Chapter 3: You and I: Calling 2 days later

Well, here's the third chapter I'm doing my absolute best to make you all happy with this story please enjoy <3

Shanai's POV

It's a cold night tonight, The Wizard of Oz is on the Telly tonight and it's about to finish, I absolutely adore Judy Garland, all of a sudden my telephone rings, it's Freddie ringing just like he promised faithfully, I pick up the phone.

Shanai: Hello?

Freddie: Shanai? Hi it's Freddie, sorry to ring you this late darling, but I did promise to call you.

Shanai: Hello Freddie, it's okay, how sweet of you to remember to call, how are you?

Freddie: I'm very well my dear, I just rang up to ask if you wanted to have dinner with me tonight? at 9 tonight, if you want to of course.

Shanai:(I blush and smile) Yes, that would be lovely, thank you very much, I'll have a look to see if I have anything suitable to wear, because I mostly wear scruffy jeans hahaha.

Freddie: (laughs flirtatiously) I'll pick you at 7 o'clock, we're eating at my flat I'm cooking and you'll look lovely no matter what you wear and that's a fact.

Shanai: (I giggle flirtatiously) Lovely, and yes if you want to and thank you so much, see you soon, Freddie.

Freddie: (With seduction in his voice) You are very welcome, and it'll be a pleasure, see you soon gorgeous.

I placed the phone back on the handset, and dashed up to my room excitedly and prepared for dinner with Freddie, I didn't know what to wear, so I dug out my tight, strapless short black and red lacy dress, opted for no bra, fishnet stockings and flat shoes. I then applied my makeup and shaved my armpits hahaha. Finally, I tied my hair up in a ponytail and sprayed some perfume on. I suddenly heard a knock at the door, I ran down the stairs and headed towards the door and opened the door.

Shanai: Hi, how are you?

Freddie:(Turns around and his jaw drops) WOW! just... WOW! You look absolutely jaw dropping gorgeous, you look breathtaking, I can't take my eyes off you, I am spell bound.

Shanai: (with my most confident smile) Oh thank you, you too, you look great, are you sure I look okay? Because I can always change into something longer and more appropriate, just in case I look like a tart.

Freddie: Thank you, but YOU look perfect, very beautiful, very hot, and very sexy (he winks at me).

Shanai: (with seduction in my voice and a flirty smile) Thank you I try my best to look presentable and nice for the world.

Freddie: You always do to me, you ready to go? (He offers his arm and I link my arm with his).

I lock the door behind us, We get into this ford mustang (he borrowed it from a bandmate) it's so amazing I've never been in a car like this before it amazes me, Freddie is such a blast, he makes me laugh so much, He's so much fun and he's so down to earth, maybe I'm in love with him after all, stop it Shanai, he isn't in love with you, he's a gorgeous man and a rockstar, you're a barmaid. It couldn't happen, you're being stupid, no man would love you you're a freak and ugly and fat, give up the fantasy, girl.

Freddie: (concluding his tour of his small, homely flat) ...And this is the dining room here we go here's our food hope you like the food it's my first time cooking (he pulls out a chair for me and seats me).

Shanai: Wow! Your flat is beautiful, well if you work hard enough, you can do whatever you want, food looks amazing I'm so hungry haha.

Freddie: Thank you it's small and grim but it's something and that's very true, dig in hope you enjoy, you really do look gorgeous by the way.

Shanai: Oh Thank you on both counts haha.

Freddie:(He takes my hand in his and kisses it) I'm really enjoying being with you tonight, you're different to everybody else, you're a breath of fresh air you really are extraordinary, you're a funny girl, intelligent and beautiful with a heart made of a diamond, by the way I've never seen you with your hair down.

Shanai: (I place my hand on his cheek) Maybe one day, I always wear my hair down unless I'm working or try to glam up if I'm going out with someone who is a part of my life, yes now you're a part of my life reality and in music.

Freddie:(Smiles at me with love his eyes) Thank you you're a part of my life now too, you're a special person in my life even though we've just met two days ago, it feels I've know you forever.

Shanai:(Looking at him with love in my eyes and I smile adoringly) I truly am enjoying being with you, you've truly made my life feel better.

He reaches across, strokes his hand against my left cheek, looks into my eyes and gently presses his perfect soft peach-coloured lips to my right cheek for 5 minutes, takes both my hands to his lips tenderly kissing each finger.

Freddie:(Still holding my hands) I'm glad you're enjoying yourself tonight, I've never met anyone like you, may I take your bobble out? I would like to see your lovely dark hair flowing.

Shanai: (I nod) Yes okay, but I warn you it's not a pretty sight, I'm quite off putting, despite what a certain person sitting with me says, I'm quite honestly a fat ugly duckling, I've never liked myself especially at school.

Freddie gets up, walks behind me and gently takes my bobble out of my hair, watching my long hair, slowly falling down my back, I hear him gasp in amazement, he runs his fingers through my hair gently, softly and slowly. He takes time going through every strand of hair on my head, he gently brushes my hair behind my ear and whispers into it and I can feel his hot breath it's making my heart beat faster and he finally sits back down.

Freddie:(Holds my hands and looks deep into my eyes) You're beautiful, mesmerising, breathtaking. Fuck what everyone else says, YOU Shanai Eliza Jane Collins, are gorgeous, despite what you think and this man who's sitting with you now, realises your beauty inner and outer, don't let me hear you talk bad about yourself ever again.

Shanai: (Looks into his deep soulful eyes and kissed his cheek) Thank you Freddie, no man until now has ever said anything like that before, I think I've been waiting all my life for a real man to say exactly that, God bless you.

Freddie: He blessed me when you walked into my life, I thank you for accidentally stumbling in.

Shanai: (I smile shyly but lovingly) Thank you and I'm glad I make you happy in my odd little way.

Freddie smiles, gazes into my eyes and kisses my cheek for five minutes again but passionately.
