I was currently at my locker thinking about all the things I needed to do today and getting my books for the next class when Ben walked up to me

Hey, didn't you donate that to the museum? Ben said as he noticed my spell book in my locker

Is that still there?" I said closing my locker "Um, I got to get to class. I really don't want to be late."

No. You come this way. First off... Ta-da! Ben said reveling a purple bike

What!? I said surprised

You like it? Ben asked

Ben... does an ogre like cheese puffs? This is amazing! It's purple. I didn't get you anything. I said looking back at him.

You're taking me on a picnic with all my favorite foods, remember? Ben said

Yeah but that's on Thursday. I said

Today is it is Thursday. Ben said

No it's not. It's Tuesday. I said

No it's not it's Thursday. Ben said showing me his calendar

Oh shit...

I knew that. I said

No, no, no. I was fully messing with you. I knew it was Thursday. I just have one more thing to go bake, and then I am all yours. I said lying though my teeth.

Well, what about class? Ben asked

She multi tasks. I said

She dabbles. I said as rushed to figure out how I was gonna make a full course meal in a matter of a few hours

As I was thinking about how it was make this meal I remembered I had to give Carlos his truth gummy and as I was making my way there into a reporter that had manage to sneak past security AKA fairy godmother.

When I finally got to the boys dorm I rushed in, closed the door and locked it and had a moment where my eyes glowed green again

"Whoa. Easy, girl" Carlos said as I looked at him like I wanted to slap the freckles off his face

"What? You think this is so easy?! You don't have people taking a photo of you every single time you open your mouth to say boo! I mean, it's not that I could even say, "Boo," but, you know what I..." I said

"I'm sorry" Carlos said as I sighed

"Carlos, don't you ever miss screaming at people and just making them run away from you?" I asked

"You're thinking of my mother, and I was usually on the other end of that. So, not really. No. But I do miss Reina and I do wonder if she's surviving ok on the isle" Carlos said as I nodded

I wondered that too and and it warmed my heart that I wasn't the only one that worried about Reina's well-being.

I would have mentioned Reina to Ben to see if he would being her over but when I mentioned it to Evie she went ballistic asking me if I was insane and that I would be a mistake that would cost us everything so I left it alone.

"Hey, did you bring it?" Carlos asked

Just as I had pulled the gummy the door opened again. We thought it was Jay since I had locked it but we were both surprised to see Chad

"Hi. Just came to use your 3D printer. Won't be but a sec." Chad said

"How'd you get a key to my room?" Carlos asked

"Oh, I printed it off last time I was in here. Uh... you guys were sleeping. Look, I just-- Your printer's so much better than mine, and you install these hacks and everything runs so much smoother than mine and.." Chad said

"Out! Now." Carlos said

"Fine. Fine." Chad said as he turned to leave but Carlos stopped him

"And leave the key." Carlos said as Chad groaned and left the key on the table before he made his exit
"Mal?"

"Hmm?" I said

"My potion?" Carlos asked

"Hmm. Yeah. Um..." I said as I showed it to him

'So, this thing will make me say what I really feel to Jane?" Carlos asked

"Yeah. I mean, this is a truth gummy, so take it or leave it." I said bluntly

"Perfect." Carlos said as he was about to take it but I stopped him

"Hold on, though. Are you sure that you want to be taking this? Because this is gonna make you say the truth all the time, no matter what, and the only reason that I'm asking is because I know that if I took this right now, I would get myself sent back to the Isle. Which, it's not that that sounds super unappealing, but, you know..." I said

"Yeah. I'll take my chances, I guess." Carlos said as I nodded

As I was about to give it to him dude, the campus mutt jumped off the bed and ate it

"Ohh! Bad dog!" I said

"Man, that thing was nasty! And you just got to man up. And while you're at it, scratch my butt." Dude said as me and Carlos looked at dude in shock that the gummy gave him the ability to talk

"You heard him. Scratch his butt." I said as I turned and left

"Mal. You're just gonna leave me with him?" Carlos called out

Yup. He's your dog so this is now a you problem. I have bigger problems to worry about. I said
