Sonic told Rouge about that he was concerned about Shadow and asked if she would go talk to him which she did. She walked up to him. "Hey Handsome."

Shadow looked at her "hey." He didn't wanna be rude to her but he didn't feel like speaking much.

"Are you alright? Sonic is concerned about you since you're acting a bit different." Rouge said

Shadow nodded "yea I'm fine"

"You know you can talk to me about everything." Rouge said and held his hand.

Shadow looked at her hand "in Okay, honestly. Now don't make this about me. It's Amy's birthday. Make sure she has a good day"

Rouge nodded. "Alright. Do I need to send Sonic back to keep you company?"

"No im not dependent on him" Shadow said

"Alright then. Just don't get lonely." Rouge said and let go of his hand.

Rouge went back to the rest of the group.

Shadow sat on his own for a while

After a while, everyone had arrived. Vector, Espio, Mighty, Sticks, and some other friends of Amy that the team didn't really know.

When everyone had greeted each other, most went to get a drink so it came crowed where Shadow was

Shadow removed himself from the crowd.

Sonic noticed this and walked over to him. "Still not a fan of crowds I see." He chuckled

"Wanna sit there?" Sonic asked and pointed over to a table in the corner

Shadow put his drink down.

"Soo.." sonic said, not really knowing what to talk about.

"I never noticed that your eyes were so gorgeous." Sonic said as he stared into his eyes

"I'm gonna grab a drink." Sonic said and got up

Shadow looked over at the group

One of Amy's friends, a girl named Lily, walked up to him. "Hey sexy~" She said and sat next to him. "Why are you all by yourself?"

"Excuse me, who are you?" Shadow asked confused as to why she was speaking to him.

"Lily, one of Amy's friends." Lily answered and placed her hand on his arm. "You're even more sexier up close~"

Shadow looked at her hand before moving his arm away.

"Why don't we have some fun?~" Lily asked. "What do you say?~"

"Erm... no im okay" shadow said.

Lily giggled and hugged his arm. "Come on. I know you want it~"

"No I'm really okay" Shadow said

Lily rolled her eyes "Amy is right. Your really no fun".

"And that's how I like it" Shadow said.

"But we can chance that~" Lily said and kissed his cheek

Shadow moved his head away.

"Come on big boy. Don't be like that." Lily said and wrapped her arms around his neck and pressed her body against his.

Shadow moved away from her

"Am I not good enough for you?" Lily asked with an angry look on her face

"Well you don't have a dick do you?" Shadow said

"W-Wait... you're gay?!" Lily practically yelled out of shock

Shadow covers her mouth " not so loud"

"I can't believe this. I thought I could make you love me." Lily said, being disappointed

"Don't out me to the others" Shadow said

"Do you have a crush on someone? I mean, how do you know you're gay?" Lily asked. Many questions started running through her head

"No and I don't know now can you leave me alone now?" Shadow asked

Lily nodded and left him alone. Knowing she didn't have a chance with him

Shadow looked around

The others were having fun and enjoy their drinks

Shadow drank some of his drink

"Hey Shadz." Sonic said and sat next to him. "Who was that girl?"

Shadow shrugged

"Getting bothered by girls as well I see." Sonic chuckled

"She was one of roses friends" Shadow said

Sonic nodded. "I don't know any of them." He said and took a sip from his mojito

"Same" Shadow said.

"Well at least I'm glad she has other friends." Sonic said

"Speaking Of other friends, you don't have to stay with me Faker." Shadow said

"But I want to." Sonic said. "You're me friend as well and I enjoy just talking with you instead of fighting."

"Well I can fight you" Shadow said

"Let's don't fight. Now is not the time." Sonic said

"Well go dance instead" Shadow said

"I'm not that much of a dancer." Sonic said

"Why not?" Shadow asked

"I can't really dance. I don't know how to." Sonic answered

"Maria loved dancing. She used to teach me. Even if it was just swaying sometimes" Shadow said

"You can dance? I never expected that." Sonic said

"Rarely" Shadow said

"Now I would like to see you dance." Sonic said

"No thanks" Shadow said

"Someone is shy." Sonic teased him

"You can't even dance" Shadow said

"Well... you could teach me how." Sonic suggested

"Here?" Shadow said with a raised eyebrow

"Where else?" Sonic said

Sonic went to the small dance floor they had in the bar then turned to Shadow

"Pay attention" Shadow said and showed him again

Sonic watched him closely

Sonic smiled. "But I think I will keep it to fighting."

"This just isn't really something for me." Sonic said

Shadow went to go sit back down
