"Shadow wait." Sonic said and grabbed his arm before he went back. "Did she teach you slow dances as well?"

Shadow looked at him and nodded.

"Can you teach me those as well?" Sonic asked and dropped his eyes from embarrassment

"You'll have to wait. This song isn't good for it" Shadow said

"Alright." Sonic said

Shadow sipped his drink

"It must have been great to have had a person like her in your life." Sonic said

Shadow nodded

Sonic drank the rest of his mojito

Shadow watched

"On what types of music do you do slow dances?" Sonic asked

"Slow songs" Shadow said

"I can ask Amy play one instead of waiting for the right song to come." Sonic said

"Won't that look a bit strange? You asking for that then dancing with me Faker?" Shadow asked

"Maybe it's strange but maybe you will understand when I explain it to her." Sonic said

"Okay then" Shadow said.

Sonic went over to Amy and asked her to put on some slow music.

"If you wanted to dance with me you could have asked so." Amy said while smiling at me.

Sonic laughed nervously. "You see Amy. I can't do slow dances so Shadow is gonna teach me." He explained.

"Oh." Amy said disappointed.

Sonic hated seeing her disappointed and sighed. "I can dance with you after he taught me." He said, much to his dislike.

"Alright!" Amy said happily and went to put on some slow music while Sonic went back to Shadow.

Shadow looked at him and had finished his drink and put the glass Down. "What did she say?"

"Nothing much." Sonic said

Shadow nodded

Soon, slow music started playing. "Well come on." Sonic said and grabbed Shadow's wrist and took him back to the dance floor

Shadow walked to the dance floor with him

"Alright. Show me how it's done." Sonic said

Shadow moved closer and positioned his hands

"Is there a pattern in the moves? Or is it on feeling?" Sonic asked

"Well there's a pattern but when people can't dance they just go with the flow" Shadow said

"I'll just try so what you do" Sonic said

"I'll show you look at my feet" Shadow said and showed him the pattern.

Sonic looked at his feet and copied his movements.

Soon they were going at a nice rhythm

Sonic smiled and looked up at him

Shadow looked back at him

"Fun, isn't it?" Sonic asked

Shadow nodded

"There are more types of positions for slow dances, right?" Sonic asked. "I remember two from all the movies Amy and I watched."

Shadow nodded "but I think this one is better" Shadow said

Sonic chuckled. "That is because you're dancing with me, isn't it?"

Shadow let go of him and walked away

"Wait Shadow! Come back!" Sonic said and went after him

Shadow kept walking

Sonic grabbed his arm and turned him around. "Did I do something wrong?"

Shadow found himself too close to sonic and stepped back

"Answer me." Sonic said

"I didn't like that comment you made" Shadow said.

"Oh sorry." Sonic said and dropped his ears. "I'm sorry if I offended you with it."

"You didn't offend me. You just pissed me off" shadow said

"I didn't mean to" sonic said

Shadow shrugged

"I will leave you alone to cool off." Sonic said and walked away from him

Shadow let him

Sonic went over to the bar counter and ordered another drink

Shadow sat at the table for a while.

Sonic felt like drinking so he drank more and more.

Shadow had a few more drinks

Rouge had noticed Shadow was sitting alone for a while and went over to him. "Hey Hun. I saw you were dancing with Big Blue." She said and winked at him

Shadow rolled his eyes

"What? It's sweet" Shadow said

"He wanted me to dance with him" Shadow said

"Aw and you accepted" Rouge said "your such a sweetie"

Shadow shook his head

"I think you are" Rouge said

Shadow looked away

"But why slow dances? Do you like each other?" Rouge asked

"He asked me to teach him so I assumed it was for rose" Shadow said

Rouge laughs softly "of course it would be for her" rouge said sarcastically

Shadow ordered a Gin and Lemonade

The bartender nodded and started making him one

Shadow looked around

"Yo Shadz, you're also getting another
drink?" Sonic chuckled and moved closer to him. Obviously already a bit drunk.

Shadow moved back a little "Yeah. How
many have you had faker?"

"Uuummm... I lost count." Sonic answered

Shadow rolled his eyes

"I know more than ten." Sonic said

"Well don't expect me to be the one looking after you when you can't walk" shadow said

Sonic laughed. "Why would you? You hate
me."

"Exactly" Shadow said

"I wish you didn't hate me." Sonic said

"Why?" Shadow asked

"Because I like. I want to be friends with you but you don't want to." Sonic answered

Shadow looked at the bartender for his
drink

The bartender handed him his drink

Shadow took it "Come on faker let's go sit
down"

Sonic nodded. "Alright Shadz."

Shadow walked over to a table

Sonic grabbed his drink and followed him

Shadow sat down

Sonic sat down next to him

Shadow put his drink down

Sonic took another sip of his drink

They talked and drank. They both were now drunk.

"You know, I know your secret." Sonic said
and couldn't help but laugh
