Fab4 and Navya were sitting together and chilling.
Na-Hame lagta hai sab theek hoga.
Al-Even I think so..both have gone through the same.
Navya and Alya knew Nandini..Navya as Cabir's girlfriend and Alya..she had met her in an inter college event.
Mu-I don't think so...dono ne sirf shakal dekhi hai ek dusre ki.
Al-Wrong Mukti..they've spoken too.
Mu-Ya right..what!? Hey..how are you! She said sarcastically.
Dh-Mukti...usiko blind date kehte hai!! Dhruv answered.

At around 8 Manik reached his destination. It was a great Italian restaurant with an it's kind ambience. He saw her sitting there in a corner where there was less crowd.
M-Hey! He reached out to her.
N-Hie!! Nandini..she smiled faintly and forwarded her hand.
M-Umm..Manik! He reciprocated. Good that you chose a place with less commotion. Now a days I don't like it..he said with a small smile.
N-Me too.. she answered lost.

M-Okay..this is getting awkward. Let's order..he suggested after an era of silence from both ends.

N-Jaisi tumhari hai...wo bhai ne bataya.
M-Yeah!! he said sadly.
N-Life is so unfair na...she said all lost.
M-It is.But then this is how all works right..he said keeping his hand on hers...bringing her out of the trance.
N-Ek tarah se it is the best...kam se kam hume ye toh pata chala..we were with the wrong persons.
M-Hmm...he said with a smile.'Quiet positive u are...just as Cabir said.' He says to her..
N-*smiles* I'm done..I'll go for deserts.You!?
M-Madam..you eat too slow..I finished long back..he chuckled and she pouted...'Okay I know another place famous for it's milkshakes and coldstone icecreams..we'll go there!?'

N-Waise...how did all this...I mean. She asked him just out of curiosity while sipping her milkshake and he looked at her...'It's ok.If you are not comfortable'
M-She just said it's not working and left...without giving me a chance to even open my mouth...hmmhhh. Aur...u!?
N-He..wo...I caught him cheating on me..he was making out with some other girl. And then he said he was never serious about me. She reminisced the incident forming tears. He held her hand in his..wiped her tears and made her look at him.
M-They're not worth it..
N-I am lucky that way...atleast I got a closure..but she left you abruptly..
M-That's not it actually...it was for her family.Her brother and me are kinda rivals.She came to me with a revenge plot and left exactly according to it.
N-She told you!!? she asked bewildered.
M-Hmm..

Talking and talking..they reached the car..Both sat inside ad Manik turned the car..

N-Manik let's go to the beach na..please she said softly and looked at him.He just smiled and nodded.
M-But you're sure na..coz it would be cold now.
N-Hmm..

Both were walking side by side and also parallel to the horizon.
N-I always feel peace here..
M-It is indeed...peaceful.
N-Thanku Manik...
M-Thanku Nandini...coz of you..aaj itne dino baad I feel peace..I feel happy from inside.I'm glad maine Cabir ki baat maanli.
N-Mee too!! she said and held his hand.He gave no expression but tightening his grip walked along step by step.
M-You know I love the stars.. he said suddenly when they were sitting on the cold sand close to each other still holding hands.

M-Used to..!? He asked confused. They're so pretty.They keep shining all the time.
N-Aryamnn..my boyfriend!!
M-Ex boyfriend. He corrected her.
N-Ya..he... He na..never liked them.I had always loved them and wished star gazing with the one I loved.But wo..whenever I told him this..he said. 'Nandini you're too clishé. Grow up!'
M-Don't worry..whenever you feel like na...mujhe bulalena.I will come star gazing with you.
N-*she smiled a genuine smile* Par I don't have your number na..
M-Oh..it's ok.Hum agli baar se bhi Cabir ko hi bolenge to make us meet ok.
He said and both laughed out loud..
M-Main khud nai jaanta main kitne time baad itna hasa hoon...
N-Main bhi..

She said and they exchanged numbers.They got back to the car and Manik reached her place.

N-Hum phir milenge na.. she asked him..or rather reconfirming...while getting down.
M-Wada!! He answered kissing her knuckles...and waved her goodnight as she went inside..He reached his place as well.
Both the places..the situation was no different. They had forgotten about their grey past and were all pink with the reminiscences of the past few hours.They sat thinking about each other.
