Varian picked you up and stood up, spinning you around. He set you down. "I'm gonna be a father!" He exclaimed, "A father! Can you believe that?! The father of your baby!" You giggled, "But you got to keep it down. You know the King hates the idea of us just sleeping together, how mad do you think he'll be if he finds out that you got me pregnant." "You're right. Like always, but he doesn't know we sleep together. And also, why were you crying about being pregnant?" Varian asked. "Ever since you first lifted up my skirt and rested your hand on my thigh, I knew I wanted to have a baby with you, but, I, uh, I thought you wouldn't like that idea, so if you said you didn't want that... I would be heart broken." You looked down. "Please don't assume something that stupid. I would love to have a baby with you. And truth be told, when I first laid eyes on you, I knew it was meant to be, I actually couldn't wait to make love with you." Varian smiled, causing you to blush at his words. "Heh." You smiled.

"I love you my knight in shining armor."

"I love you too Milady."

Its almost bed time and its passed dinner. You and Varian decided to keep the baby thing a secret, so you didn't tell the King at dinner. You actually ate a little more then you usually do since you're feeding for two now, the King thought it was a little suspicious.

You were in a white tank top with pajama shorts as you got in bed. There was a knock on your balcony doors. "Ugh, what is it now Ruddiger." You mumbled under your breath. You got up and opened your balcony doors to not see a Ruddiger but to see a Varian. Your Varian.

"Yes, Babe?" You yawned you were really tired. "I need to sleep with you. I need to protect the girl I love and our baby." Varian demanded you let him in. "Alright." You let him in. Varian walked in and sat on your bed, ready to get under the covers. You closed the balcony doors then walked over to your bed.

You slipped under the covers. Varian pulled the covers off of you. "Babbbbeee. I'm tired. Just give me the blankets and let me sleep." You whined. "There's one thing I have to do first." Varian lifted up your shirt a little and kissed your belly, "Good night little one." Then he pulled your shirt back down and tucked you back into bed. He placed a kiss on your forehead, "And good night Milady." He laid down under the covers and you snuggled into him.

The next morning...

"Princess (Y/n) its time to get up." The maid, Peper, knocked on your bedroom door.

Your eyes widened realizing Varian was still in bed with you. You panicked, Varian was still asleep. Then you felt something on your stomach. You took off the covers to see Varian's hand up your shirt, resting his hand on your belly. You caught yourself holding your breath. There was a knock on your door again, "Your Highness?" You quickly just pecked Varian's lips, waking him up. "Babe, what tim--" You slapped you hand over Varian's mouth. "Uh, your Highness? Are you alright in there." Pepper asked through the door. "Uh, yeah. Just getting ready for the morning." You lied. "Okay, remember breakfast is in 45 minutes." She said. "Thank you." You responded. "Yes, your Majesty." You heard Pepper walk away.

You sighed in relief. Varian licked your hand that was still over his mouth. You quickly pulled away, "Ew, Varian, seriously?" You whipped your hand on Varian arm. "Don't wipe it on me." Varian pulled away. "Its you saliva." You said. "Touché." Varian smirked.

"Now, go back to your room before we get caught." You shoved Varian to the balcony doors. "Alright, alright. But I need to say by to someone first." Varian said. You smiled knowing what he was talking about. He lifted up your shirt again, "I gotta go, but just so you know, I'll always love you." Varian placed a kiss on your belly before lowering your shirt back down. The entire time he talked to the baby, you ran your hands through Varian's hair.

"I love you, Babe." Varian kissed you. "I love you too." You wrapped your arms around his neck and he wrapped his arms around your waist. You buried your face in his neck, while he pulled an arm back and rested his hand on your belly. You stayed like that for a while.

Once you parted you stared into each others eyes. You snapped out of your daze. "Varian you need to go. Now." Varian snapped out if his, "You're right." He kissed your belly quickly and spoke quickly, "Daddy loves you." He kissed your cheek, "Your Sweetheart loves you." He ran off and left. You watched him leave. "He's such an amazing guy." You rubbed your belly. You felt a kick. You giggled, "I'm happy you agree."

It was one month now since you've been in the Dark Kingdom and one month now since you got pregnant. Your belly had grown a little bigger. It wasn't big it was just a small baby bump. No one really even noticed, except for Varian.

Varian gave you and your belly a kiss good night every night, and he'd pretty much sleep with you every night. Everyday Varian would get a little more excited to soon be a father, even though there's still a lot of time till the baby's born, he still gets excited. Lately he would have a conversation with the baby, even though the baby wouldn't respond, he still talked to it. You loved him so much and you loved how excited he gets about the baby.

You were at breakfast with King Edmund and Varian. "I have a new schedule for you two. You won't have time to spend with each other anymore. This will last till about to the end of your stay here before you both head to Equis." The King announced. You and Varian stared at him shocked.

'How will Varian be able to take care of me and the baby?' You thought.

'How will I be able to take care of (Y/n) and the baby?' Varian thought.

"Princess (Y/n) you will be studying the history of our kingdom while Prince Varian will practice sword fighting and how to run the kingdom. Every Wednesday you both will be in the throne room with me, hearing out the town's peoples' needs. Both of you will not talk to each other while we listen to the town's peoples' needs. There will also be guards placed outside of your rooms every night so you both get a good night's sleep. Princess, when you study, you'll be taught by Adira and sometimes Quirin. Varian, when you train, you will be coached by me." The King explained, "This schedule will be starting after breakfast. Do I make myself clear." "Yes, your Majesty." You nodded your head once. Varian was just speechless, his jaw was dropped and he had dropped his fork onto his plate. You lifted up Varian's chin to close his mouth, "He means, Yes your Majesty." Varian nods his head agreeing to what you said for him. "Great." The King stood up, "Come along Prince Varian, let's start your training. And Princess (Y/n) go back to your room. You will picked from your room to take you to the library to start your studies."

Varian stood up and started to follow King Edmund. Quickly he ran back to you and pecked your lips. He whispered something quickly into your ear, "Give the baby some love from me." "Will do." You smiled and Varian returned the smile before running off to follow the King.

You were waiting in your room when Quirin entered.

"Hello your Majesty." Quirin spoke, "Adira won't be able to help you out with your studies today, so I will be teaching you." You followed Quirin into the hall then to the library.

When you entered the library. On the back table, there was a massive stack of books on it, a lot of notebooks, and a jar of pencils. Your eyes widened. "Is that..." You said as you and Quirin approached the table. "These will used throughout the month of your studies." Quirin said. You sat down in a chair and so did Quirin.

"So we shall start with what goes on in the castle." Quirin grabbed a few books. "I actually have a question." Quirin looked at you. "What might that be, your Highness?" Quirin asked. "Well, if we're going to be learning about the castle, and your the top guard here, doesn't that mean you'll be in this lesson... Because I kinda want to learn more about you and your family. If that's okay? I mean its probably not anything I will end up studying in the end. But still, I would like to get to know you better." You smiled hoping he would talk about himself. Quirin let out a small laugh, "Well, you remind me of my wife. She was always so curious and wanted to know things about people so she would get to know people better." "She sounds like someone I'd get along with." You smiled. Quirin let out another small laugh, "Yes, you would get along with her very well. Sadly she passed away about three years before Prince Varian was born." "Oh my gosh. Sorry for bringing that up." You gasped. "Its okay and I will keep going if you'd like." You nodded not 100% sure if he would be okay with continuing, "My wife, Ulla, (a/n: in this story, Varian is NOT their son.), gave birth to a baby, we were probably a few years older then you and Prince Varian at the time, we were still pretty young, but a few months after the baby was born, the baby fell deathly ill. Ulla asked the Moonstone to heal the baby but the baby grew stronger and healthier but Ulla became weaker and weaker. The baby was feeding off of Ulla's health but after Ulla passed away, the baby had no strength to feed off of so eventually the baby ended up passing as well." Quirin finished the story. "You wife sounded lovely. Giving up her life for her baby, even though the baby still didn't, uh... Make it." You looked down. "Yes she was. But I can tell you'll be just as great as her with motherhood." Quirin put a hand on your shoulder. You looked up. "Thank you. I would do anything for my baby." You rubbed your belly and smiled.

Varian came running in. He ran to the table you and Quirin were at. "(Y-Y/n)" Varian said out of breath. "Babe, are you okay?" You put a hand on his shoulder. "Y-yes. J-just give me a second to catch my breath." Varian continued to pant.

After like two minutes he was better. You and Quirin just stated at him. "How about you sit down." You pulled out a chair next to you. Varian sat down. "I'll ask again... Are you okay?" You asked. "Yeah, I'm better now. The King said he'd give me a 30 minute break so I ran here as fast as possible just to hang out with you." Varian explained. You smiled and pecked his lips.

"So, shall we start studying?" Quirin asked. You nodded yes. "Its been like 45 minutes and you're starting to study now?" Varian asked. You looked at Quirin then to Varian, "Long story." "Alright." Varian put an arm around you.

After 26 minutes Varian had to leave. "I think its time for me to go." Varian stood up. "Okay." You leaned up and gave Varian a long kiss, he kissed back. Once the two of you pulled away, Varian leaned down and kissed your belly. "Daddy loves you." He told the baby. "Love you Milady." Varian placed a kiss on your forehead. "I love you too my knight in shining armor." Varian left.

The entire time, Quirin sat there uncomfortable.

"Now, shall we get with our studies." Quirin changed to subject after Varian left. "Yeah, sure." You looked back over to Quirin.

It was bedtime, because the King placed guards outside your door you have to go to bed at 8:30 PM instead of around 10:00 PM.

There was a knock on your balcony door. You walked over and let Varian in. You closed the door. Varian sat on your bed and you sat next to him.

"So, what happened today?" You smiled. Every night before bed, Varian talks to the baby about how his day was. "I don't tell my story yet." Varian smirked. You rolled your eyes. The only way he'd talk to the baby is of you had your nightgown off, well that was only when the two of you were alone. He just liked directly talking to the baby/your belly. You always let Varian strip you because he likes to do it but before you get under the covers to sleep, you put your nightgown back on.

"Better." Varian smiled after he stripped you, leaving you only in your underwear.

"So to start off, today was kinda crazy. Besides talking to you now and hanging out with your mommy." Varian started his story, "Okay, so at breakfast, the King announced that mommy and me will be starting different schedules so that means mommy and me won't be together as much as we usually are. And you'll be with mommy all the time, but I'll try to be around as much as possible. And when I'm not around do you think you'll be able to take care of mommy for me?" Varian asked, he felt the baby kick a little, "Good, but I gotta warn you, she can be a real handful." "Hey!" You pouted. "See, sometimes she can get grumpy." You glared at Varian as he continued, "Then after breakfast I went with the King to practice sword fighting. I wasn't too good at first but about two minutes before our lesson ended, I finally got the hang of it! Oh, and I got a break in between during my lesson! I came to visit you and mommy while I was on my break. I got to see what she was learning about, but it surprised me. I lived in this kingdom my whole entire life and I didn't even know half of the stuff mommy was learning! Did you know that the King before the current King, his ashes are buried somewhere in this castle?! I can't believe it! And I never knew about this?! Maybe I should ask for more breaks so I can come learn some more history about the kingdom... And hang out with you and mommy. I'm sure mommy would like that." Varian looked up at you. "I would love that. But only if you don't get in trouble doing it." You said. "Meh. I doubt I will." Varian looked down at your belly. "I love you little one." Varian kissed your belly, "And mommy loves you too." Varian smiles.

You put you nightgown back on. "Oh, come on Babe. Can't you take it off for a little longer." Varian asked. "Varian, I am too tired to do... Stuff right now."

"Why?" Varian asked.
"Varian, I'm a pregnant girl. Just let me sleep. You can stay if you want to." You yawn.
"Fine." Varian pouts.

You get under the covers and Varian tucks you in. He crawls in next to you an rolls over to face you. "Good night my sleeping beauty." Varian brushes a strand of hair behind your ear. "Good night my *YAWN* Knight in shining armor." You close you eyes and curl up closer to him. He holds you in his arms and you bury your face in his neck.

The next morning...

"Morning, Sweetheart."

You opened your eyes to see Varian on top of you and you were... Naked!

"Varian! What the hell Babe!" You pushed him off of you. "Language Milady." Varian smirked as he sat next to you on your bed. "Explain." You demanded trying to cover your body up the best you could with the blankets. "Well for starters, you can take the blanket down, we've seen each other naked before." Varian lowered the blanket that was in your hand, "And second, I only touched and licked. You are a very heavy sleeper." You rolled your eyes. "And what do you think the baby would do? Do they approve?" You crossed your arms and grabbed your clothes. "Actually, yeah. I asked and the baby kicked and when they do, I take it as a yes." Varian smirked. "Traitor." You look down at your belly. Varian giggled at you. "What?" You looked up at him. "N-nothing. Its just your really cute." Varian tried to hold back a laugh. "Shut it." You pushed Varian off the bed.

You laughed at how cute he looked.

(Remember when Varian fell on his head in Day of The Animals episode, yeah, imagine that what he looks like here because I can't seem to that find that photo of him.)

"Because if one of us is super cute, its you." You let out a small chuckle. Varian rolled his eyes and pushed himself up. "Thanks for the help up." Varian said sarcastically. "You're welcome." You smiled innocently, then pecked Varian's cheek. He became flustered. "I-I... Heh." Varian studdered. "Yeah, I agree, you need to go." You pushed Varian towards your balcony door. "Yep, bye." Varian kissed your belly then you. He left.

"Alright, so what are we gonna wear?" You asked rubbing your belly.

You went through your closet to find a nice blue simple dress... But after trying it on... You could see that you looked pregnant but it was still hardly noticeable.

"Meh. I like it and I think daddy will too but we won't get to see him often. Well only at breakfast, lunch and dinner and every once in a while, he'll sleep with us." You talk to the baby.

There was a knock on your bedroom door. You knew exactly who it was. "Hey, Babe." You opened the door. Varian looked at you, his eyes widened. He stepped into your bedroom and closed the door. He sat down on your bed.

"What's wrong?" You ask as you go over to your dresser to put on your (Y/n)ium necklace. "(Y/n)." Varian said that like he was sad and yet mad. You quickly turned around. He's never said anything in such a depressing voice before.

You walked over to him. "Sweetheart?" You sat down on his lap. "(Y/n), you look gorgeous." Varian started, "But we want to keep this baby thing a secret." Varian rubbed his hand on your belly, you nodded as he continued, "Well, the dress makes you look pregnant. I don't want anyone asking questions about it." "Oh, okay." You looked down kinda sad.

"Babe?" Varian asked, "Is something wrong?" "No, no. Nothing's wrong." You walked over to your full length mirror and look at yourself, "I just really like this dress. Its simple. But your right. It makes me look like I'm pregnant and the last thing we need is people figuring that out." You rubbed your belly as you continued to stare into the mirror, this time moving your attention to the baby.

Varian came up behind you and wrapped his arms around you and carefully rubbed your belly. He rested his head on your shoulder. "Well, if it makes you happy... Wear it. Also we have like 5 minutes till breakfast and its a 5.7 minute walk there. So there wouldn't be enough time for you to change." "You're right. Let's go." You turned to face Varian and patted his chest.

You and Varian almost ran down the halls, sliding into things and maids. You and Varian stopped in front of the dining room doors. The both of you took your time to catch your breaths.

You both entered the dining room, you holding onto Varian's arm as you walked. You and Varian were both nervous on how the King would react at how you look.

As you both sat down at the table, the King squinted his eyes and stared at you. You and Varian noticed the stare. You looked up at Varian. 'Its okay' Varian mouthed. You gave him a smile. You both leaned in for a kiss but the King cleared his throat stopping you and Varian from ending up kissing. You and Varian pulled away and blushed.

Breakfast was just eating, King Edmund staring you down and small conversations here and there.

You went to your room and waited for Adira. She never came, but Quirin did.

You and Quirin were studying in the library when Varian came running in.
"Babe?" You looked at him. He sat down next to you. "What? I asked for a small break. I apparently know absolutely nothing about this kingdom. So that's why I'm here. To learn a little." Varian explained. "Just a few minutes couldn't hurt." Quirin said as he continued his lesson.

"That's how the Dark Kingdom got its name." Quirin finished the lesson. "Ohhhhhh," Realization hit you, "so that's why its called the Dark Kingdom. I mean with a backstory like that, the Dark part makes sense." "I always thought it was because that the sun doesn't come out." Varian shrugged.

"Oh, wait, Babe. You need to go!" You said. Varian's eyes widened, "Yep. You're right. Love you!" Varian kissed your head then left.

"Princess, our lesson is over. You may go for the day." Quirin said. "Thank you, Quirin." You smiled as you stood up, gathering your things, about to leave. "And Princess," Quirin said making you stop and look to face him, "Stay hydrated and make sure your eating enough. Remember you are now feeding and drinking for two." Quirin pointed to your pregnant belly. You smiled and nodded before walking off with your homework in your arms.

You had been studying and working on homework all day and now you getting tired. You realized it was almost 8:00 pm. You still had 86 pages left to go then you were finished.

You started to fall asleep when

*KNOCK KNOCK*

Someone knocked on your balcony door. You immediately shot up.

It was Varian. You walked over to talk to him.

"Hey, Sweetheart." Varian said. "Sorry to say but go away." You tried to close the doors but Varian wouldn't let you. He stepped into your bedroom.

"'Go away'?! Babe, did I do something wrong? Why should I go away? What did I do?" Varian was confused and scared at the same time. "I just *YAWN* I just have a lot of homework to do and I don't need a cute ass, excuse my language, distracting me." You went back over to your desk. "'Cute ass'?" Varian repeated with a smirk. He walked over to you. "Shut it." You turn to face him then turn back to your work.

"Now go away. I don't need any distractions." You shoo Varian away. "You'll barely know that I'm here." Varian sat on your desk right in front of you. You slowly look up at him. "Yes?" Varian asks once your eyes meet his. "Varian. No distractions." You whined. "Oh, yeah, sorry." Varian realized what he's doing before hopping off your desk. "Now go." You point to the door. "But Babe-" Varian started but you cut him off. "Now." You demanded. "Fine." Varian pouted.

He walked towards the door as you turned you attention back to your work. Varian stopped and smirked. He quickly ran back you and scooped you up into his arms, bridal style. "Put me down." You started to kick in his arms.

Varian carried you to your balcony then to his. He took you inside his bedroom and laid you down on his bed. He quickly locked his balcony doors and his bedroom door before you could do anything.

"Varian! That stuff is due tomorrow! And first thing in the morning is breakfast then immediately after that is my studies!" You explained, "I need to get that all down now!" "Too bad." Varian shrugged.

Varian went to his closet and pulled out one of his shirts. "You're staying here for the night. Put this on and go change in my bathroom." Varian tossed you his shirt.

You rolled your eyes and went to the bathroom with the shirt. His shirt was a bit bigger on you. It was extremely comfortable. You liked wearing it.

You came back out of the bathroom. "Wow, you look cute in my shirt." Varian smirked while leaning on his bed. He was shirtless. You smiled and rolled your eyes. "Come on. Let's just go to bed." You headed for Varian's bed. Varian didn't moved. "And hot." Varian said making you stop in your tracks. "What?" You turned around to face him. "You look cute and hot in my shirt." Varian said in a deep tone and walked up to you. "Are you hitting on me?" You smirked. "Would there be a problem with that?" Varian said in a deep tone. "Gosh you're so sexy when you talk like that."

You said. "Good." Varian brushed a strand of hair behind your ear. "Shall we... Get in bed?" You walked your fingers up Varian's chest. "I'd like that." Varian led you to his bed.
You got in bed and Varian crawled on top of you.

You and Varian started making out. When you pulled away and said, "Oh so sexy." The two of you started making out again. You both sat up while still having your lips connected. Varian moaned in the kiss. You joined him in moaning. You tangled your hands in Varian's hair. Varian held you against his body. He dipped you a little still kissing you.

You pulled away for air. "Awe. The girly needs time to breathe." Varian teased while stroking your cheek with the back of his hand. "Well with you kissing me like that, of course I need time." You smirked. "Wow. Fisty." Varian smirked. "Oh, just shut up and kiss me badass." You said.
You flipped yourself up and started to make out with Varian more.
You tangled your hands in Varian's hair again. He slipped his tongue into your mouth. He explored every inch. "Mmm, Babe." You mumbled still kissing him.

You both let go of each other after kissing for a while. You stared at each other in silence. "Bed time?" You asked kinda tired. "Bed time." Varian responded.

You both climbed under the blankets and tangled your legs together. You both kissed good night. You snuggled into Varian. You buried your face into his neck. Varian held his hand on your butt.

"Varian, Honey?" You whispered.

"Yes, Milady?" Varian whispered back.

"Can we go for round two?"

"What do you mean?"

"Can we kiss again?" You pulled back and looked Varian in the eyes. He stared at you for a while before pulling you in for another kiss. You both made out all night.

Alright people! There definitely will be a part 4 and remember, I still will need to do the parts where you and Varian are in Equis.

This might take all week to finish.

Also this is the longest one shot of the 'A Secret With The Dark Prince' series.
