In the same year Joanna and Will Olsen married after conflicts between Marni and Joanna were resolved, Marni and Charlie began dating that same year.

But now 13 years later, Marni and Charlie live together and have a whole life together in New York, but due to Marni's job they never had a chance to have a real wedding ceremony, with cake, dresses and their families and friends gathered.

Marni is in the kitchen of her apartment preparing dinner when Charlie enters.

"Hi Honey" Charlie says giving Marni a kiss "what are you doing?" Charlie asks "Just dinner, since I'm working an extra shift tomorrow I thought I'd spend some time with you today" Marni says.

Charlie smiles "I'm flattered" Charlie sits down "isn't it a good sign that spending time with my own husband is a privilege for him to feel honored to receive....it had to be something natural" Marni says

"Hey relax, we've talked about this and it's okay" Charlie says "Aww you're cute but it's not okay, in fact it's not okay because I used the word husband and we're not even married!" Marni says.

"No, but we don't need that to be a complete couple" Charlie approaches and takes her arms, Marni smiles.

"But I always dreamed of...a wedding party, with a cake and a dress and my family there" Marni says.

"and I don't see why we don't" Charlie says "what?" Marni asks "let's get married!" Charlie says "oh you don't need to..."Marni says Charlie kneels "Charlie!" Marni laughs, Charlie takes the ring off Marni's finger "Marni Olivia Olsen, will you marry me? Officially?" Charlie says.

Marni blushes "Of course you fool" Marni says when she was about to lean in to kiss him he gets up and they both bump their foreheads.

"Owch!"Marni puts her hand on her forehead and Charlie does the same "and I intend to survive until the ceremony" Charlie says, Marni laughs.

"oh! Okay then let's do this, let's get married and have a party!" Marni says realizing.

"look, I want a small ceremony just for our families and some friends" Marni says "I understand, that's cool and how about your family and some friends?" Charlie says.

Marni frowns "what's wrong with your family?" Marni says "nothing is...I don't even know where in the world my sibilings are!" Charlie says slightly nervous.

"as far as I remember you said Stella was in Canada, and I vaguely remember seeing a photo of Richard here in New York" Marni says "well...there they are...but I haven't spoken to them in a while" Charlie says.

"I'm sure they wouldn't miss your wedding for anything, and I can't wait to finally meet Stella...uh isn't she the one that is same age as Ben?" Marni ask.

Charlie closes his eyes quickly and sighs "yes" Charlie says "oh I hope she likes me, from what you told me she has..." "a strong personality yes! But she will love you, she already likes you just because of the little she already knows" Charlie says.

Marni smiles "okay, call your parents,Stella and Richard, I'll call my mom and Will...or better yet, I'll send a message in the family group so even Ben will know..." Marni takes out her cell phone.

"Uh...are you going to invite Ben?" Charlie says "of course I will, he's my little brother, why?" Marni asks "nothing just...you know what, it doesn't matter" Charlie says, Marni frowns.

"You know now I stopped to think, our families never got together, right?" Marni says "yes, maybe there are reasons" Charlie says "what reasons?" Marni says "I don't know... well I remember our fathers had a a certain distance" Charlie says.

"oh true, I've seen this before...but if the problem is just my father and your father and there is no conflict with any of the other members of our families everything will be fine!" Marni says, Charlie agrees.

"There is no other conflict between our families, right?" Marni says, Charlie stays silent for a second "No, none" Charlie says nervously "great!" Marni says

"Aahh! We're getting married!" Marni celebrates by hugging Charlie and smiling, he hugs her and kisses her forehead, Marni takes out her cell phone and excitedly calls her mother.

Charlie watches Marni leave, and sighs, rubbing his head worriedly.
