Chapter 9 - A Familiar Face

"Thank you for letting me stay here and taking care of me." I said as I did a little bow to Ciel and Sebastian. "Well, I have to get going now, Michelle and Louis are waiting for me." I pointed toward carriage that Michelle and Louis were in.

I gave Ciel a hug and a kiss on the cheek, I gave Sebastian a wave goodbye before I turned around and started to walk to the carriage and got inside. Elliot was there and he was waving his small arms toward me so Michelle handed him over to me.

"Hey there, little guy. I missed you." I said to him as I kissed his forehead.

"So, how are you feeling?" Michelle asked as she smiled at me.

"I'm definitely feeling better. Sebastian surely does know how to help my injuries." I replied as I started to play with Elliot. Then I gasped and looked at Michelle who gave me a puzzled look. "I forgot to tell you! Yesterday, Ciel and I went on a date."

Michelle gasped and threw her hands on her mouth. "How was it? What did you two do?"

"We went into town and I got a new dress, so I can help out around the shop more. Then there was this carnival that we saw." I explained as I kissed Elliot's chubby cheek.

"Louis and I heard about the carnival."

"Then, we went on the carousel. It was so fun and it was kinda romantic." Michelle squealed and she gave me a big smile.

"Ah, young love. I remember when Louis and I used to be like that." Michelle says as she closed her eyes and smiled, probably thinking of some memories. I let out a small chuckle and I looked at Elliot, who was starting to fall asleep in my arms.

"Do you think Ciel and I will end up like you and Louis? Who are content with their relationship and even has some kids?"

"Well, all I can say is, to just keep loving Ciel. Make sure you both talk to each other about the littlest things, talk about each other's day and just keep them in check. The smallest things can be the biggest things."

"Thank you! Come again!" I said to the customer as they smiled at me and left the shop. I cleaned up the counter. I walked around and picked up all of the cups and brought them over to the sink where I was doing the dishes. The doorbell rang, which meant a customer came through the doors.

"Welcome to 'Teas of life!'" I say cheerfully as I lifted my head to give the customer a smile, to make them feel more comfortable, but instead my mouth fell agape and my eyes widened.

"A-alois?"

"Ah, i've missed you (F/N), I see you haven't forgotten me."

"Aha, can I help you with something Alois?" I asked confused.

"Hmm..get me regular green tea then." Alois answered as he went to sit down at a table. I quickly made the tea and walked over to him and placed it down on the table in front of him. I turned around to back to finishing my work until Alois called me again.

"(F/N)?"

"Yes, Alois?" I asked as I turned around. He stuck his hand out to the chair in front of him and smiled at me.

"Why don't we catch up on each other's life? It has been a while since I saw you." I hesitated to answer, but I did.

"Fine." I answered as I walked over and sat in front of him. "How are you Alois?" I asked.

"I'm doing fine, thank you. You know, you did stop visiting me." He replied as he sipped his tea. I gave him an awkward smile.

"I thought you were just fine without me visiting."

"I missed you though." He replied looking at me with a smile, or a smirk? Before I could answer, the phone for the shop rang and I walked over to answer it.

"Hello? Teas of life, this is (F/N). How can I help you?" I asked through the phone.

"(F/N)," Ciel said to me.

"Oh! Ciel! Did you need something?" I asked.

"I was just wondering if you were doing alright." He asked, and I couldn't help but smile. I let out a smile chuckle before answering.

"I'm fine, thank you." I was about to ask Ciel how he was doing until a voice interrupted me.

"Oh? Is that Ciel?" Alois said in the back.

"Who is that?" Ciel asked confused. Alois walked over to me and I looked at him confused. "Ciel? Is that you? It's me Alois!"

"A-Alois?! What the hell are you doing there?" Ciel said shocked.

"Give me the phone." Alois said and he took the phone from my hands. I sighed and walked to the sink to finish my dishes.

"What are you doing there?!" Ciel shouted through the phone to Alois. Alois let out a chuckle and Ciel's frustration started to rise. "Where's (F/N)?"

"She's over by the sink doing her dishes. Isn't she just the most amazing person ever? She's so responsible." Alois replied.

"What are you planning Trancy?" Ciel said harshly.

"Nothing, I just wanted to chat with the sweet (F/N)." Alois replied, getting on Ciel's nerves even more.

"Just leave, Alois." ALois sighed before smirking.

"Fine, I'll leave for today. I will come back again to talk to (F/N) again though. Goodbye Phantomhive." Alois said before he hung up the phone and walked over to the door. "Alright, i'm going now (F/N)! I'll see you some other time!!" Alois said before he left the shop.

When (F/N) was done doing the dishes she called Ciel back and they talked about Alois for a quick moment.

"He didn't do anything to you did he?" Ciel asked.

"He didn't. It's okay Ciel." (F/N) replied, her voice calming Ciel down.

"I see. I'll stop by tomorrow then. See you then."

"Okay, I love you Ciel." (F/N) said with a smile.

"I-I love you too." Ciel replied before he hung up the phone. (F/N) chuckled to herself, hearing Ciel still get flustered from saying those words to her, but it always melted her heart.
