You and I: Chapter 9: Shopping with Lola

Lola and I finally planned a day out to go shopping I desperately needed to go shopping I just wanted to get some food shopping so I could surprise Freddie with a home cooked romantic candle lit meal at his place tonight when he got home from a gig Queen was doing, he'd been working so hard, so naturally I wanted to help him relax, I can't believe he gave me a spare key to his place.

Lola: So, what're you planning for Freddie tonight?

Shanai: Well, he's been working so hard lately, he's been so tired, so I thought I could go to his place and surprise him with a home cooked romantic candle lit dinner, to help relax him.

Lola: Awww, that's an amazing idea! He will absolutely love it! Did you know, that when we all go to the canteen for lunch, Freddie comes to sit with me and talks about you non-stop?

Shanai: (blushes and wide eyed) R-really? H-he does? Um... what does he say?

Lola: He really does! Freddie always mentions how beautiful your features are, how intelligent you are, how much you make him laugh, he says you're wonderful and he loves you deeply, forever and ever.

I smile shyly, cheeks heating up and evidently going red. I never knew he thought so highly of plain, ugly, fat, weird, little me.

Shanai: I love him too! I will always love him, with all of my heart. He really is one of a kind, he's so talented, so breathtaking, I'm falling in love with Freddie deeply.

We carried on down the street, talking and laughing, After getting the food shopping, we came across a lingerie boutique, I'd never been in one before and I was always too nervous to go into one, I explained this to Lola and she took me by the hand and lead me inside.

Lola: You could give an extra surprise, by wearing sexy lingerie, Freddie won't expect it or be able to keep his hands off you.

Shanai: Ooh! Good idea! I do want Freddie to be relaxed but also want to I want to seduce him completely, to the point he's begging me for mercy hehehehe!

Lola: (gasps and laughs) You dirty bitch, Hahahahahaha! You're a tricky little minx, aren't you?

Shanai: (with a dirty laugh and a twinkle in the eye) Maybe, Maybe not! Hehehehehehe!

Lola: In that case, come with me! I spy something sensual, hot and sexy on that rack, it looks very seductive! (followed with a comedic flirty wink).

I laugh, nodded to say okay and let Lola drag me over to the rack, there I saw, a lacy set consisting of a black see through negligee with a thin silk ribbon to hold it together, a black lacy bra and a black lacy thong, I gasped, I was amazed and it was a large size, my size, I could've burst into tears with happiness that I actually found something in my size.

Shanai: It's sexy AND it's in my size! Oh my Stars! Lola, this is perfect thank you so much.

Lola: Hey, don't have to thank me hun, you'll be amazing! Take all credit for this, Freddie's going to love this so much! He'll be salivating when he sees you dressed in this.

Shanai: (shyly) Oh, I wouldn't think he would be salivating when he sees my fat thighs, stomach and arse.

Lola: Shanai, Freddie LOVES you, every part of you, he's absolutely besotted with you!

Shanai: (blushing) Hehehe! I'm lucky to be loved by such a wonderful person, he makes me feel I'm special, he makes me feel I'm important.

Lola: I've seen the way you both look at each other, you're made for each other Shanai, he loves you. He completely loves you.

I pay for the lingerie very confidently, Lola and I stroll arm in arm giggling about rude stories, out of the shop. Lola is so cool, confident and funny. I learned that she's engaged to be married to a nice man named Oliver West, they've been engaged for 2 years now, she's so thrilled and Oliver sounds pretty nice. We make our way down the high street to our favourite cafe for lunch "Munch on Lunch" Lola had a jacket potato with cheese and beans, with a side salad, then grabbed some ketchup to squirt onto the salad and I just had a MASSIVE cooked breakfast.

Lola: so, come on what's your story? Let's get to know each other, tell me about yourself, sweetie.

Shanai: I was born in Cardiff, I moved to Swansea when I was two, moved about in Swansea stopped in Bonymaen for about nearly 20 years, the first street I lived on I was there for 8 years we had to move because the family next door terrorised us, particularly the son he was a drug dealer and schizophrenic, he used to rob us, threaten us, set our shed on fire, threw a brick through my bedroom window, my mother caught him in our house and he ran off and he finally got sent to prison. The second street we lived there nearly ten years but we moved because the man next door kept setting fires and his dog was vicious and finally stopping in Colwyn Avenue where my mum still lives with her new husband, got into college after having years of hell in high school then finally came to London when I got offered a scholarship into the drama course.

Lola: Wow! You went through all that? That's quite the story!

Shanai: Yeah, well you know.

Lola: How are you enjoying London?

Shanai: It's okay here, I miss my family and friends but I'm getting used to living in England now, I've managed to make some friends (smiles slightly).

Lola: You'll fit in just fine, Besides you got me and the boys to help along the way (giving me a big smile).

Shanai: Thanks I really appreciate it hun, I'm glad that you guys are here while I adjust to England.

Lola: Not a problem, If you need any help with anything just let me know, I'll try to help in anyway I can.

We carried on with our lunch, it was so delicious the bacon was HEAVENLY! We discussed our favourite bands, colours, clothes, TV shows and films, etc etc. It was so fun, just having a laugh and just discussing our lives and swapping hilarious stories, I miss my friends and family but at least now I'm not alone, to think I'm the same shy, quiet timid little girl from all those years ago now I'm getting confident and not being shy, I'm taking risks and chances, I'm me again, I must ring my mother sometime to let her know about my new developments.

Shanai: So, how did you meet your fiancé, Oliver?

Lola: We'd been best friends since primary school, then started dating in our first year of high school, he'd fancied me since we met and vice versa, then a year ago he proposed under the cherry blossom tree at our school, when we went there for our school reunion.

Shanai: awww that's an amazing story, that's so sweet Lola! He's a lucky lad to have you! Oh I have to get going, Freddie'll be back at his place in an hour!

We both said goodbye and hugged each other, I loved that day so much it was so fun, I've made a new friend in England at last YAY!
