Ben and Will are sitting by the pool.

"I can't believe she had the courage to pretend she doesn't remember me, why? To Ignore me?" Ben says irritated

"You messed up with her" Will says "you don't even know the story" Ben says looking at the horizon.

"It's about the cake thing at the dance, isn't it?" Will ask, Ben thinks for a while and clears his throat "sure" Ben says without looking at Will.

"Is there anything more to this story?" Will questions, Ben scratches the back of his head "of course not, that's all" Ben says, Will raises his eyebrow.

"That's all!!" Ben says impatiently "okay okay, just wanted to make sure" Will says.

"I can't believe I'm going to have to spend the next few days with her, it's going to be a nightmare" Ben says "don't exaggerate man" Will says.

"You were there, you saw the beast" Ben says, Will stays quiet "Unbelievable, you think it was my fault!?" Ben says.

"No, I mean you insisted on talking about something that hurt her when she clearly didn't want to talk in front of everyone, I think she deserves an apology" Will says, Ben shakes his head.

"I also deserve an apology for being ignored and on top of that she called me immature and weak...uhg I hate her" Ben rolls his eyes.

"So you're not going to apologize?" Will says "no" Ben says "want my honest opinion?" Will ask "no but I feel like you're going to talk anyway" Ben says.

"look, whether you want it or not, you'll spend the next few days with her, I think you should talk to her and at least convince her to pretend that everything is fine between you, for Marni, just for a few days" Will says.

"That's exactly what she was doing" Ben says "yes the difference is that now you two would be in agreement" Will says "I can't see myself having a normal conversation with that girl" Ben says.

"Well, it would be mature of you to do that, remember? She called you immature, prove otherwise" Will says, Ben shakes his head irritably.

"It's time to grow up man, maybe this is your chance" Will says "wait, what are you saying?" Ben says "maybe it would be good for you to sort things out with her, it's your unresolved issue that who knows could lead to somewhere" Will says.

Ben laughs "with her? No there is no place to go with her, she made it very clear that she doesn't like me and to be honest I don't think much differently" Ben says.

"but you'll still have to see her again" Will says "ok, do you want me to talk to her? I will, but the story will end there" Ben says.

Will nods "okay, if you say you don't like her, I believe you" Will laughs lightly "I don't like her" Ben says.

"and I heard it, but you care too much about what she thinks, if I didn't know any better I would say she messes with you and that you like it" Will says.

"I don't care what she thinks, she just caught me off guard.." Ben tries to justify, Will nods "I don't even know why I still talk to you about these things" Ben rolls his eyes and leaves.
