She laughs flipping herself back onto the flying broom.

"Well, I just failed my last assignment. Its not my fault. That dumb human." He crosses his arms.

"Awww! Is da widdle Goldy Gard gwumpy." She teases.

"Shut up, Y/n!" The guy complains to... Y/n.

"Admit it. I am the best sister of all time and you love me and you want to hear my voice because I am literally one of the only witches in the Boiling Isles who can make you laugh!" She giggles with a smile.

Good, she's his sister. I thought they were dating. Maybe I have a chance! Wait, did she say witch?!

"I did!" She flies over to me.

Did I say that out loud?!

"You did. And he's just my brother, don't worry." She hopped off her broom and walked close to me. "You're cute." She smirked walking her fingers up my chest before playing with the collar of my shirt.

"Will you STOP playing with every boy you see?!" The guy asks. "Oh, another human." He glares at me.

"Hey, Luz and Amity made it work. Then again Amity blushes like an idiot around me. So does Em. I guess being gay runs in the family." She rests her hand on my chest as she turns to her brother. "And I'm not playing with him... Yet." She smirked as she turned back to me.

"I, uh, I'm not ready for that." I blush and remove her hand from my chest.

She sighed and turned back to her brother, "I guess we should head back. Uncle said he needs help with something." She quickly turned back to me, "Oh! I forgot to tell you. I'm Y/n and this is the Golden Guard."

Phft! What type of name is that?

"You said that out loud again. But you're right. That is a pretty dumb name. Golden Guard." She laughs as the Golden Guard becomes upset.

"Bellos gave me that name! And its a title, not a name." He exclaimed.

"That makes it even more funny." She giggles as she hops back onto her broom. The Golden Guard just scoffs and crosses his arms and turns away.

"Hey, you need some place to stay for the n-" She got cut off.

"No! We are not bringing him home!" The Golden Guard angrily exclaims.

"No you idiot! I was going to say that he should stay at the Owl House. Duh!" She rolls her eyes, "Eda shouldn't mind. Although she hates us, mainly you, so she might say no. Luz is caring though! She might be able to talk Eda into saying yes! Now come on let's go!" She exclaims happily. The Golden Guard hops onto the broom behind her. "You coming? I mean, the only reason why we're going is because of you." She smiles at me.

I took a step forward before she pulled me onto the broom, right in front of her.

She wrapped her arms around me to hold the front of the broom, "Hold on." She whispers in my ear.
God, is she hot.

I quickly clug to the broom as we shot up into the sky. "Woo! Hoo!!!" She exclaimed as we flew up.
She is so cute too.

The flying steadied as we flew.
I looked down to see everything. "You like the view?" She asked. I smiled and nodded.

"How about we get a closer look?" She flew down, directly into the town.

"Hey Ed! Hey Em!" She notices two of her friends walking the streets.
"Hey, n/n!" The boy yells. "H-Hey-" The girl studders and blushes.

Soon she's taking us directly up into the sky. "Y/N!!!!" The Golden Guard screamed at his sister. She starts to fly straight once we're high enough into the sky, away from the market.
"Yes?" She smiles innocently at her brother.
"You are so irresponsi- Tree!" He yells pointing a head of us. She quickly turns around and wips around the tree. "I got it bro!" She smiles, before whispering into my ear, "Are you okay? You're gripping the broom oddly tight? Is it flying sickness?" I shake my head no and whisper back, "I'm just scared."
She pecks my cheek, "It'll be okay. I'm an excellent flier." I easily blush.

"Can you two stop making out?! We're here! Just land the damn broom!" The Golden Guard angrily says. Y/n smiles and softly lands.

She lets the Golden Guard jump off, then lets me jump off. She hops off and the staff flies into her hand.

"Y/N!!!" A weird bird worm tube thing comes out of the house. She laughs, "Hi Hooty." Hooty looks over at the Golden Guard. "Ugh! You!" The weird bird worm tube thing yells.

"Hooty, do you mind getting Eda and Luz?" Y/n asks. "Not at all! Hoot! Hoot!" The weird bird worm tube thing goes back to the house.

Soon out comes another human (which seems rare here), an old looking female in a red dress, and a dog with horns.

"Y/n!" The human and dog with horns runs to Y/n. The human pulls her into a hug then lets her go.

"Hey Luz." Y/n giggles, "And you too, King." Y/n pats the dog with horns on the head, who makes a happy squeak noise.

This lady in the red dress looks over at me. "Who's the newbie?" She asks.

"I'm-" The other human cut me off by screaming: "I'm Luz!" Then she started introducing everyone. First she ran over the dog with horns, "This is King!" She said with a smile before going over to the lady in a red dress, "This is Eda!" Then the weird owl worm tube thing pops out into my face and yells, "I'M HOOTY!!"
"And that's Hooty." Luz laughs, pushing Hooty away.

"I'm V-Varian." I nervously laugh and scratch the back of my neck.

"So, what's this kid's deal?" Eda asks, waving her hand to me.

Y/n walks up behind me and puts her hands on my shoulders, "Well, Varian here, is from the same wirld Luz is. He needs a place to stay for the night. We thought he could stay with you. It'll just be for one night till we gind a place for him to stay."

"Of course!" Luz exclaims. "I don't know. You and King are a little bit of a handful. And we don't have much to feed another mouth." Eda frowns.

King ran up to me. He sniffed my leg, before hugging it. "Eda. Please!" King begs.

"Alright. Just one night." Eda gives in.

"YAY! SLEEPOVER!!!" Y/n and Luz yell.

"No, no, no, no. Absolutely not! Y/n, you can't stay. You said it yourself, you're Uncle's favorite! He'll worry about you!" The Golden Guard exclaims.

"Hm. If you really want me to hang out with you that bad, maybe I'll go home." Y/n teases.
She turned to me, "Bye, Cutie." She gently pecked my cheek then left with her brother.

Y/N'S POV

I kissed Varian's cheek! Does he moisturize? Whatever though.

"Sooooo. What do you wanna do?" I ask Hunter (the Golden Guard).
"To get home!" He yells at me.

"Why? Its like 5:30 in the afternoon! Let's do something fun!" I exclaim.

"No." He grumbles and does his angry walk, walking further ahead.

The Next Day
(At like 8:00am)

VARIAN'S POV

"Varian!" I hear Hooty come through the bedroom window.
"Ruddiger! Its too early." I whine.

Hooty comes in and flops onto my face. I push him off. I sit up and glare ag him before I realize its not my Ruddiger!

"Your girlfriend is heeeeeeere!" Hooty grins before leaving.

'Girlfriend?' I think to myself. I think for a moment before smiling.
"Y/N!" I scream.

I quickly get ready and run to the door.
I fix my hair quick and open the door.

I see Y/n playing with Hooty and the Golden Guard standing there, looking very grumpy. He wasn't in uniform. He looked like a normal teenager... Who is wearing pajamas. Why is he still in his pjs?

"Good. Your here." The Golden Guard growls.
"Good! Your here!" Y/n grins widely.

Y/n stops playing with Hooty and run to me. She pulls me into a huge hug.

Once she lets go, she lightly smiles before looking determined. "Now. How do we get you home?" She puts her fist on her hips

Gosh, she's beautiful. I smile. "Well, I still know how I got here."

"Great!" The Golden Guard says with sarcasm, "Let's go!" He started walking in the opposite direction.

"I-Its this way." I point to the correct way to go.

"I-I KNEW THAT!" The Golden Guard flushes in embarrassment and stomps off to the way I pointed.

Y/n rolls her eyes and follows; Me following behind.

As I walk ahead, leading the other two.

Y/n ran up next to me and started talking, "Listen. I'm sorry about the kiss on the cheek. I should've asked first."
This is the first time I've seen her...

Vulnerable.

She seems kinda innocent. Not her bold crazy self.

"I-Its fine." My voice cracks.

About 11 Minutes Later

Me and Y/n giggled at my story of how stupid one of my previous inventions failed, as the Golden Guard mumbled behind us at how long of a walk is.

Soon enough we arrive at the door.

I pull out the key and open the portal door.

I turn towards Y/n. "I guess this is it." I look away, taking a step forward.
"Yeah, I guess so." Y/n takes my hands in hers.

I look back up at her. She smiles, then quickly kisses me on the lips.
"Thanks for talking your thoughts out loud. I wouldn't have met you otherwise." She hugged me before whispering into my ear, "You are the most wonderous being, I have ever met. I love you, Varian."

I stood there for a moment. She loves me.

"Yeah, that's what I just said." She nervously chuckled, while rubbing her arm.

"W-Well, I-I love you too." I awkwardly grinned.

"Just get through the portal already!" The Golden Guard yelled.

Y/n chuckled as I opened the door.

I took one step through the portal and looked back at Y/n and the Golden Guard.

"Come visit. 'K?" She spoke softly.

"Absolutely." I agreed.
